- Rohan (2/5): - Room was not cleaned, requested but failed to do. When question I was told staff cannot read the language on card placed on door knob. We had breakfast, but hot buffet breakfast was cold. Not worth for the money. Room was cramped and it’s doesn’t look like on brochures at all. Bathroom mirror lights not working, reported but said can not buy the bulbs as they are not available. This hotel should not be 4 stars its condition is below the 3stars .not recommend this hotel as this is not worth for the money we paid £112 per day. Staff was ok but didn’t do much to help.

All in all we had a great two nights in a central location during the military pilgrimage so was entertained throughout by the military marches and bands, the culture was lovely, great atmosphere. We will return to this town and hope this hotel is available.

- Maria (6/5): - It was close to everything but the photos were not an accurate representation of the hotel. It is quite old and musty. It is still very clean, however. The bathtubs are slippery and dangerous.

We realised language might be a barrier, so also asked reception to pass on message. They said they would, when we returned in the evening the cleaning had not been done. We were unable to open safe on our last night with our code, tried to phone reception but phones turned off. Got dressed and went down to reception( needed our passports etc) as we were leaving early in the morning. The night porter was very nice but unable to help as he didn't know where master key was, a couple off hours later he found it and opened the safe. This saga went on from around midnight to 2 or 3 a.m. Needless to say it was a very stressful situation.

- MICHELLE (4/5): - Booked a deluxe double with a balcony, checked in with staff that clearly couldn’t be bothered. On entering the room it clearly wasn’t a deluxe double, no balcony and a very small room, so on the way out I queried it, they insisted it was deluxe so I showed them what their website states is a deluxe and what you get in your room, we had nothing ! When we returned we realized we’d been given a coffee machine, ( it was filthy ) anyway I decided to let it go and enjoy our time there, I went to reception to buy the pods for the machine to be told I need to go to the bar to purchase them, get to the bar to be told reception has them ! Eventually after a few huffs and puffs they bring out a box of pods which is advertised all over the hotel as €12 I was charged €16. By this time I was over it and just paid. The housekeeping was barely existent, after 3 days we realized the sink was leaking and so was the toilet, I just cleaned them myself as I just didn’t have the energy to deal with the rude reception. On the plus side, the day we checked out the staff had changed and was very friendly.

- HENRY (6/5): - I originally booked this property because of its location and the shuttle service it offered through Expedia. I called the day before my arrival and spoke to someone at front desk to arrange for the shuttle service and I was told it would be there waiting for us. Once we arrived at the airport, the surprise was that the hotel does not offer the shuttle service, and we had to wait over an hour for a taxi that we called to pick us, in the middle of the night, after the airport had closed on us, and we had to pay €150. Not a pleasant experience at this hotel, I would not stay here again.

You can’t request egg omelet . Same breakfast every day .I will not recommend to have breakfast buffet for 4 days stay .
- RobbiYo (10/5): - The main attraction of this area, the grotto at Lourdes is very close to the hotel location. After a bit of searching for a back route into the hotel because the main roads in were closed, we found the hotel and there was plenty of parking nearby.

