- Christopher (10/5): Great place great staff clean rooms - Clean staff was A++++++++++++
- Renee (10/5): Will return - Very clean, very comfortable and pet friendly
- Bolton (4/5): - The staff were very nice and did their best to help and accommodate us with our needs. Especially Aleshia. She was amazing. The pool and hot tub were broken and the outside grounds were trashed. Garbage everywhere. Outlets in our first rooms126/129 didn't work.
- Hill Sr. (8/5): - Good value. Room comfortable easy to find. A A few items appear worn. But overall a nice place to stay.
- Marcediez (7/5): - The waffle maker was delicious and the staff was very helpful and nice I was sad the hot tub wasn't working, the pool was a bit dirty, and our sheets were very stained and nasty
- Lyle (8/5): Overall our stay was pleasant. - Did not eat the breakfast. Wife enjoyed the pool. No elevator for the second floor
- Penny (10/5): -

- Tim (4/5): It needed to be updated although it was clean - Clean but worn out Worn out
- Jacob (10/5): -
- Allison (8/5): Decent place to stay for and overnight. - Clean, quiet, good size room with large fridge. Pool, hot tub and fitness room looked decent though we didn’t use them. Breakfast had some fresh fruit and whole grain cereal. Loved the funky postcard left in the room for us. If you are expecting anything “Grand” you won’t find it.
- Diane (9/5): Very nice stay for the price. -

- Rice (10/5): Great service perfect great breakfast - I like that the staff was very friendly and always had a smile and great service when we asked for 2 more pillows they looked everywhere and still found us the 2 extra pillows The only thing I don't like was I did book a room there under James Rice off of trivago and all your rooms were overbooked and haven't gotten a refund yet and trivago said they sent them a message and haven't heard back from them
- Rudd (10/5): -
- Jenny (4/5): Its a place to sleep - Good location, quick check in. Hard bed...hard. 1 star.
- Drake (1/5): - Nothing Hot tub didn’t work
- Penny (10/5): Very good - Very good experience overall!
- Catherine (10/5): Very good - Worth every penny!
- Kylie (10/5): Enjoyable - Clean room and friendly staff!
- Shoff917 (5/5): Worked for the night - Booked the room 30 minutes before arriving. Last minute emergency stay. For $104 it was a value you can't find anymore. Check in took way to long. New desk person I and another guest stood there for 30 mins waiting to be checked in.
Beds were uncomfortable rock hard stiff and our bathroom floor was filthy.
Hottub was down.
The heater gave us a bad burning smell so we slept chilly.
- Luz (9/5): -
- Elizabeth (8/5): - Great breakfast! Friendly and helpful staff
- Kevin (10/5): -
- EDDA (6/5): - The breakfast options was very limited
- Kenneth (7/5): - Bigger rooms. Nice place. Only game in Evart. Wi fi did not work at all in some upstairs rooms. staff seemed surprised about the lack of WiFi signal, but took no action.
Breakfast a little skimpy, but seemed very few people staying there.
- Hawkins (7/5): -
- Terry (4/5): - The hotel needs to be updated. I would have thought it was much older. The toilet was so low we could barely get up off of it. Telephone didn't even have a cord attached to it. Wifi was very minimal - had to go to front desk to even log in. The bed was similar to sleeping on a bed of rocks. The front desk staff wasn't helpful or very friendly. We would not return here - would rather drive farther.
- James (10/5): - If booking through Expedia make sure you tell the clerk what you booked! Seems the system automatically gave us a double queen vice the single king we booked online! I will always double check as I check in at the desk from now on. The room was great and the staff was accommodating when I pointed out the discrepancy! Very professional!!! Great experience! Will stay here again.
- William (10/5): - Great
- Amy (6/5): - Check in was easy. Problem is I reserved a king bed room and was given a double queen room. Was told there was nothing they could do as they were sold out, and I booked months ago! When in fact my sister booked her king bed room a day after I did and she got a king room. If I’m paying $100+ a night for a room I chose I expect to have that room!
The hot tub was broke and was stuck with the jets on constantly we couldn’t even sit in it at a casual rest as they were so high, we couldn’t hear each other talk, and it wouldn’t shut off, the timer is broke. The snack machine barely had anything in it, and some items read $2 while other items of the same degree were 34 cents lol the room smelled of BO there was hair in the shower on the walls. The bed was uncomfortable even some parts you could feel the metal framing in the mattress.
- donald l. (8/5): - Enjoyed the access to the bike path.
- Ann (10/5): - Clean. Friendly. Dated;but, I don’t care about that since it is clean, friendly, and safe.
Hot tub was a little bit of a disappointment because it’s more of a warm bath water no hard jet not super hot. But it feels good after a long drive.
- Paul (6/5): - The property is pretty dated. There were gaps in trim that allowed for mold to settle in. The TV was very small with tinny sound. The room fridge didn't work half tmof the time and they left a half roll of toilet paper no reserves. Had to go down to the desk to get more. They might want to consider cleaning behind beds and nightstands etc..
