- Kylejohnrichter (2/5): Poor practice - My wife and I booked this hotel for 9 nights. When we arrived to check in, they told us that there had been a mistake with the booking and that we could only stay there for 1 night. The next morning, they tried to over charge us for the 1 night, and still insisted that we leave the hotel. They eventually agreed to give us a discount for the inconvenience and paid for a grab for us to head to our new hotel down the road. Although I don’t think this is the norm, it was a pretty terrible experience.

- Y6412JSlucasm (2/5): Not as expected - So disappointed, paid for early check-in, they checked me in later than the normal check in hour. I had to wait for a very long time. Then the hotel was not as expected at all, no service no air conditioner, no a good shower, just horrible. Better book somewhere else
- Hoora77 (2/5): Don’t stay here…….. - Worst travel experience with this hotel. Not what it shows on the reviews. Staff rude, not helpful, refused to assist with any enquire. Backpackers stay would have been more inviting. The executive room we booked had leaking water, a bed that was second to a swag. I would recommend my worst enemy to stay here. The safe is a box in the closet….

- Dexplorer3 (6/5): Just ok due to low cost. - An ok hotel at a low cost. This hotel is probably a 2, maybe 3 star hotel at best. The price was good and the room seemed fairly clean. But something about the room made me very uncomfortable. The shower was a let down, a bit grubby. There was foul smell on arrival which cleared up after an hour or so. There were toothbrushes there but no soap available by the sink, only the shower… which is close but not ideal when the floor is wet.

The hotel room window had no classic view of the city or beach, but oddly the shower window had the best view of the city from the room. Maybe opt for a balcony view next time. Proximity to beach and nearby resturants. Not far from the Airport. Reception & lifts area is light, pleasant and spacious. Reception staff are fine. Views from the roof are good. Hotel close to great beach. Overall great value.
- R3378GEcalvins (2/5): AVOID - Would not recommend - AVOID I stayed 30/31 Oct 23 There was blood stains as well as others on the bed. The bathroom was not great and the staff did not care. When we complained and asked for new sheets, the replacements were also dirty and had to be changed. Manager couldn’t even come out of office when complaining. The photos of the hotel and reality are a little inaccurate.
- Charlotte (2/5): Niet aan te raden - Hotelkamer was goed. S ochtends werden we om 7u wakker gemaakt door geboor. Bij navraag, kregen we excuus en de uitleg dat er werkzaamheden waren. Naast excuus geen compensatie gekregen, vond dit slechte service en zou daarom het hotel niet aanraden. Vooraf geen melding gekregen dat er werkzaamheden zouden zijn.
- sarajB2512KW (2/5): Avoid the cancel last minute with no explanation - I would avoid at all costs. Booked this property 2 months ago and day before arriving they cancelled. We were flying from uk and had to arrange new accomodatiom during our stopover. No apology nothing. Appauled is an understatement. All other hotels were more expensive due to last minute booking. Furious!!!!!!
- LouiseeDM (6/5): Basic but does the job - Budget hotel, did the job and the bed was very comfortable. Good location and walking distance to the beach. Unfortunately our air conditioning was not working - we realised this at midnight when we had returned to our room. It was difficult to communicate this to hotel staff as they spoke minimal English (we had to use Google Translate). Thankfully we were able to move to a different room. The bathroom had no shower screen or curtain, and the entire bathroom was flooded after each person took a shower.
- Lauren (6/5): - This hotel was in a convenient location. 5 min walk to the beach! It’s on a very main road though so you can hear honking late at night and early in the morning. There is a 24 hour minimart right next door that was convenient and an ATM. We rented a motorbike from the hotel which was also convenient. We have been overwhelmed with how friendly staff have been in Vietnam and just didn’t get that vibe from this hotel. There was a buffet breakfast 2 mornings (it was so-so, and the staff seemed very confused that we wanted to eat there and we would pay, it wasn’t included in our room rate) and then the third morning the restaurant was empty. When we asked about breakfast they said that it was a-la-cart and you had to order the day before. When our motorbike ran out of gas at night and the gas station was closed, we walked the bike back to the hotel and they showed us Google translate on their phone “bike broken, you pay”. Da Nang was a really busy city, not to our taste and I think the hotel just didn’t add anything great to our trip.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Value of what you pay for - The check in reception can only speak 10% English, super difficult to communicate. The check out reception is a lot better, at least 60%. II don’t expect the reception can speak another language in different country, but have to have a way to communicate . The worst thing I don’t like is the toilet is right next to the shower without any separation, so every time after you take the shower, the toilet will be wet. You need to take the toilet paper to a safe place to make sure won’t get wet. The housekeeping is doing a good job, the room is clean. To be fair, you only pay US$20 for a night, you cannot expect anything, but those are the things for the improvement.

