Gabriela (8/5): - A casa é linda! Realmente em estilo colonial. O Hotel é próximo às praias do norte. O quarto estava impecável quando chegamos, com a comodidade de ter cafés disponíveis e chaleira elétrica. Chuveiro também maravilhoso. Ficamos duas noites e nosso quarto não foi limpo nesse período. O que mais me incomodou é que a lixeira do banheiro era muito pequena e como estávamos com nossa filha pequena, logo ficou cheia. Também senti falta de um micro-ondas para aquecer comida.

Aziza (8/5): Great stay!! - After a long day of travel, we arrived around 4pm and were greeted by a very accommodating staff member, which set a positive tone right away. Our room was ready upon arrival, and the moment we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised — the photos online truly didn’t do it justice. It was spacious, clean, and very welcoming. Natasha and Sue were wonderful throughout our stay. We did experience a small hiccup with consistency and cleanliness on a few nights during our 8‑day visit, but I was grateful to meet Arend, the owner, and share my thoughts with him, especially coming from a family background in the hospitality industry. His openness and professionalism were appreciated. The location is excellent for exploring: beautiful beaches, the Hato Caves, a day in the city, and even the Hofi Mango sugar mill are all within easy reach. Dining at the property was also top‑notch. Overall, it was a great stay and a place. The inconsistency in the cleanliness of our room.

The different places/spots around the Landhuis that you could sit and enjoy nature Our aditional bed broke, never got replaced. Stay over got to sleep on the floor with the mattress, 2 nights. I had to place it myself outside the room, to avoid danger with my mum who is 94 yrs.
Eva van de Water (10/5): Great stay - The location is great, it's close to Westpunt, so within 15 minutes driving we were there and that was exactly what we were looking for. Food was great, staff was nice. The bed was comfortable, bathroom ultra clean. I'd stay here again and I'll definitely come back for lunch or dinner!

The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner which is very convenient. The staff members are very friendly. It's a historic plantation house full of nice characters. The view of the Santa Martha Bay from the room and property is amanzing. Dogs barking during the night sometimes.

Denagharan (1/5): Bad, bad experience and decision making a paid reservation to this hotel. - I don't know, I didn't get to stay there as the owner wasn't responsive on the day of my arrival. I waited six hours at the airport and finally had to book another hotel after still no response. The place was too far and remote for me to go to without a response from the owner. There wouldn't be transport back to the city if nobody was there and it would be risky for me in that situation.. I didn't like the fact that the owner didn't not clearly mention how to get to the accomodation and also how conviniently was not responsive on the day of my arrival after taking the money, or reachable and no Whatsapp (for a country where every tourism service providers use whatsapp for communication with customers). A police report was attempted due to owner not willing to refund the accomodation, and a direct complaint to Curacao's tourism board i made through email, waiting for a response.
zenna (7/5): Heerlijke verblijf - Het personeel was fantastisch. Mooie locatie. Prachtige tiuin. Mooie view Heerlijke keuken. Geweldige pompoen pannenkoeken. Dicht bij leuke atracties. Mooie kamer. Koelkast en fohn aanwezig. Kamer vloer was beton achtig. Was mijn slippers vergeten. Gaf een koud gevoel. Laken op het bed was heel dun. Maar goed ben op een eieland is te verwachten. Als je gauw koud hebt dan dekentje meenemen. . er waren soort van rechthoekige gaten in de muur die een raam zouden moeten voorstellen. 1 van de ramen zat geen glas in. Er kwam een gekko binnen. Ik ben bang voor diertjes en insecten. Kon ik wel verwachten zitbop een eiland. Ik ben chtistelijk er waren afbeeldingen van boedha in de kamer. Dat vond ik wel ongemakkelijk. Zwembad was koud. Ben er gelijk uit gegaan. Was ook in de avond grweest. Denk dat in de middag het wat aangenamer aanvoelt.

