The location on the warfare is ideal for walking shopping, eating biking.Whatever you choose to do this is a great location to be in. And if you just prefer to stay in your room, that's great too. • Petra (8/5): Für einen Aufenthalt von 2 - 3 Nächten in Morro Bay eine Empfehlung! - Einfaches Hotel im “Motel”-Stil. Die Lage ist perfekt. Direkter Blick auf den Morro Rock und viele Restaurants und Geschäfte in Laufnähe. Kostenloser Parkplatz vor dem Hotel. Auch zum Morro Rock kann man einfach rüber laufen. Und entgegen anderer Bewertungen war der Inhaber sehr nett. Es ist ein altes Haus, daher sind die Zimmer tatsächlich klein (was ja auch auf der Webseite klar kommuniziert wird), aber man ist ja nur zum schlafen und duschen da. Ein bisschen hellhörig ist es bei lauten Zimmernachbarn auch - wen’s stört, einfach Ohrstöpsel benutzen :-) Alles war sauber und es gibt einen Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, Fön und Seife, Shampoo, Conditioner usw. Es gibt im Innenhof viele Sitzmöglichkeiten wo man sein Frühstück essen kann (die kostenlosen Zimtschnecken sind super lecker) oder abends noch ein Glas Wein trinken. An alle, die hier meckern, sollen sich mal die Preise anderer Hotels mit so einer Lage anschauen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten. Nichts

• Maureen (9/5): I had the most lovely, quiet time at Bayfront Inn. - The owner was charming and fun to speak with. The common areas of the property are nice with plenty of outdoor seating and a few areas to have a glass of wine in the evening watching the sunset or coffee in the morning. It’s a convenient location to shops and restaurants with ample parking. The only thing I did not like, which is not a big issue , is that there was not a convenient place for my dog to potty. Due to the location of the hotel, there is a patch of dirt down the road that is the only suitable place for dogs to potty.

• Lindsay (1/5): Get the $20 upgrade for terribly hard beds - no one avail for help - Location and parking They put my 6'2 husband and I (5'8) in a single room with a double sized bed (not 2 beds, a bed slightly bigger than a twin bed) in a tiny room slightly bigger than the bed. No one was available in office or by phone at 3:45 pm to address single bed until next day. Rooms assignments on sheet of paper, key in room. We saw queen and king sized beds in other rooms and found one without reservations (by checking res paper) and figured they could charge us the $20/night upgrade, total $40 for 2 adult queen bed at least, the following morning, as note said complete check in next day morning. The ice machine was locked (room key didn't open it) and I have a special diet for allergies and bring my blender for special shakes I have to have for meals. We were charged $188 for the empty room we slept in and told all other rooms (queen, king, single beds only) were going to cost that or more. The man in office "knocked off $100 for us" and we "only" had to pay an additional $88 just to get a bed for 2 adults. The room was not very nice, definitely not an "upgrade" but boy do I wish I would have paid the extra "$20/night"upgrade" and only losing out on $40 for a 2 adults sized bed. Total scam, and rooms are worse than Motel 6!! Not joking or exaggerating, either. I have pictures.

• Anita (5/5): Not worth the extra money - Location was the only perk to this hotel. Outside patio furniture was cute. The room was very small. Furniture is old and mix matched. Bed was horribly lumpy and uncomfortable. The walls were so thin you could head a baby crying and a dog barking throughout the night. No hair dryer. One of the lamps was broken. There were somebody else's leftovers still in the mini fridge.

Everything is wonderful the staff, the rooms, the fully stocked fridge, and stocked treats. This is honestly our favorite place to stay. Everything is perfect. No complaints.

When we arrived at 4:PM the manager was gone and left a photo copy of a note he must use often saying he was gone for the day. Did not answer his phone or text. We had to find another spot - which we did and was great! Now I have to hassle and get my $ back.

• mattallen1989 (2/5): Discriminated against and extorted, I had to call the cops - Please avoid this hotel for your own safety. During my stay, I wasn’t allowed back into my room at 8 a.m. because the owner didn’t recognize me. He then tried to extort more money from me over a pet fee I had already paid and refused to let me retrieve my belongings. Once he realized his mistake, he offered no apology and initially refused to refund my second night. Later, he walked past my window, leaned inside, and accused me of stealing a missing smoke alarm—something I had previously pointed out to him for safety reasons. He also made a discriminatory comment, saying, “I know you people.” At that point, I no longer felt safe and contacted Morro Bay PD to do a walkthrough and hand off the keys, as I didn’t trust the owner not to fabricate damages. I’m a 36-year-old local business owner from Cambria who was just doing a short staycation. If I hadn’t been from the area, I would have been stranded. This hotel appears to prey on guests unfamiliar with the area, and the lack of basic safety measures (like a working smoke alarm) is unacceptable. Don’t give this place your money — I truly wish someone had warned me first.
• Lea (6/5): - Wir waren nur für eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp in Morro. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr gut gelegen, direkt am Pier von Morro Bay. Hier kann man Otter beobachten (absolutes Highlight) Das Personal war super freundlich! Wir haben beim Check In einen Gutschein für kostenfreie Zimtschnecken aus dem Café nebenan erhalten. Die Zimtschnecken waren super lecker! Der einzige Minuspunkt war leider die Sauberkeit. Unser Badezimmer war leider sehr dreckig. Pommes auf dem Boden hinter der Tür und mehrere Haarbüschel in der Dusche, Waschbecken und am Föhn.

• deedra (10/5): A cozy, pet-friendly getaway in a perfect bayside location. - I recently stayed two nights at the Bayfront Inn in Morro Bay with my dog and really enjoyed it. This charming 1960s motel is simple and clean, with just the essentials—a comfortable bed, bathroom, and small fridge. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were wonderful, even giving my pup a toy. The location can’t be beat—right across from the bay with lovely views of the water and boats. Overall, it’s a great little spot for a relaxed, pet-friendly stay by the coast The bed was a bit firm for my taste, and the TV remote didn’t work at first, but the staff fixed it quickly

• Debbie (2/5): - There was no ice machine, no microwave. The owner was rude and disrespectful. Overall, the only good thing about the place was that moral Bay Rock was right across the street. And the surrounding businesses were wonderful.

• Astra (7/5): Affordable, great for a one night stay :) - I liked the location right in front of Morro Rock! I didn’t like the shower. It had no pressure.
