Martina (9/5): Wahnsinnig schöner Aufenthalt! - Einfach ein Traum! Bei so vielen Hotels stimmt die 5 Sterne Bewertung einfach nicht - bei diesem Hotel auf jeden Fall! Waren mit unserem Sohn da und haben sogar noch verlängert. Essen war wirklich erste Klasse. Zimmer neuwertig und wunderbar. Personal hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wirklich ein wunderbarer Urlaub. Mini Disco, Yoga am Strand, der Aqua Park…. Alles perfekt! Alles war wirklich super und die 5 Sterne verdient!

Thivas (10/5): Traumhaftes Hotel und perfekter Urlaub - Die Lage ist optimal. Nicht zu weit vom Flugahafen entfernt und dennoch ruhig und man kann vieles in kurzer Zeit erreichen. Der Check-In war außergewöhnlich gut und überaus freundlich. Die Anlage und die Zimmer sind trotz Saisonende sehr gepflegt und in einem guten Zustand. Wir hatten mit 2 Erw. und 2 Kindern nur Halbpension gebucht, was aber völlig ausreichend ist, wenn man tagsüber auch mal unterwegs ist. Die Auswahl und Qualität des Essens in den verschiedenen Restaurants war hervorragend und es gab sowohl wechselnd Themenbuffets als auch täglich griechische Gerichte. Die Snackbars an Strand und im Aquapark haben ebenfalls einiges zu bieten und auch zu fairen Preisen (wenn man nur HP hat). Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit , es wird Griechisch, Deutsch und Englisch gesprochen. Es git einen Hauptpool inkl. nicht übertriebenem Animationsprogramm und einen weiteren "ruhigen" Pool. Beide super. Der AquaPark ist mit mehren Rutschen und einem recht großen Kleinkindbereich und noch einem Kleinkindbecken und noch einem Spielplatz fantastisch für Kinder schon ab jungem Alter. An den Pools und am Aquapark waren immer ausreichen Liegen. Der Hoteleigene Starnd hat ebenfalls ausrechend Liegen und "Balibetten" die nur für Hotelgäste sind. Man bekommt gegen eine Kaution von 10 € Strandtücher/Pooltücher die beliebig oft gewechselt werden können. Unser Zimmer war (Superior Familienzimmen) war sehr geräumig. Zwei separate Zimmer je mit Fernseher und zusätzlichen Sitzgelegenheiten, dazwischen ein Bad und ein vernünftig großer Balkon mit Bistrotisch nd vier Stühlen. Die Betten und Kissen waren sehr bequem und es gab in einem der Zimmer Wasser, Wasserkocher, Teebeutel, Kaffe, Milch, Zucker, Gläser und Becher. Im Bad gab es alles mögliche an: Duschgels, Shampoo Conditioner, Handseife, Zahnbürsten, Rasierer, Fön, genügen warmes Wasser. Den Spa- und Fitnes bereich haben wir leider nicht genutzt, sah aber super aus. Es gab nichts auszusetzen.

Lisanne (9/5): Rundum gelungen. - Das Animationsteam war hervorragend. Sehr zuvorkommend, nicht aufdringlich und sehr engagiert mit Kindern und erwachsen. V.a. das Aqua Fitness war sehr anspruchsvoll und ein sehr gutes Tagesstart. Das Essen war reichhaltig. Obst und Salat waren immer frisch. Uns hat nur eine ausreichende Beschilderung der Allergene gefehlt. Personal insgesamt wirklich sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Liliana (1/5): - I am writing to formaly express my profound disappointment and serious concerns regarding incidents that occurred durring my recent stay. What began as a highly anticipated vacantion was severely disrupted by the disappearance of a watch from my room. It is important to clarify that the other watch in my room was my son's, not mine. My attepts to report this significant loss and discuss the matter with the management were met with a complete lack of concern and unwillingness to engage. This disregard for a guest's distress was deeply unsettling. Furthermore, I was appalled to discover that a full search of my room, including my personal belongings, was conducted in my absence. This constitutes a grave VIOLATION OF PRIVACY and is an unacceptable breach of trust. The cumulative effect of these events has completely overshadowed any positive aspects of my stay. The management's failure to address my concern over the past 8 days of my stay has only exacerbated my dissatisfaction.
Apostolos (10/5): Fantastic choice and very happy with everything! Totally recommend!! - Very clean, lots of activities for kids and a great beach nearby. The staff were really amazing ! Special thanks to Effie, Irina and Anna from reception/ management and of course to Andi, Soni, Thomas, Marios and Markella from the restaurant. The food was of great quality and variety. I think the only suggestion would be to minimise access to the pools during the evenings for safety purposes as lots of toddlers hang around during that time.

