- Scott (1/5): Horrible. Couldn't even stay the night, we left. - As you walk into the building all you could smell was the stench of old cigarettes. Upon entering our room the floors were slightly sticky and the whole room smelled of urine. We got there and immediately ubered over to the casino becuase we were there to see a show. We gambled a little after the show so we didnt get back to the hotel until late. Somehow the smell in our room was even worse. My wife was so disgusted and uncomfortable that we had to leave and drive home at 3:30AM. We may have spent a total of 10 minutes in the room all together. The place was absolutely disgusting. Also tried to use the ice machine, and of course it didn't work. I would not recommend this place to anyone ever.

- Daniel (8/5): - The physical building fixtures were very worn out. They were clean but clearly in use for a long time. There was some mold on the bathroom ceiling from a leak that had been fixed. The ice machine was broken. I thought the staff was very kind and brought ice to the room from another location. There were no lamps by the bed. The heat and AC unit was quiet and the beds were good.
- Lee (4/5): - The building was in pretty rundown condition, exterior lights, not working.
- Jo (4/5): - It was dirty the toilet was not working well and the towel had a big hole in it tub dirty
- Jan (4/5): Needs upgrades - Not a nice looking place, room was in need of maintenance. No coffee maker but had coffee stuff. No ice maker. Was good enough to lay our heads to sleep after going to a concert at the casino. Would not stay there again.
- Mariann (6/5): - Dirty with mold and scribble on the wall in our room that could have easily been removed with a magic eraser!
- Craig (2/5): - The king size room we reserved was absolutely awful! Dirt and dust everywhere. Hair on the bedsheets when covers pulled back. Stain on pillow case. Broken full-length mirror left in place. Offered another room available because not able to get refund. Queen size room much cleaner than previous room but broken lamp, refrigerator not cleaned from previous stay, juice spilled stains. Broken door on cabinet. Ripped shower curtain. Building run down. Nothing like the photos showed! Everything felt dirty entering the building. Couldnât afford to not be refunded and try to look for another room for one night. In town to see a show at Mohegan. Would never stay again or recommend to anyone!
- Janette (1/5): I did not stay and had to find another hotel at the last minute. - Nothing, there was not one thing to like. Booking.com should remove this property from their website. The wood around the the door latch was splintered. Once in the room the smell of mold, mildew, smoke, urine and vomit was overwhelming. The window was open so the room was aired out. I could not stay there.
- andrew (10/5): - Good sized
- quang (2/5): - Smoke

- Wendy (2/5): - First off, the Rosemont is not part of the Marriott. They share a parking lot but they are nothing alike. I thought they were connected as even the signs outside are difficult to distinguish one from the other. When I explained that I had made a mistake, and gave the benefit of the doubt by going to the room at the Rosemont, I was very let down. Every piece of furniture in the room looked like tag sale freebies, the bedding did not fit the bed, the walls had many scuff marks, and the first floor room had a slider that had damage. I told the person at the desk that I had made a mistake and meant to book at the Marriott and he told me that I needed to call Expedia for my refund. I was in the room under 4 minutes. Expedia requested a refund and the manager of the Rosemont refused to give me my money back. Don't make this mistake!!
- Amy (8/5): - It was ok for the price. Very run down and old. Staff was nice. Hallways smelled like curry. Room didnât smell tho.
- Patricia (1/5): The only reason to stay there was a last minute decision to stay an extra day and the hotel we were staying at was full, - The only thing good was the location to dinner and the American Legion. The entrance had two glass doors and hard to get the only luggage rack through both. The tires on it were also flat!
- Suzanne (10/5): - The room was very large, and the personnel where very nice.
- Donna (1/5): The place is disgusting! I couldnât sleep there if I was homeless. - NOTHING!!! I sent a message to booking.com. It explains it all. Waiting for someone to get back to me.
- debra (10/5): - Service was wonderful - room / suite was perfect
- Andrew (8/5): Quick weekend in Norwich CT - Close to activities, clean room, steady hot water in shower, all other hotels were at least double the price in the area. No amenities beyond free parking.
- Vasquez (2/5): Very poor -
- Drew (10/5): - Good
- Jennifer (1/5): Bad -
- Wright (8/5): Very good -
- Sheila (2/5): - No elevator for second floor, floors sticky, heater smelled, no cups, only 2 pillows on a king sized bed, when i asked for more pillows, he got them from another room. Exposed wires, painters tape holing stair treads down.
