• Crystal (6/5): Disappointed - Location Our room was very dirty. We stayed here last year and it was much cheaper and much cleaner. There were dead stink bugs everywhere and the carpet and blankets were stained. Definitely needs updates for the price!

• Tonya (3/5): The price did not match what I received - My bed was nice. Breakfast was disappointing, being on a low carb diet there was nothing for me to eat. When I checked in the girl behind the desk, flat out, lied to me. Another gentleman walked in as a walk-in and his price was way lower than my price that I just booked online. And when I inquired, she was saying a bunch of rumblings and then she said oh it’s because we give a hospital discount. The gentleman happened to mention that he was coming to visit his brother at the hospital. The toilet was broken. I had to lift the cover to flush the toilet because the chain was broke. The carpets were extremely stained. The chair upholstery was falling apart.

• Kurt (6/5): - The check-in staff were kind and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. However, one of the factors I look for in hotels is that they offer a free breakfast. For this hotel, the only hot food offered besides the waffle maker was biscuits and gravy. Sadly, they had no hot food to offer a carb-conscious eater, not even eggs, so we had to look for breakfast elsewhere.

• Virgil (2/5): - Bugs first thing on check-in. Pretty sure roaches, but didn’t get a good look. They scurried with the lights. Everything is old, run-down, out-dated. Carpet in room is stained and soiled, not just a little, needs to be replaced. Wallpaper is bubbled and peeling. No vent in bathroom. Beds are very wobbly and not secure. Screw-pops, failing joint tape, lukewarm shower, etc, etc, etc. Charged a premium price because of a local concert going on ($650 for two nights), but easily the worst hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Do not go here.
• Kathryn (6/5): Room 304 - The hotel had a great location with a wonderful view. The room was large and the bedding was clean. The tub faucet leaked all the time, so much that the drain was decaying. The toilet also ran constantly. The carpet in our room was very dirty. The hotel is in need of updates and some TLC. The breakfast was average but once food and drink supply got low it was not restocked. The staff was friendly and helpful.
• Mikhael (9/5): We are a repeat customers because it always meet what we need and it is family friendly. - Location , convenience, price, staff, affordable, breakfast. TV was small. The chairs were old and had holes in one of them.

• Amy (6/5): Great Staff, Rooms Need Attention - The staff at the Quality Inn in Huntington, WV were very nice and very helpful. This review is not a reflection on them. The low rating I'm giving this hotel has to do with how dirty our room (rm 315) was. When we opened the door upon arrival, there was an overwhelming smell that greeted us. The carpet was so stained and dirty that neither my mom, daughter, or I felt comfortable taking our shoes off. On one of the walls there were brown splash marks from possibly coffee or another brown substance. The room felt dirty and grimy. The sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. We did speak with another guest and they said that the rug in their room was not stained, so likely some of the rooms are fine, but I would request not to stay in room 315 if you plan to stay here.
• Kristi (6/5): Overall the stay was ok but I would itbook the same hotel against to the nasty carpet in our room - Location was great and all staff were very friendly & helpful. The room had a very odd smell. We had to open our window which I don’t like doing at hotels. I struggled with the cleanliness rating because the surfaces & bathroom was clean but the carpet was terrible. It smelled bad & was stained everywhere. That alone makes a room feel unsanitary.

• Erin (2/5): Expensive and filthy - The front desk staff on the day we checked out were very pleasant and friendly We paid way too much for the quality of hotel. There were holes and stains on our curtains that didn't even hang correctly. Stains all over the floors, the lotion bottle was half gone when we arrived and there was a used bottle of shampoo on the top corner of the shower when we got there that proves that the shower was not cleaned properly. The faucet handle to the bathroom sink was disgusting (there was dirt all over it)! We didn't feel it was safe to utilize the hot tub or swimming pool due to the yellowish green color of the water! The bath towels smelled like chlorine.

When checking out, no one was at the front desk so it said to call with the phone on the wall, but that phone wasn’t working. We left our key in the counter with hopes it meant we checked out before 10.

The location was close to where I needed to be and they didn't hold us being a bit later against us. The toilet paper was on the roll underside instead of top side. Honestly, it wasn't bad. The bed could have been a bit more comfortable.

• Isaac (5/5): I have nothing to say - Nothing really to write about. No refrigerator or microwave. The water in the bathroom barely got above cold. I like my showers at least lukewarm. You had to beg them to bring food out for breakfast. Once you got the hotel to give you food it was decent.

The hotel is very dated, there was a large stain on the carpet in our room, our wash rags were dirty and the towel rack in the bathroom was rusted. Also the bathroom door was very chipped up. Over all we paid a lot for this hotel per night,we probably wouldn’t stay again.
