- HELENA (7/5): correcto - hbitación muy grande y limpia hotel muy muy antiguo con ruidos de nevera y electrodomesticos.
- Lori (6/5): - Great location and clean hotel The pool was not heated.
- Bente (9/5): Great location - We have stayed here many times. Older local hotel with theme based common area decor. No gambling (a big + for us)
Great location (close to UNR). Friendly staff. Great indoor pool. Wonderful beds.
Garage is a bit funky = best for smaller cars.
Wonderful India restaurant across the street (+ food court) Sometimes night noice from the establishment across the street, otherwise nothing to complain about.
- Ashley (10/5): -
- Christian (10/5): - Great location and indoor, gates parking. Initial towel was dirty but they brought up extras immediately.
- Jerry (6/5): I will will stay at another hotel next time in Reno. - Hotel was ok
Hotel close to Amtrak Over price
We were on the 11 floor and could still hear the street noice.
Noice from guests 3 AM
- Diggs (10/5): - Was a great place...even bought pillows from the hotel like the ones in the rooms...which they sel!! The garage and garage elevators need a little work...but were very secure st night
- Suchithra (10/5): Very clean with old school charm! - Convenient location with free parking. The hotel had an old world charm with immediate access to the Truckee river. The staff was very polite and extremely accommodating as they allowed late checkout without a fee.
- Roderick (6/5): - Big room, downtown location. Maybe the most dated place I have ever stayed in. Seemed stuck in 1988.
- Karen (10/5): Will come again for sure! - Private, old time feel.
- Liza (9/5): Our wedding and honeymoon was perfect and the room made it that much better. - Our room was extremely spacious and the jacuzzi bathtub was perfect; the view from our room was amazing; and the pool was clean with a comfortable temperature. The parking was a bit tight.

Decent shower Old and scary
Popcorn ceiling
Room tilted
- Erik (6/5): Tired. - Location ok. Large room. A bit tired feel. The air in the room smelled like cleaning fluid and the windows do not open. Could hear the elevator running even though we were not next to it.
- Paul (10/5): -
- Belinda (8/5): - Room was large and the bathroom (king room) staff was friendly , bed was comfortable Outdated , parking garage a bit confusing

- Jolanta (6/5): -
- William (8/5): Great value and location - Great location on the River Walk Pillows were WAAAAAY too hard - the hardest foam I have encountered - I had to take off the pillow case and put my puffy coat in it to be able to sleep - also the fan in the room was very noisy.
- Roisin (9/5): Comfortable and good value for money - Warm welcome on our arrival. Spacious rooms with everything we needed. Finding our way to reception from level 2 car park could be clearer.
- Christine (8/5): Wunderbar . Wir kommen gerne wieder - Riesen Zimmer . Tresor. 2 Badezimmer. Esstisch . Sehr bequemes Bett . Nichts
- Jennifer's54 (9/5): - Building Three pill closed too early.
- toni (10/5): - El reloj Ascensor pero molan los bomberos
- Necol (10/5): -

Location is very nice, quiet and peaceful. The hotel is located in the downtown, but in a quiet corner where there is no noise. Everything is amazing!
- Mitchell (7/5): Old but clean and of good value - Old but clean. Great location near the riverwalk. Old and out of date.
- Dancel (10/5): -

- Bente (8/5): Great hotel in the heart of Reno - We have stayed here several times. Love the place and location - just 5 min from UNR.
The staff is really nice. Great indoor pool. Love the historic theme on each floor - the things I did not know about Reno. Will explore more next time.
Love the Indian restaurant across the street. Need to bring better ear plugs because of the party goers across the street. ... which is a bummer and of course nothing to do with the hotel itself.
- Tatiana (10/5): -
- Alfriend (8/5): -

