Guest Reviews
- Marie (10/5): - My stay with my family at Heaven on Hollywood Boulevard Furnished Apartments was overall very pleasant. The apartment was clean, well-kept, and in a great location—close to Hollywood Boulevard, the Walk of Fame, Universal Studios, and plenty of restaurants. The unit itself was spacious, featuring three bedrooms and three bathrooms, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The building felt secure, which gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. Management was very responsive and courteous. Check-in was simple and stress-free—they provided clear step-by-step instructions and a video guide, which made the process very easy.
The only downside is that it can be noisy outside, so if you’re a light sleeper, you may want to keep that in mind.
Other than that, everything went smoothly and my family and I enjoyed our stay.
- Marvin (10/5): - Very convenient and nice. Easy communication and great overall experience
- Amber (8/5): - There was construction going on but other than that would definitely recommend. I loved the bedrooms were separate with one being on the third level and one of the first . Very convenient every floor in the condo had its own bathroom.
- Mantai (10/5): - The apartment was very nice and spacious 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The manager was very responsive and made sure we had access. Will certainly checkout some of their other properties in the future.
- Andrea (8/5): - The location was great. Central to everything we wanted to do while we were in town. The parking was perfect. The apartment was nice but not super clean. Looks like it’s been rented a lot and hasn’t been deep cleaned.
- KAWAN (10/5): - Great place, location is perfect walking distance to Hollywood strip, food and grocery shop. Skip all that LA traffic. Quiet, family friendly. Property management are helpful and have great communication.
- Bird (10/5): - Great way to stay in LA with fellow Phans to go to the shows at the Bowl!
- Janese (8/5): - Overall I would stay here again. The property is so close to Hollywood walk fame my kids walked there an had a day. Location location location. The apartment it's self is really nice spacious and clean. My only wishes were they need blackout curtains, face towels, and a better mattress. I was able to get a hold of someone at anytime they were very available and helpful. I will b back
- pouriya (4/5): Bad apartment, great customer service! - The apartment was horrible, but the management was great.
As we entered the unit, there was a horrible smell masked by an air freshner installed on the wall. Once we started unpacking we realized so mamy issues with the unit. For example, the carpets in the unit seemed to have never been cleaned, and at least two of the cabinet doors were coming off their hinges. The smell in the unit got worst as the night went by making it impossible to stay.
The good news was that customer service was able to relocate us to a different apartment that was light years better.
The only issue at the new apartment was that the floors were not properly cleaned. We went in with white socks came out with black ones!
The other aspects were great!
- Paige (10/5): - Great needs more toilet paper tho lol
- Henry (10/5): - Everything was clean and new and the folks that manage the property communicated well and exceeded my expectations.
I will be staying at the apartment the next time I am in West Hollywood..
- Vasilis (8/5): - The apartment is big and the neighbourhood is good.
There is room for improvement in terms of cleanliness.
The communication with the owners was very good and they helped us with anything we needed.
- Bharathram (6/5): - It’s an average property through and through. Check in was very complicated and there seems to be two different point of contacts and little confusing as to who to contact when. The apartment we were on was level 5 and street facing and it was CRAZY noisy. We have an infant who woke up few times in the night due to noise. Otherwise, their supplies are all limited including toilet paper, kitchen towel or towel. We stayed for a week and ended up getting our own toilet paper and kitchen towels. We would not stay here again for this price. Otherwise it’s in a convenient location to get Hollywood, Griffith observatory, rodeo drive etc etc. we did Disney on mid week and one way was 90 mins in off peak hours. This is very far from Disney.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The location is great. The water preassure of the shower is awful. The beds are small.
- Daryl (6/5): - The apartment location was good for what we wanted, 40ish minute walk into the heart of west hollywood. The size of the apartment is great, but it definitely needs some work. lots of scuffs and marks on the walls, a piece of flooring coming up and it rained so we had a leak in the ceiling in the upstairs bedroom. Sheets and towels were all clean and lots of extras.
- ?? (10/5): - It was nice that it was quiet and clean
- Yuzhou (6/5): - It’s a clean apartment however there are a lot to be desired.
Carpet looks pretty old and dark. They say there hs a sofa bed but when you sit or sleep on it you feel the frame of the sofa. The bedroom downstairs have a constant noise that is non stop.
Bathrooms are okay, hot water takes a long time to come up.
