They state on their website they offer a hot breakfast but only offered cold items during our stay. Many people seemed disappointed.

- 167dahlias (2/5): Worst hotel yet!! - I keep saying this place is a joke.160 nights in hilton 35 nights in marriott while filming a tv show. The front desk guy was rude, arrogant dismissive and after 2 weeks working here needs to be fired. I was so insulted by him. I asked who the gm was. He said he didn't know and why should he know. He was so busy flirting with a lady taking off her shoes in the lobby he had no time for me a guest. I asked for a room with a tub as I hurt my knee. I got no tub. I asked for water he had none. Wow! This is going to corporate and on my show and in the news. Btw the rooms aren't ready even after 4 00 p.m. the rooms aren't clean. The hot water wasn't hot. What a disaster!

My best friend and i were there for a concert,having flown in from Canada, but had 3 nights booked so finding out after check in, that neither the pool or hot tub would be working during our stay was very disappointing. I would have booked a different hotel if i had known, because i paid a pretty high price for such a basic hotel...almost 1500 for 3 nights. Not impressed.

- BeachLifeYear-Round (8/5): Beware of Hidden Fees! - The Marriott Courtyard at Bensalem Pennsylvania meets the high and consistent standard I've enjoyed with this brand. The staff is friendly and responsive. The rooms are updated with a modern and smart layout that addresses all needs for a basic stay. A refrigerator, microwave, and coffee service are provided. The rooms are extremely clean except in the corners and baseboards where their vacuums don't reach. Suggest using an Oreck XL or equivalent once in a while! My only issue with my stay was the $9.95 parking fee per day, regardless if you have a car or not. This is an uncontrolled, open lot in suburbia, not center city. The fee is hidden and not disclosed prior to booking. The Marriott site makes the charge obscure in the follow-on confirmation. Also be warned of wifi and internet fees if not a Marriott Bonvoy member.

Cons: seemed short staffed (was over the Christmas holiday). minimal breakfast menu pool and hot tub were closed for service. While our towels, toilet paper, soaps needed attention, the staff did deliver prompt service when asked. When asked, they also provided extra bedding for the pullout couch. We booked a room with 2 Queens and pullout bed for our family. The extra space in the corner room was nice.

- 278yd (4/5): Avoid - junk fees - Hotel was fine, but they dishonestly hit you with a 10/day junk parking fee for parking in an open air suburban asphalt parking lot. And on the bill just write "fee" to hide what it is for. With other options in the area, I'd avoid a hotel that inflates what it charges while providing nothing for the charge.

- roman (6/5): - I have stayed at this hotel before and hate to leave a bad review as I do like it but this time I had a situation that I feel they could have handled better. The day after arrival I came to my room to find it had not been serviced, I did not pay it much mind and just called front desk to tell them and ask to have trash removed as I had some small boxes,they took them and I gave them a tip next day I arrived to my room at 7 pm, again the room had not been cleaned, again I called front dest, no apology or explanation just came to collect trash again and nothing else. Third day the came in and changed towels but did not make bed! I decided to check out to an airport hotel as I had early flight next day even though I had pre payed for another day. At check out I mention nicely all this to the young man there to let them know and he just looked at me like he could care less and said nothing, the manager who was close by did ask me what happened and she was shocked as she did see I had called and nothing was done. She was very nice and offered me points but honestly just the apology was what I not needed but appreciated.

I thought the restaurant would be a bit more than a lobby counter with small tables to sit at. Breakfast is not included, but we were told when it would be served, insinuating that it was included. - P6552IHjaimeb (10/5): Wonderful experience - My mom and stayed at the Courtyard in Bensalem last week when my dad had surgery next door at Rothman Institute. They were kind, understanding and very accommodating of our fluid timeline. The staff was all courteous, the cafe food was exceptional (and I’m a picky foodie!). The healthy breakfast options (never thought I’d find a breakfast bowl with kale on the menu!) and the dinner options just as good- with a full bar as well! The room was nice and clean. The bathroom door needed some adjusting but wasn’t a big issue. It was during a heatwave and the AC in the room was nice and cool. Opened my eyes to Marriot and will definitely seek one out in the future. But this one will hold a special spot because of the kindness they showed.