Santaela (7/5): Suíte master não tem privacidade nenhuma, todas as janelas são para áreas de passagem e mesas do restaurante - Localização, cerca de 10min das praias do oeste. Falei para o host que o quarto parecia escuro e no dia seguinte ele colocou lâmpadas mais potentes e isso foi legal da parte dele. Vi reclamações sobre o barulho do vento mas não chega ao ponto de atrapalhar o sono. A cama é boa Teve arrumação do quarto apenas um dia, na suíte master não era possível abrir as janelas pois todas davam de frente para área de passagem de pessoas, impossibilitando ter vista e entrada de luz natural (o banheiro literalmente da de frente para mesas do restaurante), isso tira totalmente a privacidade. Por ser a “suite master” achei que seria a melhor suite do local mas era apenas grande no espaço, a localização da suite na casa é péssima ao ponto de acontecer de eu abrir a porta para sair da suite e ter uma família almoçando bem na frente do meu quarto (eles tiveram que se levantar da mesa para eu conseguir passar). Os funcionários são pouco solícitos, se preocupam só com o restaurante, avisei que precisaria da arrumação do quarto no terceiro dia pois usei as xícaras no café da manhã e no dia seguinte usaria de novo e a resposta com cara fechada foi para eu levar as xícaras que ela lavaria (o mínimo que eu esperava era arrumação do quarto ou que ela fosse até a suíte pegar)…enfim, talvez se fosse outra suíte teria uma experiência um pouco melhor mas na suíte master não vale a pena a estadia

Je kunt er lekker eten van ontbijt tot diner en het personeel inclusief eigenaar zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Onze gezinskamer was top. Alles was top. Alleen is het zwembad kleinschalig maar past bij de locatie dus we vonden dat geen issue

Specialy Natasha. She is very kind, helpful and happy to have around. We like the tranquility and this was our third year staying at this hotel. We are looking to return next year. There was nothing we did not like.

Mooi uitzicht. - Mooie locatie, prettig appartement , basic, maar je hebt alles wat je nodig hebt, ideaal als je meer op jezelf wilt zijn. kamer werd dagelijks schoongemaakt.. Bij het gebruik van de waterkoker sloeg de stop door, werd direct verholpen. Prettig, zorgzaam personeel. Het naastgelegen hotel/restaurant heeft veel sfeer, leuke bibliotheek, prettig terras en binnenkamer. Klein zwembadje waar je even kunt afkoelen. Gladde douchevloer. En de aansteker voor het fornuis werkte niet altijd soepel mee. In de woonkamer is geen eettafel, voor ontbijt of avondeten geen probleem, er staat een tafel buiten en op dat tijdstip is er schaduw. Bij regen of teveel zonneschijn hebben we de buitentafel binnen gezet.

Judy (6/5): - Unique is the location and the estate. But there were some problems. The douche was broken. The light next to the bed was broken and flickering . The fitting was unsafe. The fridge was making nouse and the swimmingpool was not clean. Also the personal brought in their family with children and while we we want to enjoy the beatiful panorama one of thechildren was a long time jumping around our table and in front of us . Nobody was taking attention about that. So for us the price for staying was to high related to this inconvenience. We wrote the owner about this but until now no answer.

Donna (7/5): Good - We had the garden room, located by the pool and breakfast area. Despite this it wasn’t overly noisy. The bed was very comfortable. Depending on who was on duty we received a mixed reception. Our first evening we decided to eat in the restaurant for dinner but the staff made you feel unwelcome and looked miserable. The next morning different staff, different reactions. Food was ok but small portions for the money. 35 minutes drive from main town.

Our bedroom was near a swimming pool and public area so we couldn't open the windows. It seemed like we wouldn't have enough privacy. But we were only one night so we didn't spend time in the hotel. We noticed that behind our bed there were spots without painting.

Ramed (6/5): Nice stay in a beautiful historical "Landhuis", but very dissapointed in the restaurant - Nice stay in a historical bit of the Island very close to nature with a stunning view over the Santa Martha bay. The ladies from the staff were very friendly and helpful, trying their best to provide good service. The restaurant. Dinner service was a disaster, 1 person running the floor, ( she was trying her best and did a decent job given the circumstances) And 1 person in the kitchen that was not a cook. After waiting for about 2 hours for our meals we, along with all other tables waiting, simply gave up and left. There was no cook present and the communication could have been better. Id rather be told "sorry the restaurant is closed" than be disappointed in this manner.

