Guest Reviews
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Friendly check in person.
- James (10/5): - Yes parking your car here is very safe, and the Fern Cafe across the street has really good food 😁
- mick (8/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff
- Steven (4/5): - Room was clean.front desk did not care that the heater in bedroom did not. And there was No hot water for my morning shower
- Frederick (8/5): - Walls could of been a little more thicker, insulated. A little more personal phone, table lamp.
- M (8/5): - It is a little tricky getting across traffic to make a left hand turn out of the parking lot.
- Robert (6/5): - Ok place to stay
- Gordon (4/5): - Table was wobbly. Toilet set was loose . Bed was too hard. No hair dryer.
- David (8/5): - A little pricey for the actual accommodations but a good location, really good TV, and a very good Asian restaurant (literally) right next door. Id stay there again.
- Scott (2/5): - There was nothing redeeming about this property. Do not book here! The room was dirty, the parking lot was loud at night, there was no hairdryer, no night stand, or adequate TV. the bed was light sleeping on plywood!
- Dalia (6/5): - Thank you
- Bren (6/5): - The building is obviously old, but the room was clean and smelled fresh. The bath towels are very small and thin, and there were not many provided. The bed is quite uncomfortable, and pillows too thick, so we did not sleep well at all. The environment was eh, seemed like maybe some folks live there full time? The front desk staff were pleasant. If I brought my own pillow, I would stay here again if needed.
- Amanda (6/5): Has character - The hotel was older but for me it didnt matter. There was wallpaper peeling in places and the laminate on the headboard of the bed was torn too. The knob for the bathroom sink easily came off in my hand but I was able to put it back on. The bathroom door had a hard time closing and there was false drapes on the window leaving only a pull down blind for privacy. Could definately use some updating. But for 1 night stay, it wasnt bad.
- Jason (4/5): Well, I’ve been in worse. - Stayed for 1 night for a family trip. I usually don’t mind older hotels if they are maintained well and clean. I did not feel like this was the case here. The property was generally run down and due for a makeover. The cleaning efforts were ok but the shower curtain was pretty gross. It kind of felt like a bare minimum kind of place. It worked in a pinch but I would not be looking to stay here again.
- Scott (10/5): - Friendly staff, rooms look a lot better than the photos on Expedia and their website.
- James (10/5): - Friendly staff and clean room 😁
- Mohammad (2/5): - Dirty rooms no parking old furniture
- Mark (6/5): - Run down
- Jesse (2/5): - First room was put in the flooring was coming up and it smelled of mild dew. Second room was a little better.
- Laura (4/5): - Nails were sticking out of threshold of bathroom doorway. Spots on the walls
- keith d (6/5): - Close to everything.
- James (10/5): - Nice clean room 😃
- Virginia (8/5): - Nothing special sorry
- Janice (10/5): - Great
- Verified traveler (4/5): Don’t stay here - There were mice in the room. TV did not work. For $180/night, we expected better.
- Peggy (6/5): Western Royal Inn - I had requested 2 queen beds and there was a big miss communication between the hotel staff prior to my visit which caused us to be in an ADA room which was the worst thing possible. The person who sent me the email and told me they put me in an ADA room did not inform me that there were not 2 queen beds and that there was only 1 and a pull-out bed that was the worst ever. This hotel does have some slightly good points as its family friendly and takes dogs. If the hotel could renovate the rooms this would help.
- Kao (8/5): - The hotel itself was fine but the walls are thin. A couple in an adjecent room decided to have a romp at nearly 4am and lasted for over an hour 😅 there are families that stay here and have to listen to their shenanigans. The noise was loud enough to wake us up and we weren't even right next to them..
- Laquinna (2/5): - I wouldn’t stay at this property again
- Carlos (10/5): - A bit dated but, well kept and clean. Very nice firm bed. The room is spacious with a nice couch and coffee table where we had our meals and coffee. Front desk was very helpful. Good for a couple or small family or four. We visited the Tillamook creamery, dairy farms, Munson water fall and light house on the cost line.Had grate time visiting the area.
- Vicki (6/5): - Property is just OK for the price but it is very noisy. Earplugs are recommended.
- Scott (6/5): - Loved how clean the room is. A little noisy but to be expected due to location on the highway. Beds were hard, but rooms were cleaner than many nicer hotels I have stayed in.
