- Cheryl (8/5): Good value, location perfect for my visit, cordial owner who made it easy to book - The room was comfortable and clean and everything worked as expected. I spoke with the manager prior to the visit and he made making my reservation easy and responded to my request for a non smoking/no pets room.. The parking was right outside the door-very convenient. I would stay there again the next time I visit the Berkshires. nothing
- Jessica (10/5): lovely stay in MA made to be a seamless process - easy to access, near a road, private entry, parking just outside room heating source
- Ashmore (10/5): - Everything Getting kicked out

- Cheryl (3/5): - Bed was nice Charged more than I was expecting, space heater for heat, TV controller didn't work didn't have a replacement had to get my own for TV to work, outlets were loose so plugs kept falling out, shower had no grab bars. Fuse would blow with space heater and coffee pot on. Seemed like false advertising

- Dale (3/5): To be expected given price was 1/2 going rate for the area/date. - Never interacted with staff.
No central heat, just a little tabletop unit. Took 6 hrs to warm up the room.
No sign of any ice machine.
- Ganna (10/5): - For road side motel- excellent. Air conditioning working, bed is comfortable, water is hot. Check in was easiest.
- Morton (7/5): -
- Zanoli (8/5): - It was a classic room nice for the area. It was clean and quiet great for a night alone with my husband. The water was hot and it had all the little perks that you need like a fridge and microwave. I will definitely stay again.
- Daniel (10/5): Very cute and cozy motel, would be cute in any season - Very cute and quant spot to be explore central Massachusetts
- Dawn (6/5): Fine but kind of creepy -
- Marco (8/5): -
- Lawrence (1/5): SUCKED!!! - the TV and the bed I never met the guy face to face. The whole experience was ABSOLUTELY SKETCHY!!! Boder line CREEPY! Out of the both of us, my daughter used the shower once, I never used it. She said it smell like URINE! WTF! I went to Planet Fitness to shower. We felt like we were constantly watched. You should take this property off your website, Seriously!!!!!!!
- Dave (8/5): - It was very cozy, cute, and comfortable Housekeeping was lax even after I asked for a trash pickup which never happened. The room was never serviced on the four days I was here..(There were never more than 2 other cars in the lot. At one point I was the motel's only guest so I'm not really sure what happened.)
- Kelly (10/5): - Our hot and cold water was reversed in the shower in room 6. I realized this after a cold plunge thinking there wasn’t any hot water. The bathroom was cramped. A larger person couldn’t navigate, but it was fine for us. Nice that it had Roku. Affordable.
- Lynn (10/5): Wonderful stay! - I really enjoy staying in local hotels and motels instead of chains and I was not disappointed at Heart of the Berkshires. My room was comfortable, clean, and sufficiently spacious for myself or for a couple. I like the wood floors and the wood paneling that gives the room some character. The location is great, only a few minutes away from the middle of Pittsfield, and easy to get to other parts of the Berkshires. It was very quiet and safe. And great value! Loved everything! Especially being able to check in by a code.

- 5507 (8/5): Goosd value for an overnight stop or a short stay in the Berkshires. - Was nice and clean, vintage 1960's room. Great location. Nice self check in/door code. Nice bedding and Tv. Lighting could have been better, door mat was in bad repair. Bathroom was clean, well stocked, shower a bit small for plus sized people.
- Conde (9/5): - Clean, comfortable and accommodating. Door stuck a little.
- Avijan (7/5): -
- Evelyn (3/5): - Es gab gar kein Personal. Alles über Email, was mich irritiert hat. Das Zimmer ist sehr düster.
- Catharina (6/5): Kan beter - Bed was voor ons goed. Kamer was schoon.
- Ofer (4/5): - Bathroom was in very bad shape and very small. The room was not clean and bad smell
- Conde (10/5): - Clean and friendly. Very peaceful after a long day at work.
- Ian (7/5): -
- Conde (10/5): - Clean and friendly staff. Good location.

- Diane (9/5): It was fine for our trip. - Location. Comfortable room. Owner always answered the phone. Rústic decor.it was fine. It had a refrigerator and microwave. Everything worked. It was fine. I
- anthony (10/5): Thumbs up. Would recommend - The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. It is conveniently located in a nice area . The staff was great, even going out of their way to UPS a cell phone we left behind in the room. Nothing to dislike
- Raul (9/5): Bien - Limpio, camas cómodas Baño muy pequeño
- Alicia (7/5): Nice place to stay - The room was big, smelled clean. Looks clean , Perfect for a night stay.
Has microwave ,minifridge The sheets were blue navy! 😳
The first time, I saw dark sheets in a hotel room. ..and I traveled a lot in and out USA.
- Frank (5/5): - Good location. No ice.
- Jon (5/5): Good value for the price in a good location - The cabin ambiance and large bed made the room special The bathroom was very tiny with the shower floor cracked/stained. In addition, the wifi kept logging off meaning I couldn't watch netflix since the wifi kept going in and out.
