• Navigator48632736282 (2/5): Timeshare presentation - The hotel itself was nice but the timeshare presentation was horrible.! Old ridiculous sales tactics from the salesmen at the destin florida location. A young kid named Austin and his boss were acting so nice at first, of course, then unloaded alot of lies about their timeshare package telling us there are no extra hidden fees. Haha, nice try. Then they were incredibly rude when we declined to buy one. The timeshare is a complete rip off. Don't do it. They will lock you in with fees for life.

Only negative thing is that I was scheduled to take a tour of the property at noon and they told me that I couldn't do it due to some technicality. The 2 bedroom unit was large and nicely furnished. Everything you need. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Christine at the front desk and J set up golf reservation.
• jcool0000 (2/5): Wyndham Miramar Panama joke - We check in and we get bombarded as usual with some BS. Don't want to do anything but stay with what we bought 20 years ago. This place does not have a balcony in the room. It's an entrance into your room. No balcony. My picture is the view from our room only. Beach blocked by this Seascaoe thst is not Wyndham. A barely view of the beach around the real Seascape. Bathroom dirty with mold. They call you each day trying to get you to upgrade to the next BS. Do not stay or book with a blocked view at the Wyndham Seascape. We are leaving 5 days early and driving home 10 hours. What a joke of a Wyndham hotel in Panama Miramar Beach. So disappointed 😞 We wish we could get rid of the Wyndham and never book again.
• donnasE3013DQ (10/5): Wonderful stay. - We were gifted a stay at the Wyndham Club at Miramar Beach, FL. It was very nice. The room was great, it was mostly quiet the whole week. There was plenty of room. We had a view from our balcony of the water and enjoyed listening to the waves crashing. The parking was good and the walk to the beach was maybe 5 minutes.

We enjoyed our stay except for when they kept bothering us to sit through one of their meetings. They have to leave people alone when they go on vacation they called my phone 10 times text me this is harassment, and deter me from wanting to come to these places because you have to sit through these people talking to you who just wanna be on vacation I wish to do something else.not a happy owner
• markel877 (10/5): Majestic Sun Miramar Beach FL - We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit in building C. The view was nice. It was considered partial ocean view. We had Sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon on the balcony. Convenience in the area was good. The unit was clean and very nice.

Apartment was comfy. clean, huge comfy bed, spa bath, all amenities you would need. Given the hard sell to attend a lengthy time share meeting by rep. Said no. He didn't take no for an answer. Said we should attend as we were guests of the owner and it would help him keep his job. Erm no, we paid a lot of money for this so we are not guests of the owner.!! So he was told NO!!!
• Elizabeth (1/5): The about of care the staff have for clients or maybe just us was Horrible. Only cared about pushing time share appointm - Hotel is close to a shopping center that it! I booked for a jacuzzi hot tub inside the room from booking website but when I arrived they were sold out. Also, the hot tubs outside didn’t work the water did not get hot. This trip was ruined because what my fiancé wanted most y’all took away from us. Relaxing in hot tubs the whole weekend. The 3 1/2 hours was a waste of time.
• kktravelsalot23 (10/5): Girls trip - Five girls stayed at the Wyndham Majestic Sun for a girls trip in September 2023. We had a two bedroom unit which was perfect and had a great view of the ocean. The beach was amazing, the room was awesome, and we could easily walk to the coffee shop and souvenir shops. Parking in the garage Was always easy. We never had to wait on the elevator. I would highly recommend you can come in during September.
• Louisianatraveler11 (10/5): 3 night beach stay - We rented from the Wyndham hotel app for 3 nights. We stayed in a 2 bedroom deluxe with partial beach view(tower B). The room had been mostly remodeled. Everything was great-ac worked great. The beach view was nice from the balcony. Everything was clean & well kept. The indoor outdoor pool is in building A-short walk from our building. There were 2 hot tubs & showers to rinse off sand near the pools. Use the fence code from the pool to the beach across the street. Take stairs down to the beautiful beach. The walk was short-steep stairs but not many. This area is very nice-crystal clear waters. Covered parking in garage near elevators. We really enjoyed our stay & said NO to the high pressure timeshare meeting. Although this is prob an older place it’s very nice & mostly updated.

• RussellGriffith (4/5): Disappointed with this stay - Very disappointed with our accommodations at Wyndham Majestic Sun. We’ve stayed here before and had really good rooms but… It was very reminiscent of an old Super 8 in need of renovations. The room smelled rancid, the décor was old and dumb, the fridge wouldn’t stay closed, the TVs were tiny, you had to whisper because the walls were thin, the tub had sandpaper on the bottom so you couldn’t take a comfortable bath. The pool was nice but crammed full of kids – literally 20 kids in a hot tub made for 8.

Check in was quick and easy with checkout being the same. I would stay again. Friendly staff, clean and well-kept rooms, safe environment. Close to restaurants and stores.

