Guest Reviews
- rita de cassia gonzaga daux da silveira (9/5): -
- Colleen (9/5): Great Stay at a Great Location in Key West - Bali Bar very nice with friendly bartenders & live music most nights, nice quite pool, lovely room (Serene), coffee each morning; great location; I jogged every morning thru the older neighborhoods (no traffic) and walked everywhere from the state park beach to the museums to the sunsets at mallory square to off-the-beaten-path neighborhood breakfast/delis etc.. Music stops at 11pm... surprisingly quiet so close to Duval St... roosters are the main noise early AM:)
- Warren (4/5): Will not be back - Definitely not the price for what we experienced!! Lication
- Silvia (9/5): Buena estancia en Key West - La ubicación Todo bien
- Warren (1/5): I would never suggest to anyone to stay her nor would I book again. For the money spent I was very d - Locatiin No ice, no microwave and no coffee maker available.
- Stefan (9/5): -
- Michael (10/5): - My wife and I have come to KeyWest for years, this by far the nicest and affordable with great music and staff. It's our new go to place!
- Michael (10/5): - Awesome!
- DEBRA (10/5): - Location is great. Having a bar in the backyard was really nice. Only complaint would be that there is no in-room coffee & the office doesn’t open until 9. They are doing renos tho, so maybe that will solve that minor issue.
- Sean (10/5): - Excellent location right in the heart of town super friendly staff and very nice property
- Cristiana (8/5): - Great spot and decor. Drinks were over priced and served in small plastic cups.
- Josephine (10/5): - We felt like family. From the bar staff, Matthew and Ty, to the propery staff everyone was super friendly and helpful.
We stayed in the Boujee suite and it was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom amenities were top notch, island products. There was live music most nights of our stay which was a plus!
The property is right on Duval Street, but it feels so peaceful and quiet. We were welcomed as family with a "welcome home' from the moment we checked in. We will definitely be back.
- Margaret (10/5): Adorable hotel - Was a beautiful experience staying at a beautiful hotel. It was a million degrees and the pool was ideal. We loved the bartender that also sang at night. We loved how private it is being right on Duval.
- Devin (6/5): - Room was a little small for 2 people. I ordered a luxury king room. Which meant I paid more for a bigger room. But I didn’t get the room described/advertised online. When I asked the front desk they told me they just use standard photos from one of the rooms. So I felt like it was false advertisement. Also the music at the tiki bar on site was loud and you could hear it in the room. So if you wanted to go to sleep early you couldn’t. Because they played until midnight almost every night. Other than that the room was pretty clean and modern. Bed was decent.
- MICHAEL (10/5): - Great location. Close to everything and surprisingly quiet being right on duval.
- Anthony (10/5): Highly Recommended - Great place in a great location right in the heart of the action. The Bali Bar is awesome and Rich and gis staff are exceptional!
- Travel (10/5): - Everything you want in a property is right here! The location and amenities are amazing! It is walkable to anything you want or need, a coffee shop right next door, a great pool and bar on the property and the staff was EXCELLENT! I highly recommend The Key West Hotel!
- Jerome (6/5): - I have been to Key West over 10 times and this was my first stay directly on Duval because I wanted to be walking distance to most of the nightlife. Be careful what you wish for and know what you are getting into and remember it’s Key West downtown when booking here. It’s a party 24/7!
PROS: walkable to everything, small tiki bar out back of hotel and small private pool, lots of music from multiple bands can be heard ALL DAY AND NIGHT. Quaint old Florida feel to the building, lots of Florida wildlife around the property (lizards, chickens, ROOSTERS etc) think old school beach bungalow feel when visiting this property. If you like the old Florida feel and want to walk to the bars and food and be right in the mix then this is a great choice.
CONS:
You are literally downtown so get ready for that experience 24/7. It’s not a “hotel” but more like a multi room old house converted to individual rooms, walls are paper thin so you hear everything BRING EARPLUGS, roosters crowing ALL NIGHT, band out back plays till around 12 and tikibar is open later so no sleeping until about 2am at least. Garbage trucks early morning cleaning up the prior nights festivities around 6-7am but you will already be awake from the Roosters so no big deal right? Also you get to become intimate with your neighbors lives and conversations and bathroom usage at night due to the paper thin walls. If you want to party on Duval 24/7 this is the spot, if you want sleep and have any quiet time stay elsewhere.
- Mike (10/5): - We had a great time even the day it rained all day. We sat at the bar all day and it really was the best day of the entire trip.