Bedding feels it’s been used for a decade or more so is the mattress
- Alexander (8/5): - The only issue with the property (but rather imperative for safety) is the unsecured toilet seats on 2 of the 3 bathrooms.
And one minor issue with balcony a bit dirty.
- Andrew (10/5): Smooth experience. - Was a great experience and it was easy to check in and out of the property. It was very clean when we arrived.
- Susan (10/5): It was ideal except the Critters? - Well,it was ideal,we were there for my daughters Birthday, family of 7..very spacious, beds were a bit hard un comfy, woke of tired,we loved that it had 3 baths, little balconie, washer dryer, things were ok untill our car was to tall to fit in garage left it out in the st.that was not good.also in the master bedroom i saw "ROACHES" So that was very discusting! Had to come home leave stuff outside just in case one hopped in to our stuff,so we did not use their blankets or sheets used our own.that was a very nasty....i dont know if i should let them know, call or Email them about that so they can control that and they dont get out of control!?i have video and fotos..but so discussed dont want to post them.
- Pongkran (6/5): - I can’t open netflix. I think a remote not working. I did not get a soap at a room downstairs.
- samuelu (10/5): - I can only say how lucky i and my family have been to stay at such a clean, convenient, and responsive management.
- Haim (2/5): - The worst experience we had ever . Changing our booking location without our approval . The new location was in a drug / homeless environment . We left the apartment after one night (1/3) and still deal with Expedia to refund our stay !!!
- Sara (6/5): - The building is very secure with separate codes to get in the garage, elevator and room so it felt very safe. The location is great and close to Universal Studios, all the Hollywood attractions, many restaurants and stores. There is a grocery store across the street. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, nice kitchen with all appliances and a washer and dryer in the apartment. The only downside I had with this property was that it did not feel very clean. There was trash under the beds (wrappers/toys/tissues). The bathroom floors and showers did not look very clean and it overall just could have been cleaner. Great location though and plenty of space.
- Hilda (10/5): - The overall property was great. The beds were great, the cleanliness was great, and the ease of parking was great. Visually inside it’s very unique and the kids really enjoyed that. Also the separation of spaces is ideal.
- Alexis (8/5): - Property was in a great location. Communication with management staff was good, but check in was confusing.
Unit was nice, but wasn’t very clean.
- Alejandro (10/5): Genial - Lugar espectacular cómodo y agradable todos en mi familia quedaron sorprendidos x la comodidad y seguridad….gracias y con seguridad repetiría el lugar
- Linda K (10/5): - We loved it! It was super close to so many awesome things that it was a perfect place to stay. We did have an issue with the internet, but that could be a simple fix.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Spacious and clean, this apartment was a great option for 2 adults and four children. Communication was excellent and underground parking was a bonus! Walking distance to the Walk of Fame, short drive to Universal. So many options! We would stay again for sure.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Covid travel - It was very clean with secure parking.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The location it's great! 15 minutes from Universal. A lot of things near by including grocery store
- MOHAMMAD (10/5): Location - Good location, very comfortable stay, thank you Sonia
- Sam (8/5): - Private building in the heart of Hollywood. Convenient for walking and gated garage for our car. Great food options within walking distance and for delivery.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It's close to the Walk of Fame and the apartment is amazing with a lot of amenties go with. Will recommend this place to anyone.
- Romina (10/5): - Wonderful place! Great location! Great staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Property was in the heart of Hollywood. Convenient to everything.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The property was in the heart of Hollywood and close to all attractions
- DARRYL (8/5): - Great location, handy to bus, metro rail. a lot of hollwoods attractions are local. Safe as well.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - We liked the location behind Ralph’s but felt like we were imposing on the staff. It’s a residential block so casual renters are treated as very much second class citizens.
- Ellen (2/5): Terrible service and worst handling of complaints! - 1. Even as I gave specific details on my arrival per their instructions, they kept passing me feom one person to call and meet, to another... and we ended waiting a very long time before we found the person who can bring us to our unit.
