- Zeeshan (1/5): Owner is Worst person - Hello, I am writing to formally report a dangerous and traumatizing incident involving my family at the Harrison Spa Motel (Reservation 6195019433). This was not merely a poor customer service experience; it was a life-threatening situation that forced us to flee for our safety. My family and I arrived at the property around 12:00 AM. I was traveling with my wife and our three children, including my 2.5-year-old daughter. After our calls, texts, and doorbells went ignored, the owner finally emerged from Room 00 at 12:40 AM. He was severely intoxicated and immediately became hostile. The situation escalated into a life-and-death scenario for me. He used abusive language, told us to leave, and then physically charged at us in an attempt to hit me and my family. As a heart patient who has undergone triple bypass surgery, the extreme stress and physical threat of this confrontation put my life at serious risk. I called the police at 12:44 AM. When officers arrived, they advised that the safest course of action was to leave the property immediately. Because it was the middle of the night and no other safe accommodations were available, we were forced to drive all the way back to Surrey in a state of shock, with my children terrified and my youngest daughter crying the entire way. It is reckless and negligent to have a property listed where the owner is a physical threat to guests. I am holding you responsible for the following: Immediate Full Refund: I expect a total reversal of all charges for this failed and dangerous reservation. Safety Investigation: This owner's violent behavior must be addressed to prevent another family from being put in danger. Account Credit/Compensation: For the gas, the grueling drive back to Surrey, and the severe emotional and physical distress caused to my family and my own fragile health. I have a police report on file and expect an immediate response regarding how you intend to rectify this Everything

While booking through Booking.com, I requested for a lake view room. I was responded that, it will be only possible once I arrive, depending on availability. When I arrived at the Motel, I made the same request and learned the room is already booked. I felt like receiving differential behavior towards different customers.

It was just right in front of the lagoon. It also has a nice Ice cream store and resto just at the entrance which gives you discount if you are staying in the hotel. Oh... its not much... but i guess the parking fee. To park inside the compound of the Hotel has a charge while in the public street is free. Considering the price, i think it is best that the parking fee should be waived.

Did not partake, and it was inconvenient not to have the microwave. I washed dishes before using them, as some glasses weren't cleaned properly. The doors appear to not have been washed in years, I've never had that much dirt buildup at home, so who knows. Ants showed up in the bathroom the day we left, I forgot to notify them about that.

The motel itself is a bit dated but the paint is fresh, the linens are nice, the rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Plus it's a great location and the attached restaurants (where you get a discount) are also really good. Highly recommend.

Dirty: The worst part was the cleanliness. Straight away we noticed the carpet floor with dirt that could have been easlily removed with a vacuum. The face towels were covered with something orange-yellowish. My wife cleaned her face with one of them before noticing which she found disgusting. The second towel was the same after checking. Noise: Extremely noisy! We could hear every step and conversation happening upstairs. People were making noises at 2am in the morning. They do offer earplugs if you read their instructions but this should be something provided on each room without having to get up at 2am in the morning to pick them up in reception. Place: Even if it is a motel, the place could look so much better.

Those who stayed upstairs made a lot of noise - watching TV, running and talking during the whole night. It is better to advise the guests not to make noise after midnight to respect others.

- Braeana (6/5): - Motel is very close to the beautiful lake, but our room wasn’t necessarily :( our room door walked out into the back dumpster area and parked cars (as inches between an open door of a parked car directly in front of your room door??). The bed was comfy and clean, clean bathroom, a large fridge and we at least had a microwave and kettle. We stayed in Harrison last weekend at “Harrison Lake Hotel”.. it was NOT clean, especially their bathroom. We enjoyed having a discount at the burger place.. we actually had breakfast and dinner there, the burger (and the service at dinner time) was much better than the breakfast/ service at their breakfast. The burger was very good! The staff at the motel were very friendly. The room was tiny and the walls are so thin! I could hear everything going on in every unit around me.. on both sides and above me because we were on the ground floor. The room felt extremely cramped.. but, like I said, was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. Would I stay again? I’m not sure.. I think I will be trying a few stays in Harrison to find my favourite; I don’t think I’ve found it yet! Overall, I liked Harrison Spa Motel a lot more than Harrison Lake Hotel.. despite the Spa Motel being a motel, and not a hotel.

Had a problem with the shower (excessively hot water) but in the end hotel staff sorted it; stairwell to the room was very steep and potentially dangerous.