- Carol (10/5): - Second time this month. Dated but clean and very comfortable.
- Wesley (8/5): Very good -
- Barbara (6/5): Our cozy room at Heart of the Berkshires Motel and Tanglewood concert made for a memorable stay. - Room 5: We loved the campy / historic ambience--knotty pine walls, vintage decor, and moose-and-bear bedsheets. The refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker were welcome conveniences. The room was surprisingly quiet and blackout curtains were helpful for sleeping in. The shower stall needs updating, but it had good water pressure and ample hot water. Management was easily available by phone and provided helpful information about checking in. The motel is conveniently located and a nice backroads drive to Tanglewood. Room 5: The slated blinds in both windows are broken and falling apart--an easy and affordable fix. The wall clock is not working--probably needs a new battery. The microwave clock needs to be reset to the correct time. Several outlets on the power strip at the disk are not working.
- Michael (6/5): Decent, simple stay. - Room was modest but comfortable. Too few electrical outlets, too few wastebaskets. The access to the room was through a code sent remotely. The management relies on texting to communicate. No front desk.
- Carol (8/5): - We enjoyed one night and will actually be returning in two weeks. Room was acceptable. Clean with a comfortable bed. As expected, the unit was somewhat dated but was just fine for our visit.
- Moore (8/5): Very good -
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dianne (10/5): Will recommend to anyone and this is where I will stay from now on - I’m still here I think the GM Alex is beyond amazing very accommodating when I arrived on my first day I was in room 1 their was a wasp issue outside. He move my room immediately he was concerned about my family but most of all the baby.He said he would have somebody out and that’s exactly what he did. I love the place it has a cabin feel to it. I read some of the other reviews and yes things do need fixing the place is old but you can see that they are working on these things. What I love most is they have their own personal touch they shop local for their coffee and toiletries. That’s a personal touch I would take this any day over many of the hotels I stay in for travel. Also their is Google translate N/A
- Palmer (10/5): Overall, a very good place to stay definitely can’t beat the price - Very clean excellent price, friendly staff good location felt very safe there When you come into the door, the light switch didn’t turn on any lights
- Palmer (10/5): Nice and clean reminds of the old roadway motor ends with an updated feeling would stay again and recommend it to anyone - Great price very clean. Nice interior felt safe. Would recommend it to anybody and would stay again. Maintenance have been a little better had a burned out lightbulb and the entry switch for the light did not work but other than that, it was a great place
- Cafferky (5/5): This was a once and done overnight stay. - Breakfast was not included. The location was okay. Alex, the property manager, was very nice. The bedding and towels were nice and clean. The room overall was clean. The room definitely needed renovations. The shower was questionable (we didn't feel comfortable using the shower, so we opted to wait until we got home.), the inside wood type surface of the bathroom door was peeling off. One of the chairs had a big stain on the cushion (I didn't bother to look at the other chair).
This was a brief overnight stay, so we made it work.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Beth (8/5): Would stay again. Great for the price - The room smelled great and was clean. It was decorated enough to feel welcoming. Was good for the price. Have stayed before and will stay again. The shower is small and could use an update. Bathroom was small but otherwise clean.
- Linda (6/5): Would not stay again - It was convenient location The rooms were outdated and the TV we took off the wall and put on dresser cause it was literally at the ceiling. Was not told pet fee at booking and after check in was large pet fee we weren’t expecting. Light in room was not working and pulled up plug and wires were cut. Smoke detector has a bag over it. Bathroom wall in shower was small and old pink tiles with cracks everywhere. Roof leaks and water damage all over ceiling. Ants all over the room.
- Heaton (9/5): Was great ! - Very cute and cabin style! Great location to get to and from Onota Lake ! Easy no contact check in and out. Large yard with chairs and fire pit. Private and cute for a weekend getaway!
- Judith (10/5): Great place to stay for a reasonable rate. - The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was perfect for an overnight stay fairly close to my cousin's annual paella party
- Moore (7/5): Good -
- Christine (6/5): This place is bare bones but not bad. - The room was clean and bed was comfortable. No soap for bathing. Only a hand pump on the sink with liquid soap.
- Nancy (3/5): Poor - Very poorly maintained. Our room had a shower with chipped paint and a black shower mat you couldn’t tell if it was clean and felt mushy. The dark pine paneling in the room made a small room feel even smaller. The windows were left unlocked and I had to lock them myself. We dealt with the proprietor by text, and the only person we saw was the housekeeper who did not speak English. Definitely do not recommend staying here!
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lutzker (1/5): Bad -
- Philip (2/5): - I didn’t even get a room although it was prepaid.
- Robert (6/5): - We arrived at almost 5pm. The room wasn't ready. The place was old and in poor condition,
- Debra (2/5): Do not recommend. - Location was good for what I needed. Bed was springy. I could feel the springs. No one on site for check-in, and no one would answer the phone for over an hour. I had to contact Booking.com who contacted the property. The property then sent me a code to unlock my room that they had forgotten to communicate.