The rooms are disgustingly unsatisfactory. I don’t know why they were incapable of picking up the trash of whoever had previously stayed in my room. - sarabY7607VY (2/5): Beware of Additional Charges After Check-Out and Loud Construction - This hotel is severely lacking in customer service. Once provided with out check-out folio, the hotel added charges that the front desk agent specifically told us would not be added. The general manager, Michelle, was not helpful, would not honor the printed check-out folios that we received, and kept referring discussions that the front desk agent had with other people. How bizarre. The front desk agent seemed confused and kept referencing discussions that we did not have or were privy to. He clearly confused us with other guests. Although the hotel has video of our check-out (which would have cleared up any confusion), Michelle refused to review the tape. Avoid this hotel, as Michelle and her team could use additional customer service training. Their service is a poor reflection of the Marriott brand. *In addition, this hotel is under renovation. New artwork, furniture, etc. is everywhere and there is loud construction. There are plenty of other hotels in the area.

- Barb (10/5): Restful respite - This hotel is my weekend get away spot. Hotel has some beautiful scenery. It's quiet. Offers an excellent breakfast. Staff at the cafe are wonderful. Nice fridge and microwave is offered in the room to accommodate. Some construction was going on so it was noisy at times during Saturday day. Also, the room was very hot but I was able to adjust the room temperature . I'll be back.

- jacquelinemQ3591RR (10/5): Wedding weekend - We cannot express how pleased we were with the staff and accommodations at the Courtyard by Marriott Bensalem. We stayed there this Thursday, August 31 thru September 2 for our daughter's wedding. Everyone was so accommodating and helpful, particularly Yolanda. Our daughter reserved the meeting room for the bridal party to get hair and makeup done. We were very impressed that the room was set up and full length mirrors were provided. Yolanda, made sure that we had everything we needed for the morning of to run smoothly. We also want to acknowledge the shuttle driver, whose name we forgot to get, he was there Friday night at the venue and back at it first thing Saturday morning! Everything about our stay was incredible. We should also mention that there were several weddings booked there this past weekend, this never interfered with the attention to detail provided by the staff, from housekeeping to shuttle service. Well done Courtyard by Marriott Bensalem!

We've seen it have it's ups and downs but it has always been our "home away from home"! We've had to try other hotels in the area a few times but we always look forward to staying here. Under the management of Michelle Presley it seems like everyone who works here is happy to be a part of this "family". Terrance, Rashon, Rianna, Lauren, Kiana, Comfort, Brittany, Yolanda, Archie and everyone we interact with are always pleasant, willing to help and go above and beyond to make things right. The rooms are always very clean and if there ever is a rare problem, it is always resolved in the best way possible.

- hortensiac854 (10/5): Excellent Customer Service - This review is mainly regarding Mr. Rashaan who worked the front desk. This young man need a raise. His customer service skills are impeccable. I stayed at this hotel on Aug 19th to the 20th. We had a few issues with stains on the sheets and pillow cases on one of the beds. Rashaan was so attentive to our needs. He made sure that we had clean bedding. He made not 1, not 2, but 3 trips to ensure all was proper with our stay. I would like to point out, Rashaan was working 4 weddings that evening plus some very high profile customers as well as us regular people all by himself. He was the night crew. Through all the chaos, Rashaan maintained a professional demeanor. Thank Rashaan for all you did for us that evening. You are the BEST. I also have to shout out the Asst GM Nakeira for helping us. I appreciate all that you did for us. You’re AWESOME!!! Great Job Both Of You!!! My family and I will be back in November because of your attentive service towards excellence.

I’m addition I paid for a breakfast buffet but sight doesn’t offer that. Instead I had the same meal every morning. Options were really cheap for what was being paid.

- William (6/5): - Properties were beautiful. Room was satisfactory. A/C was not functioning properly. We had a conference room and while the catered food was good, we were not provided with an adequate amount of water throughout the day.

- FK_Wanderlust (10/5): Overall a great place!!! - If anyone has stayed in a Marriott before, you know what the experience is. This is nothing different. I stayed here for couple of days. Everyone at the front desk and at the cafe inside were very friendly. Since this was a business visit, I cannot tell you about the nearby attractions or anything though there are some restaurants in 10-15 mins walking distance. They do have a mini market and then a cafe/Starbucks that serves breakfast and lunch items. Room was very spacious with comfortable bed. Had all the usual amenities. Overall a good experience and would definitely stay again.
- Terra (10/5): - My family of 5 (3 kids) stayed here for one night. The staff was friendly, kind, helpful and easily approached. The facility was beautiful and clean. We loved the pool and hot tub as well as the Bistro area for food and drinks. The hotel was conveniently located near shops and restaurants. We would recommend to anyone and definitely stay again.
- lilnonna (10/5): Great Staff - I stayed at this Courtyard for a nearby event, and I can't say enough how nice every staff member was. Friendly, courteous, and quick to respond. The gym was great for a workout, and the pool area was spotless. Did not need anything from the bistro, so I can't comment on it. Room was clean and linens were great. I highly recommend.
- Loriboriellis1 (4/5): Just ok - Check in was good. The person working was helpful and nice. The Room was ok. There were no upgrades for Platinum members. The bistro was closed early morning (supposed to be open at 7:00 - no staff), but when opened by late morning - food was not good. Gym had bugs on the floor (ants).