2. DIRTY really gross dishes in the dish washer and some cups on the sink when we arrived!
3. somebody, which the management later admitted, BARGED INTO OUR UNIT, without knocking! Almost gave my 75-year old mother who has a heart condition, a heart attack. And i have an email from the pelican’s management even practically calling me a liar! Worst service ever already as it is... even more terrible was the handling of the complaints. Contact me before you even consider this place. I am a Managing Director at a prestigious global company and I don’t do complaints for the sake of complaining. This hotel is managed like a fly by night company! I left 3 days earlier than planned and paid for and noone has even come backed to me about my refund. I ended up paying a real hotel (which I recommend you do already)... just so we can proceed with the vacation i have promised my elderly parents
- Vez (10/5): - Even better than anticipated - super pleased with the property!
- Annette (10/5): - The kindness of the team . Thank you for an amazing trip
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Have to call several times to get the key!
- Eric (8/5): - The apartment was nice and modern and had a good kitchen. However, the service was poor. We arranged to pick up the key but we had to wait for 45 minutes for him to show up. He kept saying he's almost there every 15 minutes. Not a good start. Second, there were no toiletries, only half a roll of toilet paper, no paper towels and the coffee maker didn't work. Thirdly, the toilet tank would randomly refill itself and some of the cabinet doors in the kitchen were loose and wouldn't close properly. And to top it off, we found a pair of underwear left behind the sofa bed from a previous guest. They eventually brought over the missing items but still didn't bother to pick up the underwear. Clearly this is not a place that looks after the details.
- Verified traveler (10/5): CONVENIENT PLACE CLOSE TO EVERYTHING HOLLYWOOD! - We loved staying at the apartment. Perfect location in hollywood blvd. We were walking distance to EVERYTHING! The apartment itself was beautiful. Beds and sheets were comfy. Although one of the sofa beds had a broken leg frame, our daughter slept on the smaller one ( but was less comfy). Check out process was a little complicated. Would have been better if they had an extra key so my niece didnt have to go back upstairs to leave key in the apartment. She said some stranger followed her up to the 3rd floor and back down and she felt unsafe and had to run back out. Luckily, there were two ladies that walked in the elevator with her. Scary.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Hollywood boulevard apartment - The home was great and just what we needed.
The check in process was a little odd and could be improved with better communication
- FamilyTrip (8/5): - We try to eat at home due to the diet that's why were looking for hotel with kitchen. Overall it is the great place to stay. Very CLEAN, NO SMELL. Washer, drier, everything you need is there. Only couple thing to add: Expedia said it was the three bedroom apartment, was two - huge deference, right? Plus, after we booked they email confirmation for one bedroom. Had to call. We were given one key only, was not convenient for the family of 5. Also was surprised by addition of 3% charge for VISA payment. We stayed on the first floor, every evening around 11 p.m it was like the gym above. Communication with staff was great. Conclusion, next time I will book with them.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I would not stay here ever again. Check in and check out was ridiculous. I was not given an address till last minute and was asked to talk to about 5 different people for check in. The condo smelt bad, shower curtains looked like they had pee all over them. To get to your car you have to walk by the condo garbage dump. There was loud music, police sirens all night from the neighbourhood - we could barely sleep. Check out was unacceptable, no easy way to return the key at the end of your stay, good luck if you have kids. The pictures do not reflect what you get nor does the comfort of the location. I even left a night early we couldn't handle it. I would not recommend this place to any of my friends or family.
- Yuliet (10/5): - The apartment had excellent location , was very clean and comfortable, the staff was very nice , the place was very safe I am super happy with the selection.
- rajesh (4/5): Service sucks - The service was worst. No support during the stay. Called many support and customer care staff but no one came to help. They were not available till 11.00 am in the morning. No help during checkout. bathroom was leaking. and was not repaired before we got in. service is zero.
- Steven (6/5): Poor organized staff. - Would never stay there again or recommend it to anyone.
- Shiva (8/5): - Very good location,. Spacious room and well cleaned. It will be better if room can be locked after checked out.
- Racquel (10/5): - Everything as expected. Wonderful experience. Great !
- Kevin (6/5): It’s OK.. 3 out of 5 stars - Laundry was left in the dryer when we arrived. Toilet paper and kleenex where like sand paper. No cable channels, pool wasn’t open. Neighborhood was close to Hollywood Blvd.
Don’t forget any toiletries because there isn’t any provided if needed.
- Kenny (10/5): - Had an excellent stay. Room was perfect. Check-in was a breeze. Will definitely consider staying here again in the near future. The best part was it is walking distance from my favorite Hollywood restaurant Bossa Nova.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Amazing location, accommodating staff, nice place - Jay was so accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The place was very nice and we will definitely stay there again upon our next visit.
