• Jennifer (7/5): It’s good place to stay for family and if you will be renting a car, the reception and some cleaners are fine, we stayed - The place is calm and silent good for Family, there is good area for parking We have requested from the reception to clean our room in order for me to put my 1 year old son into sleep. In spite of several follow ups it took 3hrs of waiting for the cleaner to come and clean our room, We requested earlier because my son that day is having fever and we need him to be relax and to avoid the noise of the vacuum cleaner

• Emily (10/5): The best hotel for families with young children! - We spent 5 nights at Kokotel Deheva Thonglor and loved it! We are traveling with a 2 year old son and he had the best time. We travel full time so we see a lot of hotels, and this one we all said we didn't want to leave. Things we loved about it: 1. Huge bed, perfect for the 3 of us, comfortable mattress, lovely bedding and a firm pillow which I need but never get. 2. A playground full of books and fully customisable, with soft Lego blocks, climbing modules, soft flooring, padded walls, 100's of books and a giant two story slide! Endless fun for our toddler. He loved being able to play with the other kids at the hotel. 3. The breakfast buffet and cafe served tasty Japanese style food. A different curry each day, cooked savory items like chicken, sausage and rice. There was also fruit, yogurt, cereal and pastry selections. Orange juice, water and fresh coffee for drinks. What I enjoyed most was that they provide children's plastic plates, bowls and cutlery! 4. Our room (420) was large, plenty of space for a kid to run around. Everything worked. The furniture was slightly worn and chipped but otherwise clean and functional. Water is provided and free self-serve refills are available for your whole stay. Things to know before you go: You can exit the hotel and walk along the river (safe and easy), but if you want to cross the river there is a very steep set of stairs you need to go up and down that leads directly next to a main road with fast traffic. Difficult to manage with a stroller and small child. There is a 7/11 just 5 min walk from the hotel. Lots of restaurants and street food as well, but you are surrounded by main roads everywhere, so be careful with small children. The hotel has a laundry you can use. They also provide complimentary washing liquid and conditioner. The balcony is small and mostly for the air-conditioning unit so not very usable, but has nice views of the city. The swimming pool is slightly heated

• Kwanruan (6/5): - Enter reception to check in. There are more a lot of kids playing running around at reception area. The girl said it was a birthday party. …but why at reception area? Cheek in took too long. The bed was hard. In the morning we wanted to go for breakfast there was no one standing in front of the entrance to ask which room we have stayed. But I saw 45 of the staff at the reception area talking laughing . And I’m sure they saw a tree standing and waiting to go eat but no one even come to us. I had to go and ask can we go eat .? There was not a lot left to eat at 8:40.am .. and breakfast is very poor. Mentioned above

• Hallane Cunha (8/5): Boa - staff simpático e é uma ótima opção para famílias com crianças, pois tem um escorrega no hall do hotel e um espaço kids que as crianças adoram. O wi-fi funciona bem, visto que esse foi o principal motivo para decidirmos sobre essa hospedagem, pois ficamos 10 dias nesse hotel, a trabalhar, por conta da guerra no oriente médio. Tem uma piscina interna (não é aquecida), mas para o calor que faz em bangkok, serve perfeitamente para refrescar. Tivemos um problema com o nosso quarto por conta do barulho de madrugada e foram muito solicitos em nos colocar em outro quarto disponível para conseguirmos dormir. O hotel é um pouco distante do centro do bangkok. O café da manhã tem poucas opções e não é nada de especial.

• Ramiz (9/5): Cozy hotel with mediocre location - The hotel is very cozy, rooms are spacious with beatiful river view, A/C and TV. There's a free water refills on every floor. Bed was really big one and mattress is comfy. The Noise cancelling is good and the location is quiet, however river boats could be pretty noisy if you get a room with river view. The location is quite far from attraction points, center of interests and BTS/subway. There're almost no restaurants/massage salons and bars in the area. The only good thing is that 7/11 is quite close.

• ANDREI (9/5): Приятный отель за адекватные деньги, просторные номера, но требуется ремонт в номерах. - Удачное расположение отеля рядом с госпиталями, достаточно просторные номера. Приятый персонал, особенно в ресторане отеля. Есть бассейн, развлечения для детей. Номера требуют ремонта. Грязноватые стены, дефекты штукатурки, хоть и чисто в целом. Душ не очень удобный - хотелось бы иметь централизованное снабжение горячей водой, а не индивидуальный проточный нагреватель. Также, не очень хорошая звукоизоляция номеров с коридором.

My bedroom had a great view of the waterway. Thank you! Need to clean under the beds too - but not the end of the world as the room was super clean otherwise.

• Susan (8/5): Great staff, good breakfast, liked the space in the room - We had a twin room which was like a little apartment and we liked it a lot. The reception desk staff were really helpful for getting directions to places. We really liked the breakfast - very good. The water is was just outside and really cheap and easy to use. Might be better to stay nearer a metro line as traffic is crazy so it took a while to get around.

Ein automat stellt kostenlose Hygiene Artikel / Badelatschen / Waschmittel zur Verfügung. Man muss sich der Lage bewusst sein. In die Stadt zu den Touristen Spots ist man ca 45 Minuten unterwegs zu den stoßzeiten. Hinter dem hotel fährt aber auch die Bootslinie um dem Verkehr zu entgehen.

