Guest Reviews
- Pieter (10/5): We would definitely book with them again. - It was upgraded and clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was very good! Location downtown to restaurants and club was excellent as well. There was nothing we can think of.
- Martha (9/5): - Good breakfast.. pleasant
- Bradley (9/5): - Good location.
Good staff.
Clean and comfortable rooms.
Free breakfast. Car park could be updated.

- Laura (8/5): - Le logement est dans le centre ville avec les commerces autour. La chambre est équipée et confortable.
- Lizzie P (9/5): Great value - Great ambiance and clean room. Laundry facilities were great. The headboards need attention/recovering.
Breakfast was only just satisfactory.
- Anne (10/5): It felt quite luxurious in our beautiful room. - You cannot tell a book from its cover…this is exactly the Grizz Hotel. It looks quite plain & like an office block but inside is very different. It is spotless, beautifully decorated & in a great location. We loved it. Everything was good.😊
- Tegwin (7/5): Well priced, good location, renos obvious. Good value - You can see rhat they have been updating the hotel. Bed was too soft for one of us and cozy for the other. Pillows were TOO HIGH. Lots of TV channels. Breakfast was ok, though no yogurt. No egg cups. See above
- Michele (5/5): Don't use the fridge unless you want popsicle everything - The bed was super comfy and shower was nice. The fridge in my room froze everything solid, including $30 worth of salads, etc. (It was only set at 1/2 coldness). I told the front desk person and he said he would ask his manager to phone me but no call. Breakfast was toast, hardboiled eggs and cereal. There are no counters in the bathroom and no mirrors in the main room, which makes it difficult to do much.
- William (8/5): Great value and good location in downtown Revelstoke. - Great hotel for a one night stay on my drive back home from the coast. It was quiet and comfortable and is situated right downtown in Revelstoke within easy walking distance of restaurants and cafes. The breakfast is nothing special, but adequate if you're not a big eater. I couldn't figure out how to work the TV, but I wasn't there to watch TV.
- Megan (7/5): Reasonable accommodation in good location. - Loved location & decor was interesting.
The male staff at reception was very helpful & friendly. Being on ground floor the noise on ceiling from guests above was quite & annoying!
Breakfast was a little lacking & not enough cutlery available
- Cathy (8/5): Bon hotel pour un court séjour à Revelstoke - Localisation excellente , personnels gentils, chambres bien équipées. Insonorisation faible de la chambre.

- Heather (9/5): Great room, at a good price in a nice quiet location - Lovely large room with the added convenience of a fridge. Good location. Room was very clean and comfortable. No issues
- Macdonald (8/5): All in all we were extremely happy with our stay—it was great value for the money! - The location was perfect for exploring downtown Revelstoke; we could walk everywhere easily. The beds/linens were super comfortable and the room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was par for the course for a continental breakfast—we had a couple boiled eggs, toast and juice to get us on the road. Like with so many hotels, the bed pillows were too high and hard for my personal comfort—I much prefer flatter, softer ones.
- Hitchings (7/5): - Room, bathroom Electrical installation, breakfast
- Dave (8/5): -
- Gisela (9/5): Surpassed my expectations for the quality of property at this price point. Would stay again. - Excellent value for money. the premises were surprisingly spacious and decor was much better than I had expected for the price. I had expected a very basic 'continental breakfast, but it included eggs, and dining area was very pleasant and spacious. The wall between my room and the next definitely transmitted noise, but thankfully my neighbor didn't make much.
- Christophe (10/5): -
- Kyla (9/5): Overall would recommend. - Close to everything in town. Breakfast was good. Room was big and clean. Windows fogged up in between the panes restricted our view of outside.
- Steve (10/5): - Very clean, close to the main restaurants. Staff very friendly. Wish the breakfast had more than toast, hard boiled eggs and cereal. Would be nice to have yogurt and muffins.
- Diane (8/5): -
- Susan (7/5): -
- Laurent (10/5): Super agréable - Très confortable Rien
- Dave (8/5): -
- Paul (8/5): It was as expected - Outstanding central location. Parking was easy. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The price represented good value for money.
Overall the hotel met our expectations and we would stay there again but not for longer than a couple of nights. Breakfast was very basic - cereals, toast, orange quarters, boiled eggs of questionable cooking date and hot drinks. We gave the eggs a miss, the rest suited us well enough.