We stayed in two deluxe double rooms as the better family suite were sold out. The same warm smile and efficient check in services from the front desk. They help me to call a grab car to Hoi An as I have not yet prepare a local SIM. No complaint for the price i paid.

- Zach95014 (4/5): Budget...but take a pass - The Song Cong hotel is quite a budget hotel. For such a good price, it does come with some downsides. First, the bathroom has no divider between sink area/toilet/shower. This means that whenever you shower, the water goes all over the floor, onto the toilet, and onto the counter. While shower sandals are provided, do you really want to trust shower sandals used by thousands of guests over the years? I certainly wouldn't. Second, while it is *mostly* clean, my partner and I did find a mosquito and ants in our room. There were also some weird items in the bathroom and on the floor that definitely shouldn't have been there. Make sure to thoroughly check out the room before settling in. Bring your own toilet paper. It's one ply, and doesn't even have a roll to hold it in. The only thing holding it in is a metal box thing. Other hotels usually have a security box for your valuables - this hotel has a box, but it has no lock. If you want to keep your stuff safe, keep it with you or bring your own combo lock. The bottom line is that this is a budget hotel, and if you're willing to overlook a few flaws, by all means, go for it. However, I'm usually looking for something that is much cleaner and has a few more amenities - something definitely doable for just a small increase in price in this area. Tl;dr Mostly clean, but for the price, spend a few extra bucks and get a cleaner place. If you do end up coming, bring these items: Lock Shower sandals Toilet paper

- Ghenna_12 (6/5): Nice staff , shabby hotel - I am always reluctant to post a critical review as I like to think that I am an open minded traveller. However, the Song Cong hotel was a tad disappointing. I accept that as a budget hotel the accommodation would be basic, but to have a shabby room with mould and fungus on the bedroom wall, peeling paint, ants in the room , noisy fridge and a bathroom where the shower flooded the route to the toilet was quite unacceptable, even for a cheap hotel. We have been visiting Asia for over 20 years and this was not our first time in Vietnam, so we aren’t naive travellers and we don’t have unrealistic expectations. I read previous reviews concerning breakfast and until I stayed there, I couldn’t understand how they could be so contradictory, now I know. There was a variety of cold buffet food but it was all uncovered and there were a lot of flies in the dining room, so I didn’t eat any of it. The hot food was definitely a game of chance. On three of our seven mornings there was a good choice and the food was hot. However on other mornings, not only was the food cold but there was little of it. On one morning in particular there was cold spaghetti, cold penne pasta or just one serving of cold rice. Needless to say I went to a local cafe for breakfast that day. It didn’t seem to matter what time we went to breakfast (our timings varied from 7.45 am to 9 am ) you never knew what you would find. Unless you liked eggs every day as there was an egg station. Some good points were the huge comfortable bed , location close to the beach , several mini markets close by, cash machines outside the hotel and really friendly staff. One huge problem which wasn’t the fault of the hotel was that DaNang is undergoing a massive redevelopment project. Hotels are being built absolutely everywhere. This means that the usually tricky pavements are rendered completely impassable as motorbikes park on the remaining pavement spaces. Walking in the road in Vietnam is never a comfortable option but it was the only option. The noise of the building works is dreadful. It always started by 7 am but on one particular morning a local hotel started banging at 4 am! Earplugs are essential as the glazing is ineffective. The easiest way to get around the city and from the airport to the hotel is by Grab taxi. They were quick, cheap and reliable. They will take you to local markets, places of interest, restaurants and Hoi An as well. Another good point is that if you don’t want to go along to the Dragon Bridge to watch the 9 pm weekend fire show, you can get a glimpse from the 15th floor of the hotel. Ending on a positive note, DaNang looks very pretty at nighttime , the city is obviously making an effort to light up the buildings attractively.

