- Scott (9/5): We enjoyed the easy going attitude. - Location, lay out,"parking close". Breakfast was way above average. View was fun. Noise from the hi way.
- Kathy (10/5): - Friendly staff Keys didn’t work on exit doors.
- Kathie (10/5): -
- Schell (8/5): -
- Michael (9/5): The stay was great, but wildly expensive. Averaged$163 per room per night? That’s a lot - Very clean and nice location.
Quiet and pleasant stay. For the price, it would be nice to at least have bathroom cleaning and supplies daily. They were prompt when asked, so not too bad.
- Alfaro (9/5): Comfortable - Very clean, well- maintained, pretty, great service
- Wendy (7/5): -
- Christine (9/5): - Nice room. difficult to shower since the showerhead did not mount to the wall, no "lip" to keep the water in the shower area
- Michael (5/5): - Great location, clean rooms! We do not mind spending extra with an included breakfast. The breakfast was cheesy fake eggs and biscuits and gravy. I am lactose and gluten intolerant. This was not up to par for your guest.

- David (10/5): - A+. Rex was great
- Glenn (10/5): Hard to Find/Easy to Enjoy - Nice place but your sign by the highway needs to be lighted!
- JOHN (8/5): - Decent place. Prob the best place to stay in town.
- Mark (9/5): -
- Alan & Liz (8/5): Good stop on Great River Road - Good location to start our Great River Road drive! Breakfast was disappointing.
- Tim (10/5): - Too expensive, we didn’t receive any discounts, which to us $189 do 1 night of sleeping I think is ridiculous!!!
- John (10/5): - A real gem. It was a great comfortable room well appointed and staff was great too.
For a new name hotel it was one of the best nights sleep I’ve ever had.
- Brenda (10/5): - Very clean hotel. Free shuttle to Poopys Bar was great and Rex, the shittle driver is a great guy. Highly recommend if you stay in this area.
- Moore (7/5): -
- william (9/5): -
- Susan (10/5): - Great breakfast
- tim (10/5): Clean and comfortable - Nice clean and comfortable room. Pet friendly hotel. Just outside of town tucked away on a hill with a view. Very clean outside as well. McDonald’s and a gas station in walking distance at the bottom of the hill.
- Brad (10/5): Ride to Poopy’s - The location of the hotel was very convenient and close to all of the places we wanted to check out. The rooms were very clean and spacious, as was the hotel and property. The shuttle services provided to and from the different hot spots was a nice perk and “Rex” our driver added a lot of fun and humor to our trip. We would definitely stay here again!
- Ted (10/5): Short Stay - We had a very late checkin (after midnight), but were greeted with a big smile & welcomed. Parking was non-existent, however we were directed to park close to the building for our convenience. We were gone by 10 am, but have stayed here before & will again - thanks !
- Pat (10/5): - Very nice and clean. Beds are comfortable.
- Kelley (10/5): - We stayed two nights this was our second time at this hotel . The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very clean!

- Jean (7/5): -
- Regina (10/5): Very nice and great location - Close to Poopy’s Clean and well maintained
- Lynn (2/5): - If you are going to stay with a service animal. They charge the extra 20.00 dollars a dat and the only rooms you will get have twin beds.
- Aubri (10/5): - Great place to stay!
- Kaylie (8/5): - The rooms were clean just a little outdated. The toilet handle needed to be held a while to make it flush. Loved that it was pet friendly and that it was right near nice places for hiking. If you’re visiting galena it’s a cheaper place to stay still relatively close by. Breakfast was the same on both days of my stay but offered enough variety that it was totally fine. Would stay again!
- kristina (8/5): - I loved this property mainly for the fact that it had a deck looking out over the Mississippi River and bridges it was absolutely beautiful and the rooms were ver nice pretty little tree patches for the view from our windows was very nice

