• Mandeep (9/5): Exceeded my expectations of a Revelstoke Hotel. - Location was easy to get to, right off the highway. Great breakfast. Comfortable beds. The hotel, room and amenities exceeded my expectations for a Revelstoke hotel. Front desk staff, housekeeping staff were all very nice, helpful and friendly. I would definitely use this hotel again if I pass through the area for one night but not for our ski trip as a family of 4, we need more space. Room was a little tight for a two queen bedroom with 4 people staying in the room for long term stay. They had a bar area in the room off the lobby, but seemed like they hadn't operated it in a long time. Washroom was outdated. Room was not deeply cleaned in between guests. Some Breakfast room attendants were not very hospitable and or stayed in the back room instead of attending outside.

• TravelerGuy802 (10/5): Great stay - Great spot! The room was quiet. For a free breakfast, the options taste really good. Most hotels microwave their "hot" entree options, but this hotel is actually cooking things like eggs on-site, and you can taste the difference. Beautiful hot tub area with mountain views. Shuttle bus to Revelstoke ski area stops directly in front of the hotel, and the hotel provides free shuttle vouchers at front desk. We took the shuttle bus from Kelowna airport so we did not need a car rental for our ski vacation. Free shuttle bus to take you 1 KM into the downtown area for great food starting at 5:45 PM.

It's not the first time I have smelled a pet smell in a room that I've been staying in. In my opinion this hotel needs to have a pet designated floor and not let the pets spill over to other floors they definitely need to keep some rooms that are always pet free. I also asked for a quiet room and I was put on the side away from the hot tub which was good but then they put me right beside a stairwell so we could hear people coming up and down the stairwell and in and out of the stairwell door. Also I think the hotel has raised its price to too high.

• Brian (8/5): It was a way stop on a fairly regular trip from home to the Coast. - Breakfast was good. Plenty of choices. Plenty of food. Room was chilly. Eggs a bit overcooked for my taste. Perfectly edible.

The room was too cold when we arrived, we turned off the AC immediately. Also the breakfast area is very cold from the AC.

Floors were mad dirty before we even got in the room ourselves, we used a cloth to wipe some of it but it was gross. The Heat Pump unit also wasn't intuitive. Didn't seem to kick in when it should've but did when it didn't need too. Location is okay but the surrounding grounds are gross, trash on the sidewalk, pet feces all over the place.

• LightandLove1968 (4/5): Front desk needs improvement - Room clean, spacious. Prefer a coffee maker rather than a nespresso. Difficulty interacting with some front desk, housekeeping and kitchen staff due to language barrier. Both mornings not enough food for everyone. Trouble getting an extra blanket to the room again I believe due to language barrier. Upon my daughter’s checkin her card would not work therefore I used mine for pre-authorization. Upon checkout my daughter got charged twice (apparently she got charged for someone else’s room as well as hers). Upon receiving my credit card statement (3 weeks after stay), I noticed I got charged for two rooms when I only had one room. I called the hotel, was told I needed to be put on hold for 5-10 minutes as he was checking people in so I said I would call back. Called back 15 minutes later and could not get through. I tried calling for the next hour with no-one answering. Called reservations; first call I got hung up on. Second call I got told to dispute the charge with the credit card. Emailed the front desk and manager. Manager called me the next day and over the next few days the issues (both my daughter’s and mine) were finally resolved.

• Paula (10/5): - Loved the breakfast. Fried eggs and not scrambled. Also, loved the shuttle bus to take you downtown and pick ya back up free of charge. Oh and cant forget the liquor store that is attached. Rooms clean and staff super friendly. Wish I had more time to stay to enjoy the outdoor pool and hot tub overlooking the mountains.

• Karen Jack (6/5): - The hotel itself is nice. Our room wasn’t. The air conditioner was very loud, it woke us up a number of times. The shower was a wheelchair accessible shower. The shower floor sloped down to the bathroom floor, understandably, but nothing to stop water all over the bathroom floor causing a real fall hazard, so we chose not to shower. The breakfast was great & nice atmosphere. The Expedia price of $225 turned into $264. Based on our room, it was way too much. The value wasn’t there. Oh, & right outside our window was the mechanical stuff on the roof. Glad it was just an overnight stop. Sorry, 1 1/2 thumbs down!

Breakfast was ok but quality not so good and disorganized. Staff seem unfriendly and unmotivated. Large hot tub was entirely drained. Sorry buts it’s the last time we stay here as there are plenty of options in Revelstoke.

Staff is outstanding , cleanliness top notch, and breakfast has actual REAL eggs. Coffee in the room was best yet. Quiet comfortable stay. Thank you!

• crango1812 (10/5): Nicest hotel on extended trip - On a recent 4 week trip, we stayed in 19 hotels. Most were the highest rated on TripAdvisor in that location, so some pretty nice places. All-in-all, this was one of the very nicest of the trip. Large, clean, well furnished rooms. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast in a comfortable, pretty dining room.