• 890JimW (8/5): Nice Couple Escape Weeknd - A couples retreat for a weekend in Destin to use our Wyndham points. We had a small studio, which was clean and comfortable. Beach is a quick walk across the street (too cold the weekend we visted) and there are two resturaunts on site. Spa is next door at Surfside and is a great place to go. Good place for golfers as you are right at the course. Hot tub and indor/outdoor pool were nice, but a long walk in the cold windy afternoon. Check in was very good and staff was friendly.
• GUILLERMO (6/5): - Property is not ocean front. The units you will get as a suite will be a one bedroom overlooking the parking facility. Small windows allowing for lite illumination. You feel pressured at Check-in to commit to a presentation as your keys are not provided by the front desk agent but rather you're passed to a "concierge". This person's job it to get you to commit to a presentation and afterwards you're given you're room keys. Keys are wrist band style that show everyone you're a club member or guest. I don't find this safe at all. Staff is happy to see you at first and engages with you as you arrive. Once they can't overcome your objection, the mood changes. It's a decent place and location is walking distance to beach. Dining venues are somewhat close but not worth it beach front. Prices are high and quality is average at best. You're better not going to any of the "suggested" places and venture out to the main artery in HWY 98. Go to Grand Blvd if you want Hugh end venues.

• 284susanr (2/5): Small, dirty, smells, and not handicap - We called to tell them we needed a handicap room as my husband is a cancer patient and I have several herniated disc. When we go into the room the smell about knocked us down. It was extremely small with a view of a parking lot and dirty. It is on a walkway and when anyone goes by they can see in your room and it is noisy. We went to the front desk telling them we needed a handicap room and they said that's what we were in. What disabled person can climb into a tub? They said they had no other rooms available. We are Wyndham owners and this is not what we expected.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - This is a ownership vacation resort which we found out the hard way. Nothing mentions this when booking but when you get there to check in, the receptionist asks you to talk to the concierge before you get your keys. It starts out with here are some maps and restaurant recommendations etc then you quickly get told you are on the “owners guest list” to attend this 2 hour long meeting. They don’t say what for, just that you get a free gift. Well this whole thing turned into me constantly telling them I was not interested and they would not take no for an answer, they even said they wanted to talk to my wife about it and I said no. I was going to just tell them a time I was gonna go and not show up but they want a credit card for deposit on the “gift” This is insane, I’m on vacation, I’m not sitting in a non-mandatory sales pitch for 2 hours. They ultimately took us off the list and saying no about ten times. Other than that parking is good and beach access is great as well however the rooms look nothing like they do on the listing. What I thought was going to be a nice colorful clean room with a view turned out to be only gray and white, a dirty bathtub, a view of the parking garage, and air conditioning that only worked the last 3 hours in our room. It was constantly 76 inside. I would not stay here again, beach access is great but the stupid sales pitch, not as described rooms, and poor cleanliness and a no go for us.

• paulines431 (8/5): Beautiful!! - First let me begin by thanking God for blessing our family with this trip. This resort is inside “Seascape” and is surrounded by other resorts. Majestic Sun has two buildings—A and B with a parking garage separating them. We learned quickly that you definitely want Building A. It is where the pool and gym are located not to mention a full view of the ocean. Our room did have a beautiful view from the balcony. The one thing that I loved about the location of this resort was easy access to anything. Be sure to check it out!
• sudanfarms (8/5): Beautiful Resort - This was our first time here. We are Wyndham owners. The weather was chilly and rainy and we were only there for two nights. Hope that we can return someday at another time of year. The view of the beach was beautiful and there were many restaurants to choose from, but with Covid we did not venture out to any.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Hotels.com was a disaster - Stay was great! Booking it through hotels.com was a complete nightmare!!!! Went for my best friends sons funeral and hotels.com did not send my reservation over to the property. I almost ended up sleeping in my car as all the rooms were booked and had to pay for an additional 2 nights since they didn’t send my payment to the property. I would book elsewhere such as the actual hotel sites.