- Sesen (10/5): -
Without a doubt this one of the best places we stayed during our time in California. Upon arrival at the airport, we received a phone call from our host Jay to confirm our landing and arrival to the place. We were warmly welcomed by Jay and we received a thorough tour at the time of the arrival which was past midnight. Regardless, of the time Jay was very nice and answered all our questions. He was very polite and flexible. The atmosphere of the apartment was beyond what we expected and we were supplied with everything we needed. From cleaning supplies to an entire fully furnished apartment. The apartment was very clean and located in a great location. We could Uber to many locations and not to mention there was a Starbucks located right next door. The security was amazing and we felt very safe! Thanks again to Jay for making our experience very smooth and great! We will be back!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was amazing!!
- Shawn (10/5): - Check in was a little questionable, but turned out fine
- Verified traveler (6/5): Staff was rude and charged my card no permission. - Staff and I had an agreement that I would pay the balance upon my arrival. The on site staff, Jay, did not ask for payment so I thought the person I spoke to on the phone would call me for payment. When no one called me at the end of business day, I decided I would call in AM. I got a text saying that I did not pay and that I would be evicted if I did not pay the balance. and demanded that I call immediately. This text came after 8 PM and I was on my way out for my birthday. I returned the call and was asked where I was and when would I be returning because Jay was on his way to the apartment for the payment. I told her I was far from the hotel and that I had a card to pay or she could get cash at 1 AM or when I wake up. She said that she was going to call and speak with Jay. Moments later she called me and said that everything was okay because she had charged my card on file. I was shocked because she did not ask me and the charge was supposed to be to one of my friend's card. We called to report that the bed in the spare bedroom was broken and they said that they would send Jay over right away. He never came. Microwave did not work. I will say that overall the apartment was in a good location and a good community. The layout of the apartment was nice and roomy for just 4 women.
- Verified traveler (10/5): 5 star stay - We had a great stay - check-in was easy and we loved the pool. Host Jay was friendly and accommodating. Love the area too.
- ozan (4/5): Not worth it - The location was awesome! The room was dirty, food splatters on the walls and pretty much everywhere The table was set beautiful but there was food crumbs in the dishes. All the dishes had to be washed before using. There was less than 1/2 roll of toilet paper when we arrived. It smells like smoke, not too bad but enough to where you can tell someone smoked in there. There was toothpaste leftover spits on the mirror. The floors were so dusty. Not sure when the last time it was mopped or sweep. We found a sewing needle, earring and bob pin on the ground. The towels sucked. Bring your own. Thank goodness I brought Clorox wipes to wipe down everything. We found 2 spiders we had to kill in the bathroom area and 3 roaches in the kitchen that went into the light switch before I could get them. Gross gross gross. I called the customer service line they listed not the front desk for bug spray and was hung up on 2xs. Ended up going to the store myself to spray. They want you to leave the keys and garage remote on the counter when you leave and the door unlocked??? Scary when they charge 500 for loss keys but we took a picture of them on the counter and they said that was fine. Everything just needed to be wiped down and disinfected before use. Their cleaning service really is terrible. I’ve stayed in 2 star hotels that were more clean. The towels hanging up and sheets on the bed smelled clean but the stuff in the closet or cabinets did not. I really do not recommend staying here.
- olli (10/5): Superb Accommodation - My stay was amazing, the apartment was exactly located to where I want to be and my accommodation was superb, it was clean and place is very Friendly.
- Bill (2/5): This is not a hotel - Heaven on Hollywood is NOT a hotel. It is someone's apartment. There is no where to put your cloths, One towel in the bathroom. I left after one day. Horrible experience!!
- sharon (10/5): - Customer service was excellent. I really enjoyed my stay
- Verified traveler (4/5): - There are many dogs in the building. They bark from morning to the night.
- Pat (8/5): - Overall this was a good place to stay, close to Hollywood attractions. The kitchen is updated and well appointed. AC, TV and wifi were fine. Rooms were spacious and there is a little balcony. Some of the furniture is showing its age, and the toilet is usable but needs attention. Parking in the garage was very helpful, garage is neat and clean. Was disappointed to find there was no gym access, despite it being advertised on Expedia. Also disappointed that a late check-in fee applies after 8PM. This is spelled out in the rental contract, very fine print. Hands down, the best feature of this place is the rooftop area, with pool, hot tub, tables with umbrellas, lounge chairs. Great view.
