• Leanne (4/5): Nice place, just don’t get the small room with booking.com - Booking.com set us up with a very small and poor ventilated room. Would have done better calling the hotel directly for a better rate and better room. Not the hotels fault, but they really should not rent a room without good ventilation. No outlet in the bathroom or near the bed. Only a very small window to open and AC and fan did not ventilate well.

• Ryan (10/5): - We stayed at Holiday Motel for one night but it was excellent. We caught a late Ferry from the Island and wouldn’t get in until very late so I called and Cynthia was very accommodating and helpful and when we arrived it was exactly as she said it would be. Place was very clean and in good shape. Bed was very comfortable and bedding was nice and fresh. Place was updated nicely and had everything one could need and more. Close to the highway and tucked nicely in the beautiful surrounding forest. Highway recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat. We stayed on the Island for 4 days previously in a chain hotel and the place was pretty bad with mold and mice running around. Holiday motel blew this place out of the water for a small family owned older motel. It just goes to show where the real quality and service is these days. Thank you Cynthia and Holiday Motel in Hope. BC !

• Trudy (7/5): Good - We booked here not to camp but we needed a place to stay for a wedding When we arrived there was a family group playing games in the picnic area....this made us wish we had come to camp and spend time with our family! We were upgraded to a cabin. Bed was very nice. Room was clean except for cobwebs which had caught small moths up high on the wall. Towels were dark, which isn't my favorite thing.

Wish it had been a longer stay! The suite was mildly dirty - cobwebs, the floors were a bit sticky in some areas, dusty spots but overall, an enjoyable experience. The area is GORGEOUS too!

The gentleman a check in was extremely helpful as for some bizarre reason Expedia had cancelled my reservation even though it was confirmed via both email and text and in my calendar. He texted Expedia and they replied that the reservation had been cancelled. Anyhow, he found me a room on a busy, sold out weekend, and I was extremely pleased. Great customer service! Room was extremely clean and quiet and motel grounds were lovely.

They only accept credit card but made an exception. Which was very kind of them. The room was clean. Comfy beds. Towels were fluffy. I would definitely bring my family back. The motel has a very cabin like feel. 10/10

• Greg (8/5): To much - The only disappointment was the quality of the room. Ridiculously small one ceiling light. Tin table beside bed and no lamp. The bed was great with nice pillows. What upsets me most is $149 before tax to sleep in a small box. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful area, especially with the fall back drop. My second time staying here and I will definitely use again if needed in future.
• Judith (4/5): - This property is very old and run down. Looks like it hasn’t been changed since the fifties. The room was very small and you could hear noise all night long from surrounding units. Not at all worth the price they are charging. The room did seem clean, just not worth the money.

Location was nice and quiet which was exactly what we wanted. The lady at the front desk was very nice and a pleasure to deal with. We had beds for 4 but only two towels. Absolutely no where to hang anything in the bathroom!! The only place to put anything when you shower is on the sink or the toilet. So if you want to use the sink... the toilet becomes your only option. :(

• Verified traveler (2/5): Were we in a different hotel than everyone else? - Our experience was much different than most reviews. Maybe we were given an overflow room. We were warned it might smell like “smoke”. But that was definitely not smoke! I don’t know what it was but it was awful. My pyjamas wreaked so much that even after airing them out I couldn’t get the smell out. The ceilings were water stained and there were beetles in the room. Trying to get to the outlet behind the headboard my husband said the floor was a mess. He didn’t want to tell me because I was already grossed out. The worst was the mice in the walls that entertained us all night. Never staying here again.

The pillows were too high and too firm for my liking and the availability of outlets to charge a phone or plug in hair dryer was awkward. The shower was beautiful! But Ithought the bed was comfortable and as there were no neighbors on either side quiet. Did not hear highway noise or train. So overall pleased with my 1- night stay.

It's an older Motel but the room was very clean and had nice fluffy white duvets just like you'd get at a higher end hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

• Ingrid (8/5): Very Comfortable and Clean - The hotel was more than we expected. We travel with our 2 teenager kids, so when I did the reservation I said 3 adults. We were expecting 2 beds but instead our room had 3 beds in 2 different rooms with a share bathroom. It was really perfect. They have a mobile air conditioning and a big TV in one of the rooms. We stayed 2 nights and we sleep quite comfortable. The only complaint was than they didn't give us shampoo on the second day, which I guess we could have asked, but it's too late when you are already taking a shower. The swimming pool is small but warm water so we spend couple hours there.
• Verified traveler (4/5): You get what you pay for. - Didn't understand why they put a late check in right next door to us when there was many other rooms available. The walls are very thin so we could here everything the gentleman did and said when he was on the phone or when he watched tv from 2:30am to 5:00am.
• sid (8/5): No frills need a sleep, this is the place - If you are looking for a simple no frills place to rest, this is great! Excellent value, friendly, clean room (washroom mirror needs to be replaced). Overall great and would stay again.

The room was too small for luggages. Cracks on the toilet seat and no curtain for the bathroom window. Killed a fly in our room. The hosts were friendly.

• Wayne (6/5): Good for the dollar value. - We were greeted in a friendly manner. You get what you pay for correct. This is no 5 star motel. But I'll tell you this, the rooms were clean and the bed sheets had not been previously used. The pool was clean and the owner/manager was testing it for PH after everyone had cleared out for the night. The rooms are aged as is the motel, but to me cleanliness is what counts. I'd recommend this for overnighting or even for families with kids, pool, playground etc.
• cherie (4/5): Nice motel but very loud on bottom floor. - This is a cute place, however, we stayed on the bottom floor and had a family above us. We were awaken at 4:25 by loud voices, loud footsteps, there 2 big dogs and doors opening and closing. The noise was terrible. I also didn't like the idea of people's dogs being able to run around (some with no leases on), I'm sure this was not allowed but it happened. Dog poop was on the grass in many areas. My kids are allergic to dogs and and a fear of big ones so it was a bit frustrating on that part. Other then that, it was a nice place.
• Alison (8/5): Great basic place - If you just need a place to lay your head at night There is no better value for your money. Keeping in mind that this is an RV park, it's a clean and suitable room for a basic stay. The pool is an added bonus, was clean and my 5 year old enjoyed it a lot. If you need consistent Internet, a desk, whirlpool tub and cushy decor, you will need to look elsewhere- and pay twice as much