La plage est également très agréable, avec un joli bar. L’insonorisation des chambres laisse à désirer. Le snack de la plage ferme à 16h, ce qui est un peu tôt, surtout pour les enfants qui ont faim.

Milli (10/5): FANTASTIC STAY! WONDERFUL FOOD! OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE - Fantastic customer service. The manger really cares about the hotel, his staff and the customers experience. Food is excellent. We are vegan but the head chef made sure we were not left out. Lovely beach and great entertainment in the evenings. We Definitely recommend this hotel! More English families would have been great!

Jennifer (4/5): Disappointing - The small pool area and pool restaurant were really nice. The other pool had lots of construction taking place so we didn’t use it much. The rooms are clean but there was damp on the walls and quite a lot of ants in the room. The room we were in was in the middle of a staff area with a skip outside and lots of washing hanging everywhere, not what we expected. Some of the restaurants and facilities that were advertised as open were actually closed, with no prior warning. It became clear that much of the hotel was still under construction, which made us feel as though the hotel had opened prematurely and was not ready to accommodate guests to the standard expected.
Richard (7/5): Great Location & Resort Layout. Lots and lots of Germans - It is an attractive and nicely designed resort. The setup of the hotel site is excellent with separate nice pool areas for kids, adults and families, plus great access to a very nice beach. If you want to get out and about then the hotel is in an excellent position for catching the bus into both Chania and Rethymno or visiting Lake Kournas. The room was nicely laid out with 2 separate rooms and a balcony, but the bathroom was rather small. The majority of guests are German (not a problem in itself) and while I have no problem with our European neighbours the hotel caters understandably firstly to them. For example the food translations are often quite entertaining - 'Meat Salad with Bacon' and 'Green Pie' were fun examples. The menu in the beachfront restaurant wasn't even in english. Definitely not a biggie but the language barrier is a minor issue.

They upgraded my two friends and I with our children to rooms in a newer building so we could all be next to each other as we all had booked separately and different room types.The buffet breakfast and dinner was very good with a wide variety and fresh vegetables and fruits . The hotel was spotless. Rooms were quite small and weren’t sound proof and we could hear every sound at night or in the morning. The water park area was smelling like sewage..
Nathan (9/5): Relaxing and pleasant - The room was clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful especially Nikolaos, The food options were good for breakfast and dinner. The beach is only a short walk and is clean and beautiful. The aqua park is good for family’s and there is an option to relax by the quiet pool which is a great option for just relaxing. We also had no issue renting a car and the staff were helpful and the transaction was painless and quick. All inclusive limited drinks and not much food options between main meals. Some drinks from the post mix were horrible but were changed on request. Hard to book into other restaurants for a change. Some areas of the resort scruffy, not up to 5 star level. No waiter service by the pool. Our air con unit kept leaking water, they tried several times to fix but it still leaked, this was the end of our stat so in the end we just left. Entertainment was mixed, and annoying that it was all separate to the bar area.

Bar staff, the main swimming pool, needs some improvement , especially during the day The expresso cofee at main swimming pool has to be used more often , rather than automatic machine.. Emily (10/5): One sentence isn’t enough to convey our satisfaction with this resort, just fabulous. - The staff were super friendly and helpful and very accommodating to our requests and needs. Fabulous surprise to get upgraded to the suites and later on to a presidential suite which made our stay unforgettable especially for our very active 3 year old who had more space to play. The variety and quality of food were exceptional. The beach is literally across the road and is pristine, equipped with comfortable bali beds, attended by a lifeguard and immaculate toilets and showers. When you have half board you expect to have drinking water provided free of charge at dinner and not have to pay 4.50 euros every evening for water during our meal. On site toilets would be a welcome addition at the aqua park.