- Monica (10/5): Great location - 4 adults stayed here very comfortably, 2 bedroom 2 bath. We felt very secure staying here. Took a brand new car on our trip and appreciated the double gated parking that was included in the stay.
- Bharat (8/5): Nice, comfy apt, but, beware of extra fees/taxes - Overall we liked the apartment - it was clean, comfy (homely), location was close to Hollywood (we wanted to stay close to Universal, Griffith). NOTE: This is generally a high traffic area, so, getting in/out of Hollywood area can take time.
Didn't appreciate the extra fees/taxes on top of the overall price shown on expedia. Ended up paying extra 150$ for some city tax for 3 nights (expedia price included the cleaning charge). On top of that, there is a 30$ late check-in fee after 7 pm. It was still reasonably priced, so, went with it, but, would have preferred to see all the charges upfront.
Also, the sofa bed in the living room wasn't very comfortable. We had one person use it and he preferred to sleep on the sofa directly for the last 2 nights.
- Dona (8/5): - It was a great stay. The only suggestions are clean the floors better, they were really dirty. I would go cheap on the pull out bed, it was very uncomfortable. The place, overall was great. I would stay there again.
- Ige (6/5): Inconvenient - One of my access cards didn't work. I got locked out building. I had to call several numbers before speaking to anyone. I was assured someone would come to replace it. No one ever came.
- Kent (8/5): Stay At Thiis Place. - This past Spring Break vacation has been great. Staying at this location made visiting Hollywood accessible. You are able to see everything in Hollywood. If you are planning an inexpensive place for family and to cook at home, instead of eating out everyday, then this place is for you. Parking is great in the garage during your stay.
I would be considering to stay here again, but at a higher floor.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice place to stay... - We spent one week in this apt and its was nice, apt is beautiful and in a good location. Only what we didn't like was that one key that they gave us was not working and when I asked to bring us second one I was told I would have it second day but nobody came over to give us second key. I would not say they key about their guest 100%.
- Verified traveler (4/5): This is customer care? - TV not woking correct, 4 hours for service. Many outlets not working. Light switches that do nothing. Dirty kitchen appliances and oven pan. Toaster broken, 2 days to replace. Kitchen soap dispenser 3 days to replace. Bedroom carpet really dirty. Ended up with a bad sinus infection. Decided to pull out the living room coach, very uncomfortable that I took the mattress out and put it on the floor so I could get some sleep. Damp sheets and towels rolled up in a bag in the closet. Yikes
- Verified traveler (6/5): It's ok. - Building is a bit run down but the apartment is comfy. Check in was weird. I never even signed any paperwork.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent location, missing basic kitchen items - The apartment is in a fantastic location. Convenient for Sunset boulevard, Hollywood Boulevard and 5 minutes away from Runyon Canyon, which has great views of LA. Relatively close to airport too - 30-45 min drive. The largest supermarket nearby is Ralph's, about 15-20 minute walk.
The reason for getting an apartment in LA rather than a hotel was to be able to cook rather than eat out. However, the kitchen was lacking some basic items - no chopping boards, no colander, only one proper oven tray. This made it more difficult to cook - I had to use plates to chop and cut items.
The apartment was also not cleaned up to standard prior to our arrival. Though everything was very tidy, I found hairs on the mats in the bathroom, and dirt on the rugs in the lounge, in corners - evidently the place had not been hoovered properly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful and very well situated condo. - We were very pleased with the apartment, very good service and great location.
- Darshini (2/5): Dishonest management - The stay at this hotel was very upsetting. When my family tried to check in after the check in time, we were told that housekeeping was still cleaning the room. When we finally returned to the room later that night, we found the door was left open.
Then, the first two nights my family had to sleep in a room with temperatures at 87F. Building maintenance had been notified multiple times that the air conditioner had stopped working, and though they came to look at it, they did nothing to fix it, claiming that it was fixed... so my family continued to sleep in 87+ temperatures. It was only on the last night that we were moved to another room. This was after multiple calls to management.
Once the trip was over, I tried to contact their management to claim some kind of compensation, and was told that they were investigating the report from their building maintenance, to check whether the customers had broken the air conditioner! Unbelievable!