- Maria (10/5): - Hotel Astrid is Awesome Astrid. We had a lovely stay the hotel was very close to the Sanctuary. Less than 5 min walk. With restaurants and shops galore. The staff was awesome with arranging transport to and from airport Toulouse especially we were a family of five with lots of luggage. We stayed in recently renovated rooms.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Location - Very well located. Room was basic and clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. WiFi had week signal on the 10th floor and was very slow. There is a parking garage nearby but was full when we got there as well as the metered parking outside the hotel.
- Mareleine (10/5): I would defo stay here again. - It was amazing the stay was lovely and amazing. When the cleaner didn't clean our room, the reception went beyond to make us happy and apologised. She bought us up coffee and drinks. Such an amazing hotel to stay in. They were very friendly and apologetic. I highly recommend and will stay here again, I'll be coming next month hopefully with my mum and will defo stay here. I came with my father and we loved it. Thank you Astrid for an amazing stay. - Jacque (8/5): Friendly staff, great location, but rooms are HOT - Friendly staff, great location, 2nd floor restaurant menu great, but rooms are HOT. They control your thermostat from front desk and after numerous (maybe 5) calls and visits to front desk, it was adjusted, but never to what I asked. They kept it at Auto and on fan and one of the two rooms was never really fixed. Rooms are beautiful and spacious (10th floor) but just hot! Paying customers should get to select room temperature.
- MANUEL (6/5): a two star hotel - small room...our coffee and tea were not refill after the first day...despite my request... not enough room to move around..it takes too long for the hot water to comes on...good front desk service...
- Lady Di (8/5): Great Location - Walking distance to the entrance of the Grotto. Very friendly staff. We were upgraded to the deluxe room, but I wonder what is the difference. There is no tissue box and only one trash can just inside the bathroom. There is no electric hot pot to make tea. Go to the bar downstairs, at least the coffee and tea prices are reasonable. The breakfast buffet is so so. We only tried it for a day since we didn't like the selections.

- Christopher (8/5): Great value, new, clean & convenient to Grotto - We stayed here for 2 nights Sep 12-14 arriving quite late from airport. Ditier check us in and he was very friendly and nice. There was a mixup with the room and when we entered t it was occupied though the person in that room wasn't there. It was rectified very quickly and we had a quite small but very newly furnished room with a balcony. The beds weren't joined together burry fixed it in the morning. Good bathroom with shower a small cupboard and television though no fridge, no outdoor furniture or even a single chair on balcony and the hardest bed on the over dozen places we've stayed in Europe. I could live without a fridge in hotel room but some kind of bench and mattress toppers would really elevate this hotel further as we both woke with aching back and sides. Other than this it is in an outstanding location just 250 metres from entrance to Lourdes sanctuary, a convenience store next door and numerous restaurants and cafes writhing 50-100m. Balcony overlooked anotthr hotel with hill and trees and to the left the Pyrennes Mountain I think (not sure if I spelt that correctly). We didn't have breakfast or any meals at hotel so can't comment on food. After walking past many hotels and also what I saw of pictures of other hotels in area I believe that the hotel still represents excellent value and is extremely clean and modern. With improving comfort of beds and balcony it would be magnificent.
- Charmaine (8/5): Staff was great - Very attentive and warm staff. Short walk to the grotto and very near restaurants. However, the wifi was slow and at times non existent. I will stay again in this hotel for its convenient location.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Must add basin in toilet - My main concern is the bath tub is too high to climb in and out and toilet being in a separate room is great except there's no basin to wash hands.
- Albert & Sylvia (8/5): Great location close to the Lourdes Grotto - The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Lourdes and very close walking distance to the Lourdes Grotto. It is in a quiet area. The hotel was pleasant and clean but the first room we were offered was not very good and we asked to be moved. You need to get a room on the upper floors in the front of the building. The free parking that is offered at this hotel is not at the actual hotel but about a 15 minute walk. We decided to park on the street right in front of the hotel and pay the local fee. The nice young lady at the hotel gave us a little sign to place on our dashboard which indicated we were staying at the hotel. She told me to place a few Euros in the parking machine for the morning and again in the afternoon and we would not have any problems. It all worked out. Our stay in Lourdes was wonderful and being off season, very quiet and personal.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok hotel - The hotel was very central and some of the staff were helpful. However the room was too small and did not smell the best. The breakfast at an additional cost €17 each was absolutely disgusting and wealth the extra charge.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A nice hotel close to the Grotto. - Hotel Astrid is one of the few hotels that are open during the winter time. It is just a few short walking minutes away from the Sanctuary. It is one of the newer hotels in the town. The restraunt was good and the staff cordial and helpful. I have stayed here before and would do so again.
