• Verified traveler (2/5): It was terrible! - Very very small room, sink drainage crogged, odors, very stiff stairs to upstair, bathtub drainage malfunctioned, had to put something to drain water otherwise will not drain, not enough electric wall outlets, no refrigerator! I would NOT recommend to anyone! If someone offers me that room with free with rewards of some type, I would still refuse to stay there. NO WAY! My regrets were the most!
• Amber (8/5): Quiet and Clean - The location was excellent. The room is what I would typically expect for he price. The service from the staff was very warm and welcoming. The most important criteria for me is that it is quiet and clean- which it was. Unfortunately the WiFi didn't work and the few channels on the TV were very fuzzy.

However, one downside of the hotel is that the water can get quite small during night time. Recommended if you are after an affordable rate located near the attractions.

• 쑤 (4/5): 위치만 좋습니다 - 위치는 아주 좋고 직원분들도 다들 너무 친절해요. 하지만 침대 시트에 뭘 흘렸는지 자국이 선명하였고 평소엔 호텔방에서 신발 신고 돌아다니기 불편해서 그냥 맨발로 다니는 편인데 여긴 바닥이 지저분하여 계속 신발 신고 생활 했습니다. 수건도 그냥 물로만 빤건지 냄새가.. 이름만 호텔이지 모텔보다도 못한 것 같습니다.

• Teng Jin (8/5): An Almost Fantastic Stay. - I booked this hotel for its location. It's so close to everything shopping and... especially food! The pictures looked good on the booking site, but the rooms were actually very small. Nice that it was clean and had an attached bathroom, and was sufficiently comfortable for us to go back and crash after a long day. However, the water heater wasn't working great and there was a smell that wafted from the drainage. Luckily we got ground floor rooms. The stairs was somewhat steep and narrow. Handles would have been helpful. And, the floor at the reception could have been better maintained. Some floor boards are warped and gaps are apparent. It shouldn't be for a hotel which is about 2 years old. What made this hotel memorable is the great staff! They are very friendly and helpful. The front desk gets 100% - a 5-star rating! And Rai got 101%! A real jewel. Overall, we enjoyed out stay and look forward to returning again, hopefully with the little aberrations corrected.

• Mohd Azlan (8/5): Convenience in a nutshell. - It's more than meets the eye. Looks small from the front/back entrance but it runs pretty long. The location is strategic. From less than a stones throw away from Jonker Street and driving distance to anywhere in Malacca. Walked from there to Mahkota Parade with ease. Clean and cozy place, but the air-conditioning takes a bit to cool the place down. All in all it was a pleasant one night stay.

The king-size bed is good enough for 3 people, best is 3 pillows, hot water flask were provided. The only complain the water heater is not working.

• YOUNG HEE (4/5): 위치는 정말 좋았어요 - 위치는 정말 좋았어요. 근데 지난번 Quayside Hotel도 그렇고 6시 넘어서 체크인을 하면 트윈룸으로 결제를 했어도 트윈룸으로 안주더라구요 ㅡㅡ 이번에도 더블룸으로 주면서 그다음날 스탠다드룸으로 옮기라고 하더라구요.. 그래서 트윈이냐 물어보니깐 더블이라고 하고 ㅡㅡ 어쨌든 결국은 그냥 그 다음날도 디럭스룸이긴 했지만 기분이 좋진 않았어요.. 창문이 없어서 아침인지 밤인지 모르는건 어쩔수가 없었지만 로비 들어가는 순간 곰팡이 냄새는 어쩔수가 없더라구요; 그래도 위치는 정말 좋았어요! 존커 초입구쪽에서 안쪽이라 시끄럽지도 않고 꽤나 위치는 만족, 택시도 빨리 불러주더라구요 하지만 다음번에는 글쎄요

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay at Vinz - We stayed in a family suite as we are a family of four. The room is just nice with two double beds. It's also clean and comfortable, with aircon working fine. Location is also excellent as it is just next to jonker's street. The good thing was, it is far from the noise of the public karaoke, which is good esp at night. The hotel staff is friendly and approachable. Maybe the only grumble is the stairs are very steep so it will be quite a climb for those with bad knees.

