- Dawn (4/5): - I
- Robert (6/5): - The accommodation was fine clean and tidy with toiletries and free parking.Lovely location and value for money until we were told the kitchen was not operational for dining or breakfast. We reported a blocked sink which was never resolved
Then later that evening electric went off.We could not make tea charge phones and sat nav or shower.it was still off in the morning and place was deserted.no staff to support us.We had to let ourselves out. They were aware the night before re electic fault but nothing was done.
- Ann (4/5): - The hotel was virtually deserted. We didn’t see anyone else staying in the hotel or in the bar. The hotel was locked up before 9pm. No food available. Only two tea bags and a few sachets of coffee in the room. Window in the room wouldn’t open and the sink in the bathroom blocked.
- T (10/5): - Fairly central to surrounding shops & bars. Free parking. Very friendly & helpful. A large, spacious room with plenty of draws & hanging space. The Hotel as a whole was very clean.
- Robert (8/5): - Big car parking area, Sunday roasts good. Easy check in and private entrance for guests.
- Julie (10/5): Very welcoming host - We (Myself and my other half) enjoyed a one night stay last weekend.Ended up needing a really late check in, after the pub was closed. The manager was great, met us at the door and showed us straight to our room. The room was large with a four poster bed. The bed was really comfortable. I would stay there again, and would recomend it to friends
- Charlotte (6/5): - The room was ok, but rather dated. The bed was comfortable. We were in room 6, which had a bath, but the shower head had to be held as there was no bracket on the wall, and no shower curtain was provided. This meant that taking a shower was rather difficult, and the bathroom floor got very wet. The pub is very quiet and closed early on the two nights we were there.
- Leslie (6/5): - No breakfast available.
- steve (10/5): - Nice pub/ hotel in lovely village of Corbridge.
Dealt with one staff member from arrival who was acting as front of house for the accommodation, barman and waiter, very friendly and helpful in all his roles
Accommodation was excellent with comfy bed and large bath, ideal after a long day hiking.
Overall….would recommend 100%
- anthony (6/5): - clean and convient ..plenty of parking space. Ideal for just a good bedroom sole manager very helpfull
- Robert Nigel (8/5): - The daytime manager was very effective and the place seems better run since i last stayed there.
- teri (6/5): - Curtains not lined so sun came through very early , shower luke warm and ready to fall off the wall , bad drainage in sink took ages for water to drain away
- Gillian (8/5): - Property has been refurbished recently. Very clean and rooms were lovely. A shame no breakfast available for whatever reason but places to eat on the doorstep.
- Martin (10/5): - Excellent staff, easy parking and lovely surrounding areas
- Anthony (4/5): - No breakfast in the morning and no one to see or talk to about it or give room key to till after 10.30 then was told that the manager had cancelled breakfast £100 for the night no breakfast but breakfast is supposed to be included
Not a happy customer 😔
- Vaughan (10/5): - Very quiet and relaxing stay for New Years.
- Mary (8/5): - Good location, nice hotel, breakfast a little disappointing. Hotel had ran out of orange juice. Toast seemed like cheap thin sliced loaf? Was expecting a better quality of bread. However this would not stop me from staying again
- Jane (2/5): - This place does not warrant its given rating. It was shabby, completely lacking in any style and was decked out in tacky Xmas decorations mid November. The food was awful ( breakfast partly cold and very cheap nasty produce) . The food options in the restaurant were mainly of the fried / microwave variety and we therefore chose to dine elsewhere. The staff were willing and pleasant , but clearly untrained . The whole experience was very disappointing .
- David (10/5): - The staff were so friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast and comfy room. Well situated with ample parking.
- Clare (6/5): - We stayed at the wheatsheaf for one night, the wheatsheaf is clean and decorated to a standard id expect to see in pubs these days, the room was clean although a few things were a little dated but its an old building so was expected, id also like to see maybe some biscuits on the tea trays aswell. The downside of the room tho and from the layout of the upstairs think all the rooms will have this issue is the amount of lorries and traffic all night which stopped us from opening window as was warm during night. Breakfast was lovely and hot, and plenty choice. I paid 125 for the night which i think is a little pricey, id expect a little more for the money. All in all a nice place nice staff just a few things would make it better
- edward (10/5): Fully recommended - Clean friendly and great home cooked food.
Cosy pub and great staff.
Felt most welcomed on my 2 night business stay.
Have rebooked
