- Edwards-Sam (10/5): shower, room and breakfast 5 stars. - I really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the option of having it delivered to my room at a specified time. Room 223 was very large and accommodated our family well. The shower temperature was spot on. The road noise and the lack of blackout blinds.
- Wayne (6/5): Close to the airport but a low budget place to stay. The staff need to care a lot more if they want travellers to return - Location to the airport was exceptional. Access to a laundry that was cheap after a cruise was very handy. Our room smelled of cigarette smoke despite signing an agreement that there was no smoking on site. Our key cards deactivated after 24 hours despite having 2 day booking. Asked for ID when asking to have the key reactivated, which would have been difficult if the ID was in the room. Staff were ambivalent about serving and looked like they didn’t want to be there. Not friendly at all. Our first day ordered breakfast came and despite asking for no bacon, it was on both meals. Sent back and replaced so eventually was ok. There was no second day cooked breakfast offered not any follow up to why we hadn’t ordered. However there was plenty to choose from in the semi buffet breakfast.

I teased Alex(Front desk) they were on their way to a flawless review and then in the morning the Keirig didn't work. Alex, front desk person fixed it. Apparently, there is some piece of plastic that does something weird. He fixed it. he brought it back to the room. Hooked it up, had brought water and another K cup. I had both so he took the extras back, but the coffee maker worked. Excellent customer service. Both van drivers, cared for your safety, very accommodating. I had 2 items that were ORGANIC! hooray-it's the little things that make people smile. I have worked restaurants. My mother worked hospitality her whole life. This was a "flawless" crew.

Our only complaint was that when we arrived late at night, they put us in a room that just had it’s carpet cleaned and it was still very wet and they had the heat on high (our glasses steamed over when we walked in)! When we brought it to the staff’s attention they moved us to the room next door…which again just had its carpet cleaned and was wet. So we had to move a 3rd time to a dry room but it didn’t have a king sized bed that we had booked. The staff member said the would talk to his manager and ask him to give us a reduced rate because of the inconvenience we had with checking in and giving us a smaller bed and after traveling for over 14 hours. But we did not get a discount and there was no more correspondence about the issue from the manager or anyone else.

- traveling_with_kathy (8/5): Nice stay - Stayed 3 nights the end of August. I arrived close to 11:00 pm and one of the night clerks was kind enough to carry my bags to my room on the second floor. No elevators. Quiet hotel. No noise from other rooms. My room had a tub/shower, microwave, Keurig and little fridge. It was quite warm for Juneau - mid to high 70s - so my room got super hot and stuff. No AC. There is a desktop fan and the window open to bring in some fresh air. Located only minutes from the airport. Breakfast is included with in the lobby or the day before you can order to be delivered at your door. It was a nice touch to have all the beautiful hanging baskets throughout the property.

The rooms have been recently updated and have all the amenities you need. The front desk employees were very nice and helpful. They gave us an early check-out and we had convenient free shuttle rides to and from downtown and to the airport. The drivers were waiting in the lobby for us for our 3.30!am shuttle. A very good option to stay in Juneau particularly given the poor condition of some of the downtown hotels.

It is small so book as early as possible, but every corner, of the dining, reception area and the rooms are well maintained and clean and modern right up to the flowers outside every room! The staff is professional and very accommodating. I've stayed in all kinds of hotels and motels and for my money when in Juneau, this was like going home!

They provided exceptional, friendly service, the beds were comfy and they provided everything we needed to help us have a wonderful and convenient stay! The breakfast was a great way to start the day- either a hot breakfast delivered to our room or a continental breakfast in the lobby (My son and husband liked the burritos among other things) and they had fruit, snacks, water and coffee in the lobby all day long. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was that, not only did they provide shuttle service to the airport and to the ferry terminal, they also offered a shuttle to and from Juneau.

- 261christopherw (10/5): Comfortable quiet room close to the airport - Room was a little tight for 2 adults but worked well. Nicely appointed: frig, microwave, coffee machine, small table and 2 chairs, good lighting and bathroom. Good hot breakfast delivered promptly to our room. Also a nice continental breakfast. Wifi worked well and easily. We found the beds and pillows to be nicely comfortable. Hotel shuttle picked us up promptly and easily despite being given an incorrect address of the non-standard disembarkation dock by the cruise line. Shuttle to the airport at 3:45am (!!) was easy, fast and pleasant. Very friendly and effective staff. The environment is a bit noisy during the day (mostly helicopters) but gratefully quiet at night. About 0.2 miles to the airport, easy 0.7 mile walk to Safeway grocery store, a few steps to Valley Restaurant (no frills, locals, food was plentiful and good), a few more steps to Donna's Restaurant and a few others.

- StefanOlouve (4/5): Ripoff. 365 for a dark, smelly room, - $360 for this? An outdated, smelly dark room in a sketchy part of town . The staff were nice but this is far too high for this older property. All the furniture in the room was worn out, especially the bed. The location is not great either, not a safe area after dark, not safe for a female ever. Lots of homeless frequent the area, and some even sleep in their cars on the back side of the hotel.

- Tim (1/5): Best Western did not use lube when they bent me over - Location to airport is grewt Overpriced...price gouging for what is provided for aure. Further, the front desk person smelled of marijuana and was seemingly upset that my checking in was taking him away from his cell phone. The game freezer was full and fish boxes were left outside. They was also an unannounced charge for utilizing the freezer despite that some people had boxes left outside of it. Simply put the hotel takes advantage of people because they can...it's not the Ritz Carlton...it's a best western price gouging. Don't stay here!!!
- Mary Lou (8/5): Juneau - The only negative is no elevator, so if on second floor & have suitcases you have to lug them up & down the stairs. Positive is VERY close to airport - less than 5 minutes by their free shuttle. The free shuttle will also pick you up at the cruise debarkation terminal or the downtown area.

- Travel_Buff_BL (8/5): Nice little hotel, but be informed - This is a very nice hotel, located within walking distance to the airport. (But it also has a shuttle). It was very clean and the people were nice. However, be aware that there is no elevator to the second floor and we really struggled getting our very large suitcase up the flight of stairs. There is no air conditioning and we were there on a fairly cool rainy summer night, but I think it could get warm. The room was basic and a bit dated, as expected, but had a good bed and shower, and a fridge and microwave. There is cute little locally owned diner right next door. We would stay here again as long as we had a 1st floor room, and knew it would be a cool evening.

- Joncas (10/5): Exceptional - It was very clean and well maintained. Beautiful flower pots and hanging baskets. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They also offered a free 24 hr shuttle service which was extremely helpful. I would definitely stay here again🙂

- MedicG (10/5): A great place to stay! - I love this place. Nice and clean, with the friendliest most helpful staff you will find. They were very responsive to our needs. The shuttle service was great and is an awesome benefit to staying here. We will definitely stay here again if we can. To the owners, Thanks for picking great staff to work your front desk, they were all friendly and very helpful. They all seem to genuinely enjoy their job. The only complaint I have is that our bed was quite firm and feels like it might be time to replace it. Not horrible but not very plush, but that can be a personal preference as well. Thanks for a great stay!

- Sandra (8/5): Very good - Was impressed with breakfast being delivered to the room. Location was perfect for our needs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was as expected. Room had an odder of dampness which we believe was due to the condensation on the toilet tank which is very common issue in Juneau due to climate. Hose on handheld shower head was damaged so when you moved it round it would kink and water flow would cut off.