- Dionelly (3/5): Poor - Clean
- I2394BOpatriciab (10/5): Hidden Gem - We enjoyed our stay here! Thatâs probably hard to believe after reading the other reviews. We usually stay at Hilton and Omni hotels but, we were traveling so much in May and the hotels in the area were ridiculously expensive for some reason when we were planning to be there for a few days we decided to wing it and try something even our kids commented as weird. This hotel is definitely âold schoolâ and the decor is as well. However, we have never had the cleanliness and caring we experienced with the wonderful people who now manage and my guess own the Rosemont Suites ever in our 40 years of traveling the US. I wanted to leave them a review because I was so impressed and started looking through the old reviews. They were awful and old. Then I looked up the property info to hopefully make sense of it all. The property changed ownership in 2023. This is a hidden gem. Thank you again to the folks who made our stay so comfortableâŚMr.&Mrs. B
- Robert (4/5): - Itâs not bad staying there cause of the prices but the people that do end up staying are usually junkies or addicts going in and out slamming the doors at all times of the night and management wouldnât do anything bout it when you brought it to their attention
- Luis (7/5): Good -
- Kayla Joy (6/5): - If youâre looking for a quick place to just lay your head overnight that is reasonably priced, this place does the trick. If youâre staying for a longer period of time, maybe go somewhere else. The staff were friendly and helpful. But there was dirt on the doorways, the clean linens I requested were dirty and stained, dirty fingerprints in the bathroom on the walls and black mold spots on the curtain. I like the flooring (not sure how soundproof it is for the people below us) but itâs nice not having gross carpet on the floors for a change. The room itself was nice but the facility had a strange odor to it when we walked in. The pillows were flat. Again, not luxury but it was nice enough to stay just for overnight.
- Trista (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bonnie (6/5): - Although clean the sink was cracked, no shampoo and conditioner, and thin towels.
- John (6/5): Pleasant -
- Roberta (8/5): Very good -
- Timothy (2/5): - Not sure how you could still be in business with the conditions, the dirtyness and 30 year old beds and sheets
- Matthew (4/5): Was clean but so outdated and just unkept - Office staff are live in employees, they leave the door to their apartment slightly ajar all the time. The hallway smells of curry and spices. The room was pet friendly which we liked, so no carpeting for the dog. All the walls had patched holes that have never been sanded or repainted. The sink when turned on sounded like a freight train. The shower head is an older sunbeam (cheap) that has the outside shower with 3 jets on the inside for harder pressure. The water barely came out of 1 of those 3 with terrible pressure. Could barely get wet enough to shower. They provided no shampoo or conditioner which we did not bring as it was a single overnight stay just for a concert in the area.
- Baracat (2/5): - Bathroom shower was broken, room smells, looks way different on the pictures.
- Maribel (2/5): - Rosemont Suites were dirty, stains, filthy, loud, bugs, black mold and gross. The tub would not drain. My boy has bites lord know from what.there was blood on the walls.the smell in the room was so horrible i had to get a air puffer. The sheets were dirty . This was horrible and experience
- Arazh (7/5): Good - them no give the breakfast but, the restaurants is very close to the hotel so is good the cleaning needed more attention
- Bob (1/5): Never again - Beds were comfortable , owners were nice people good water pressure and hot water. Mold, dirty, missing receptical covers, plugged sink drain and slow shower drain, leaky shower, hair in bathroom, blood on towels provided , red smears on walls
- Areta (4/5): - The room smells like smoking the furniture so old curtains are old and have paint on them . The bathtub had thick dirt donât think they have proper materials to clean it. Doesnât look nothing like in the picture though. Itâs really bad and not worth the money they charge .
- Katurah (8/5): Good economic value - Rooms were very large with a sink/microwave kitchenette. Split bathroom was convenient. Close to the highway for accessibility.
- Brian (4/5): - Although the room was clean, was very rundown, cracked minor on doors, bed was springy and needs to be replaced. Great pressure in shower but water was way too hot to where it was scalling hot and could burn you! 70âs decor and needs an update. It was a late check in so had to wake staff to get in.
I would not say again
- Alicia (8/5): - Staff was very helpful
- Alison (8/5): Very good - Close to Mohegan Sun Casino, and it was quiet It was poorly lit outside around the hotel, as well as the "ROSE" was not lit up only the MONT.
- Denise (5/5): Passable -
- Joshua (1/5): Bad -
- Angel (2/5): Terrible - Room was dirty bathtub had soap mold
- Eric (1/5): Awful. Never again. - Sleazy place in a back alley, keys barely work, bath drain was clogged. No bulb in the lamp.
