• Samantha (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful location! Breathtaking views, away from town, secluded drive up the mountain. Very clean and easy to navigate through check in through check out. Partially furnished with kitchen/cooking supplies (pots and pans) but if planning to do a lot of it, I'd take your own supplies. Wonderful place for a weekend getaway and our favorite in Ruidoso! We will be booking there for our yearly trip.

• Jesus (8/5): - It has a nice view, it is a quiet place. The property has some opportunities in its maintenance as doors don't lock properly and some common areas are not in their best.
• Liliana (4/5): - Arrive to a used rooms and beds, I had to go pick up my own clean linens and make beds my self. The bathrooms were also used I had to used Clorox wipes to clean them and I think there was a mouse in the kitchen.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Mountain stay - Really nice view on the balcony. This was very high up on a mountain. The beds were okay nothing fancy but we had a good time. Definitely will come back again. There ia no fires for bbq at the stay but a place by the office where u can bbq

• Paul (6/5): So so.... - Not a bad place to stay but just not great either. Very out dated, it's like a time warp into the 70s. Our room had a smell, I think it was just the age of the building, because it wasn't dirty. The one good thing is that you have an amazing view. But our rooms sliding door leading to the balcony was inoperable. Like I said, it's not bad and it's not great. It's meh....

• VICTORIA (8/5): - The reviews for the property were mostly accurate---the condo buildings are quite dated and not the cleanest, but the views and hand--feeding the deer roaming about the property simply could not be beat! Very relaxing nature surroundings create an otherworldly feeling while being there. Was sad to go back to the city :-(

• Jesus (8/5): - Property is cozy, roomy for 4 or 5 people, it is rustic wells blend with the view, you can enjoy nature and a fantastic mountain view with all the amenities you need for an enjoyable stay. The pool is heated, clean and the personnel is friendly. The only down side were the doors on the restrooms and bathroom didn't close well other than that is a great place to stay

• Charles (4/5): Update your property - The place is crazy out of date and needs maintenance done. The only good thing is the size of the unit and the fast internet. Everything looks straight out of the 80s and the condition follows suit. They charge you if you do not take out your own trash. They give you a key and you have to return it no keycard so you physically have to check out. The TV in the living room is so tiny and the couch is so far away you can see. Won’t stay here again

• Arturo (10/5): Awesome for families - Place has amazing Views and amenities. Also the spaces of every room is more than adequate. Although is true that some details may show its age, is not overwhelming and the everything works as expected.
• Anthony (6/5): Please Update Unit and Fix Problems - Door wouldn’t unlock. Lock doesn’t work. AC is loud, beds are wore out. Shower heads are useless. Need more tables and chairs on porch. They text you a phone number that doesn’t work. I want to be able to call when I need to. Especially after taking my money. Needs to be updated big time!!

• Lisa (6/5): - We were a little disappointed. The facility only allows one vehicle to park near the building. The furniture in the living room (specifically the recliners) were old and very dingy. I wouldn't sit in them...a simple cover would help that. There were no extra sheets for the pull out bed or covers for that matter. They provided one towel per person and I don't think there were even enough for the people in our party. The sliding doors to balcony wouldn't open close easily.

• charles (10/5): - These high Sierra condominiums were great nice and convenient very clean very well-set-up everything Was there that we needed the only problems we had? Was the water pressure in the sinks and the bathrooms was low and I couldn't get very hot water in the other bathroom that's not the master. . But otherwise it was a great place it was convenient to everything. The views are amazing great place. I'll go back again.

• Dan (6/5): - The property is older and whoever is doing the maintenance needs to find a new job. Looks like band aid on band aid fixes. Bathrooms need a remodel bad. We saw a few bugs, silverfish spiders etc.