• KATEŘINA Meyer (10/5): - Poloha hotelu je vynikající vzhledem k dostupnosti do centra- pohodlně lodí za 17THB, autobusem, vlak na letiště. Bazén byl moc fajn po dni stráveném v rušném městě, snídaně vynikající. Voda zdarma po celou dobu, pračky a sušičky za 40THB k dispozici, či balkón se sušákem. Personál byl velmi profesionální a na požádání jsem dostala exkluzivní snídaňový balíček s sebou, neboť jsem měla velmi brzký ranní let. Doporučuji!
• Jekaterina (7/5): Okay for short stay - Pretty good location, not that far from majority of sights. Spacious room with kitchenette. Pleasant staff. Very poor sound insulation — you can hear all the noises from outside the room. Inside the room, you can also hear everything from the toilet as if there were no door at all. There is a very strong sewage smell in the bathroom. The air conditioner is poorly positioned in the room — the bed closer to the window does not get any cool air.

• Amie (10/5): Adorable hotel only 200m walk to water taxi - There is a lot to like about this hotel: 200 meter walk to the water taxi which is a cheap and quick way to travel east-west across Bangkok FAST. Clean covered pool, sauna in woman’s locker room, lots of space for children to play, environment friendly with reusable water bottles in every room (water dispenser on every floor). Staff are super friendly and the vibe is friendly. My room had bathtub, living area and kitchen with separate bedroom, great view of the canal. I didn’t eat the breakfast but it had fresh fruit, local Thai dishes, breads, salad, infused water, coffee/tea. There’s even a free ice bingsu station on the lobby. The aircon remotes did not work so I couldn’t turn them on or off.

• Robert (7/5): - Duży pokój, kuchnia, łazienka, lodówka, kanapa w dobrym standardzie. Lokalizacja trochę na uboczu miasta ale obok przestani wodnej skąd można łatwo i tanio dostać się do centrum. Kawa z ekspresu. Śniadanie było zupełnie zimne i ogólnie bardzo słabe. Szafy i półki w pokoju przestarzałe i brak wieszaków.

Świetne śniadania z wieloma daniami japońskimi, zdrowych, po południu wybór dań z karty - smacznych i w dobrych cenach. Przestronne pokoje, hotel przyjazny rodzinom. Łóżka wygodne, basen czysty. Personel bardzo pomocny i komunikatywny. W pokoju był nieprzyjemny zapach, który wymagał kilkukrotnego wietrzenia pokoi w ciągu dnia. Suszarka nie dosuszala ubrań w jednym cyklu, co powodowało, że trzeba było zaplanować dłuższy czas na pranie.

• Chinenye (10/5): - Such an enjoyable stay for one night in bangkok - the area is safe, breakfast was really nice (And staff restocked when asked) and there's a 7/11 nearby. There's also a vending machine with lots of free supplies like slippers and laundry detergent! Easily walkable to Asok area. The slide was a fun touch! It's easy-ish to get to the airport (we used a taxi to the metro then got the 30 mins train directly to Suvarnabhumi Airport, I'd recommend if you are looking for somewhere for a couple nights in Bangkok.

И с ветерком 15 мин без пробок до центральной улицы с шопингом и тц. Номер большой. Есть посуда и холодильник с микроволновкой. Чайник и даже кофеварка с 2 капсулами. Очень мило. А горка и детсквя зона понравилась дочке. Уставший номер. Ламинат после потопа прикрыт ковриком.

• Diana (5/5): Overall, our experience was negative: the strong damp smell and outdated condition of the hotel outweighed the positive - I liked that the hotel has a children’s play area — very convenient when traveling with a child. The breakfast was good for its price, and my child could eat for free, which was a nice bonus. The hotel was very clean, with fresh bed linen, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel is quite old, although this is not really mentioned in the reviews or description. The furniture feels worn, there is a noticeable damp smell inside, and when the air conditioner is turned on, there is a strong smell of mold. For a hotel that positions itself as family-friendly, this can be unsafe. The rooms are spacious but would really benefit from renovation. The location was also less convenient than expected — it looks close to the center on the map, but in reality it takes about 45 minutes due to traffic.

• Svetlana (8/5): We still had great time in Kokotel as always despite some drawbacks this time - We always stay at Kokotel and it’s our favourite family hotel in Bangkok. It’s always clean, the rooms are spacious and super comfortable. The breakfast is delicious. Our son loves to play with other kids in the playground. I booked two rooms: one for my family and another for my parents. My parents had an early flight, and they left before breakfast so we asked the receptionist to prepare lunchboxes for them. The breakfast in the hotel is always great and tasty but the lunchboxes were just ridiculous - 1 sausage, 2 tiny pieces of weird sweet omelette, 2 cupcakes, spicy sauce and some lettuce… But what was really upsetting this time is that when we checked out (later than my parents) the receptionist told me that some shampoo bottle from my parents’ room disappeared and she assumed they had taken it. It was so embarrassing to be accused of such a stupid thing. I told my mother later and she said they hadn’t even had shampoo in their room and of course they didn’t take anything.
