Guest Reviews
- Amit (10/5): Great location! - The property is clean, well maintained, is in an excellent location near The Village.
- kim a. (8/5): Great location! - Great location good house.
- Mary (4/5): family vacation - Im not satisfied because the beddings and the mattress looks old and our room doesnt have a blinds so we dont really have privacy. And the furniture looks old as well the couch.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We enjoyed the location of where it was at and we liked the old school style of the condo.
- Trenton (8/5): Great condo - The reservation office was very helpful and easy to work with. The property manager, Andrew, was overly helpful and friendly... Especially when it came to clearing snow.
- Michael W. (10/5): - Amazing
- Susan (10/5): Ideal location - The location and just the fact that you are basically in a hope made it ideal for a family vacation. We are already planning our return next summer (and want to stay in VDI).
- Israel (8/5): Great for a big group - It has 3 rooms, 2 with a queen bed and another with a bunk bed that's great for 1 kid on top and 2 on bottom. The living room also has a sofa bed. It's next to a big shopping mall with restaurants, bars and shops, so you have options to dine just by walking through a nice bridge. It was clean and well preserved, we did not experience noise from outside.
We did not know thtat 2 rooms are below, so you have to go down a staircase that was somewhat tilted. After a big hike it was a challenge to go up and down those stairs.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The condo smelled like cigarette smoke despite being nonsmoking supposedly. It was awkward because the condo was full of personal family photos and items. It did not feel or look very clean. It had a lot of space but it did not match the standards I expect. I do not plan to book through this place again and will be very careful to make sure any place I book is AAA approved.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great place to stay for groups, next to village - Great place to stay, my 2nd time there. The jacuzzi is lukewarm and is only on after 4 pm. The manager told us the jacuzzi brok on our last night there, pretty disappointed. Coffee maker did't work either. Other than those little hickups, I would highly recommend staying here for a great Mammoth experience. Right on the ski-back trail and next to the village.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great location for a Mammoth weekend. - Not a bad place. Good value for its proximity to the village.
- Verified traveler (4/5): If you are looking for a clean room, not this one. - Dated furniture and very old carpet. Noisy heater.
- chris (8/5): Nice Condo near town and lakes - Nice Condo close to town, shopping, restaurants and lakes. Everything with in a great area.
- Annie (8/5): Great Place for Family Vacation - I booked the condo through Expedia but it had to go through a local reservation bureau in order to finalize the reservation. A few days before the trip I called the reservation bureau to ask for check-in instructions and was told that my reservation was cancelled. I was pretty mortified since our family was all ready to go. It turned out that since I made date changes to my original reservation, there was a mishap. Regardless, the reservation bureau fixed the problem and put us in a condo in the Fireside at the Village community. The condo is walking distance from the village and we stayed in #311.
Check-in was a breeze and we really liked the condo. We had six adults and 4 children with us and had plenty of room. The reservation came with 2 parking spaces but the local property manager did not hesitate when we asked if we could have one more spot because we came in 3 cars. Our stay was very pleasant and we had a fun time visiting the nearby lakes and the typical tourist areas. Even though there was the mishap with our reservation, I was pleased with the way things were sorted out and would definitely visit again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Roomy, comfortable - Nice place to stay. The unit needs some TLC though. Most of the outlets did not work. The bedding and towels were old, but clean. The staff was very responsive when we had trouble with the dvd player and wifi. Great location!
- Sofia (8/5): Great location! - Very nice condominium! Located next to the Village at Mammoth. I liked the view of the mountains and forest. Nice large living room, two story condominium with two baths, three bedrooms and kitchen. We enjoyed the jaccuzzi, sauna and pool! Exelent price! I will definitely recomend it!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Mammoth getaway trip!! - Condo was nice great location by the village shopping and food. Staff very helpful with getting us stuff we needed ..walking distance to most things in town. :)
- Verified traveler (8/5): Val d'Isere by Mammoth Reservation Bureau #20 - nice place Stay Near Canyon Lodge. Good price relative to other options
- Amy (10/5): Summer Family Getaway! - This was a beautiful condo! The condo itself was immaculate, everything was there that we needed. The area was quiet, and very friendly. The grounds are well taken care of. LOVED the Jacuzzi and pool, as well as access to the BBQ on the pool deck. The location of the condo was great, we were within walking distance of Mammoth Village and could take the shuttle to the main lodge (free of charge) to ride the gondola or take the other shuttle to the Red's Meadow area. The stay was amazing! Would definitely stay there again :)
