Guest Reviews
- Megan (4/5): Horrible n waste of money - The one lady was nice The bed was hard the price i was way over charged
- Russ (8/5): -
- Tracy (3/5): This motel should not have your name on it. -
- Magdelane (8/5): -
- Magdelane (6/5): -
- Nev (6/5): OK for an overnight - Convenient for an overnight stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Room had string air freshener smell which was unpleasant
- Claudeen (6/5): I'd not stay here again - Breakfast was minimal
Building is in serious need of upgrading
Room smelled like old urine
Bed was comfortable
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The desk clerk made it clear that she would not be available after 20:00 PM because she was the only one there and needed her sleep. The shower head is below my chin (I’m 6 feet tall). The tub is very slippery and potentially dangerous, especially with the soft water in that area. The room was not cleaned or bed made during my three night stay.
- James Thrift (7/5): Easy stay, great staff - Nice lady at the front desk. Good price. Nothing to complain about except the North Dakota flies lol.
- Brandee (2/5): - I usually have had no issues staying here, however when I went up for
- Bruce (6/5): - Just a typical motel. Nothing special about it
- Samantha (6/5): - The property is in dire need of an update. The carpet is old and starting to curl in the corners, the ac looks like they are from the 80’s, and the showers are not meant for tall people (had to squat to wash my hair). It was clean but the smell was old musky and our ac started to smell like urine. If you are in a pinch and need a place to stay it’ll work.
- Baron (8/5): -
- Kevin (10/5): Good overnight stay - Stayed for a night before Sturgis the next day. Older property that needs updating. Great staff, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple, toast, boiled eggs, yogurt etc and biscuits and gravy were good . Would stay here again if passing through.
- Diane (4/5): - People were hanging out all over around the hotel grounds. Room smelled of must. Parking was limited so we had to park on the street.
- Sheryl (2/5): - Would recommend passing this one by…the carpet was terrible, the room had a heavy musty smell, the security latch was broken and the entry to the building was not secured at night. It was full, and given the cost which was not cheap, you’d think they could do some upkeep. I’ve stayed in many Super 8s and they’ve all been better than this one!
- Johannes (8/5): Very good -
- Albert (4/5): - the place was very run down need lots of work floor
covering very worn out not very welcoming
- Susan (8/5): - No handicap facilities. Stairs both up and down. Room was clean and breakfast was good
- Mark (4/5): - Hotel sucks. Its dirty, old, and smells. The free breakfast was boiled eggs. Thats it. I would have been better sleeping in my car at the rest area
- Linda (7/5): Good - Clean $20 per dog pet fee too much
Should be 1 pet fee. Nicer places charge $15 for dogs , not per dog.
- LouLou (10/5): Friendly, good value - Hotel was just right and good price. Front desk staff really made us feel welcome. Breakfast was great!
- Paul (6/5): - Not luxury but good place at a good price
- james (2/5): Overfilled and yelled at by owner - Checking in was the easy part. After that, it all went down from there. Went to our room and dropped off luggage, went for a bite. We got back and noticed someone had gained access to our room, the heat was turned on full. We were also billed 3 times. The owner called and actually yelled at me on the phone when I asked for them to refund the over billing. Never staying at any Super 8 again.
- Russell (8/5): - Close to work
- David (2/5): not going to stay there again - breakfast was no I would not call it that. breakfast the help the help waking up ofter you are in bed
- Dale (8/5): It was alright. - Breakfast was alright. Thank you Dale A little more variety for the breakfast.
- Dale (8/5): Very good - The breakfast was alright for the size of the area.
- Garth (5/5): Overpriced - Bring back the waffles Room felt cold all the time

Owner/manager was very friendly and inviting
- Linda (10/5): Front Desk is wonderful. Thank you! -
- Susan (8/5): - It was all good until the person who checked me spoke of breakfast. “It goes from 6-9, but if no one shows up by 7:30, I close it down.” Not the hospital was looking for.
- Anndi (1/5): I went across the street to a much cleaner hotel. - Did not stay. The hotel smelled awfu. Walked in and walked out with-in 5 minutes. I asked for a cancelation. It has not been processed. The smell, it is old ran down. It waw a poor choice I made booking this hotel online. I hope they refund me.
- Wawryk (6/5): Pleasant -
- John (10/5): - Great place for a one night stay, large and clean rooms
- Marty (9/5): Superb -
- Harm (10/5): - Very friendly owner who gave use lots of useful advise for our roadtrip. Rooms were very clean. Very good stay when planning a roadtrip
- Darrell (8/5): Very good -
- Mary (8/5): Very good -
- Cynthia (7/5): Average - Breakfast was ok. Carpet is old and doesn’t appear the cleanest. Listed with queen bed, but they were full size! Mattress wasn’t comfortable. Arrival day was hot. When we opened room door, it smellled “hot” and was warm. Air cooling/heating was set on heat and the device had hair and dust on the screen portion. It didn’t work properly as you had to keep resetting it to get it to cool.
- william (6/5): - The clerk was inexperienced, so it took longer to check in. The parking area was too narrow, and lacking enough defined spaces. The interior general areas was drab. However, the room that we had was fine. OK for a 1-night stay.