- Christine (2/5): - We were stranded at the airport after being told that our flight was canceled. We started to look for a room through expedia. The correct date was entered but the app changed the date by one night. The room was booked for the wrong night. I reached out to
EXpedia immediately and they were unable to contact the hotel at that time. We are now being told that we will not get a refund. This is horrible customer service . At least give a credit. We will continue to fight this and this will not be the last time you hear from us.
- Katherine (10/5): - Beautiful room in a convenient location. The pool was clean and warm. Plenty of dining options nearby.
- Kolb (5/5): Quaint and secluded. Prime location but a little pricey - Location Noise and the smell of nearby trash cans
- Michael (10/5): - The little hidden gem in the heart of Key West! Matt and the team were outstanding hosts. My wife and I will definitely be back and we couldn’t recommend this recently renovated property more. It encompassed all of the charm that is Key West.
- scott w (10/5): - Little bit noisy but was expected right on Duval St
- Jeanne (10/5): Don’t miss The Key West Hotel experience. Go big or go home! - It is absolutely beautiful in every way. Staff is fabulous, rooms are luxurious but not pretentious, pool area feels like “the Hollywood glamour era”. It’s nice to see a fellow Long Islander NAIL IT!!!!!
- John (10/5): - Gorgeous property right on Duval Street but hidden from the noise and bustle. Convenient to everything you want to do and see. Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff.
- Shannon (10/5): - The management was top notch. The general manager was great and cared about how to make improvements. Matthew in the bar area was great. The people staying there were very friendly. The location was excellent. The Key West hotel is making improvements on the property and I cant wait to see what it looks like the next time we visit. Shannon and Steve Wallace
- Amie (6/5): Disappointed, no parking, not private - went for Fantasy Fest. Location awesome. But..they let local body painter block what could have been an unloading drive. We had to park on the side of another road to unload our belongings and drag them to the hotel. We knew June while booking, that they were updating, by October our room, there were no refrigerators no microwaves no way to get food at the hotel. We booked expecting these things. There was a Wendy’s close. But they gave us literally a cooler we had to but ice for. The bartender Matt was amazing drinks were $25 a piece. The staff cleaned constantly and pool was nice. No elevator so don’t bring a lot of luggage to drag upstairs. We book a private balcony got a shared one. The hot water didn’t always work. And there was no way to really hang towels near shower door. They had modest improvements but no charging ports for cell phones. There was no curtain over our door. It did have blinds, but it didn’t block the view of our bed so anybody could look right in and see it even with the blinds closed our room also was right up against another room that has a door that had been sealed, but you could see shadows under the door and we could hear them talking the whole time as I’m sure they could hear us that really took away from the privacy for us. It was not a private hotel. People walked in off of the street and walked where they wanted. Some drunks kids slept on benches inside sat. $3900/5 days plus $30 a day to ark two blocks away
- Melinda (8/5): - Street parking was expensive.
- Elizabeth (6/5): Happy but Not Happy - Room was big and had a little fridge and microwave. Good location to Mallory Square. But downfalls were no pool towels, little tiny bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash and there were 4 of us, no ice machine (had to buy bags of ice at CVS - if and when they had any in stock), NO PARKING and had to pay to park in a lot about 1/2 mile away every 24 hours. Difficult to unload the car upon arrival with traffic on Duval. Office is also not staffed 24/7. Might stay again for the room size and location though but will have to be better prepared if staying for more than one night.
- Donna (6/5): - It is right on Duval St which makes it accessible to almost everything in Old Town. However, the noise level in the evening and the morning hours it extends to definitely can be heard in the rooms. The venue is clean and nicely cared for the pool although smaller than in pictures was pleasant. When we booked the room, we were 3 people. By the time we arrived we were 2. Since one of us had a bad knee, we wish our booked accommodations was changed from the loft unit to one of the units at level, especially since they had vacancies. The loft is very inconvenient, especially for someone 71 years old. There is no bathroom upstairs. Trips in the evening to the bathroom...very dangerous. Also the kitchen?! does not have a sink to do dishes or water to make coffee. Everything has to be done in the bathroom. We met other residents at the pool who said there are other rooms that were more suitable. I don't want to give a poor review, I just thought they could have been more accommodating for older people and a knee problem.