- 854teressaj (10/5): Wedding Block- Amazing service!!! - We had our wedding block here and the entire staff at this hotel was amazing!! They made sure to go above and beyond accommodating my guests. Everything went perfect and the hotel was extremely clean. Paula at the front desk was amazing and will help you with anything you need!! So happy we picked this hotel for our 80 guests!

I have often, and, will continue to refer to this location, as one of my most favorite, “Home away from Home(s.)” Assistant General Manager, Nakeema Williams, supersedes expectation, with her unwavering, incomparable, and, consistent, commitment to excellence, in all areas of hospitality. Talia Quarles, Bistro Manager, is the epitome of excellence in her unwavering attentiveness, professionalism, and, superb presentation of meals. Additionally, she truly leads by example, in the execution of her responsibilities, in training, and, management. Finally, Archie, at the Bistro, is always a treat to encounter, with his welcoming, and, genuine concern to ensure that guests have a pleasurable experience. Nakira Williams, Sales Manager, never disappoints in her responsiveness, accommodating spirit. and, attention to detail. Michelle Pressley, General Manager, is a relatively new addition to this team of consummate professionals. However, she never fails to greet guests with the warmest welcomes. Paula; Front Desk Manager, Kia; Front Desk, and, Comfort; Bistro/ Front Desk, are excellent Ambassadors for the brand. They possess phenomenal customer relations skills, and, never fail to greet guests with the warmest of welcomes. There are also various members of the housekeeping staff, as well as, other staff members, who perform above, and, beyond, superseding all expectations. If you are looking for accommodations, in the NE Philadelphia/ Bucks County area, you would absolutely be remiss, in choosing any other location.
- Bruno2022Bruno (2/5): Marijuana Smell Throughout - Many of the rooms wreak of weed. You can even smell it in the hallways walking through. We spoke to management about it (several of us in our party smelled it in our own rooms and complained). They acknowledged the complaint but did not do anything to address it. This hotel either needs to have a policy that weed-smoking is allowed and let prospective customers know so that we know not to book there - or have a no-weed-smoking policy and ENFORCE it! The hotel was fine otherwise. Not being able to escape the marijuana smell ruined the entire stay for us.

- Halley (4/5): - Just a regular hotel. Clean but nothing special. The price was astronomical. Absolutely not worth over $300 a night. Especially considering there is no kitchen, no breakfast, and the room is average. Only stay here if you can get a reasonable price.

- Donna6517 (8/5): They work hard to make things right! - As my past reviews of this hotel have stated - we have been staying here ever since they first opened. It is our home away from home! We have had mixed experiences over the last few years and I know that some of the problems have to do with staff shortages. The people who we have encountered are working very hard to give us a good experience. Paula and Michelle have always gone out of their way to speak to us and reply to my e-mails. They have listened to my concerns and tried to make the appropriate changes. When we checked into the hotel this time, Corey was working at the front desk. He was new but trying to learn fast. We ended up with a nice quiet room on the top floor facing the woods (exactly what we asked for). Corey was very helpful and pleasant! When we were checking into our room (after 6 pm) we noticed that there was a very nice member of the housekeeping staff who was still working! I found out later that her name is Olga. She was running around trying to finish cleaning rooms because they have a shortage of housekeepers and even that late in the day, she kept smiling! The next morning Comfort was at the Bistro bright and early to make our coffee and she was very pleasant to talk to. Terrence was working at the front desk and was helpful and pleasant as well. I saw him out in the parking lot cleaning up trash also. We stay at this hotel because it is convenient but we also like the setting and the work ethic we see. It is in a business park but near lots of restaurants and stores. We go to visit family every month and continue to go back because we feel strongly that the staff is doing their best to make things comfortable. Will be heading back again in 3 weeks so I will post an update!

- Elizabeth (6/5): Great staff, otherwise mediocre - The front desk staff are very helpful and professional and wore masks. Very disappointed that during a pandemic, the guests are not required to wear masks. (Lobby was FULL of people not wearing masks.) The facility is basically clean, but the bathroom door was covered with dirty handprints all around the inside door handle. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Breakfast food was awful, BUT the staff in the bistro area were very hard-working and were very pleasant to deal with. Hotel was full of parents and kids on travel sports teams, so not very quiet.