- Verified traveler (6/5): 그저 그렇습니다. - 아이셋과함께 5인가족이 숙박했습니다. 우선 호텔 크기는 제일 큰방을 예약했기에 충분했습니다. 주변에 식당도 많고 미케해변도 가까워서 좋습니다. 대부분의 관광지는 그랩으로 5만동이하로 가능하네여. 작은 단점은 목욕바스와 샴프가 별로라서 첫날 롯데마트에서 모두 구입해서 사용했습니다. 그리고 가장 큰 단점은 중국단체 관광객들이 많이 오네요. 문을 열어놓고 생활하는지 방으로 들어오는 소음이 장난아니었고 조식도 그닥인데 중국인들이 세치기를 너무많이해서 좀 좋지 않았습니다.

- 横浜おやじ (8/5): 広くて清潔な部屋 - 大理石調の室内でとても清潔で綺麗なミドルクラスのホテル。 ダナン空港からタクシーで850,000ドン程度（多めのチップ込みで1000,000ドン≒500円）。バスは路線12がホテルから徒歩3分のところにあり200,000ドン≒100円でコン市場やビックⅭに行ける。バス路線1でホイアンやハン市場に行けるが、ホテルからバス停まで約10分と灼熱時に徒歩は辛い。バスを利用したい方以外はタクシーが無難。ホテルのボーイが無線でタクシーを呼んでくれ、メーター料金なので安心です。（メーターは000単位は表示されません） 以前、ひどい書き込みをしていた方がいましたが、ダナンでは中の中～上くらいのレベルのホテルで、社会主義国ですから女性の斡旋など当然に無いし、治安も良好でフロントも英語が通じますので安心してください。 周囲は、ダナンではどこでも当たり前ですが、クラクションが一日中鳴らしっぱなしで、道路を横断するにも信号がなく注意が必要です。プールは利用できず。海まで徒歩５～６分、観光客向けの海鮮料理店も地元レストランも多数あり。１分以内にコンビニがあり食事は全く困りません。 ホテル周辺を楽しむならば、ビーチでのマリンスポーツ、海鮮レストラン、ｓｐａ＆マッサージで、３泊目には飽きてしまいました。

Sometimes crossing the street is a real mission in the busy times. Breakfast was dismal cold coffee and loads of people elbowing each other to the food. Room was big but poorly sealed windows allowed the karaoke singers to be heard all night. Staff tried their best but sometimes service lapsed. Probably give this a miss

It is centrally located near the beach, a famous seafood restaurant is just a stone's throw away. The room is large, good AC, nice hot shower and clean washroom. Consider the price I paid, it is one of the place with the best price/performance ratio that I have ever stayed. In-room wifi is rocket fast and that is importance for me.

Even though their website says that they have it available. They told us to catch a taxi. Maybe there would have been a better chance to get an airport transfer if we arranged it when booking the room. They did not show us to our room. Also there is no tissue paper. Only toilet paper is available. There is no safe either. The wooden box with a latch that you can attach a lock to is not a safe.

Hotel is very conveniently located near the beach and the airport. The breakfast buffet had a wide spread of food and hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again!

Our heat pump automatically turned itself to heating mode after a couple of hours so during the night it was uncomfortable. Bathrooms were spacious but the shower and drain placement mean the toilet is soaked every time you shower. No bathmat also made for a hazard after showering as whole room was tiled. Staff super helpful
