We called several times to ask about not having any hot water and about the mold and mildew in iur bathroom. They kept saying somone would come but no one ever came. After three days of freezing water we were told that the hotel could not help us with the cold water. They did not offer to change us rooms evdn after we told them that we had a sick child that couod not bathe in the cold water. Very careless staff crew.

Food was terrible, twice received rotten chicken and curried goat, led to vomiting and diarrhea to my partner. Staff unprofessional and unhelpful when I sought assistance for my partner. I couldn't wait to end my disastrous weekend and vacate the hotel. My partner and I didn't even eat breakfast prior to checking out. Never again!!!

• Verified traveler (10/5): - The air conditioning was working i was transfer to an another room the air conditioning was fine but the bed was two twins bed I was not comfortable my wife and I was not too happy about it order than that everything was great

• Verified traveler (4/5): - Mosquitoes like crazy, food selection was limited, if you're older, it was a very young crowd, water pressure was low, driver for shuttle was rude and garbage was on beach. They did clean beach the morning after and the location was beautiful. Staff was attentive.

If you have early morning thirst or late night thirst like me, you pretty much screwed. Was told numerous times only housekeeping provide the room with bottle water and there hours of operation is not 24hrs. I was forced to drink there fountain water although they claimed its clean water my stomach for the next few days would say otherwise

Sony, Francisco and Jeff are a great trio. They provide great customer service and are excellent at encouraging guest to join the daily activities at the hotel.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - My stay at the hotel was very pleasant. Most of the staff is quite nice, helpful and welcoming; a few were a little hard to deal with and rude. I must note however that they were interns. The food is plentiful; there are 3 restaurants and you get breakfast, lunch and dinner with snacks available in between at the main one. The other two are "à la carte" but do not expect portions to be very large; you can order the same dishes or other multiple timea though. My one complaint is that they have no real food or drink options for diabetics or people on low sugar diets (not even diet coke/pepsi or other soft drinks which is a bit odd). The chef did arrange for my wife and I to get sugar-free natural juice which was nice but on one occasion an employee served us canned peach juice she claimed had no sugar; all in all I would recommend packing your own drinks of you cannot have sugar. The evening shows are somewhat entertaining and get repetitive but are a decent way to kill time. I will definitely book again.

Nobody was picking up the plastic cups, straws, and food boxes which littered the lounge chairs and beach front. Broken glass, even a flip flop littered the grass areas near the main bar. Not a great image to project for an international resort.

• jacqueline (6/5): Decent stay - The check in process was slow and long. No order at all. I’m a big foodie and the quality of food there was really low. The food could’ve been prepared way better. The Haitian food didn’t taste authentic. No seafood was served in the buffets. They require guest to make restaurant reservations the morning of by 8-9 am. We were there for 1 night and could never reach anyone, prior to our arrival, to make restaurant reservations. The food was nothing compared to the days when it was called Club Med. My husband caught food poisoning the afternoon of our departure. The property was clean. The beach was beautiful but some what violent at times, so take precaution. The water also gets deep really quick so don’t venture off too far if you’re not a good swimmer. Watch out for the guys on the little boats. We scored 2 lobster tail meals for $30 each from one of those guys on the boats. It tasted delicious and the serving size were generous. Those lobsters were the best thing we ate there. We enjoyed the gym and it’s beautiful view of the tranquil waters. The bars offer unlimited drinks but the selection is slim. I recommend the fruit punch with rum. You won’t be disappointed. We tried to stay an extra day and the Manager didn’t even look in the computer. She just uttered “there’s no rooms available” as if she was a computer programmed to say the same thing everyday. If you have a 1 night stay and decide to stay an additional day it won’t be possible. Therefore, plan accordingly.

Beach and water were clear and beautiful just as photos suggest, although due to general littering there is a lot of trash on the beach. Pool was was refreshing but not vacuumed or cleaned. Nightly shows were great. Food and drinks were great. Great property if you like travel off the beaten path and want to experience Haiti with some comfort. Security was great from airport pick up to drop off. Officers always visible. Overall an average resort but still glad I had the experience to go.

• Emily (8/5): - The property is excellent. Great value for your money. One thing I would like to mention: when we made reservations at the seafood restaurant, There was hardly any seafood. It was quite basic. Also, there were a number of little children running around, crying and making lots of noise. The families were playing nursery songs and video games that increased the noise level. I think this is not a place for children as people who make reservations there are looking g for a special evening with an ambiance for a quite And delicate evening. Also because the spots to dine there are limited, it sort of is waste to have children just running around with no appreciation.

No aquatic sport, club at night, and the vibe was different. As far as food I can’t complain. Hopefully, next time is better and without Covid 19.

• Natacha (8/5): - I liked it. A nuce stay. The only thing that only thing that would make it perfect is if they had more variety of drinks and juices. If you come to Haiti you don't want artificial fruit juices and the same wine everyday. They need to include grenadia juice, korosol juice , lemonade juice, even watermelon juice. Every day they had artificial fruit punch. Thats not what people want to drink if they come to a tropical island.
• Jennifer (6/5): - The staff was super friendly (including the front desk), beach was kept clean, comfy beds, food was always fresh and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. The rooms needed some updating (water leaking from air conditioner, water dripping from light in bathroom, no dressers, sloppy repaint job (no big deal), T.V. picture was horrible (dark with light spots), food was yummy but it got very boring after awhile, music at pool was trashy (lyrics about pussy's and provocative language) sometimes, there really isn't much to do at the resort unless you pay for extra excursions. The island really doesn't have much to go visit and if there is it's almost too dangerous to travel at certain times. Swimming on the beach was beautiful but the men in canoes trying to sell you things are pesty and annoying, but I guess that just part of Haiti culture. Over all I would come again but definitely stay here again but not for 8 night like we did. Maybe 4 or 5 nights will be sufficient for us next time.