- simranpaul (10/5): - Was pleasantly surprised. Perfect area. Perfect place. I would never have stayed outside. The zone would have been way too boring
- JORGE (8/5): - Convenient location close to popular places and short walk to boat docks. However, should be advertised under "spare room for rent". Bathroom door door doesn't even have a door knob. No drawers or closet to store clothes. It was clean, but had a tiny single bed suitable for a child. Little or very disturbed sleep due to the loud bars close by. Very old wooden house, and you hear every step upstairs.
- Kevin (10/5): - Great location!
- Janeen (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay. It was nice that our room was ready and could drop our stuff off early. Location was perfect. We walked to everything. And when we had some downtime we really enjoyed the warm pool. Slept really well. There was no noise at all. We really had a great day. The property was extremely clean and tidy.
- Kathy (8/5): Not for old folks - This room is not for senior citizens. It was 2 floors and the stairs up to the beds were steep, treacherous, and weird. My husband slept on a cot downstairs while I slept alone upstairs. No where in the description did it say there are 2 floors and it should.
- Gregory (10/5): - Room was very cute and quaint. Pool was nice. Little cobblestone sidewalk from street, lined with flowers!
- Amanda (10/5): - Great location right on Duval Street near all the action, great rate compared to nearby places. Pool is also a bonus. Will definitely be back.
- Cynthia (10/5): - Perfect location! Quiet and clean, loved room 3. Had everything we needed. Nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable and spacious. Definitely would stay again
- Andrew (10/5): Always wonderful - We've stayed at Casa once before and have a really great experience. So we decided to book again, even better this time. Room #3 worked perfectly for us. Will definitely book again soon!
- Nadine (10/5): Awesome place and location - 9-10!
- Jim (2/5): - It's a budget location with minimum furnishing. That's not our complain, we understood that coming in. The place seem clean at first, but by the middle of our trip we start to notice bite marks on us but just chalked it up as mosquito bites. But we noticed that bites different and some in area not exposed to mosquitos. It dawn on us that those were bed bug bite marks. Now that we're home and the marks are continuing to show up meaning they traveled with us home. We're in the process of spends hundreds if not thousands of dollars to treat it. We're only thankful that our daughter didn't get attacked.
We also saw a cockroach crawling across the kitchen table. I can not honest recommend this place.
- Katie (8/5): - The reason I give it a 2 star on Condition & Facilities is that it had a problem with mold in the vents of unit 6 and by the looks of it, it had been going on for some time. This is a problem when located in an area that is hot, humid and around water, but you have to stay on top of it.
- Tina (10/5): - Loved everything about the property and the stay except the parking but you have to expect that due to being right on duval . Would definitely stay again.
- Melynda (10/5): - Cute property, location is great to walk along Duval Street.
- Mike (10/5): - Parking is a bit tricky but the location and stay was fantastic. Would definitely stay again.
- Raye (10/5): Casa 325 Go - Stay was wonderful nice accommodations great location
- Katie (8/5): - Great place loved staying there. We had very little time with staff...our ac died they were quick in fixing it...we had no tv. Which was okmwith me
- MING QIANG (6/5): - Good location for visiting a few places by walking. Chinese restaurant nearby. Room is lacking tables even though it has space. Air conditioning is noisy.
- Nina (10/5): - This is a hidden gem!! I loved, loved the location. It’s not a fancy hotel, but it’s clean and way more spacious than a hotel. I liked the privacy. I enjoyed being able to step right off of Duval to change, freshen up or just relax on the porch. Hope to stay here many more times!!
- Danielle (10/5): - Wonderful accommodations for our large group
- Zoltan (10/5): - Great place in the middle of the action. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Parking convenient for small cars only.
- Theresa (10/5): - This is the ideal location for walking to everything Key West related. Accommodations for four were perfect. (We were in Room 3 - which is a full apartment) We walked down Duval Street every night. We walked to the southernmost point and the beach. Parking is VERY tight and call ahead. Thank goodness for good employee help and other guests being so accommodating. Location was quiet at night, we could hear the band across the way but it stopped early enough and did not disrupt sleep.
- Tammy (10/5): - Perfect location close to everything near Mallory Square.
- Alexander (10/5): - The location was awesome, you are right in the center of everything, just 10 feet from the street. Super convenient and comfortable the place was perfect!
- Krista (10/5): - Perfect location yet tucked back for some quiet when your ready to relax.
- DEBORAH (10/5): - Lovely kitchenette, beds were comfortable, good AC, pool, and very safe. I will stay here again. GREAT LOCATION! Unit #2
- Benjamin (10/5): - Located right in the center of everything and very good for walking to sites. Very nice support staff and more than adequate room.
