Guest Reviews
- Betty (6/5): - The room was a little humid.
- Shari (8/5): A comfortable place to stay in Winfield, Kansas - The things I liked best about this Quality Inn were the following: Shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower; lotion dispenser in the bathroom; A good hair dryer in the bathroom; the usual amenities of TV, frig, microwave, coffee/tea maker; comfy bed.
What I wish were better: kind of coffee with the coffee maker and no coffee kept available in the dining are. Also I wish bottled water would be available in the coke machine.
Overall, I would stay there again.
- Sheila (10/5): - Great staff. Clean rooms.
- Lisa (10/5): - Staff was plesent and room was nice and clean and quiet. Bed and pillows were comfy! I will be staying there again
- Ken (10/5): Great view of the golf course. - They had a machine for round the clock coffee but it tasted strange. The room coffee was much better. Great breakfast, friendly staff, and well maintained. Have stayed here multiple times and always enjoyed it.
- Stephanie (10/5): - I had dogs with me and they made sure I was on the first floor and next to an outside door. Will use them again
- Greg (10/5): - Right next to good Mexican Restaurant, easy access to anything in Winfield
- Richard (8/5): - Property was clean and staff was friendly.
- Richard (4/5): - .
- Erika (8/5): - Very clean. Just what I needed.
- Lisa (6/5): - Staff was very friendly and helpful and did his best to appease us. We were just suprised to have all pet friendly rooms. Because of this, doors were scratched and the room had a smell … and the double beds were too small to sleep confortably in
- Deidre (10/5): - It didn't have that musty hotel smell! It appeared well maintained. Staff was really nice!
- Kenneth (10/5): - Excellent stay.
- Elden (6/5): - Motel itself was clean and room was nice and comfortable. Night clerk that checked me in was great. Had reservations for 2 nights for a softball tournament for my daughter. Tournament got rained out and canceled first thing on Saturday morning so tried to get refund for the 2nd nights room as wasn't needing the room for the 2nd night now. They WOULD NOT cancel and refund my money for the 2nd night. Even got ahold of Expedia to see if they could get the cancelation and refund and the motel still wouldn't do it. Stayed here one other time back in Nov of 2024 and liked the place so thats why I stayed again. But this will be the last time if I'm ever back in the Winfield area again. Its not like it was 10 or 11 in the morning when I asked about canceling the room. It was right at 9am in the morning. So if anyone has more than 1 nights reservations and if something comes up to where you don't need the extra nights, you will be stuck with them even if its something thats beyond your control.
- Steve (10/5): - I was working I n yown on a project and uour hotel met all my needs
- Roxanne (10/5): - Staff was great. They were polite and personable. Breakfast was good. This was a good deal. Low price, close to town and the college, free breakfast. All around win. Literally the only improvement suggestion was it looked like my bathroom floor needed to be mopped I. Some corners but that was minor. Beds were comfy and I will be back.
- Steven (8/5): Good place - Nice place to stay. Breakfast was ok, not a lot but good.
- Loretta (10/5): - Clean, friendly, good breakfast, and service.
- Josh (4/5): - The hotel was in a decent location, but outside of town as well. The hotel was dated significantly. It did not have an elevator at all so you have to carry everything up the stairs. It was a basic roadside style hotel.
- Micky (8/5): No double - It was good they gave us 2 double beds and they were small could of used queens. The rest was all good
- Bryan (8/5): - The staff were helpful and nice
- John (10/5): - The first room we were given had a loud next doors neighbor. Salina graciously and quickly gave us a different room.
- Samantha (10/5): - Easy access, nice staff
- Alysia (2/5): - We asked for a late check out and were told that would be ok. Then we were told at 10:58am morning of, that they had a full house and we needed to leave within 30 minutes, not getting late check out. We still had people sleeping because we didn’t sleep at all because the beds were so tiny and uncomfortable. We showered at night and in the morning, there was 0 hot water. We all took cold showers. I wouldn’t stay here again. Which sucks, it had potential.
- Connie (8/5): - Property was clean and safe. Good parking. Breakfast bar not great but not terrible. Price not too bad. It is on the outskirts of town so not close to anything. Overall I would stay here again
- Brenda (10/5): - Will stay again
- Trudy (8/5): Bathroom needs attention - The room was comfortable, but the bathroom floor needed a good cleaning and the trim around the bathroom needs replacing.
- Sandy (10/5): - I highly recommend this place
- Nicholas (10/5): - Great place for the price. The guy at the front desk was very nice and polite! Hard to find that these days!
- Brandy (10/5): - It was great
- Lemuel (6/5): - They cant help where they are located. But for the area, I had no complaints. NO BED BUGS!
