- Julia (8/5): - It was clean and the beds were very comfortable.
- Donald (6/5): - The property was clean. The rooms were attractive but dated. I would stay there again.
- Michelle (8/5): - Great place to sleep! Simple accommodations. Very clean. I recommend Bryce Zion Inn for a no frills, affordable sleep.
- Daniel (10/5): - Overall clean room very spacious just a older town and very little traffic
- Michelle (10/5): - Very clean, simple accommodations. Great place to sleep after a busy day.
- Fritz (10/5): - Good choice for sleep.
- Nicolas (8/5): - Ce motel est très bien si on veut visiter Bryce Canyon ou Zion Canyon. La chambre avec 3 grands lits et 2 salles de bain est spacieuse et bien mieux que sur les photos de présentation.Acc

Older hotel but clean
- Darin (8/5): - Hatch is a very small town on Hwy 89. The Bryce motel is great to stop while passing through. It is a motel so you’re getting just that. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. It’s an older motel but great if you need to get some rest while traveling. There is a bar just down the street and a cafe at 177 Main Street. The food there was good after a long day.
- Patricia (10/5): - Nicely updated motel. Unique check in and nice big ice machine.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We have used Bryce Zion Inn three years in a row for our 4th of July getaway.
Rooms are big and spacious most importantly very clean. We're definitely coming back next year.
- Ted (6/5): - This is the only hotel in this one-horse town. We got there at 8:30p and found the only dining was a saloon that our kids could not enter.
The hotel needs a lot of maintenance. Find another town if you can.
- Amanda (10/5): - It was close to our reunion site, the room had plenty of space and a large bathroom, the beds were comfortable. The room was decently cleaned. The AC is a window unit and it worked well to cool the room in the night it was needed.
- Laurent (10/5): - Staff was very kind and professionnal.
Rooms are large and confortable. The location is just perfect when you get out from Zion and move on to Bryce.
However, Hatch offers a quite low number of services (hopefully the Hatch Station is there)
- Zachary (10/5): Comfortable and convenient - Wonderful locally owned motel, conveniently located between Zion and Bryce Canyon. No complaints. Bed was comfortable, and the price for the room was WAY cheaper than the name brand hotels nearby.
- Clark (10/5): - Great stop between Zion and Bryce.
- Brittany (10/5): - Check in was a breeze, room was nicely updated, 3 queen beds was great (compared to sleeper couch) and it was clean.
- Geleta (10/5): - Well kept retro property. Large and comfortable rooms. Nice stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Adequate stay. - Room was clean and comfortable, however there was an unusual smell, may have been cleaning products. If you have sensitivity to smells it may disturb you.
- Rufina (8/5): - Confortable place to stay in
- Carol (10/5): - What a gem! Super convenient. Restaurant nearby. Very spacious room and parking right outside our door. Raquel was very responsive when we needed help with our TV. There is a sink in the bathroom, and another vanity and sink in the bedroom area. A bedside table on both sides of the bed. Simple pleasures!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - the room was great, clean and cozy. No one in the office in the morning for checking out.
- Patrick (6/5): - It's a good place as a step between Zion and Bryce
- Cindy (8/5): - Close to Bryce Canyon!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Older motel, lots of area in the room to move around.
- Christie (10/5): Clean neat and spacious (not foofoo) - Clean and simple room. NOT fancy but somehow you can tell that the proprietors actually care about the property. Rooms clean and neat and spacious. Not luxurious but perfect for our stay. 👍
- kevin (8/5): - No interaction with the property management, I had to get my own LP tank that they provided but the place was nice and clean.
- Karen (10/5): - Very clean. Large room. Very nice woman that checked us in. Just a half hour from Bryce Canyon.
- Stephen (10/5): - After Zion National Park, it was great to relax in a nice clean room within walking distance to restaurants.
- ANN (10/5): - Great location for hiking Bryce. Great price!!
- James (8/5): - Economical room with comfortable beds
- Verified traveler (8/5): Quaint, ideal location - located between our travel destinations, Hatch UT is a quaint town split by the highway. the hotel is ideal for those wanting basic lodging, with plenty of room, quiet surroundings except for the occasional semi, very comfortable beds, plenty of towels. I loved the welcome letter and the details they provided in advance of our stay!
- anna (10/5): Clean, Cool, Comfortable, Affordable and Quiet - Nice no frills hotel. The room was spacious and the ceiling fan was a nice touch. We will definitely be returning.
- Sergio (10/5): - Super cozy
- Jennifer (8/5): - Vintage. Not charming, but very convenient and functional.
- David (10/5): - Completely charming - the intangible quality that gets it to 5 stars for us! Loved the retro feel which was not manufactured in the least - more like...preserved? We took a cross-country road trip in 1994 as broke newlyweds, and this is exactly the type of motel that would have been a diamond in the rough on our budget back then - clean, spacious room, full of character and a working ice machine. Don't expect fancy, but the Bryce Zion Inn is a very cool, old-school motel, which we'll take over fancy any day.