- Scott (10/5): - Great location , tucked behind storefronts on duval. bed and pillows a little hard and floor was not as clean as we would expect but overall we really enjoyed our stay. we would definitely book again!
- James (10/5): - Very unique property and perfect location to Duval Street.. The staff was incredibly helpful and courteous throughout our stay. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Key West.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The manager was super helpful in arranging a different room for us after we saw an issue with stairs in the first booking. She was so very nice, understanding, and resolved our issue.
- Elissa (8/5): Great location and service with nice pool - Unbeatable location and super friendly & helpful staff. Rooms in the back by the pool looked beautiful. We stayed in one of the lofts. It was very spacious, with a nice living room area and kitchenette. The steps were super steep, so we couldn’t bring up our suitcases. We could hear the people in the next room completely and they weren’t being loud. Very thin walls. We made it work by using a white noise app.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfection! - Beyond thrilled with Casa 325!!! We stayed in Room 2..was a little concerned based on other reviews that it would be loud, since its closest to Duval and right next to the office but never heard a thing with the exception of garbage truck in the morning and the roosters! We had a large sitting room in the front, kitchenette area and spacious bedroom. Location is perfect.. grounds/pool area are small but so lush and tropical..an oasis in the middle of the action. Will DEFINITELY stay again!
- Paul (10/5): Overnight In KeyWest - Property was simple and cozy. Just off the main drag for entertainment and shopping. Had dinner and drinks only a few doors down which was very convenient. And, when we arrived to our room, it was peaceful/quiet considering our location. Made coffee this morning and had it at poolside during sunrise - quite nice. We parked our Jeep Cherokee off site because we thought the drive was too close for comfort. Several "larger" vehicles did park here (minivan and ford edge) so it's doable and inexpensive. We found a lot at 808 Southard St. for $15 cash/day only 10-15 min stroll away which worked for us. A good choice for a longer stay if you spend most of your time out and about.
- Ann (10/5): - Perfect location on Duval St! We could walk everywhere. Excellent restaurants close by. We loved our stay at Casa 325!
- Jean (8/5): - This property is right on Duvall but hard to find - even with detailed instructions. Tucked away behind the main road, its a lovely little nestled home. Great place to walk from. Parking is extremely tight and must be reserved before
arriving. Surprisingly quiet and we slept well
- Mary (10/5): - Comfortable bed and pillows, cute room, nice pool area. Friendly helpful staff, convenient location right on Duval walking distance to Mallory Square, Zachary Taylor Park and most attractions and bars and restaurants,
- Russell (10/5): - Location is very convenient.
- Samantha (10/5): - The swimming pool is very tiny and not heated to a comfortable temperature
- Michelle (10/5): Super cute and convenient - This place was so comfortable to stay in! And the best part was how it was right smack in the middle of everything. Surprisingly it wasn’t that noisy even with the amount of people in the street. The only issue I had was looking for parking I legit spent like two hours until 5 PM to be able to park at an overnight parking lot that was across the block on Caroline Street but overall everything is great.
- Liderman (10/5): - Super friendly staff beautiful place really cozy great location
- Amy (10/5): Would stay here again! - Very clean. I loved the tropical feel. The person at the front desk was very helpful. Wonderfully located right on Duval St! We would definitely return again!
- Wanda (10/5): - Very nice room. The staff was great.
- Garrick (10/5): - Close to things.
- Patricia Guerra (8/5): - Great location, parking area very tight and narrow for midsize car. People who struggle with stairs should double check room level and room location due to stairs outside. Rooms were nice and room with loft like room 6 beds are located upstairs with a awkward stair/step would be difficult for people with physical limitations. We left our heavy luggage downstairs. Area is perfect for walking straight onto main strip. Many restaurants in walking distance. Overall We enjoyed our stay. Entrance into area is a little tricky but its next door to hard rock cafe and a blue booth green awning leads into back parking area for your stay
- Amy (8/5): - Location, location, location! This property was in the middle of fun! Could not ask for a better location! 3 blocks to Mallory Square and within steps to bars, restaurants and shopping!
The pool was a favorite! We floated in there for hours when not eating, drinking, boating and kayaking!
The property could use some updates. And towels were not always accessible for the pool. The office closed before it’s stated hours and that’s where all pool towels were kept. We tried to reuse the towels we got at check-in but they were taken by housekeeping.