- Warren (10/5): - Alway a nice stay there.
- Sue (10/5): - Your breakfast was not enjoyable. Most places have scrabbled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles. We went and ate somewhere else. For the price of rooms your breakfast should be top notch.
- Aimee (10/5): -
- Donald (10/5): - Very nice place. My room was nice, good size , and very clean. It was very quiet, the hotel was booked solid and I never heard a thing !
- Deborah (10/5): - Great stay
- Edita (8/5): - Stuff is great. Room is overpriced . Very quite . Good food . Bed and pillows amazing . Bathroom without sink not good .
- Bryan (10/5): - This place made for a great stay. Parked the motorcycle and they gave us a ride to and from poopys at no charge.
- Kindra (8/5): - Kinda pricey for a hotel comparable to a $100 hotel. The breakfast was minimal.
- Duran (7/5): Good -
- Jeremy (9/5): Superb - Proximity to other places we visited was nice. They allow dogs, I love dogs, I do not live listening to dogs bark while we are trying to sleep.
- Dennis (6/5): - Room smelled. Needing updated
- Robert (8/5): - Weekday breakfast was cake donuts and apples. Better than nothing.
- Brian K (2/5): - Accused of smoking in the room never stay again
- Joe (6/5): - Bathroom door wouldn't latch, beds could use an upgrade. For a $200 a night room, it needs a bit of TLC
- Jack (10/5): - Very nice place to stay
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional - clean no daily maid service, no hot tub.
- Jacqueline (4/5): - Barely sleep with the noise coming from the next door we paid a expensive room in a half start hotel
- Jennifer (10/5): - very nice staff. good breakfast. clean rooms.
- Rosie (10/5): - Hotel is very nice, rooms are very clean and staff very friendly
- Janecek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexis (10/5): Great hotel - Front desk people were very nice and helpful. Great service for the shuttle bus and the driver.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Great room
- Curtiss (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mcgreal (7/5): Good - Everyone was very friendly. Our bed was very comfortable. Our room smelled a little musty and the outlets by the bed were so loose they were unusable.
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional - Location and clean Nothing
- Chris (9/5): Superb - At most hotels i stay at there are outlets on the nightstand where you can charge your phone. This hotel did not have that. Had to search for an outlet that wasn’t being used.
- Sabedra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Teresa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janice (7/5): Overpriced but clean - Room was comfortable. Was a stop only on a road trip. The location was a distance from any place to eat, unless you want McDonald’s or are prepared to drive. We had already driven a long way that day so was the last thing we needed. All the hotels we have stayed in en-route have been more than happy to allow us early check-in if the room was ready. Here we were asked to pay an extra $15 even though room was ready. I said we would wait outside and then it was offered at $10 more. We were hot and tired so paid it but honestly the place as about double in price already when compared to other better places we’ve already stayed and they have more to offer in the surrounding area too.
- Andrei (10/5): - Very nice and quiet place.
- Lesli (8/5): - Nice property - good location for our visiting relatives in Mt Carroll
- Aaron (7/5): Good -
- Barbara (10/5): - all the above

- Jenny (9/5): Superb -
- Chrissy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -

- Denise (10/5): - Well suited for bikes and close to downtown savanna
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (10/5): We had a very nice time. - Nice location, comfortable bed and pillows! One of the key cards didn’t work on the outside door, we had two so it wasn’t a problem.
- Kim (10/5): - I look forward to returning next year
- Larry (9/5): Superb -
- Steven (10/5): - Very clean!
- Laurie (10/5): Great place and very quiet - Good selection and nice I thought the price was a bit high!?
No selection in town so businesses increase their prices
- Samantha (10/5): - Great staff, clean rooms, very accommodating and a super fabulous free breakfast!!!
- Henry (9/5): Superb -
- chris (10/5): - While it does not have a river view, it is VERY close to the river. It's also along some historical routes nearby. The breakfast area was quite spacious, with a standard of biscuits and gravy.
- Kurt (8/5): - Very nice hotel for the price
- Dennis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amy (8/5): - Convenient location. Very disappointing that the hot tub has been closed the last 2 times we stayed there.
- Chelse (8/5): Very good -