- Ian & Angela (1/5): This hotel is not safe - it has staff who are thieves! Staying here was traumatic. - Good location. Room was fine except it didn’t have a safe, which is definitely needed with this staff and management! On February 27/26 when I was away from my room (102) skiing, my valuable jewellery was stolen from inside my suitcase. (The room didn’t have a safe.) The police (RCMP) reviewed the CCTV footage and advised me that only one person - a staff member - entered my room while I was gone. No staff should have been in my room (never mind digging through my luggage) as we had not requested housekeeping. Hotel management appears to be complicit in this and possibly other thefts at the Grizz - why else would this thief still be working at the hotel instead of being fired? It is also suspicious to me that the GM will not respond to my letter to him. Perhaps the offending employee is a friend or family member? DO NOT STAY HERE AS YOU AND YOUR BELONGINGS WON’T BE SAFE.
- Vineet (7/5): - Liked the interiors, polite and friendly staff, great location and breakfast The breakfast could use some sausages, scrambled eggs. One of the member of staff could be more welcoming and friendly
- Janet (10/5): We stay there every time we are in Revelstoke - Very close to the sports plex Clean and priced good
- Douglas (8/5): -
- Qun (8/5): -
- AlbertaKerrs (2/5): Do not stay here - this hotel is not safe! - On February 27, 2026, my jewellery was stolen from inside my luggage in Room 102 of the Grizz Hotel. (Rooms do not have a safe for valuables.) No staff should have been in my room as we had NOT requested housekeeping. Police reviewed CCTV footage and advised me that only one person – a hotel employee – had entered my room while we were away. This employee was questioned promptly by police but as of April, he remained employed by the Grizz.
Despite my writing to the GM of the Grizz to discuss compensation and ask why the thief has not been fired, I have heard nothing. I am concerned that the thief is a friend or family member of the hotel management/owners, who may be complicit in stealing from their guests.
Do not risk your belongings or your privacy, or if you are alone in this hotel, your personal safety!
- Hermione (6/5): Grimzz - The room was really clean. Breakfast was minimal and its really dated.
- Captain Stan (7/5): Good - Location! Breakfast was minimal - no yogurt and just boiled eggs but good selection of cereals.
- Minkhorst (9/5): - Prijs kwaliteitsverhouding
- Pedlar (9/5): Great stay as usual! - Hotel was great, have stayed a few times and am never disappointed! Breakfast is a great bonus to the comfy beds and great location!
- Karen (10/5): Excellent - Cleanness Every single thing
- Diego (6/5): -
- Margaret (10/5): - The location is convenient to restaurants and the downtown district.
- Sorcha (10/5): -
- Finja (9/5): -
- George (7/5): Comfortable rooms in a great location to walk around Revy. - Perfectly good hotel in a great location in central Revy. Comfortable and clean, with decent parking. Nicely renovated bathrooms with large showers are great. An okay breakfast is included. What everyone knows about the Grizz. The floors are laminate and rooms on the first floor can be really noisy if you have people above you coming in late at night.
- MrToddR (8/5): Updated comfy rooms in an upgrading property, just steps from all you need - Amazingly clean room with comfy beds and sheets. Room was recently updated and the bathroom is very nice with dual shower heads and medium water pressure. Very friendly staff. The updated yet rustic feel of the motel was unique. The price was good for us at under $140/night all in. LOVED the convenient downtown location that allowed us to easily walk to restaurants and cafes. And the mountain view from the parking lot was pretty nice! All the pillows are the same with no alternatives available… too big and firm for me. The room windows also need updating and had condensation most of the time. Don’t be fooled by the parking lot (needs some TLC) and the entrance/lobby (very dated, with a strange Asian influence) because the updated rooms are very nice! No elevator a bit of a challenge. We didn’t try the very basic “cold” breakfast… though I guess toast could be NOT cold? Parts of the property are waiting for upgrades… it appears the adjacent restaurant has been taken over and they’re still trying to figure out how to integrate everything. All things will likely get better as the renovations continue, but the rates will probably also go up… sigh.
- Clifford (8/5): The room is good for a night or two, and the location is great. Decent value for your $ in Revelstoke. - The location is great. Right downtown yet the street is not noisy during the night so no problem having a good sleep. The bed, a king, was very comfortable. The included breakfast is minimal. Basic very sugary cereals, whole or whole wheat bread for toasting, and hard boiled eggs. There was also juice or coffee. The updated bathroom was very nice but had next to no space to put out your toiletry articles. Other than the bed the room had only two straight back chairs, which were not very comfortable.
- Olaf (7/5): - Lage war okay Frühstück sehr spartanisch, Zimmer nicht richtig gereinigt. Hotel was in die Jahre gekommen ist.