We were in room 11 which is HUGE! No hangars provided for makeshift clothing bar (no closet) and no real dressers to put clothing in and the bathroom lacks places to put stuff when in the shower, which tends to drain into the bathroom… no lid on the toilet either to put stuff when getting ready. And yes there is a kitchenette but no sink, so no place to clean or place dirty dishes other than the bathroom so I had to leave for housekeeping.
I really hope management takes this feedback seriously as we would love to return if they do some updates.
- Anthony (10/5): - It was very good lacation on Duvall. Drive way to parking was tight but very doable for a Durango.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Keys Week - We were really surprised at the size of our room. It was twice the size of a typical place. The room was not cheap, but it was very comfortable. The entire property was very well kept and their staff very friendly.
- Francis (10/5): Great hidden gem. - This hidden Gem was a great location for our trip. The room was huge and the beds were comfortable. Being just a few steps from Duval and all the nightlife was perfect.
- Debra (10/5): - The premises were very nice and the pool only steps away. The lane alongside the building to the lot was so small we had to pull our mirrors in to pass. There was also a tree you had to maneuver around creating more difficulty. Unfortunately I scratched the vehicle.
- malcolm (10/5): - Hidden yet close to duval many bars
- Amanda (10/5): - This was a cute little place hidden off the main drag. Parking is tight so plan on a small car. Will definitely be returning!
- Vicki (10/5): Perfect getaway spot - We arrived late due to flight cancellation. We found our room to be comfortable, clean, and quaint. The location is perfect for walking the island, very close to shops, restaurants, bars, ect. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The pool was clean and the patio & garden were very nice.
- Faver (10/5): - I love the colonial style of the house.
- Tammy (10/5): - Great location
- Frank (10/5): - Parking is very difficult car got a small Dent on it from another vehicle in parking lot very tight
- Susan (10/5): Cozy, cute, reasonable, and romantic! - We were so happy with the atmosphere and location. We were right there in the middle of all the fun, but the Inn itself was cozy and quiet. Super cute and romantic place to stay! I would recommend Casa 325 for sure, and I would stay there again without hesitation!
- Janet (6/5): - Cute place with great location.
Broken shade in bedroom and bathroom. Bathroom exhaust fan did not work. Shower floor mat was gross. White bed sheets were not very white. Towels were very thread barren. Internet would not connect.
- Sheila (10/5): A gem! - This place is a little gem! Right in the heart of Duval St. and the Key West party scene, but you would never know it! It’s set back from the street in a garden. Quiet and secluded, it’s composed of charming old buildings. We will definitely be back!
- Stacey (10/5): - Fantastic beautiful Casa! Clean bright and close to everything!
- Bonnie (8/5): - Very convenient location on Duval Street. Enjoyed setting on porch and listening to singer at club across the street in the evening. It was like having a private concert. Only issue with loft suite is the challenging stairs to get to bedroom. Just take them slow and no problem
- Judy (10/5): - This was great lodging, very nice room. Very convenient to everything which was great for us coming off Key West Express. No need for a car. The only thing is you must be aware that because it is on Duval St. You will hear music very late , which was not a problem for us.
- Mary Margaret (8/5): - Casa 325 is located in a busy but fun area. This part of Key West is easily walkable. The “joke” is that everywhere you want to go is a 7 minute walk.
The staff was wonderful and our room was spacious. The one thing lacking in our kitchenette that would have been useful is a sink.
- Tim (10/5): - Cute place. Surprised how convenient it was to all the fun.
- Tara (10/5): - Great location!
- Robert (10/5): - Excellent place to stay, close to everything.
- Lori (8/5): - The large studio room was just as described, the room was very clean and the had everything we needed. The only thing I'd change is the bathroom floor extremely slippery with slope of tile coming out of the shower. I would also like to see a hairdryer in the rooms since the desk staff is very limited on when they are present.
- terri (10/5): - Location, location, location! Set back about 20 yards from Duval street. Close to the action, everything in walking distance. Garden area/pool area was an oasis. Wrap around porch with rocking chairs kick back relax, and take in the sights and sounds.
- judith (8/5): Lively and Lovely - Lovely apartment. Nicely furnished. Parking lot is small and drive way is VERY narrow. Loud section of town. Older building lets in street noise. Can't be helped
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great value - Nice place. very good location!! staff were great. It can be nosey but AC drowned out much of the party noise.