- Alfred (9/5): We had a great experience at charming Plaza Resort Club Reno - The location was great, staff was super friendly. We came to visit for the pride festival and will stay here again on our next visit to Reno. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner
- Jimmy (10/5): Fantastic stay -
- Sofia (8/5): -
- giovanni (10/5): Our stay was amazing, and we would definitely love to stay here again. - The service was amazing — the staff was very warm, friendly, and attentive. The hotel has a classic style, but it is in excellent condition and very clean. It is also located in a very convenient area, just a 5-minute walk from the main casinos.
- Kathleen (9/5): - Fabulous large room. Terrific staff.!!!
- Robert (10/5): - My “go to” hotel in Reno. Would be nice to have food.
- Wendy (10/5): - Old school charm! The parking garage elevator is awful!
- Matthew (7/5): -
- Robert (10/5): Great location, great price and great staff! Would stay here again! - The room was huge! Older aesthetics but definitely didn't mind it at all. Bed was super comfy and everything worked great! Nothing worth noting or can be actioned upon.
- Greg (10/5): Upon arriving at the hotel the first night, the front desk clerk was exceptional nice helping us. Give that girl a raise - Very convenient to the casinos and shops . Nothing.
- Majerle (7/5): -
- james (10/5): -
- james (10/5): I’ll be right back - I missed the breakfast but they had a coffee machines that I swear I drained this machine made the perfect mocha latte It’s was cold in Reno haha
- Jonathan (7/5): - Coffe and drinks at the bar was nice. Secure parking lot. The area was pretty run down.
- Grace (8/5): - Small, older hotel, loved that it was super quiet unlike the larger cssino/hotels close by. The location was great! Check in process is old school and takes a few minutes, check in online if its available to you.
- John (8/5): Pool issues - I liked the room and pool I did not like that I received an email through booking.com from the hotel stating the pool would be closed during our stay. I did not notice the year mentioned was wrong, as I assumed this was current news. I did not bring a swimsuit and ultimately bought one in order to use the pool! This automated message needs to be corrected.
Also, I did not like that there was a swim school using part of the pool while my husband and I swam.
- Cierra (9/5): -
- sergi (10/5): Great time. - Awesome N/A
- Edward (8/5): -
- Nina (10/5): Nice stay - The staff were friendly and helpful. The property was near the River Walk and historic places. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable but a little outdated.
- David (4/5): I need a makeover and an elevator repair person on call! - Location Rooms need to be updated. Front desk not too friendly. Parking elevators not working. Pain. Bring back the breakfast. Covid is over. Where did the tv go in the pool room? Adding chemicals to pool while we are in it…lame.
- Wyo Roadie (9/5): More serene than casino places. - No screaming kids or drunken gamblers. Good location. A bit overpriced (to keep out the riff-raff?).
- White (1/5): - Old, dirty, and stinky
- Rosamond (10/5): - Great Location
Very Clean
Good Value
- joseph (7/5): -
- Michael (9/5): NA - NA The desk staff are very nice, they seem happy all the time.
- Jahmai (1/5): Would have been better if the place was haunted. - We arrived at the Plaza after midnight. The place was locked up, and the reception abandoned. We tried the button outside, but no one responded. I tried calling the hotel, but it was an automated labyrinth with no help within. Also, the area looked sketchy. We ultimately decided to bypass Reno altogether thanks to this lousy hotel.
- Ryan (8/5): Nice safe - Quit No breakfast
- Mohammad Khalid (10/5): -
- Mitchell (8/5): - Great decor
- Amy (10/5): Hidden gem - This is a hidden gem in downtown-the Soeakeasy bar was the bomb, the rooms are large and comfortable and the location is convenient!
- LAURA (4/5): - The area is not safe at all. Had to pay extra for a remote to open parking gates just to park. The area was quiet during the day and a zoo at night. Partying in the streets and street racing. We stayed for 2 nights and did not sleep.
- joseph (1/5): -
- Michael (8/5): - Nice kind of antique looking hotel on the River. Room was nice clean and quiet, I was on the 14th floor so had A view. There was a fridge and microwave which is a must to me. Comfortable bed so I slept well. They don’t charge for their secure parking which is in the lower floors of the building.
There are walkable bars and restaurants, in the daytime. The neighborhood could use a little upgrade, I’ve stayed here twice and haven’t had any problems, but I also don’t walk around outside at night in this area of Reno.
- Justine (5/5): - old smelly
- Zaid Zafar (9/5): - The staff was very friendly and everything was smooth
- Andrew (10/5): -
- Bente (9/5): Enjoyed our stay - This was our second 1-night stay so we were familiar with the hotel. It is a hotel for those of us who come to Reno for other reasons than the casinos (they are within walking distance if that's your desire).
The hotel is a bit older with a lot of funky character. The rooms are larger than average, the beds are big and very nice, and the location is great (5 min drive from UNR and walking distance to the river park, restaurants, and the movie theater.
The 7th floor has a wonderful heated in-door pool that we spend a lot of time in.
We will be back. We have nothing to complaint about. As long as you are ok with a bit funky (like each floor is decorated with a Reno history theme & the parking garage is a bit wonky) then you are fine at this hotel.
- Geresa (10/5): - We will be back ;)
