- Jacqui (4/5): Cockroach encounter - Check in was easy. It was nice that they gave us a ground floor unit as we had a lot of luggage. The room at first glance was nice. It equipped with a kettle,tea and coffee station as well as a mini fridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful.The position is perfect as its about a 15 minute drive to the airport. The complimentary shuttle service was great. We got to the airport in time. At around 22h00 we first saw 1 cockroach in the room. It progressively got worse. There were cockroaches all over the bed, behind the bed and on the floor. It was disgusting and my kids were freaking out as there cockroaches everywhere! I went to reception and got Doom to kill them. I sprayed but they just came out more. I went back to reception to tell them the doom was not working. The receptionist actually mentioned that it was the 2nd time they had a complaint about that unit! She then offered to move us to another room. The 2nd room was much cleaner and no cockroaches. I was so repelled I did not eat breakfast as I was concerned for health issues.
- Marethabile (1/5): They should revamp the place - Location only It’s like the owner saw an opportunity then grabbed it,the location is perfect and if they can change the old furniture or repaint it at least,the cleaners should also put things nicely,everything is everywhere..and put new floor,proper air conditioners,outside should be painted or something,that place can attract a lot of people especially coz they have a shuttle,it was my first and last stay there

I was late for breakfast before going to the airport and the lady who was serving in the diningroom went out of her way to quickly organize a take away breakfast.. this was hugely appreciated. The comfortable bed and hot shower was a treat after flying for 18hours. The room was very basic but very clean. As a elderly person travelling on my own I felt safe. Definitely value for my money and I will recommend it to other fellow travellers who have to spend a night in Johannesburg. The Yale lock needs to be fixed.. I think my room was number 24 and the shower head could be replaced. I was unable to get the TV to work.

We waren met 4 personen, moeten daarvoor een 3 persoons en een 1persoons kamer boeken en betalen. We hadden uiteindelijk ruimte voor 6 personen, daar werd niks meer mee gedaan. Gewoon betalen. Het beddengoed was versleten en er zaten vlekken in het beddengoed, de bedden waren keihard, de vloer was zo vies dat je er niet met bloten voeten kon lopen, je kan de mensen in de hotelkamer naast je letterlijk verstaan. Het was totaal niet wat we hadden verwacht en waar we voor wilden betalen. Hele slechte accomodatie, nooit weer voor ons.

The room was very clean. The room was great for a short one night stay. The rooms need some maintenance. Stainless steel spoons for the coffee/tea station would also be appreciated, instead of the plastic spoons offered. The door handle to room 38 did not seem very sturdy which made me wonder about safety. There were bugs that came out of the bath drain after a bath was had. Price was maybe a little high when all this was considered.

Ich wurde, aufgrund von Überbelegung, anstatt in eines der gezeigten Zimmer, in ein umfunktionierten Container untergebracht. Im Frühjahr ohne Heizung. Für 800 Rand pro Person viel zu teuer. Transferbedingungen waren nicht transparent. Ab 12 Uhr kostet der Transfer 50 Rand. Frühstück war von der Auswahl und Qualität meiner Meinung nach unterdurchschnittlich.

There was no parking for my vehicle as the other guests had friends over, I had to park my car in a dangerous spot. The security guard promised to call me as soon as a parking spot opened, which never happended, so no sleep for me. Booked a family room for 3 but only had one char. The level of deterioration of the room and fixtures are terrible. Locks broken off the front door. toilet door broken. Curtain hanging sporadic from hooks. the front door also has a safety door. The lock gets stuck. When we had to leave I had to call reception to come unlock us. The breakfast is bare minimum. Not that added touch we usually get from B&Bs.

Its really the only reason to stay there if you want a somewhat affordable option. The room smelt odd, the bedding felt old, the trelli door was sticky, the blinds did not cover the outside light properly, things just felt well used in general and not neat and crisp.

Love that breakfast and shuttle are included in the stay. An overall great overnight stay. Some of the rooms are very basic but neat and clean with friendly staff close at hand to make the stay more pleasant. Not much to complain about.