- Amy (10/5): - The room was a great price! It included a sauna in the bathroom, a fairly big mini fridge, a microwave, coffee maker, and has a washer and dryer on the premises that are cheap, Whirlpool brand, and work very well! The room service staff is very efficient and friendly! The food for the complementary breakfast included both healthy and indulgent food.
Highly recommend!
- Grant (10/5): - Use of meeting room
- Carla (8/5): - So
- osha (10/5): - The front dest was very nice and friendly.
- Anthony (10/5): - Clean room
- Sara (10/5): Pleasant, Quiet and Safe - This was our fourth stay and we have been very happy and comfortable each time. It is a simple and pleasant place, the staff is always friendly and helpful, and everything in the room is in good working order. Our room had a mid size refrigerator with a real freezer. The water pressure is amazing. The breakfast has many choices including a pancake machine. There is a small, three sided not-fancy courtyard with a nice large old tree. Soothing after a long day on the road. It doesn't jump out at you, but take a look at the architectural style on the front facade and also the landscaping, lowkey, tasteful, pleasing.
- Sheri (10/5): - I needed to check in early, the hotel had been booked solid the night before but they were so nice to allow me to go ahead & check in 2 hrs early. The rooms are always clean, plenty of comfortable soft pillows, i come to winfield a couple times a year & always stay here. Its honestly (and ive tried all the others) the best hotel in winfield.
- Spencer (10/5): - A
- Brenda (10/5): - The property looks real nice an updated! I would stay again that’s for sure!
- Susan (10/5): - Quality Inn was a great place for us to stay while in Winfield. The guys were playing golf, so the location right by the club house couldn't have been better.
- Michael (10/5): - Enjoyed having a ground level room. Was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Would stay again! :0)
- Philip (8/5): - The staff was very pleasant and efficient.
- Stacy (8/5): - Okay stay. Nothing spectacular. Rooms were comfortable.
- Kelley (8/5): - It was a clean space for a small town; staff were not as friendly or helpful. Checkout time is too early.
- Lorrie (10/5): - Lobby and area to eat breakfast was very clean and modern. Room was updated and clean except the bathroom tiled floor. I think the housekeepers forget to clean the bathroom floor in the corners and behind the toilet. Also, the grout around the bathtub and tile had areas of black mildew. No attention to detail in the bathroom was done.
- Jason (8/5): Quick stay - Short and quick stay for event at college.
Only issue is hot water in shower runs out very fast!
- Karen (10/5): - This is the second time I’ve stayed at this property, and the staff is so kind and helpful. The breakfast is good, and they have coffee and tea selections available all day. The gym allows you to get a decent workout. The beds are really comfortable.
- Bernabe (10/5): - Very nice and clean room, nice and quiet place.
I believe that they should have a few more options for breakfast. Overall I really liked
- Jing (10/5): - Good.
- Alex (10/5): - The hotel is clean and cozy. The staff were friendly. I even extended my stay.
- Cortney (8/5): - Hot water in shower would get cold then when you turn it hotter after a few minutes it would get really hot then cold. Did this for 2 days and at off peak hours also. Other than that it is a nice property and I will stay there again.
- Audrey (4/5): - Rooms are very small
- David (10/5): Nice Homecoming stay at Quality Inn. - I had a nice stay at the Quality Inn. This was for my college Homecoming, so I didn't get to enjoy the hotel's facilities much, being busy with college things. No problems, though, the heating and A/C both worked (yeah, it was that sort of weather). the ice machine worked, the breakfasts worked out well--in one case, I needed something to hold me over for hours, and in another just something to keep me until we were fed at the school function, and their breakfast selection came through in both cases.
- Robin (8/5): - Was clean and accommodating. Continental breakfast was nice. Stayed 6 nights. Will stay again
- Penny (10/5): - It was nice & clean. I was surprised that they have a complimentary breakfast. I reserved a room thru Expedia & had looked at what they offered but this was missing.
- Kenny (10/5): Great Stay - First time in Winfield on business and my stay was great, Staff very friendly and hotel well cared for and clean. I will stay here again
- Gray (10/5): - Very clean- looks like they did several updates recently!
- Donna (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable and the staff were very nice
- Josef (10/5): Nice hotel, great staff - The room was clean and comfortable. It could use some updating. The towels were OK, they could also be updated. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in town. Good deal for the price.
- Charisma (10/5): - Staff were very kind and helpful. Room was really nice and comfortable.
- James (2/5): - Could not Check in. Personal injury be for arriving. Paid full bill of $300 plus. Not even a thank you. You made an easy 300 .