• Natthaphon (10/5): Few steps to Jonker walk, Quiet, Nice location - I had a pleasant stay here. To me, this is one of the best location to stay in Malacca. Quiet as it is not on Jonker street but just a few steps to get there.
• Verified traveler (2/5): NOT WORTH IT. - I had a very unpleasant stay at this hotel last weekend. I reserved a twin room through Hotels.com but was given a double room instead upon check-in. The staff manning the reception did not inform me and imagine my surprise when I saw the double bed. When asked about this, the staff just casually said no twin rooms available due to renovation. I asked further why was I not informed prior to my arrival as I would have cancelled the booking. He was unapologetic and said it was the hotel's mistake. No upgrade nor apology offered. The room is extremely small with little maneuverability but it is clean. Do not be fooled by the term 'free parking' available. There are only TWO tiny and miserable parking spots behind the hotel. Even after I was promised a spot as I requested it from the hotel, there was no parking available. I was then told to park at an open carpark about 200 meters away. If it rains and you are travelling with heavy luggage or kids, I wish you luck. Parking reimbursement offered is only RM6 max per day while the parking attendant charges you twice the amount if you park overnight. The only positive thing about this place is the location. But it's NOT worth the price and there are plenty of other places within the Jonker area. I would NEVER stay in this hotel again.
• alex (8/5): Für 1 oder 2 Tage ok aufgrund der sehr guten Lage - Klimaanlage direkt aufs Bett gerichtet. Wenn man sie ausschaltet wird's zu heiß, lässt man sie Übermacht an erfriert man. Leider kein Fenster. Dusche etwas merkwürdig. Nach gefühlten 10 Hebeln und Schaltern gab es dann warmes Wasser. Lage ist direkt perfekt. Direkt in chinatown wo am meisten los ist.

• Omnia (8/5): โรงแรมเล็กๆ สะอาด ใจกลางเมืองเก่า - ครั้งนี้เป็นครั้งที่สองที่มาเยือนมะละกาเมืองเล็กๆน่ารักที่เต็มไปด้วยเสน่ห์ของวัฒนธรรม เลือกมาพักที่โรงแรม Vinz เพราะอยู่ในย่านเมืองเก่า Jonker ซึ่งไม่ไกลจากสถานที่ท่องเที่ยว ใกล้ร้านข้าวมันไก่ชื่อดัง พิพิธภัณฑ์ชาวเปอรานากัน และถนนคนเดิน สามารถเดินไปไหนมาไหนได้สะดวก โรงแรมสะอาด ห้องน้ำใหญ่และสะอาด พนักงานให้การต้อนรับและช่วยเหลืออย่างดี ราคาไม่แพง แต่เสียอย่างเดียวที่ไม่เก็บเสียง หากมีคนคุยกันด้านนอกจะได้ยินกันทั่วถึง เป็นที่รำคาญเล็กน้อย เนื่องจากเป็นโรงแรมขนาดเล็กๆ 2 ชั้น จึงไม่มีลิฟท์ ขั้นบันไดชันและสั้นมาก เวลาแบกสัมภาระขึ้นลง หรือผู้สูงอายุต้องเดินด้วยความระมัดระวัง

• Verified traveler (8/5): How I felt in Malacca - service rendered was almost excellent. It is a boutique hotel, it did not provide with any room service or breakfast. And the rooms could be a little small. It is very near to the famed Jonker Walk; it is just the net street.
• Verified traveler (6/5): 位置優越、服務人員親切、硬體普普 - 1.位置優越，位於唐清駱路路口，就在景點區內。 2.櫃檯已及服務人員都非常和善。多數都是華人。 3.住的是第一間房，隔音不太行，建議淺眠的避開第一間房。 4.房間小小、衛浴空間尚可，連衛浴大概六坪。 5.床是偏小、偏短，且床尾的部分，大概是因為沒有椅子緣故，大家就直接把東西放在床上、坐在床上，其實有部分已經被壓壞。 6.房間清的很乾淨，但浴室就真的有待加強。 7.當開始下雨後，早上醒來發現有小蟲蟲入侵衛浴間。 ‧總結：房費都是付給location，以及服務人員們的親切。

I noticed some comments about water damage to walls. If you look around many buildings in Malacca have these water damage as well.

Big bathroom, but the bedroom is rather small comparatively. Free WiFi, though rather weak at my room at 2nd floor. Would be more worthed if the price paid includes simple breakfast.
