- Marius (9/5): Quirky memorable location - Let's get it out the way first : if you want confort above everything, maybe look elsewhere. Now, if you want a memorable quirky location, the windmill can deliver while still offering decent comfort and very good cleanliness. The location is overlooking the Sifnos coast with Antiparos island visible on the horizon. Wind (30-50 km/h) is pretty much constant, hitting one immediately after leaving the cover of the windmill terrace. A car or strong personal locomotor capabilities are recommended in order to fully enjoy the location. Long showers not possible unless one likes them cold (there is a boiler which could barely supply a shower for one before needing time to heat another water charge - not a big problem for us but good to know). Toilet functional and clean, clean and good quality bed sheets and pillows (daily cleaning for all property). Fridge working, a/c working, internet Wi-Fi working. Grocery shopping 1 km away. Bus stop and other shops 1 km away. All other amenities listed are there.

Les plaques de cuisson ne sont pas pratiquent pour cuisiner, temps de chauffe très long. Pas de fenêtre dans une des chambres. Manque ombriére pour profiter pleinement de la terrasse. Le site dispose de plusieurs logements, studio, appartement et moulin. Les photos étant mélangé, il est difficile de savoir quelle photo correspond à quel logement.

- DROSOULA (9/5): Χρειάζεται βελτίωση - Η θέα ήταν υπέροχη με την θάλασσα να απλωνεται μπροστά μας, η κυρία που καθάριζε ήταν πολύ εξυπηρετική Υπήρχαν κάποια πρακτικά ζητήματα που επηρέασαν την άνεσή μου. Το δωμάτιο είχε αρκετά μυρμήγκια, κάτι που δείχνει ότι χρειάζεται καλύτερη φροντίδα στην καθαριότητα και συντήρηση. Επίσης, το φίλτρο του air condition ήταν εμφανώς βρώμικο, γεγονός που επηρεάζει τόσο την υγιεινή όσο και την αποτελεσματικότητα της συσκευής. Όσο για τηνTV, ήταν 22 inch πολύ μικρή για την απόσταση με το κρεβάτι και το σήμα ήταν ασθενές έως και καθόλου Ένα ακόμα σοβαρό ζήτημα ήταν η είσοδος και έξοδος από το πάρκινγκ. Η είσοδος βρίσκεται πάνω σε στροφή και είναι αρκετά επικίνδυνη, ειδικά χωρίς καθρέπτη για να ελέγχει κανείς την κίνηση. Η ανάβαση επίσης απαιτεί προσοχή. Γενικά, με λίγη περισσότερη φροντίδα και κάποιες απαραίτητες βελτιώσεις, η διαμονή θα μπορούσε να είναι πολύ πιο ευχάριστη και ασφαλής.

I annoncen står der at det ene værelse har 2 enkeltsenge men det er en dobbeltseng. Da vi var tre kusiner havde det været rart med 3 senge.... De to fransk damer der flyttede ind i lejligheden under møllen som nægtede os adgang til vores hus?!!!

- Johanne (9/5): Nous retournerons à Sifnos. - L'emplacement est fabuleux. La vue à couper le souffle depuis notre grande terrasse équipée d'une grande table. L'originalité des lieux puisqu'il s'agit d'un moulin. La vue sur le Castro est exceptionnelle et nous étions au croisement de plusieurs sentiers de randonnée. Le ménage est fait à tous les jours par une personne sur place, très efficace et discrète. Bons matelas. La propriétaire est facile à joindre et très sympathique. On est en pleine campagne avec la mer à nos pieds. Le petit village d'Artémonias est merveilleux et la boulangerie exceptionnelle. L'humidité du moulin, ce qui n'est pas le cas dans les autres logements. Le moulin est censé accueillir 4 personnes, mais il est préférable d'y séjourner à 2 (chacun son lit, sa chambre) ou en jeune coupe avec famille car le lit de l'étage supérieur n'a pas une forme qui permet à deux adultes d'y dormir confortablement. Pour s'y rendre, ne pas se fier à google qui vous envoie plus loin vous engouffrer dans une ruelle d'où vous aurez du mal à sortir. Demandez à la propriétaire de vous indiquer clairement où tourner une fois passé le village d'Artémonias.

- Greek island hopper (8/5): Interesting location and well equipped. - Location for Artemonas and walking superb. Nice outside terrace facing the Windmill so we could sit and enjoy it in full. Good sea views down to Kastro. Quite windy. But that's why there's a Windmill there ! The terrces of the separate studios (2) are sheltered from the prevailing northerly winds.

Definitely one of the best places I have stayed at in Greece so far. The studio is simple but well equipped, there is a rack outside to let clothes dry, a terrace with amazing view on windmill and the sea!! I watched some incredible sunrises from there.

- Carol (9/5): Unique setting, very quiet with fabulous views. - Fabulous location, walking distance to the tiny village of Artemonas, incredible views across the Aegean Sea. Exceptionally clean and decently equipped kitchen area. We found the check in process and directions confusing which meant we were anxious right up to the point of being kindly collected from the bus stop by a very nice young woman and taken to our room! It seemed that more than one person was communicating with us, so we were told different things … I.e. one minute we were all set to get a bus to arrive mid-afternoon, then we had a message telling us to get the 12:00 bus ( which we couldn’t). I’m sure it was all done to be helpful, but it really got confusing and sadly, stressful.

- h3lterskelter (10/5): This is a pearl and its existence should only be shared with friends. - It's secluded yet a short walk into town away (Artemonas) - and another 10min to Apollonia (exit next to Hellenic Post Office). The rooms are being cleaned every day (!). For a small place like this, it is something some Italian hotels should take note from - the effort is mind boggling. Clean sheets each night and a clean room one has the pleasure to return to. I hope to be a guest at this small but fine property at some point in my life again!