- Robert (6/5): I was happy to have a room close to my reunion venue, even though the price was higher that was offe - I was not aware of the option for breakfast. I did enjoy the coffee maker in the room. There was no one in the office to tell me about breakfast option or answer other questions. My main complaint was the extremely small bathroom and shower. The door scraped on the floor, maybe because the MDF flooring swelled up with the moisture inherent to a bathroom.
- Mark (8/5): Good price point if all you need is a bed and a decent bathroom - Extremely good value for what we spent. We really just needed a bed after attending a reunion The facility has obviously been refurbished with basics okay if all you need is a bed. The room was a bit rough around the edges and little comfort amenities like a cushy chair or two, and lighting kind of sub par. Two other rooms had smokers sitting out front and the smoke found its way into our room
- Oliver (4/5): Bad value for the high price. - Very basic room, very cheap and uncomfortable bed, faulty equipment. Given the high price it was poor value.
- Benjamin (9/5): Comfy, Cost-effective Stay in the Berkshires - Went with my pregnant wife who often complains about the comfort of hotel beds. She was ecstatic with how comfortable the bed was (I also enjoyed it, but I could probably get a good night’s sleep on a large, hard rock). The cost of the stay was superb and the Property Manager was friendly when we met him. Overall, would highly recommend. The shower was a bit small and the location is a little ways off from most of Pittsfield and the stuff therein, but these are really minor things if we’re being honest.
- April (5/5): Next time I’ll just go with the chain hotel down the road - Beautiful river behind the motel. Easy self check in. We chose this hotel because it was an inexpensive, pet friendly option, but after we arrived with our dog, were charged an extra $67.61 fee for two nights. When I expressed to the manager (when asked how everything was) that it felt dishonest to receive an extra charge when I believed we had already paid in full, he blamed booking.com and then me for having unreasonable expectations.
The first evening we were there, a very agitated couple showed up looking all over for “the landlord”. Our neighbor at the motel would open the door and stare at us whenever we went outside, and there was a person loudly singing and messing with a fire in the firepit out back for a couple hours. Overall it didn’t feel super safe, but there were cameras and motion lights everywhere.
The grass needed to be mowed. Bright outside lights, but no curtain on the door windows. You will want shower shoes to use the shower.
- Jeffrey (10/5): Exceptional - The old school feel and country vibe Not really anything. Everything was how it should be
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (4/5): do not pass go - the bed when checking in i was told over "blink doorbell" i was sent a text and e mail about room code and check in instructions.
no text recieved and checked email later. When parking was asked by a "slob" if everything was ok? i said everything is good and i am all set. meaning leave me alone go back to sitting with your homie. no toilet paper no washclothes and tv remote dont work. heat is a compact electric space heater lol and door was obviosly repaired and unsafe. but hey it had a door chain
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Quigg (10/5): Comfortable and safe. - This was a great value for a lovely, clean, and comfortable room. I appreciated the multiple door locks and the fact that it is right on the bus route. Oh and the coffee, that was Highly appreciated! I've stayed here 3 times now and will surely be back again soon. Thank you.
- Quigg (10/5): Cute, quaint, more than enough for my needs. - I love the self check in feature. Everything is clean and efficient. I've been here twice now and both times were very pleasant. Right on the bus route for daytime travel around town.
- Gang (9/5): Superb -
- Quigg (10/5): Cost + Value = Happy Customer - I loved the ease of check in and check out. The room was very clean, very basic but an excellent value for the expense. They provided k cups and a coffee maker, ample clothes storage if needed, and an Extremely comfortable bed. I will plan on coming here again. What I didn't like was by no means the fault of the motel. Pittsfield is simply very dark the streets are not very well lit and the buses do not run very late so being in a location that is a tad out of the way was a bit inconvenient at times but again that's not the fault of the motel, I put that blame on Pittsfield.
- Sarah (7/5): Solid, basic, great value - The staff, Lexi, and the owner were very attentive to any issues. Extremely polite and responsive. The place was very clean but dated, as described (no surprises). I brought our dog and it was as I expected. Great value for a dog owner. In winter, there is not much of a place to walk a dog onsite as snow piles are, as expected, everywhere. We had some overpartying neighbors one night, but they left the next AM or were asked to leave.
- Chuck (7/5): Good -
- Ryan (8/5): Very good -
- Ryan (8/5): Very good -
- Margaret (10/5): Comfy stay - Was great comfy quiet
- Kai (10/5): It’s a very cozy and relaxing room with nice views and friendly staff - Great room. Plenty of space and good overall location. Friendly staff and willing to work with you. Love it
- Brittney (10/5): Exceptional -
- Francois (8/5): - Very cute décor, not the most comfortable or fresh, but clean and easy self check in/out system (door has a code which is communicated in advance). Lots of food options short drive away.
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and quiet I like everything about property
- Mandy (7/5): Good -
