Guest Reviews
- Abhijit (8/5): -
- Bibek (7/5): - Based on my previous visit, this place was very good, comfortable, and well-managed overall; I had planned to visit again this time but couldn’t due to a health issue.
- Shreta (1/5): Dissatisfied - Location was great and staff were lovely there was construction going on and noise was very disruptive. TV on the wall was shaking. So we looked for another property and left as soon as we got to our room. My suggestion is it is better to let the guests know in advance and we could have organised another property instead of wasting our time.
- Tshering (10/5): Wonderful stay with comfy clean beds - Friendly staff & nice spacious rooms Pretty old structure and power frequent power shutdown
- Asif (10/5): Simply excellent. Can’t be better. - The staff, food, ambience everything was just perfect. All the staff starting from GM, Chef Mr. Rajiv, restaurant staff Mr. Kedar, Prasanta, Swapna, Subhash are a few to mention. The young lady at the reception (forgot her name) was just super. Made our stay smooth and comfortable. Quickest check-in and check-out. None
- Ritesh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dr. (8/5): Overall good - Good eco friendly setup. Slow internet.
- Haylee (8/5): Very good -
- Urja (7/5): Good -
- catherine (8/5): On the road to Namo Buddha - A nice place with charming helpful staff, but too expensive for what you get. And it is not really a resort -- no amenities besides a restaurant.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible Road Noise - We had 1 night here to see the mountain views. These are great but can be seen better at Nagarkot. The resort is OK, a bit tired though. Bear in mind there is nothing to do in this area and the hotel can only organise vastly overpriced taxis presumably due to its location. The wifi also doesn't work at all in the rooms.
The main problem with the hotel though is it's location which is truly awful. It is situated a few meters from the apex of a steep bend on the main Kathmandu - Tibet highway which has nose to tail cement and sand trucks as well as countless buses. This means there is almost constant blaring of astonishingly loud horns from before 7am until 6pm. It is quieter during the night but bring ear plugs and go out during the day. On the whole it is vastly overpriced and terrible value for money. Just don't come here as there is much better elsewhere. Dhulikel generally can be missed out as a place to visit, just do Nagarkot and Bhaktapur instead.
- Gary (8/5): Dhulikel Mountain resort - Needing a base out of Kathmandu for business purposes this hotel suited me very well.
It had good facilities and very helpful and kind staff.
Facilities were good and the views very spectacular.
Ideal place to have a relaxing holiday.
Should my Job take me back to Nepal I will consider this hotel as a base once more for my operations.
I would recommend this resort to anybody visiting the region.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Worth a night or two - Beautiful views, professional staff. It's not close to any services so youre stuck with their mediocre restaurant. Amazing walks through nearby hillside villages