- alexandre (2/5): - its a dirty place really not good and noisy really too expensive
- ALEX (2/5): - The place reaks of cigarettes. Room smelled musty. Blood/boogers on the wall. When we decided to ask for a refund they denied it. Had to dispute it with my credit card company.
- Arrash (4/5): - Smelled bad, bugs, old mattresses, old pillows, etc
- Crystal (6/5): - Was able to access a handicap room. Made it easy to get from the parking lot to the room.
Room was dated, needed some woodwork repairs, a little musty.
- jacqueline (2/5): - VERY LOUD! I stayed awake for hours with VERY LOUD pounding in room above me. Room was very clean and efficient.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Patrick (2/5): - The list of issues with this place is far too long for this little block, the ONLY thing was that the employee we dealt with a few times was nice. But they charged $50 for a service dog, (which is illegal btw). If you have the option to stay sonewhere else i recommend doing so.
- Fiona (4/5): Donât stay here - Hotel is dirty burn stains on the bed clothes. Floor dirty and sticky. The bathroom was full of stains.
- Gail (2/5): - There was a dead mouse in the first room. In the room they moved us to, sheets were never changed. There was hair in food in the bed.
- William B (6/5): - Place was old . We had a dirty looking chair in our room
- Nicole (4/5): Disappointing - Owners were friendly and polite. The toilet ran all night long. The shower temperature changed every two minutes from severely cold to burning hot. Bathroom was dirty. No washcloths provided.
- Dragonslayer (1/5): Absolutley horeible would not go again. I fear for my health. - Nothing about it was acceptable! Where do I begin....The floors were covered in mold. The ceilings were covered in black mold. The room I booked smelled like mildew and mold as soon as I opened the door. There was bodily excrement all ofger the bedding. Upon asking to have the sheets changed and the place scrubbed a bit in front of my eyes. The new blanket that was put on my bed was in worse condition than the one before. I walked in and the first thing I saw was the toilet had been freshly used with the seat up and piss in the toilet. When I went to the front desk to ask for a refund and to explain (CALMLY) that i wasnt going to be staying he said...word for word..."call booking.com and talk to them, I will deal with someone else then!"
- Andres (1/5): Highly recommend to cancel your stay and pay a bit more for the Marriott which is in the same parking lot! - It was close to our event for the day. If anybody remembers the British TV show Fawlty Towers, then I found the equivalent hotel in CT!
Floors were filthy, no soap provided, only 1 towel for twin room, the power points had no cover on them and they were wobbling sinking into the wall, rooms stank of stale BO and cigarettes. Hosts were as friendly as Basil Fawlty.
- Ryszard (2/5): - I called 2 x to confirm reservation and the person who answered the phone did not ask for name or phone nr. Nothing. Just said you have reserved rooms.
Check in was bad, a man came out of a room right behind reception and just gave us keys. No info on anything. The rooms and the entire place stank of curry and mold, with walls like they were hit by something not even repaired.
Rooms from the 60s, with mold stench so bad we left after 1 minute.
Receptionist not attentive, v passive and answering phone 2 x did not state the name of the hotel or his name.
Do yourself a favor and donât go. You are better off sleeping in your car.
- Janet (8/5): Very good -
- Allie (4/5): You get what you pay for - It was close to the Casinos. It was dingy, dirty, and my keys didn't work after hours so I had to get them re done. The room I had was old. The kitchen sink was corroded, the mini fridge had molded ice. I didn't want to put my feet on the floor because it didn't look good in the room.
- Arianna Ponce (4/5): - Door molding has finger prints. Wallpaper is peeling off. Strong musty smell. Rundown and dated.
- L. (10/5): Great location, great price, perfect for a budget stay - The location was ideal for attending a convention at Mohegan! Less than 15 minutes drive and the location was quiet despite being close to the highway. Staff was friendly and check in was quick and painless. Would absolutely stay here again. Wifi was terrible which isn't the staff's fault and I was only there for one night so it didn't bother me. I wasn't a huge fan of the pillows but that's a personal preference not a reflection of the property as a whole. If you don't like feather pillows I would just suggest bringing your own.
- Douglas (6/5): - Was an ok stay, floors were dirty
- Garrett (3/5): Poor -
- Adnan (1/5): Our stay was a really bad experience. The room was - N/A Our room was terrible, not clean at all. The first room we got had bad smell of mold. Second room we got was not clean. There were multiple hair on pillows and bed.
- Daniel (1/5): My stay was horrible - Nothing Everything my stay was horrible
- Janet (8/5): located close to shops and work -
- Karin (10/5): Exceptional -