Great Accommodations, Great location and Great service from this Site in spite of Our ongoing WYNDHAM hassles regularly... • Adam (10/5): Weekend Getaway - Enjoyed our stay. Great room. Grounds and facilities are kept in excellent condition. Would have loved an extended check out time.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Just Meh - Hotels.com app lies. No free breakfast. No free parking ($10 for tag). The app says both are free. The app also says the property is "on the beach". It is NOT. It is across the highway from the beach. Accomodations are average. Not too old but not new enough to include any USB charging ports anywhere. Our windows looked out upon the walkway to rooms, so you can't leave your curtains open. Wyndham resorts then inundates you with sale pitches. Strongarmed into sales breakfast that you pay a $20 deposit. Cancel ASAP. Give fake phone number. Finally, I spent 20 minutes on writing a heartfelt review to help subsequent vacationers but when I tried to post that review, the app said I had taken too much time. Grounds look nice but it rained everyday we were here. Destin area is WAY too busy and pricey, even in off season.
• ThongJohn N. (8/5): Overall excellent... except.... - The room, customer service, location, staff were perfect. Extremely nice all around. Love the guest services. The one thing that foiled the experience is the moment you check in, be prepared to be bombarded by aggressive sales representatives displaying aggressive car sales tactics to get you to buy time shares. I had 4 calls to my room in two days aggressively pushing “free 7 day 6 night stays” if I come and tour the property. That isn’t what I would call a standard vacation experience. My intention was to come here and relax/escape. So heads up, this added a little hiccup to what was otherwise a great place to stay. I highly recommend staying place but be polite and ignore these salesmen.
• Francisco (10/5): Excellent location and amenities!! - Great location!! Quick walk to the beach with great amentities such as 4 pools, gym, walking trail, and concierge. We would definitely stay here again! At first I was worried that I wouldn’t like the area, but it’s perfect for the whole family. Everything is conveniently located which helps a lot when you have toddlers.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Too small unit with no view #464 - This review is for unit 464. Just stayed 2 nights and paid close to $800 for 2 adults and 2 kids in a 1 bedroom suite. This room has no view or balcony. Two windows face the open corridor for unit doors just like in a motel. LR had a bed sofa and once open the area that also doubles as kitchen is so small that it is claustrophobic. The last day LR fan light glass fell on my daughter, 20, when she pulled the switch. That gave us a scare. Luckily she seems to be fine. This unit is overpriced for what it offers and i would not even chose it had I known it would not have any view on top of parking lot. Pressured to attend a time share presentation also while checking in. The beach in front on a Friday was so overcrowded that it was unreal. Not possible to relax at all.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Great place to stay - This hotel is a great place to stay in Destin. The room was updated and clean, and the staff was very welcoming and helpful.

• Rick (8/5): Great stay by the Gulf - Registration staff was very friendly and helpful. This was not a full service hotel so we never reall saw any other staff. It was very quiet and clean.

• Shajan (6/5): Good hotel but wrong time! - It was a good hotel but unfortunately, on the day of our check in the water pipes had a problem and we were stuck in our rooms without water until 9 am in the morning. They compensated by moving us to a different room but all that was a hassle. Would have appreciated if they dealt with their problems with little effect on customers
• Mary (2/5): BEWARE - Beware of room location when booking this hotel. I called the property specifically and asked if we were ocean front. They said yes, but upon checking in, we discovered our room was behind a tall building by the trash chute overlooking the parking deck...a far cry from a view of the beautiful Gulf Coast! Guest Services did NOTHING to appease us. Only after I contacted HOTELS.com were we moved to a better room for our last night. Their time share lure was annoying when checking in. In order to get our parking pass, we had to see the Timeshare sales staff who rattled off the prizes for attending a 90 minute meeting. UGH! We declined. • B (4/5): Don't go barefoot! - Pro: excellent location, good size room with fridge and stove and microwave and kitchen utensils. Friendly staff Cons: grimy sticky floors through out. Poor water pressure in shower and sink. Also, did not like that we had to put money down to attend a timeshare meeting (which we did not attend) during check in (which took entirely too long). We were refunded the money on checkout but took close to 20 minutes and a trip to a different building.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel across the street from the beach. - Karen at the front desk started our stay off great. The expedia description said jetted tub. That's only for deluxe condos. That was the only disappointing thing. Other than that our stay was there was good.
• Verified traveler (6/5): not on the beach - The picture makes it look like it's on the beach, but there is a road to cross. There are also 4 huge hotels blocking the view of the beach. The hotel parking lot was very empty, but we were put in a room with a view of the parking Garage, on the end of the floor. The noise was so loud from neighbors and water rushing through the pipes all day and night. Was it because we didn't agree to listen to their 90 minute sales pitch for Wyndham properties? I think so. Also, the "indoor" pool was in a neighboring building, not the one we stayed in.
• Corey (10/5): Very nice. - Very nice location, room with easy access to parking, beach and other amenities. Clean with friendly staff.
• JJ (2/5): Misleading Advertisement - This was a subpar experience at a "beachfront" hotel. The photo posted on Expedia is misleading. It appears to me as though you have a reasonable expectation for an ocean view. the hotel is turned perpendicular to the ocean, and has two other non-Wyndham Majestic Sun properties that run parallel to the ocean in between that block your view. Upon check in, you are directed to "guest services", where I was held up for almost an hour by a VERY aggressive salesman trying to schedule me for breakfast at IHOP, and promised things like free rounds of golf and free vacations in return. When I declined, he pressed. I told him I'd discuss with my wife once we got settled and finalized our schedule, and he replied, "is that her out in the truck? I can just go discuss it with her now." Appalling. The room was nice overall, other than the previous guests' pubic hairs we found on the obviously unclean sheets. Do yourself a favor if you're looking for a relaxing vacation with a nice view--keep looking.