It took three more months of trying to get a response from management before I was finally told that the only way to receive compensation was to take a screen shot of a positive review and send it in before anything could be done. This was their policy.
I refused to do this.
I am writing this honest review in order for other customers to be leery of staying at this apartment complex, and to be careful when reading future positive reviews about this complex.
- Jess (10/5): Home away from home - Fantastic location. Its close to everything.
Nicely furnished apartment. Same as photos
Happy to come back..
- Mary (8/5): Good location - Nice to visit Hollywood hall of fame. Closed to must places and restaurants.
- Efrain (10/5): Great Location and nice apartment. - The location was great right next to Hollywood Blvd and the apartment was clean with all the necessary items that are needed. Would book again for my next trip without hesitation. Cheaper than Hollywood hotels and more comfort and space than an average hotel room. Great for groups of people as well.
- Steven (8/5): Excellent apartments - Had a great experience here with this apartment. Firstly, let's get the stuff responsible for bad scores in other reviews out of the way ... YES, you will pay extra at the apartments (although this is clearly stated when you book), YES, there is NO front desk (well, there was at the place I stayed, but it was for residents only, not guests), YES the check in process is a little complicated (you have to call them to setup a meeting time), and YES, you're left a little on your own to work things out (had to work out how to use parking by myself).
However, if you don't mind the above (and I don't), then it's a great place to stay. Friendly staff, nice clean apartments, great location. Would have given them a higher mark except that my front door key took some work before it would lock the door every time I went out, and parking (as mentioned above). Really nothing too big to deal with, and the apartments themselves were fantastic. Would stay there again, no problem !
- Keith (10/5): Hollywood Haven - My wife and I spent 4 nights here doing continuing ed for our businesses with our special little dog. We had a fun and restful time. Highly recommended!!
- Tom (8/5): Nice location. - The apartment has a very nice location close to Hollywood Blvd.
- Pamela (8/5): Convenient apartment for families - Good location with own allocated car park spot in a secure compound. Kitchen reasonably equipped, but cutlery required cleaning before it could be used.
- Lorraine (10/5): Awesome Apartment - great location - So close to all the attractions, we loved to walk around Hollywood and see all the attractions. The location was great.
We didn't spend much time in the apartment since we were out enjoying Hollywood!!
Will return again!!
- Sandra (10/5): Great value for money!! Loved the cozy apartment - We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It had everything we needed. The pool area was great. Thanks!!
The staff was very helpful - helped us with extra toiletries which we ran out.
- Robert (10/5): Perfect getaway for a family. - A nice 2 bedroom apartment at a great location and a great price. The apartment was large enough for the 4 of us. Walking distance from all the attractions. Would visit again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Read the reviews. Lovely apartment, big drawbacks - A difficult review. The actual apartment was lovely and well equipped, location great. Good secure underground parking included. So why not recommend? The whole process is tricky. The address on the booking is not the actual address - you get texted or called the day before to tell you that and asked what time you will arrive. We thought we would arrive at one time and kept them up to date but the traffic in this area is horrific. Luckily we still got there before 7pm but if you don't you incur a £350 late check in fee. Be very aware that the traffic is unpredictable so leave plenty of time. We did not get any proper instructions but managed to work out we needed to go into the underground car park. Once in there we could not access the lift without a pass - this is a secure residential block and not a hotel. Luckily someone took pity on us and used their pass to rescue us. About 10 minutes later someone came to take us in. The first thing they did was say we were not to mention booking through Expedia. We paid a lot for this and I like to do everything properly and was not happy to be told this - it felt like there was some issue. As other reviewers have said you get one key fob. Do not underestimate how tricky this is. You cannot do anything without this - eg access your car, go the swimming pool or go in and out. This means you cannot split up as a party. The extra fees rack up so read the small print before you book
- Clara (8/5): Nice apartment in great location in Hollywood - Stayed in this apartment for 3 days while visiting LA. It's within walking distance to a lot of tourist attractions and in a great location for driving to other attractions. There's a grocery store nearby and we also attended a church that was right around the corner. Our apartment had 2 BR (the beds were very comfortable) and 2 full baths, a fully stocked kitchen and living area; it also had a balcony that overlooked the pool area. The apartment was clean and very comfortable; the apartment building itself was also very clean and nice and had excellent security. The garage required fey fob access as well as the elevators to get to your floor. It had a lobby area with staff and a business office where we were able to print out boarding passes and other tourist passes. The staff was very helpful. The only negative at all (and this depends on your needs/wants) is that the mgmt only provides 1 key fob which is required for entrance to the building and to the garage. So, if your party wants to split up, only one of you has access to the building/elevators/garage (even though they give you 2 keys to the apartment, which is meaningless since you don't have a key fob). This was not a huge deal for us during the 3 day stay but it probably would have become more of an issue if we stayed longer.