- Randall (4/5): - Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Bathroom needed work in the shower. Sheet rock was flaking off on the ceiling in the shower. Room seemed like it needs a dehumidifier. Room had a musty smell to it.
- Spencer (10/5): - Clealiness
Bed not too good
- Anita (10/5): - It wad vey clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly.
- Julie (4/5): - Great meeting room! The staff was friendly and helpful. The problem was the room. It was moldy smelly and the carpet was damp.
- Ronda (10/5): Great Accommodations - Very clean and comfortable place to stay on our trip!!
- Douglas (10/5): - Clean and nice
- Arlene (10/5): - Great value for a safe, clean & comfortable stay. Great breakfast options & I LOVE that they recycle.
- Debra (8/5): Debra from Texas - Staff very friendly & helpful. Would be nice if check out was at noon instead of 11:00 am. Please consider changing breakfast on the weekend from 7am to 10am instead of 7am to 9am. I enjoyed my stay & will return again.
- Penny (6/5): - This hotel was moderately clean, the staff we saw were uninterested in the guests, but the biggest drawback was there was no elevator. Expecting the guests to drag 50 pound suitcases up the stairs is unacceptable. Put in an elevator!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Bathroom Floor - The bathroom floor and grout lines needed a deep cleaning. Didnt go barefoot there. Other than that the room felt clean. Hallway ice machine out of order and dryer needed fixing.
- Linda (10/5): - Good breakfast options,
clean facility
- Faith (4/5): Drive and stay somewhere else - As soon as we walked in the room it smelled musty and moldy, the filters for the A/C heat were disgusting covered in dust about an inch thick, that shouldn't be something you have to clean in your room. The floors were filthy I had shoes on the entire time wouldn't even walk around in socks. Spend a little extra and drive a little further staying in Winfield isnt worth it one of the worst places I've ever stayed
- Brooke (2/5): - The staff was terrible, would never go again.
- JOEL (10/5): - Keep up the good work!
- Cynthia (10/5): - Good location
- Barbara (6/5): - Room was clean. Decor was out dated and kind of hodgepodge
- Wade (8/5): Clean, comfortable and nice people. - Stay was fine. Was not able to get regular King room, instead hot handicapped King room. The bath was not as convenient or nice as a regular would have been. Personnel were all very good. Breakfast was only okay - good waffles, but no meaningful protein. Value was good. Overall, would (will) stay there again.
- Roxanna (10/5): Excellent - We were there dropping our grandson off for college. The hotel was clean the beds were comfortable the breakfast was good. The service at the front desk was excellent. Would stay again
- Roberts (8/5): - Good value and convenient to town and the college.
- Anita (10/5): - It was a little out of town so it was very quiet. The staff was great and friendly. They went out of their way to make it easier for my elderly mom.
- Sara (10/5): A nice stay - A very nice older hotel, clean, quiet, friendly staff.
- Kim (10/5): - Friendly staff, clean and well maintained room and very well maintained fitness room.
- Bonnie (10/5): - Everything was great 👍
- Melissa (8/5): - It was nice clean
- Steven (10/5): - Clean comfortable room
- Jonallyn (4/5): - The room was non smoking but smelt horrible of smoke. They had a odor ball thing under the bed but it did not help. The front desk person was not very nice about it. We got our money back. The hotel looks like it is becoming run down. Go across the street to super 8. It is much nicer and the people are friendly.
- Randy (10/5): Moving Trip - We moved our daughter and stayed to make sure she was OK the next day. It was perfect walking distance to a restaurant for dinner.
- Doris (10/5): - Clean place. Safe.
- Cathy (8/5): - Nice staff
- Scotty (2/5): - Literal rotten food left in the room from a previous guest. Was moved to a different room but never received so much as an apology from management.
- Dennis (8/5): - Convenient check-in, clean and quiet room.
- john (10/5): good value - everything good
- Mary (8/5): - Very clean. Friendly, helpful staff. When a problem developed because of a plumbing issue above our bathroom they were quick to act and get us moved. Only disappointed they are not yet able to provide a hot breakfast (go away COVID problems and supply issues!).
- Penny (8/5): - Slept very well, that not always true the first night. Mattress was very good with plenty of pillows! Will keep this one on the “would stay here again” list.
- Mark (6/5): Family Trip - Wonderful staff - always friendly and helpful (most of the time). Facility is starting to really show its age. Eating area was less clean than I would like. I am ready to get back to some real food choices again. Ran out of coffee one morning and I was told to just get decaf instead (that was a crap answer).
- Martin (10/5): - Good
- John (8/5): - It was good
- Glenn (10/5): - Most everything was good but hotel is some what out dated.