- Ashley (10/5): - Nice
- Kristina (8/5): Good out stop - Good basic over night stay. Great food truck across the road
- Hector (10/5): - Its always good to travel and stay where you feel comfortable 😊
- Sharlette (2/5): - Didn't like that that there was a big gap at bottom of door the corners at floor were rotted. Constantly hearing rod traffic all night. Constantly hearing the people obove sounding like they were stomping all night. The beds were horrible.
- Ahliae (10/5): - Clean, comfortable, and affordable rates
- Jack (10/5): - Noisy street
- Luke (4/5): - Room was fine for a cheaper 1 night stay but the hotel staff goofed and accidentally scheduled a maintenance crew to come into my room two and a half hours before check out. I was laying in bed when a man unlocked and opened the door. Massive invasion of privacy.
- Mithil (8/5): - Had a very Comfortable stay. Room was clean and all the necessity items were already present in the room.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Mediocre - The floors weren't very clean.
- Shalaina (6/5): - Property was a little run down. Pipes in bathroom made an awful racket while shower was on. Room furnishings had covers on all of the. Box spring for bed was made of plywood. No chain on door…
- Jeff (6/5): Average place to stay - Room's didn't look like pictures. Pretty loud right off the highway. It is close to a few places to eat. They did give me my request of a top floor corner room, but the smoking bench was right outside it.
- Megan (10/5): - Easy check in. Very friendly front desk staff. Clean room. Great price for what you get. Would definitely stay again.
- Sunshine (8/5): - Excellent location! Extremely good service from the staff. Beds were very comfortable.
- John (8/5): - Very comfortable room. Coffee and tea available. Got to have coffee in am. Comfortable bed. Concern with ac/heater unit not closed off to outside air flow. Will stay again.
- Rikki (8/5): - You can tell they are working hard to update the facility
- Norberto (8/5): - The Hotel fits the characteristics of a 1 Star Hotel
- Denise (2/5): - It was a slum! I don't think expedia should promote places like this!
- Megan (4/5): - I guess you get what you pay for. There was a big gap under the door. The walls were dirty and someone poured coffee down the drain but didn’t bother to rinse it out. Everything in the room is falling apart. The dressers, headboard, and wall paper are all peeling very badly and the floor was bubbling like there was water damage under them. The staff was nice enough but I would definitely pick a different place next time I’m visiting Tillamook.
- Stephen (6/5): - A budget hotel and it was about what we thought.
- Abida (8/5): - Management were awesome but I could smoke smell in the room overall I didn't mind continue staying there thank you so much God Almighty blessings
- Rhea (10/5): - It was clean, quiet and conveniently located.
- Joi (8/5): - Trying to be a good place for bargain hunters. Appreciate the effort and would stay again.
- Jinni (6/5): - Cheap price. It would be great to have slippers and hair drier though.
- Jennifer (10/5): - It was a great quiet place clean and very comfortable
- Marianne (8/5): - This place fit the bill for a night, but it seemed like this place is going through changes of upgrading. A little disappointed!
- jeff (4/5): - little old
- Sandy (10/5): - Loved the bed & the room colors
- Jake (6/5): - It was pretty average but I'm grateful.I liked it I love tillamook
- Chi Hung (2/5): - Price not cheap in this area and traffic too noise. Noise from other unit and hard to get sleep. No sound insulation, but room clean and friendly service.
- Tim (4/5): - They have tried to upgrade the property but it is very apparent that the facility is very old. The flooring on the external walkways is visibly worn and the exterior appears to have been painted within the past year but only covers old materials. The floor in my room was never swept. Walking across the room covered my socks or feet in dirt. There are other things that I can say but not enough space in this to cover them all.
- Julie (8/5): - Had to change rooms because husband needs a good tv...it did not work. Nice ofc lady tried to fix. Moved to another room. Tv was much smaller than any tvs we have seen in hotels and harder for him to see from bed. But he did not want to move again. Tv worked
- Dale (8/5): - Room was clea
- Barton (8/5): - the price.
- Mario (10/5): - Very nice place
- Patricia (6/5): - Carpet was stained. Ceiling had spots. Chairs were covered with a material that didn't fit the room. Several minor repairs would help the looks. Stairs to upper floor were difficult for most elderly people. Did have a smoking area but there wasn't any container to put the ashes or cigarettes butts in.
- Mario (10/5): - Great service
- Dale (8/5): - Old and close to highway but clean and comfortable. Convenient and cost effective.
