- Judith (8/5): Reasonable place to spend the night! - Conviently located. Clean! Staff friendly and helpful! I found bed and pillow uncomfortable! T V difficult to run.
- Cheryl (9/5): Great stay- a little rundown.. Kleenex holder in bathroom was rusted… a lot of wear and tare on the door. Minor cosmeti - Near freeway
- Michelle (7/5): Would def stay here again. - It was cozy and gave a home away from home vibe!
- Kellie (10/5): -
- Joel (10/5): - Breakfast was more than expected. Staff was exceptionally courteous and kind
- Lisa (4/5): Ok for a stop over but would not return - The location, close to downtown. The room was quiet. Breakfast was good The bed (mattress) was horrible. The room needed to be updated. Old and faded bedding.
- Paul (5/5): - No coffee in the rooms and none in lobby until 6am
- Richard (9/5): Très bien - Très bon déjeuner et personnel sympathique

- Christopher (9/5): All in all, I'd recommend it, especially for just passing through. Great staff. - All of the people at the front desk were so friendly and very helpful, going out of the way to accommodate us with our individual needs. The continental breakfast was good, the parking is perfect and the location to the ferry was great. There was some rust on the side of the bathtub and the lighting was a bit dim, but the beds, microwave, refrigerator, and the fact you could open the windows for fresh air were great. I'd recommend it, especially for just passing through.
- Dennis (5/5): - The beds were very hard and uncomfortable
- Janet (6/5): Clean, comfortable room and friendly staff. - Location was good. Breakfast was fine for a continental breakfast. Rooms are clean and comfortable enough, but could use updating.
- Sylvain (9/5): Personnel très gentil et l'hôtel était très propre. -
- Doughty (10/5): Perfect overnight convenient stop - Convenient to the highway, clean, included breakfast , near amenities in town like gas stations and restaurants. No coffee pot in the room and
No smart tv, but not a big deal. There was coffee in the lobby.
- Patrick (10/5): -
- Dino (10/5): - clean place, friendly staff

- Sally (8/5): Great transit hotel. Comfortable and efficient. - Clean; hot shower; good hair dryer; comfy bed; good continental style breakfast.