- Lois (4/5): Disappointing -
- Donetha (8/5): Good but pricey - Super friendly. Clean. Pricey
- Catherine (8/5): - It was a late night arrival. The staff were friendly and helpful
- Alexis (10/5): - A good place to rest and be refreshed. Great front desk and good breakfast. A value for the $
- Andrew (10/5): - staff were great, like folks you would have over for dinner. clean, painted nice, very nice rooms
- Kandra (10/5): Bowman excursion - It was adequate
- John (6/5): - It was neat and clean
- Michaela (4/5): - The staff was friendly, but that’s about all this hotel has going for it. The mirror was on the floor when we walked in our room, we had to change the sheets because we found a lot of body hair, and the milk at breakfast was frozen and much if the breakfast offerings need to be refreshed because it was old or stale.
- Craig (10/5): - The room was great. The young lady running the place was amazing.
- Russell (8/5): - Close to where i eantef to be
- Ilyas (6/5): Pleasant -
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Clean , Friendly Staff ! Everything was Great
- David (8/5): OK - OK OK
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - Friendly Staff.
- William (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (7/5): Good -
- Jim (10/5): IT WAS DECENT, CLEAN, NICE SMALL RESTRAUANT CLOSE TO IT. - tHE FRONT DESK WORKER WAS THE BEST, VERY FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE SCREEN ON OUR WINDOW NEEDS FIXING, COULDN;T OPEN WINDOW BECAUSE OF IT.
- Melanie (9/5): Superb - The bed was so comfortable and the staff was great Not a lot going on in bowman ND
- Sarah (7/5): Good -
- Charley (4/5): Okay - Location We got locked out of our room - manager had to break the lock.
- Rual (10/5): - I stayed in this wonderful hotel one night. I had never been to North Dakota in my life and my stop in Bowman will forever be remembered because of this amazing and kind staff. Two women, one of which is named Laura, front desk brunette and the other dark black hair, were the best. They even waved me out of town up on that hotel hill. Until we meet again. Thank you.
- Huang (7/5): Good - Location Hard to connect WiFi.
- Wawryk (7/5): Good -
- Donald (8/5): Just fine - Our hostess Maryanne was great
- Shelly (6/5): - Older property but clean
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -
- mike (8/5): - Nice motel and very comfortable, clean room.
- Jolynn (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable, clean, friendly Breakfast could of been better
- Bruna (7/5): Good -
- Jannarae (7/5): Good - Wasn't what we thought it would be, not much choice. ask for ground floor and their was no ground floor had to go down steps or up steps and no elevator, and very steep steps at that. People was nice but can't do the steps so won't be staying there again.
- Daniel (7/5): Good -
- Arthur (6/5): - Cost takes came off the wall in both the rooms we rented. Simply attached to the drywall not in a stud.
- Gregory (10/5): Basic but perfectly nice - Comfortable bed; slept well.
- Jack (8/5): Very good - An ideal pit stop for anyone driving through the Dakotas, comfortable, clean and staff very friendly for a very reasonable price, highly recommend
- Amelia (10/5): good location, recommend if visiting Bowman, ND - good location. comfy bed. there was a popcorn in the microwave. maybe from previous guest
- Margaret (7/5): A Stop on the Road - Based on the outside of the hotel, I was a bit worried about staying here but our room was clean and comfortable. The biggest asset this place has is the receptionist!! I sure hope Super 8 is paying her enough!! Honestly, when we pulled into the parking, the place does not look very inviting. We had to look twice to find the entrance. It really needs a facelift.
- St.angelo (10/5): Exceptional -
- TL (4/5): - Hotel is deserted, only a few guests, off season. Requested a room with a sunrise view, was told I only booked a single bed room, so NO. No offer to switch rooms for an increased cost, just flat NO!
Mgmt was cold, unfriendly, seemed put out to have to deal with me.
No breakfast, only apple/orange and cold cereal. They have a microwave, but there is nothing offered to use it for.
No Laundry room, although it was listed in the description, and we had planned on doing laundry at this stop.
Mgmt said they have a laundry 'service' but at 530pm it was already too late in the day. Check-in is at 3pm, does this mean you have a 2hr window to get laundry "service".
Asked about somewhere to eat dinner, was told by mgmt "all restaurants will be closed today", (its monday at 530pm), so we went to a grocery store for dinner.
Overall a very disappointing stay, not a good look for Bowman.
- Joseph (10/5): - Friendly staff. Very clean. Nice.
- Daniel (2/5): - .
- Yvette (7/5): Good -
- Daniel (4/5): - The wifi was down. The staff said it was the weather, but tge hotel and the gas station both had it across the street. The staff said the wifi is iffy all the best of times. I don't think they should be able to include it i their amenities if it isn't reliable
- Donald (2/5): - rented thru expedia site said it had pool breakfast and wifi .no pool breakfast was out of everything and you could not connect to the wifi had to go to the motel next door end use there's the bed sheets had black hairs all over them the towels were yellow overall bad experience
- Mike (9/5): The ladies working the front were excellent, helpful, and super friendly - I liked that it was right in town and within easy distance of food/stores! I was there to hunt pheasants and I really appreciated that there was a freezer there for us to store our birds
- Gordon (10/5): - Clean and comfortable.
- Craig (7/5): It was good. - I didn't have breakfast. Too expensive. I found a less expensive room for our next trip to Bowman in November.
- Michael (6/5): - The hotel needs a remodel. It is very old. The staff was friendly but they are short on employees.
- Mike (10/5): Very friendly staff. Clean facility. - The breakfast was very good. Nice to have it available. Unfortunately we had a dog barking outside our room. They did quiet down by about 10:00 pm.