- WILLIAM (6/5): - Need replacement
- matthew (10/5): - wifi is slow but 5 stars fosho
- Daniel (8/5): - Good value, nothing fancy.
- Rosemary (8/5): - Older hotel. Clean. Staff friendly. Good for a one night
- Donald (10/5): - Great place in the heart of Tillamook. Close to everthing.
- Georg (6/5): - Passable accommodation.
- Mason (10/5): - Very quiet area, the room was spacious, had great temperature control, a comfy bed, and all staff were extremely kind and welcoming!
- Sue (10/5): Affordable Getaway 💗 - The room was clean and comfortable, just right for our 1-night stay. I loved the color scheme, simple and calming. Our room’s handicapped accessibility was much appreciated! It was relatively quiet. The location is great, close to shopping and restaurants.
- Patrick (8/5): - It is convenient and easy to find. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Not a resort, but good for a 1 or 2 night visit.
- Noah (10/5): - Safe quiet and convenient, a great place to stay
- Gareth (6/5): - Roadside motel, so some noise expected, but not too bad if room towards back.
Out of town, so walking to anywhere is not really an option.
Place could do with a refurb.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Floors were not clean. Sticky and not swept in the corners or along the walls. Other than the floors being dirty, the room was nice. We were in a non-smoking room but it was right next to the smoking area of the motel.
- DScott (6/5): - No one called me back
The bathroom was dirty.
It was quiet
- James (6/5): - Room was clean and comfortable. Lots of construction workers outside smoking. Very thin walls to hear the showers and toilets. Other guests were quiet enough coming and going.
- Samantha (8/5): - Quick overnight stop while driving the Oregon coast. Best price in the area, but more expensive than I felt I was getting value for. Comfortable, clean, room and friendly staff.
- Joann (6/5): - This property is very old and tired. The room was spacious but only one nightstand and it was on the side without a power outlet. The lighting was also odd. One wall light near the bed and the switch for it was by the door. Goofy.
- Darryn (8/5): - Front desk was very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Also it was reasonably quiet considering it was right on the highway. Not much in the area to do but plenty within driving distance. Property is dated, but definitely fine as a place to sleep.
- Douglas (8/5): - It was good but some of the tenants were being loud at 1:30 am this morning
- Rolland (6/5): Below average hotel - Toilet ran all the time, beds were uncomfortable.and needed more pillows and more comfy chairs, also needed more towles in the bathroom
- Patricia (10/5): - Like washing my clothes and the barge Area in mybroom
- Ralph (10/5): - I was able to check in early due to my attending an event that afternoon.
The room was ready, clean, and very comfortable.
Early check-in allowed me to dress for the afternoon occasion in my own room.
Fantastic!!
- Gerald (8/5): - On busy highway. Nice room good bed.some prem. Chanel cable. Close to everything.
- Brandon (4/5): - Close to the beach and restaurants.... tv remote was disgusting, ac/heat unit had old fries and spit sunflower seeds in it and smelled terribly when turned on.
- PAUL (10/5): - Staff was friendly, room was clean and serviced daily.
- Michele (6/5): - Dated, not spic and span. Didn’t love this one, but it fit the budget and we were fine.
- Edwin (10/5): - Well, I think about it the room We stay one night in the hotel with my kid and we like it it’s all right. We ran the Deltal because we all want to come back to Home in the same night and Hotel is close to the Rockaway Beach like 20 minutes away and we have a very nice pictures I like it and that was the thing I like the price is good, right👍👍👍
- Scott (10/5): - Rooms were old but had a lot of character. I had one of the best night's sleep one night. It was very quiet.
- Antonio (6/5): - The motel was a little dingy and for some reason the parking lot smelled like a livestock event. I think that might have been a one off, since by the morning the smell, while still present, was improved. Rooms are the bare minimum and nothing extra special.
- Meghann (8/5): - Quite tired hotel, but rooms were clean and ok for an over night on our driving trip north
- Luis (8/5): - There were some drunk guys upstairs making noises late, but fortunately they stopped it. I wonder if there's some security guard or something like that at night. I was worried about my kids.
- brittney (10/5): - This is a great hotel. It’s a little dated but still nice and comfortable. We loved that our room had a dividing door. We will return in the future!
- Aleena (8/5): - Perfect place to stay overnight!