- Susan (10/5): - CHARMING, CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE .
3rd time here- We love this Hotel!!!!
- Elizabeth (8/5): - A great stop with our dog en route to St. Stephen border crossing. St. George is a cute seaside town between big city Saint John, and upscale resort St. Andrew by the Sea. The property is a family run (not chain) hotel, very nicely maintained but not super modern. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast was serviceable.
- Darlene (8/5): - Convenient location and very nice continental breakfast.
- Veneca (10/5): - Clean and friendly. Nice simple breakfast.
- Brian (10/5): - The location was great for my stay, I could walk downtown in 5 minutes. The staff were very nice. The room has cable TV, mini fridge and microwave, though it is showing its age.
The continental breakfast hit the spot for me and I liked the coffee.
- Aren (10/5): -
- VIADEL (8/5): - Great place for a night or two. A little small but very clean and well decorated. Attentive hostess!
- Val (6/5): - It was clean, it was good enough
- Simon (8/5): - Old fashion motel with very basic breakfast.
- Fred (10/5): - The toilets are old and much too low for this senior and anyone who has knee issues
- Lionel (6/5): - location
- Terry (8/5): - I recently stayed at the Granite Town Hotel and had an overall pleasant experience. The standout feature was definitely the staff – everyone I interacted with was incredibly helpful and genuinely friendly, which made a big difference in the quality of my stay.
The hotel room itself was a bit dated and could use some refreshing, but honestly, that added to the charm of an overnight stay. It felt cozy and had a bit of character, which I appreciated.
The location is excellent – just a short drive to town, making it super convenient for dining, shopping, or just exploring the area.
My only real complaint was the bed. It was advertised as a Sleep Number bed, but it definitely wasn’t – and it was far too soft for my comfort. A better bed would have made this a near-perfect stay.
Overall, if you're looking for great service, a convenient location, and a touch of old-school charm, Granite Town Hotel is worth considering. Just be ready for a soft bed!
- Brian (10/5): - Nice quiet hotel. Most comfortable beds!! Great location.
- Donald (8/5): - Room was clean..,plenty of hot water..staff friendly. And good location. The bed was too soft ..couldn't get a good night sleep.
- Karen (10/5): - Rooms were nice and clean, comfortable beds, nice breakfast, staff were so friendly
- Debbie (8/5): - Was disappointed that there were no coffee available in the room or down stairs
- Maggie (8/5): -
- Sherri (10/5): Very nice place to stay - Very quiet and clean
- Amaranath (10/5): - Quite, friendly staff with good breakfast, we were delayed to check-in cause flight delay and staff helped to checkin at 2am
- Robert (8/5): -
- Clement (10/5): -
- Marcel (10/5): Séjour acceuillant - Propreté et déjeuner Pas d’ascenseur
- Cherie (2/5): - The front desk attendants were helpful and courteous. The continental breakfast was okay. But the rooms were NOT up to any standard that I could see! The smell as we entered the room was musty so thought if we turned on the A/C and put on the fan we could atleast get some fresh air, that made it worse!! There were hairs on the bathroom floor and around the side of the tub (not belonging to me or my bf). Glad they didnt charge us for the 2 other guests...a spider and a large centipede in the tub! This will be the last time we ever stay in this location!! Do yourself a favor and pay a bit extra for a more upscale place in St. Andrews!!
- edward (8/5): - It was exactly what we needed, right off the highway dog friendly and clean.
- Anna DM (8/5): -
- Patricia (10/5): - Very clean, and friendly. I would definitely go back to this hotel.
- Bruce (8/5): Overall a good experience! - Bedroom was a good size . No grab bars in the shower.
- Danny (6/5): It is an ok hotel. - Clean , great location.. The breakfast was not great, it’s an old hotel that requires a full update.
- Yong (10/5): - Good hotel
- AMINE MESSAOUD (10/5): -
- Roger (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay and the staff were helpful and friendly. We appreciated all the surrounding green space to take our dogs on walks. My suggestions are to have fresh brewed decaf coffee and less sugary cereal (bran flakes). The banana bread was excellent.
- David (9/5): -
- Gladys Bartlett (8/5): Good value - Pet friendly.. Excellent staff.
No No elevator to second floor
- Thomas (8/5): - Clean and well maintained. Our room was very hot so we had to keep the air conditioner on all night which was quite noisy. Basic continental style breakfast.
- Hall (7/5): Very helpful staff, the room was generally clean but bathroom needed repairs - Friendly staff. Room was clean. Bathroom sink did not drain well at all and the fixtures like shelf and totter paper were all rusty and the bathtub shower curtain was dirty, mildew stains and needed to be replaced
- Melissa (6/5): - Staff were wonderful. The interior could really use an upgrade. There was lime growing on the toilet paper holder. There was toothpaste smeared under the tap faucet. My friends room had a brown smear stain on the bedspread. And we struggled with our toilet not flushing which was very embarrassing.
- Chris (10/5): - Quaint and cozy, good breakfast and helpful staff.
- Lisa (8/5): - Bed was a bit soft but overall a finr place to stay
- Frank (10/5): - Area was quite, hotel was clean and staff friendly. It was a short walk into town to grab some dinner and a drink. Great place to stay if you are in the area.
- Guy (10/5): - Très belle hôtel. Bien situé.
- Marcel (8/5): -
- Ana (10/5): - Nice
- Linda (10/5): Stay was very enjoyable. Not far from everything we had planned for our weekend trip. - Breakfast was good. Would have liked to have more options for people with diabetes. Eggs maybe. There was nothing we didn't like.
- AGNES (8/5): -
- shannon (6/5): - location and quick access to Blacks Harbour and Grand Manan ferry. It took a long time for us to check in.
The toilet didn't flush.
- Douglas (4/5): - If you are interested in this property because of how cute all the pictures look, you will likely be disappointed. We stayed in the family suite, which is really set up like a honeymoon suite. It even has a big tub right next to the bed, and a table for two in the corner of the room. It was probably really great - in 1985. The whole place is really old, really dingy, and all of the common areas as well as our room had the thick smell of that familiar combination of old cigarette smoke and the products that motels use to cover it up. I'm sure that if I had used a rug cleaner on any carpet in the place the water would have come up black. And we paid a pretty penny for the experience, too. There aren't many lodging options in this part of the world, so you may choose to stay here anyway. But be prepared.
- Scott (10/5): - We were happy with the hotel, breakfast and staff. Will definitely stay again
- Sara (8/5): - Great stop on our way to Nova Scotia. Hotel is a bit old/dated and could use some updates. Breakfast was wonderful!
- George (10/5): Friendly place - Really friendly group. Room was great, we were not used to a queen sized bed but worked out well. Breakfast was wonderful even without eggs and meat.
St George is centered between several small towns and harbors so we had lots of activity to keep us interested.
- Hilary (10/5): Wonderful - This is a wonderful non-chain motel. Immaculate, comfortable bed, spacious rooms. Will stay there again!
- John (10/5): - The staff at Granite Town Hotel are among the most accommodating we’ve ever met. They have gone above and beyond the expected to make our stay very comfortable, and have done so with smiles and good humor. The town is charming, and there’s a cute pub within walking distance. Highly recommend for their warm hospitality.
- Rebecca (10/5): - Charming hotel near St. Andrews by the Sea. Rooms are excellnet, beautifully decorated and old world charm. Clean , nice breakfast. Overall great atay
- Adam (10/5): - Great place to stay
- Carolin (8/5): -
- Laurie (10/5): - It’s clean, very dated, beds are ok. Staff are lovely
- Helen (10/5): - Very friendly, helpful check in. The room was lovely, very comfortable bed. Continental breakfast was adequate - tea/coffee, cereal, toast, bagels, yogurt, fruit, juice.
- Dorothy Janet (8/5): - Close to ferry, clean, nice breakfast My husband is disabled and getting in and out of tub was difficult. They need safety bars on tub.
- Treesa (2/5): - Room smell was terrible. Mattress was sinking in the middle. Price is too high for the facility they providing. Not a good place for rest and relax.
- serge (7/5): Hôtel vieux et à rénover - Eau et café disponible en tout temps Matelas trop vieux et trop mous.
Hôtel vieux et à rénover
- Richard (8/5): - Staff helpful and friendly. The overall condition is dated but clean and good sized room.
- Peterson (10/5): Our Amazing stay in St George. Loved it... - I loved the location and the staff was amazing and kind. Can't say anything negative. It was great overall. 😊 Thank you so much. I hope to stay again.
- Ross (8/5): - Very friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms. Very good continental breakfast. There wasn't anything.
- Carol (10/5): - I really enjoyed talking to the check-in staff and the bed was super comfy. The hotel is just a short walk to several great restaurant choices and the quaint downtown area. All walkable.
- Cecilia (10/5): - Come to New Brunswick for our nephew's wedding. We arrived early and got to spend two nights at this hotel and loved it. Beautiful location and beautiful property.