- Doris (8/5): - The beds need an upgrade.
- David (6/5): - Its old and tired, but the price reflects that
- Gard (5/5): - Customer service was good The cleaning team needs to start cleaning rooms a little better and start a little later in the day bright and early I woke up from your noise
- Elenor (7/5): -
- Khrista (8/5): - It was very quiet. It needs a little TLC in places, but overall it was good.
- Edward (7/5): -
- matt (8/5): -
- John (8/5): - The beds were hard
- Ty (10/5): - Easy check in/out ,great staff and nice breakfast options.nice place for to lay your head after a fishing trip.
- Mathew (2/5): - I had reserved a King room, when I got to the hotel they told me I had a reservation for 2 queens. Then was told there were no King rooms avail. Room was on 2nd floor, no elevator!! When i got to the room in the bathroom on th e wall next to the toilet there was black mold growing about 4 inches above the cove molding along the whole wall. I took a piece of toilet paper and wiped it just to be sure of what it was. The security doors were not locked to the entrances to the building, anybody could have walked in and had access to the rooms. When I checked out the front desk clerk did not ask how my stay was or if there were any issues. I will be making a report to the Osceola dept of health regarding the mold. I feel that myself or my pet should not have been exposed to something that dangerous that there is no way they did not know it was there and I suspect my room was not the only place that could be found. I will not be booking here again, and will tell anyone I can about this visit.
- Carla (8/5): Ok - It was fine for clean, just not my standard of clean. It's an older hotel and the wear is obvious on walls, carpet and furniture. The Continental Breakfast was all food full of carbohydrates, no meat or high protein options.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The TV did not work, the beds were very uncomfortable, the fan in the bathroom was falling out of the ceiling and the breakfast options were very minimal.
- Herbert (6/5): - Adequate place to stay. Price was good.
- Darlene (10/5): - The lady who did our late check in was very pleasant. Hotel is very quiet.
- Mark (8/5): - I didn't like the floors in the room. Looked dirty
- John (8/5): - The beds were to hard
- CayceCleveland_Ohio (10/5): Great new management. Totally worth the money! - This place has been entirely underrated. We loved it and would go again.
Excellent staff, wonderful beds, nice breakfast, affordable, well location.
Give it a try. You won't be disappointed. Any negative reviews were from previous managers. They are doing a great job!
- Hamilton (9/5): -
- shannon (3/5): - Price was good Hotel could use some updates. when we got here I pulled back the covers of the bed and I found a hair tie in the bed I went to the checkin desk. I told her what I found in the bed. she then said well what do you want me to do about it I replied I don't know she told us that we could move us to a different room if we wanted to so we moved to a different room. The back door to get into the hotel is broken so you don't need a key to get into the hotel and there are homeless people living on the back stairwell they use the back door to get into that's broken.
- Lynn (4/5): - First room we were given smelled terrible, we were moved to another room, which was better but still had a smell. Room was not as clean as it should be, stained calking around the tub, base boards dirty, just felt grimy.
- Zacheryah (2/5): - I took pics of the dirty toilet. Fingerprints on the lamps. Yellow stained pillows. Broken bed. Pubic hairs in the shower. Hair hanging off the blow drier. Toilet paper lent on the floor around the toilet. We stayed for four minuets and thirty eight seconds.
The worse hotel I ever seen. Ever.
- leffingwell (7/5): Had a good stay - Didn't use this service Hotel could use a little upkeep
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very Good vs Not as Good - Bed, cleanliness, and staff excellent.
In room there was o plug for the sink, so how does one ckean and put un contacts? I room pretty, newly carnished door to bathroom, but now both white door frames are spattered with quite a bit of varnish. Our room door knob did not shut completely, but we used the bollt lock, and it provided a locked door. Breakfast room pretty, but only yogurt, coffee and waffles--- I don't like waffles, so not much choice. Housecleaning lady very nice, give her a raise!!
- Verlin and Patricia (8/5): - It was the only option for a 2 day stay in Evart. Easy in and out stay
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I booked a king room and when we checked in was told they have no more king rooms. Not sure why you get to choose room type which is also associated with price and then you don’t get the room type you booked.
- Steven (6/5): - I booked a king room and when we checked in was told they have no more king rooms. Not sure why you get to choose room type which is also associated with price and then you don’t get the room type you booked
- Anita (10/5): wonderful roadside surprise - We happened upon this little town on our way to St. Ignace. We were so surprised to find this gem of a hotel. It was so nice, clean and the people were so friendly. We arrived late, the front desk helped us find a restaurant that was still open and made sure we had everything we needed.