- Garth (7/5): - Good value for money. Clean. Central location
- Dimmitty (8/5): -
- Jodi (9/5): - It was spotless
- Lisa (9/5): Comfortable, clean and convenient hotel in the heart of Revy - The king bed and pillows were very comfortable, the bathroom was modern and clean, and the location in downtown Revelstoke was convenient. The breakfast was very basic and could have a few more options. We also heard some mechanical noises outside the window, possibly water dripping, which was a bit noisy at night. Unfortunately there were also children running in the hallway at 2 am, which was disruptive, but that's just luck of the draw.
- robin (9/5): -
- Allison (10/5): We were delayed by a day because of a snowstorm and the staff were very accomodating. - Breakfast was good. Location of the hotel was excellent for walking around, shopping, restaurants, convenience stores, tourist information. Good vibe in the place and friendly, helpful staff. Nothing. All good.
- Sam (8/5): - Great location downtown. Very clean rooms with updated bathrooms. Good value for a couple nights. It didn’t seem like there was individual room hvac controls.
- Jack (8/5): -
- James (7/5): -
- Rachel (8/5): - Excellent location in town. Good size room. Exceptionally good bed!! Helpful and allowed us to work remotely from their staff room / skit storage area which was so helpful for us. Ample parking. We will stay again. Breakfast is not for us.
- JessW31 (9/5): -
- Stuart (10/5): Would stay again - Staff super friendly Clean, tidy good facilities
- Alexandra (2/5): : - Nice staff Mold
- Saana (5/5): Good for the location not for service. - The location is very good. We got locked out of the property as we had an early morning flight form Vancouver, I do understand that they have mentioned that the o my way to get it in via the key for a certain time but this was a pure emergency, the door locked behind us and my bag was left inside, there was no way to contact anyone in the hotel, what if it was a medical emergency? They should have some way to connect in such cases we were standing in the freezing cold for 1 hour at 4 am in the morning.
- Lambert (8/5): -
- Lauren (9/5): -
- John (8/5): Nice, clean, comfy hotel in Revelstoke - It was convenient for us and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is adequate, but one day we were there it was all put away before closing time. We felt rushed.
- Richard (10/5): -
- Stuart McAdam (9/5): -
- Daniel f (9/5): - Bed was comfortable, the staff are very pleasant, breakfast was simple, but perfect for a quit bite before hitting the road again.
- Patrik (6/5): -
- phoebe (6/5): -
- Robyn (9/5): -
- Steven (8/5): Great location and price, just go somewhere else for breakfast - Great location in town, very clean and today rooms Breakfast is boring… coffee was terrible
- Anthony (8/5): Very basic amenities. Could put more effort in with the breakfast. Bed and pillows were exceptional - Could do better with the breakfast options. Location is ideal for getting around town and the mountain resort.
- BELEN (7/5): solo para estar de paso - el personal, muy agradables y muy profesionales en su trabajo. la decoración del hotel y el desayuno muy pobre: sin selección de pan, sin frutas, sin yogur... muy, muy limitado
- Rita (6/5): - Bed was comfy Too many bugs… lots of ants, silverfish and a hard shelled large one.
- Rama (6/5): - The location The continental breakfast was a joke
- Abdul Muntakim (8/5): -
- Thomas (10/5): - Great value for the money, free simple breakfast, walking distance to all and on the shuttle up to the mtn which is free
- Luke (8/5): I’d definitely stay here again. - Great location pretty much right in the centre close to everything. Clean and comfortable rooms and the breakfast was nice (could use more options though). The property was great but the walls are thin we awoke both nights we were there multiple times to people upstairs horizontally dancing by the sounds of it.
- Paul (8/5): -
- Kelly (9/5): Great spot in town less than ten minutes from the slopes - Excellent location!
- Frederik Tind (10/5): -
- karp (8/5): -
- VStackhouse (2/5): Would not recommend - The location was good Rooms outdated, not clean, mold in bathtub, staff were just OK. The entire property looked dirty .
We would not stay again.
- Jigga88 (7/5): - The shower Noise,
- Andrew (9/5): Fun - Not that good Every thing else
- Robert (8/5): - Reasonably priced for the area. Clean, large rooms with updated bathrooms.

- Cheyne (10/5): The Grizzly was a perfectly suited to our needs and met our expectations, but the price was right. I - The Grizzly was a perfectly suited to our needs and met our expectations, but the price was right. I’d stay there again for sure. The breakfast was underwhelming.