- Jason (10/5): Great location and family friendly - We were very happy with our stay at Heaven on Hollywood. The apartment was a great size for our family of 6 people.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Unhappy in Heaven on Hollywood - Booked Heaven on Hollywood and was confirmed to be on Hollywood Blvd. Apt actually on La Brea. Felt like bait and switch.
Requested 2 apartments close by (had kids that needed supervision) - actually in 2 different buildings.
One apartment smelled like smoke although was supposed to be non smoking.
We all used the pool facilities - hassled by locals that we could not move furniture to sit in the shade, challenged our right to be there. We were quiet, respectful, cleaned up and left the place as we found it. When then got a call from the rental company 2 days later to ask if 'we had a party at the pool' due to local complaints.
Clearly locals are not happy with short term renters - either change the bylaws or move!
Complained to rental company before posting this review - thanked me but did not address any of my issues.
- Amy (10/5): Wonderful stay in Hollywood - The apartment was very spacious - two toilets was a bonus. Full kitchen was great for cooking & rubbish disposal was easy for each floor. Washing machine and dryer were very handy. There was plenty of storage & the walk in wardrobe was terrific.
Great location - everything was walking distance.
- George (10/5): Great Home Away From Home - Gorgeous apartments that felt like a home away from home! I loved how the apartment had the lights on and music playing when we arrived. Every detail felt high end, carefully considered for the busy professional. Suite was clean and very comfortable. Would highly recommend. Location was the best.
- Jiaxin (10/5): High end - Great location - Gorgeous apartments that felt like a home away from home! I loved how the apartment had the lights on and music playing when we arrived. Every detail felt high end, carefully considered for the busy professional.
- Venkat Ramana (4/5): BAD NEWS FOR THE MONEY YOU PAY - we were put up in a private residential apartment where there was no reception , no room service for that matter there was no representative of the hotel in the complex . At the time of check out we were told to leave the keys in the kitchen and go . The apartment was not cleaned during the 3 day stay , there was not a soul in sight . The bathrooms were not cleaned even once but were charged a cleaning fees of USD 115 for the three day stay .
- Holli (8/5): Apartment rather than Hotel - If you follow GPS leave plenty of Time. The Traffic on the 101 was standstill and we did not get to the facility until 7pm so we were charged a late fee even though we kept the staff posted on our lack of progress on the roads. The apartment was beautiful. Initially we could not find sheets for the sofa bed and we were told there would be Wine and Chocolates waiting for us. The cupboards were bare. Nice appliances. One cabinet had sugar and creamer. No Coffee, No Wine and no chocolates. I texted Jessica and she called me back the next day. By then we found the sheets in a closet hidden behind and open door. She said she would send the Wine and Chocolates over late am or early pm. We waited until 2 pm then went out to explore. The apt is an easy walk to Hollywood Blvd. Even though it was not on a main street - It was very noisy - too noisy to enjoy the balcony. With the windows and doors closed it was quiet. The pool is on the top floor and is small - 4ft at the deepest. The hot tub was small yet nice.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Do Not Stay Here - This is not a hotel and should not be listed on hotels.com. I did not feel safe in the room, had trouble coordinating my check-in with the staff, and there is no front desk. Do not stay here. After I got settled into my room, a strange man knocked on the door and insisted that he needed my garage door opener and would bring it back. He also needed a cable he'd left in the room. There was a $30 fee for a "late check in" which was not mentioned anywhere when I booked this room. Also, none of the linens had been washed. They were brand new but totally unwashed and smelled like chemicals. Lastly, I was told not to tell anyone in the apartment building that i was staying in the room as a guest -- i was told that i should tell residents i was visiting a friend. Totally sketchy.
- Svetlana (10/5): Wonderful apartment in a great location! - We loved our stay in this beautiful apartment. It was huge and very comfortable and had everything which we wanted. Walking distance from every attractions. The staff was great and very responsive.
Loved it.
