We felt safe and secure behind locked gates and a security door between the car park and our room. The room needed a comfortable chair or couch to chill out in.

Noticed later when checking my account, went and complained was told it was reimbursed but didn't show on my account, left early next day. Rang was told take 3 to 5 business days to clear.!!

The smokers in the courtyard were awful - it really dectracted from staying at the hotel. Need windows that open as AC can be too cold

I had a spotlessly clean air conditioned double room with ensuite and kitchenette all to myself. I paid extra for late check out as I was waiting for an evening bus. The facilities were clean even though I didn't use the pool. It was too hot! My late arrival was also facilitated, it all went smoothly. Nothing

Parking fermé par une solide barrière, et la zone des chambres est encore entourée d'un grillage métallique avec une porte fermée à clé. De l'autre côté de la rue il y a un supermarché Kununurra. Malheureusement c'est une ville étape un peu incontournable dans cette région

• Rob (7/5): Basic but good - First published on TripAdvisor: The staff were very friendly and all too willing to help. First and only big pain, as there are no pickups from the airport after 6pm, the motel recommended Quick Collect service. They also advised us to book early, which we did. We got out of the little airport to find that the only car was already full of other passengers, so much for booking early. So we had to wait for the car to come back. When he did, it was a young man who let us know that his greatest aim was to leave Kunanurra as soon as possible. We said about the booking, and his response was welcome to Kunanurra. It was a 5 minute drive to our hotel, price? $40.00. Just highway robbery, no meter, no quote, just $40. My advice, use anybody else (there is a Kunanurra Taxi service, we found out later. The motel were just as surprised as we were. Otherwise, the rooms were basic but adequate, there were no places to hang clothes so the clothes tended to be spread around the room. Shower was hot with a good flow of water. There is a good sized pool and a large communal kitchen. The motel is in the middle of town with good access to all shops and amenities. The manager did drive us back to the airport at no charge and was really lovely. Quick Collect service

• Pamela (8/5): Very conveniently centrally located accommodation at a reasonable price. - I chose it as I was travelling alone and I wanted to be centrally located near a supermarket, without being too expensive. I liked the pool and the courtyard, and the convenience of the laundry and well equipped kitchen. I really appreciated having the security gates. I didn't like having to fiddle with a lock on the driveway gate at 5am to wait for a tour pickup. A normal lock would be much better. My room did not have a rail to hang the teatowel on.

The garden atmosphere from the rooms was great. We didnt use pool area as was cold so can't comment on that. Didn't like the fact that reception was closed a lot when needed them regarding luggage storage.....have to ring a mobile beforehand...

Complimentary pick-up and drop-off from airport was also provided. Coles supermarket across road from hotel and there were a number of eating options within easy walking distance. • Mark (4/5): - It is a bit hard to rate this fairly, as on our final night there was a loud argument in a neighbouring room that distrupted our sleep and made us feel slightly unsafe. The airconditioner in our room also stopped working on our final night, and there were ants in our kettle. Otherwise I was impressed with the laundry and kitchen facilities and the room was relatively clean and had good amenities. Also worth noting that the secure car park is on a first in, best dressed basis, and you are not always guaranteed a park.

Very musty smelling. Smell coming from aircon or drain in bathroom (?) Little bugs (baby coackroachs?) were coming up through drains when went to loo in middle of night. Has windows but did could not leave open long as one side screens were torn and other side directly onto main entrance so light into room and no privacy (also no security). Was a later arrival and early start so did not spend much time in room apart from to shower/sleep. Would rec try to book one of refurbished rooms as these looked a better. Would not stay again in room 33.

Extremely obliging and he had his own innerspring mattress, treats and he was able to come into the courtyard with us. All staff were lovely and it was the best position for us in town.

Definitely worth while after a long day on the road. Kitchenette in the room could use a little upgrade but had the basics to make coffee in the morning.

From outside it looks simple/basic …. then once inside the courtyard gardens are lovely & cooling, theres a really nice pool, and big well-equipped communal kitchen. The staff were great & all-up it was a fabulous stay - many thanks 👍