Michael (10/5): Serene stay with stunning sunset views! - Beautiful building in a serene setting! A garden area with plunge pool was a perfect place to cool off in the afternoons. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful at all times. The food and cocktails were phenomenal! Dinner on the front porch as the sun set over the Santa Martha Bay was memorable. During some meals we were the only patrons, so hopefully they keep getting enough people to stop by because it's worth a visit!

It is quiet, has excellent dining facilities and a terrace for al- fresco dining with views of miles and miles of greenery, hills and lake. Maxs76 (8/5): Top location with nice food! - I booked a garden room and I totally liked the location of the room near the pool. The room was practical decorated and it had all of these things to make your stay nicer. The Service was very nice and I had a great dinner. The food was really nice at the hotel. Didn't know that they have a coffee and pastry deal. Nice! Loved the layout and the room. The only thing that was not nice was the smell in the bathroom. It's like when the septic tank was full and the smell keeps creeping up when you flush. The shower water also rose up and took some time to go away.

Sebastian (9/5): Don’t only search for resorts, there are amazing place like this to stay - It is a beautiful hotel/restaurant in a nice natural environment. Amazing beaches near (about 10-15 minutes by car). Delicious food. Nice people working there. Comfortable bedrooms. Totally recommended place to stay, specially if you get by car and can move to places nearby. Some bugs and wild animals around compared to other hotels/places in the island but nothing to worry about.

Jarmila (8/5): Nice and calm area to stay and enjoy the inner lands of Curaçao. - Had dinner at the restaurant the first night. Very nice. Also, very popular. Lots of patrons came to eat at the restaurant all week - breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very trendy spot to enjoy nicely presented dishes. The apartment we rented was very nice and quaint. We enjoyed the privacy and the silence. Wondered why there were earplugs on the night stands when we arrived. Guess it was for the dogs barking and the roosters crowing. We didn't use them. Three issues, however, in the apartment: 1) the remote for the mural A/C was not working, so we had the stream of air pointed directly at us the entire night; 2) the battery of the safe in the closet of the room was not functional, thus no safe; and 3) the propane gas of the stove was either empty or not functional. Either way, we didn't really need to use it. We just wanted to warm something up. No biggy.

If you have a car you’re located very close to all of the best beaches The staff were really inconsistent. Our room was only cleaned and remade once in five days we were there. It was normally hard to get a hold of staff to ask questions. My wife’s nightgown went missing, likely tangled in the laundry, and no one was willing to help us locate it

Ursula (8/5): constant breeze very pleasant. near to Christoffel national park and beaches. very beautiful. - fantastic location on top of hill with continual refreshing breeze. old land-house, atmospheric. great restaurant with amazing views. lovely small swimming pool area. lighting in bedroom was not nice, a few details could be improved, maybe a bit of freshening up (paintwork, furniture was a bit 'tired' looking in places.
J.e.s.s. (9/5): Superb - Amazing place to discover the Westcoast of Curacao. Staff is extremely friendly and will make sure you have a good time. The rooms in the main house are beautifully renovated. The apartment could use some TLC as well. The swimming pool is a bit smaller than expected based on the pictures provided.

Edonne (9/5): Great location and views - If you want to spend some days exploring the west side of the island, then this property is perfectly located to do so. Close to the main sights on the west side, quiet, great view over Santa Martha bay.

Nicolaas (9/5): Superb - We were looking for a couple of days of tranquility and a peaceful getaway and that was exactly what we found at this Boutique Hotel. A great place to stay and explore the Banda Abao side of the island. After having a nice breakfast on the front veranda which has a great view, we explored the beaches and historic sights. Every evening we enjoyed a delicious dinner. We had the Queens room which is very spacious and clean and has a nice view. Everyday we were greated by the very friendly and helpful staff who made our stay unforgetable. We will surely be back.........a warm thank you. There was nothing that we did not like.