- Katherine (10/5): - Friendly little place
- Tammy (8/5): - Clean, cute hotel, dated but no issues.
- Kerry (4/5): - The best aspects were it was 15 miles or so to Bryce Canyon and more affordable than the options at the park entrance. The bathroom was clean and the walls looked freshly painted. The mirror was weirdly hung at a high height.
The downsides were that the single queen bed unit was furnished with what looked like thrift store furniture. There was a chunk missing from the desk. The room needed a major rehab-new carpeting, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and a clean out of the a/c vents-full of dust. The room smelled off. The asphalt in front of the rooms was broken up into gravel. All in all, a motel that has seen better days. It could be decent again if some TLC was put into this property.
- Amy (8/5): - Older motel with some modern upgrades. Cleanliness. Quiet. Close to both Bryce & Zion.
- Brennan (10/5): - Facilities/room are a bit dated but room was clean and adequate. Great location for Bryce Canyon National Park.
- Hilda (10/5): - Close to Bryze and not bad for the price.Stayed for 2 nights.
- Sophie (8/5): - .
- Alan (4/5): - It was a 60s era motel. I will not be back.
- Ruth (10/5): - They were super nice people and the rooms were great, very roomy!
- Michelle (10/5): - Would like to see a few more options for dining but Inn is in a small town which is why we picked it.
- James (10/5): - Vintage but very clean and comfortable.
- Dustin (10/5): This is a great place to stay between Zion + Bryce - This is a truly great hotel. We stayed here after spending the day at Zion and it was a fantastic starting point for our trip to Bryce Canyon the next day. The location is excellent, the room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the parking and property was spacious, and the staff were incredibly accommodating.
This is clearly an independently owned location and that is one of the reasons I stayed - supporting small businesses is important to me. We stayed at many hotels during our road trip and this was one of my favorites.
We stayed in the family room - which was a lot of fun for my kids and my nieces (and made it their favorite place where we stayed even over the much more expensive condo in Moab). The room has two bathrooms, plenty of beds, and enough table/cabinet space to accommodate most anything you might need.
- Lisa (10/5): Pleasantly surprised! - We decided to stop here for the night rather than drive the 4 hours back to our hotel in las vegas after we had been at Bryce Canyon all day. After being nickel and dimed to death in Vegas, it was super refreshing to get a place for the night for $66 after tax!! Its a cute little family motel, we reserved online and once there were checked in after only about 2 min. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and extremely CLEAN!! So nice to drive right up to the door, too! It was like going back in time decor wise, but we had a fridge, microwave, and coffee pot , (none of which were in my room at MGM Grand without charges), TV, window air conditioner ( worked great). It was perfect for what we needed, plus the lady that checked us in was very nice and friendly;)
- Kevin B (8/5): - A good option for this town. The inn was decent, a few minor items needed more cleaning. No issues.
Very few good options in town.
- Shanon (10/5): - Check in/out we’re super fast. Room was spacious, clean, and exactly as described.
- Danniel (10/5): Best bang for your buck!! - This was a great peaceful spot to stay. Great views, very quiet and comfortable. The family that owns it is nice. Its a VERY small town, so everything is within walking distance. All the basic necessities are here. And its not too far from zion national park and bryce canyon. We loved it so much we decided to stay a second night.
- Valerie (8/5): - Great value for a roadside motel. Clean and quiet, big rooms, easy check in.
- Sandeep (10/5): - Nice location
- Ashley (8/5): - This hotel served its purpose for a quiet stay outside of Bryce Canyon Park. The shower head was amazing, the heater in the room was perfect as it was a chilly June night. Staff was friendly and room was clean.
- Jodi (10/5): - Older place but very clean. Service at front desk was great. Was able to get a good nights sleep. It was quiet.
- Jeff (8/5): - The toom smelled very musty.
Large room, comfortable beds, quiet area
- Kevin (8/5): - Needs an update 49 year old decor
- Jerry (4/5): - Coffee maker and hair dryer did not work, stains on floor and on one of the beds. The bed we did use was surprisingly comfortable, bathroom was clean and neat.
- Phil (8/5): - Clean, comfortable worth the price.
- Michael (8/5): - large rooms, minimal bedding, heating hard to adjust, unable to use television for anything except Dish Network
- Elisa (10/5): Old but great - The place is a bit dated, but it was an excellent place to stay. Very clean, large rooms with comfortable beds. Staff was great. Safe area. Nice stay.
- Robert (10/5): - Comfortable bed, hot shower and large room. Close to the Canyon. Steakhouse across the street. Great price
- Mario (10/5): - Nice area and clean big rooms.
- Diane (6/5): - X
- David (8/5): - Very nice room. Convenient location.
- Qingqiu (10/5): - It is very close to Bryce NP, and not not far away from Zion NP. Quiet, safe, clean and affordable.