- Mark (4/5): - I give staff high marks for working together to do their best at a poorly managed property. Heavy smoke smell in the first room they gave us (no smoking posted everywhere in the hotel with warning of $150 charge for violation); better but still smoky where they moved us. Room and bathroom fixtures falling off. Carpets dirty. Breakfast pretty thin: no fruit of any description and even no milk on second morning of the stay. WiFi laughably bad—and worse luck, that’s how tv is connected, so tv was spotty to nonexistent. We did not expect luxury, generally travel at 2-star level, but this was one sad experience
- Hyoung (2/5): - When I requested a King-size bed during my reservation, which was clearly an available option, the hotel claimed it was a third-party reservation and denied having any available, despite knowing this beforehand. I am certain I am not the first to complain, but their attitude was unacceptable. The free breakfast was also terrible, limited to bagels and coffee. The waffle machine was broken, and the coffee was lukewarm. The dining options in the area are very limited to pizza, burgers, and other quick-service items. While the town is laid-back and the people are wonderful, the food quality is not good.
I will never go back there again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - There was a nice space for the complimentary breakfast.
- amanda (6/5): - Pool was cold and breakfast was not very much to choose from at all
- Jennifer (1/5): Didn't complete stay checked and out, walked away from a prepaid stay!!! found other accommodations. - The staff were exceptional, very accommodating and professional. The hotel was in a very advance state of aging and disrepair, there weren't signs any effort was being made to correct the state of affairs
- Verified traveler (4/5): poor service - poor service, at checkout, the person checking me out never spoke to me, just gave me my receipt and walked away.
- Cynthia (10/5): - Courteous friendly no pet charge
- Claudia (7/5): Good - Staff was nice. Room was clean Hotel is located in a sketchy area. Lots of loitering nearby.
- Amy (8/5): - Next to the fair & grocery store.
- Tricia (9/5): Superb -
- Sheryl (8/5): Good stay for area! - Bed was comfortable, room was quiet, standard breakfast, clean room
- Linda (4/5): - The staff was friendly and helpful, but the hotel is very outdated and needs new furnishings.
- Pamela (8/5): - The staff were very friendly and polite. Hotel was clean and nice.
- Beth (8/5): - The room were a little outdated but they were clean. The hotel staff were very friendly.
- Darlene (6/5): - Reserved a king bed & got queen beds :/
- Janis (4/5): - We selected this property because it was the only one in the area we were visiting. It is obvious that the property is older with minimal maintenance. Broken light fixture, etc. But we were there for 3 nights with no housekeeping service at all. Not changing the bed was fine but no fresh towels or emptying wastebaskets, etc. When we stopped a person from housekeeping to ask, her comment was she already cleaned our room but when we entered-still trash and wet towels. I would have a hard time recommending this location unless, like us, it was your only alternative
- Gary (8/5): Great hotel for the price - Older hotel which could use some updating but comfortable and clean. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive and would go out of their way to assist in any way. Breakfast was adequate and very fresh.
Would very easily return for another stay.
- Hamdy (8/5): Very nice place with friendly staff. I had the chance to meet the owner who was excellent with guest -
- Donna (8/5): - The staff was friendly and pool and hot tub were both up and running. Close to a sit down restaurant and a dairy bar. Needed a getaway from home last minute, it worked out great
- Michael (6/5): Pleasant - Good location Smelly, beaten up, moldy, needs a lot of maintenance
- Jennifer (4/5): Love the personnel; hate the room - The hotel needed updating and Lobby Furniture needs to be replaced bathroom was dirty bed's not so comfy. The two girls at the front desk were exceptional and went over and Beyond what was called for to help us out
- Ewing (7/5): Overall good. - Pool was warm, hot tub was hot! The mattresses were a bit old and uncomfortable
- Cronkhite (10/5): Exceptional -
- melissa (6/5): - This hotel needs major updates. I stayed for one night passing through. Two of the walls in my room had peeling paint in the corner. From ceiling to about mid way down. The carpeting the upstairs hallway was held together with duct tape. I reserved a king room and was given a room with 2queen beds. The breakfast was average the coffee was very good.
- Michael (6/5): Pleasant - Conveniently located. It needs major updating and the grounds make it look very run down
- Holliday (10/5): We'll be back soon! - The pool and hot tub were wonderful and the room was very clean. We enjoyed our stay very much! There was miscommunication about our need for a first floor room. The front desk resolved the problem to the best of their abilities.
- John (6/5): Motorcycle Trip - The staff appeared to not like their jobs very much. Never smiled and did minimal to help us. The room we think was clean, but it sure looked dirty. I think the hotel needs a remodel. The tape holding the carpet together was tacky.
- Stephen (10/5): Travelling Australians - We stayed 2 nights in a queen room upstairs over the 4th July weekend. The bedwas clean and comfortable the bathroom was fine. We used the pool and the hot-tub which was good also. Some areas are looking like they need attention but overall the price was right for the offering. Breakfast was good with some healthy options.
- Jack (9/5): Will come back again - Breakfast was super. Not