I think the water park should have one or two slides for children older than 10-12 years old. the slides are ok for kids under 12 years old.

Entertainment could be better especially for kids its always the same mini disco. Food options limited for gluten free or lactose free. Some areas of hotel had bad drainage smells. Kids playground needs a clean and revamp. Mini market could be better as very limited stock items and old fashioned shop.

Ciprian-ionut (10/5): Summer vibes - The room upgrade was really helpfull (each children had his/her own bed), so thank you for that! The Aqua Park was the main attraction for the kids, but I was also plsently surprised by the sunbeds availability there and on the beach. The resort attracts quality customers that respect the rules. Finally, the view from the beach worths every cent. Some of the employees in the restaurant were slow and we've waited sometimes too much because they were serving people that arrived after us.
Majd (7/5): Good - the food , drinks and the staff is the best things the rooms was very small , beach was very far from the hotel poor aqua park , food not served in it. the hotel location far from attractions for the kids.
Jean (8/5): Great stay and would come back if visiting Crete again - The water park is great, water a little bit cold but usually not so busy, so good to enjoy. Beach is very near and nice. Food is fine but more local speciality would be nice. Hotel manager is exceptional and friendly, know his job and care about what people say. Room are cleaned daily. Beach towel deposit: not taking card for deposit, so if you have no cash , you need to walk 15 minutes under the hot sun to the nearest cashpoint to pay a 3.95 euros fee to take some money. Smoking: how on earth can they still authorise people to smoke in the water park where there is children all around. The reception need a bit more training ( late check out request, restaurant booking).

Food on main restaurant not more than ok, really disappointing for a 5 star restaurant Hard or nearly impossible to get an appointment in the only nice restaurants, which are the a la carte ones. Beach is not directly connected to the hotel as main street is in between. Take care when choosing your room, respectively avoid the ones in the main building. The higher category is ok.

The kids liked the aqua park but it is smaller than we thought. Our kids of 9 and 7 years old were already asking for more. The rooms too small for families. The bathrooms so small and dark and part of it integrated to the bedroom.
George (8/5): Very comfortable overall, with excellent food and service. - Georgiopoulis Suites, as opposed to the Hotel Resort next door, was impressive. The staff on arrival were excellent, making the check-in experience seamless and explaining the all-inclusive package, which was comprehensive. The dining experience across all three daily meals is very good. Variety and quality is very high, with attentive staff on hand to provide drinks. The Junior suite is highly specified, with excellent lighting and well-maintained by the staff daily. Both pool areas are great, with very comfortable loungers for Suite guests. Drinks service to the loungers is easy to coordinate through a QR code. Guest wi-fi is everywhere and decent. The dedicated beach area, with bar and 'Bali' beach beds is great, easily accessed from the hotel via a dedicated tunnel under the road. The beds themselves are super comfortable. The water park at the rear is a great feature. This is shared with the Hotel Resort, so is a bit busier, but not significantly so. For a family of four, with two teenagers, the Junior suite is a tight squeeze. The only real negative was that the two single beds for our children were uncomfortable, as they are fold-up beds, with metal joining bars protruding through the thin mattresses. They are not hotel standard single beds, completely different to the main room double bed.
Christine (6/5): Decent - Room was very nice but could only be reached by stairs. Not comfortable if baby is sleeping in the a stroller. Nice pools We had a baby in the stroller and always had to wait for a staff member to help carry the stroller up and down the stairs. One night my 9 y old niece had to help carry because the receptionist did not even bother because he was busy. Some staff very kind and helpfull but not all of them.