• Maria (2/5): - I was truly disappointed with the condition of the condominium. The air conditioner was not functioning, there was a spider in the kitchen's sink, and the lock to the sliding door did not work. I attempted to call the after hours phone number listed and there was no response.
• Dennis (8/5): Nice veiw of wildlife - The stay was nice but the room could have used some refreshing had not been stayed in for awhile spiders had made a nest in the tube and it smelled a lil musty due to being hot. But overall it was nice
• john (10/5): - Condo was much bigger than I expected. Perfect for a family of four. The outside deck and the Mountain View was spectacular. I would recommend and would definitely stay there again.
• JESSICA (8/5): - I liked the view of the Mescalero lake from the balconies, beautiful forest views with plenty of deer walking by. Pretty quiet area. I liked that there was a washer and dryer and a full kitchen. Unit appeared clean. I did not like that I was on a bottom unit and the staff placed another family upstairs which made the floorboards creek from their movements and interrupted our rest a few times too many. I did not like that despite the fireplace, we could only burn ONE clean burning log ( provided by the office)which when burning, looked like a large candle-flame, not a real fire effect. I also think the unit needs some updating; flooring , walls, bathroom (getting rid of the very low vanity) and kitchen are very outdated from the late 70's. Office staff was helpful and pleasant.
• Verified traveler (8/5): 2nd Floor - Property had tons of room. Disappointed we couldnt use the fireplace and there was only one grill for the whole property instead of each having their own. Upstairs neighbors were horrible, as a recommendation, If the property knows they have kids then put them on the 1st floor, not the 2nd. Property was Super Clean and the pool was Great. I would recommend to anyone, but ask for the 2nd floor. Front Desk were Super Nice! Thanks

• Richard E. (6/5): Check In was a disaster - While trying to check in, we were informed that they had overbooked. Apparently, they don't cross check online booking with telephone/in person booking. It took them 10 minutes to find our reservation, and then they informed us of what had happened. We were lucky in that there was one condo available for the night. If you are going to be using online booking services, figure out a way to cross reference bookings. If not, stick to one system. Other than that, the condo was clean and had an excellent view.

• Patricia (8/5): Lots of potential - With just a bit of attention, the condominium wouldve been perfect. The young lady at the front desk was helpful and very sweet. The unit was nice enough, but needed some maintenance. We noted loose floor tiles and a broken toilet piece that needed glueing. There wasnt any bar soap in bathrooms or bedding for the sofa pull-out bed, but front desk quickly provided. Dishes didnt feel clean so I washed before using. The kitchen cabinet doors felt like they had grease buildup on them. I noted a few other areas where cleanliness was lacking. On the positive side, the condo was roomy and the views wonderful. The beds were comfortable and bedding clean. We didnt have an opportunity to use the pool, but it looked clean. I dont know that this condo would be.our first choice, but we would consider staying again.

The pool does not work it was out they said it's been out for a year the bed was a little uncomfortable but the service was great loved the way they helped they couldn't find where I paid and they were working with me to see what happened they didn't have where I paid Hotels.com but I showed them great service .

• john (10/5): Weekend getaway - We had a great time at High Sierra. The location is amazing. Front desk staff was friendly, welcoming and professional. The unit was clean and fully loaded with two rooms, two full bathrooms, a kitchen, large living area, wet bar, and balcony overseeing the Inn of the Mountain Gods property.

Our unit was in need of many items broken, not working, missing linens, etc. etc. etc. Needs restoration and serious remodel. Was there a few years ago and it needed help then, but not this much! Robert and Rickey in maintenance were super! Deer family fun, views just gorgeous and best indoor pool and spa ever! Won't return until the daily rentals are liveable. Front desk said they are cutting back on tissue, etc. due to theft.....what? So the rest of us go without basics?

• James (4/5): Bad Property - High Sierra Condominiums - - Room not ready on arrival for 3 night stay, did place us in another unit with a view. The initial unit had no view. - The owner of this timeshare property arrived on our 3rd day and we had to be moved to another room, our original room, for the last night of our stay. - Would not go back to this unit due to the inability of the management staff to correctly handle occupants.

See you next year for annual vacation for sure!