- Michelle (10/5): Perfect place for us. - Fabulous family run hotel. It was perfect for our family of five. Room was very clean and had a fresh coat of paint. Full size refrigerator, 3 queen beds, pull out bed. All the beds were comfortable. Two bathrooms. This two night stay for us was part of a larger trip across country, this was one of the best values we had. We really enjoyed our stay. It was about 30 minutes to Bryce Canyon.
- CLAIRE (10/5): - It was clean , comfortable an convenient. I won’t definitely stay again.
- Christina (10/5): - Very Clean and Spcious. We had the 3 queen beds and it was perfect for our family.
- Aju (8/5): - We stayed at Bryce Zion inn on our way to Bryce Canyon national park.Stay was comfortable, the staff were friendly and rooms were clean. The inn look like pretty old but the rooms were big and spacious.
- Mike (6/5): - If you have a large group this may be your best bet sleeps eight full size fridge two bathrooms.
- Hendrik (8/5): - This is a functional but dated motel. It was an affordable option reasonably close to Bryce Canyon. A pool would have been nice given the limited entertainment options in town.
- Kim (6/5): - Like have separated bed for group. Need new towel and bed linen, it’s yellow and looks dirty.
- Wei (6/5): - clean,quiet
- Maude (4/5): Don’t go there! - Very desapointing! Old pictures! We had power shortage all the time when using the heater! Reception told us that we cannot use any other appliance while heating the room! We knew it was a basic unit but this is worse. Yes there is a bbq but forget it!
- edith (8/5): - spacious room
- James Richard (4/5): - Very rough outside but okay inside room.
- Karen (6/5): Dated but good price. - Definitely an older throwback motel. Room was large, no real amenities, dated. But the price was goid and the motel is halfway between Zion and Bryce
- Monora (2/5): - Worst experience ever. Their teenage son checked us in and did not mention their service dog policy, which I forgot to ask about since there were other other dogs on the property. They threatened us, kicked us out the second night, charged us for the second night and charge a cleaning fee.
- Abby (4/5): - I was avoiding making this review because I don’t like to give bad reviews to small businesses. I have bed bug bites on my body. I know because I’ve been exposed to them years ago and I’m allergic. I examined the bed, but didn’t see the signs. It’s possible they know and they’re hiding the signs. Just be on alert.
- Gary (10/5): Don’t overlook - Staying at hotels from Ma to Utah and I was very impressed with your hotel. Reasonable price and was the cleanest and well equipped out of all.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very spacious, clean, and accommodating.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good for site seeing - Easy check in. Older room, but clean and nice for a larger family. We were out site seeing and only spent time sleeping at the room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The rooms were clean and quiet, although stepping into the shower, my feet got dirty walking on the carpet. The beds were well-covered, if not the most comfortable I've ever had. It's a beautiful location, and met our needs. We won't be rushing back, but will keep it open as an option in the future.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice property in a small town. Room is fairly large. Beds were comfortable. Had a fridge and A/C. Rooms were clean and cleaned daily. Would stay again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We had a very comfortable stay at the Bryce Zion Inn. Very clean and had what we needed for our 1 night stay.
- Alexandra (10/5): Great place - Very comfy and clean rooms, nice design, friendly owners.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Rough time here... burned spot on tv, bathroom light burned out, wifi would not connect and the office was closed both mornings to let them know. Overall property was lacking updates. They did give me a phone number for peoblems but I didnt bother them.. my bad.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Pleased to be able to check-in before 3pm on our way to Bryce Canyon National Park and assigned to one of the biggest rooms on site with a wall separating two queen sized beds with another queen sized bed. Having two bathrooms for four adults was helpful. Parking is right in front.
- Brittany (8/5): Old but would stay there again - This was a great place for our family of six. We were able to get a large room with three beds and a sofa bed. Lots of space!
It’s very outdated, but in a small town like Hatch, there’s not much to choose from. The room had a bit of an old smell, and the bathroom smelled like a septic tank, but it worked for what we needed. We would stay here again if we are ever traveling through the area.
- April (10/5): Great choice for Bryce and Zion - This place was great. Big room, very clean. Family owned and very friendly and helpful staff. Great price as well. We loved this place!
- Colin (10/5): - Excellent location to visit all three parks. Clean and spacious. Perfect for our trip.
- Miranda (10/5): Great find!!@ - Highly recommend this place! Very friendly staff. Big rooms make traveling with a little one a joy.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A great Inn to stay at after a long day at Zion national Park. It's about a 50 minute drive and has some great coffee places around (definitely visit Sevier Coffee - great people and great coffee). You could also relax outside your room as there are chairs and table, or do some circular jogs. Did I forget to mention the price is also great?
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely and affordable motel in beautiful tiny town right between zion and bryce. Highly recommend
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Outside a little antiquated but room was large, clean, and had everything needed for a nice stay. Would stay there again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The property is an older style motel. The room was clean and was a great value for the price. There are no apparent on site activities as in a pool or meeting place but it is adequate for an overnight or short-term stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friendly family owned business. Inn quality. The family room with 3 queen beds and a sleeper suited our family perfectly.
35 min drive to Bryce Canyon.