Tal (9/5): Superb - The best hotel eveeeeer, as my kid said. We stayed at the suite section , not the resort, and we just loved this hotel. There is sooooooo much positive thing to say about this wonderful hotel. We booked the all inclusive and it was great. The rooms are luxurious, the buffet resturant were great, the food was tasty, fresh, diverse and plenty of everything.The pools were great, fun, relaxed, beautiful. The beach was a 5 min walk, a bit of a hassle but really not that much of a problem. There was a bar and restaurants there as well, and Bali beds, which felt like paradise. The water slides are a great addition for the kids, which they loved. The kids club was ok, but for younger kids. And the staff, wow!!!!! Always smiling, always kind, always helpful and I think that makes the difference from any other hotel, it made us feel welcomed and that our good experience matter. I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel was great, but the beach is a bit of a walk, not too bad, maybe 5 minutes.

Ashleigh (7/5): Average stay. Not a stand out but nothing negative really to say - The buffet had good breakfast and dinner options. The food was standard, some dinner options weren’t amazing, but kind of what you expect with a buffet all you can eat. The 3 pools were great, kid activities throughout the day was good too. Room size was spacious Staff were very friendly and accomodating Beach was nice Location was a bit isolated as there was nothing really close in walking distance like other restaurants or shops. To the airport it is a heavy taxi fee or a fair distance by bus, it took long to get there and roads are windy. The room was dated but everything was clean and functional. For what I paid to stay for 4 nights was not worth it, as iv stayed at much nicer hotels for less. For kids it is good and you don’t have to leave the hotel really for anything. Tours are far from this location, so consider what you want to do before staying here. On the map looking it doesn’t seem far to go to places but everything in Crete is spread out.

Loni (10/5): Excellent place. Hard to find an all inclusive hotel such great fresh and delicious food every day - We booked a week at Georgioupolis Resort for a week. Upon arrival, we were greeted and immediately upgraded to 2 suites for our extended family. The hotel was comfortable, clean and welcoming for all of us - not to mention gorgeous. The pools we had access to at each hotel (the suites where we stayed as well as the georgoupolis pool) were fun and full of entertainment (Zumba in the pool, cookie making for the kids, etc). Night time was packed with fun shows and entertainment for both kids and parents. But let’s not forget the food - never have I been to an all-inclusive (or half board) with such incredible food. It was actually exquisite and meal after meal each one of us was satiated and beyond satisfied. The manager Nicholas was gracious enough to give us a tour of the dining room and pool. His kindness and attention to detail was incredible. To end our near perfect trip, as we were waiting for our taxi to take us to the airport, we had an unfortunate accident where our 2 year old fell in the lobby and split her chin open (I know, just our luck!). Worried about our little one and our fast approaching departure time, we were selflessly offered a ride to a nearby doctor from one of the hotel staff, Zabia. Not only did she ease the baby’s tears with a toy, she waited for the doctor to be done fixing up our daughter’s chin and brought us back to the hotel. Did I tell you she was off the clock and did this on her own time? And we still made our flight! The customer service at this hotel is unbeatable. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend you do the same. really nothing bad to say but if i had to point something out it would be the small distance from the beach to the hotel. Really not too bad though.
Genady (9/5): We enjoyed our stay both Resort and Suites hotels- It was relaxing and so needed after Corona period - First I would recognize the people - all the staff trying to help and were kind. The room was big with a nice view of the mountains. A lot of food and drinks. We liked a lot the aquapark - the children enjoyed it a lot there. Nice beach and sunbeds. It's nice that you can eat at the beach restaurant and go back to the sea. On the second day of our stay, we were asked if we want to upgrade to the Suites hotel (another hotel a few meters of the Resort hotel) for free - so we agreed. The rooms there were more compact than in the resort. The restaurant is less crowded and nicer than in the resort. The staff is trying to help (the allergic thing and the fact we don't eat pork) and always found a solution. Definitely, it's a good place for vacation! p.s. pay attention, that for dinner there is a dress code My youngest boy is sensitive to all dairy food (he is allergic, but not life-threatening). So we tried to find food that is not containing dairy ingredients (we searched for VG/vegan-friendly sign). For the sake of honesty, we were asked if we needed a special diet menu at check-in and we decided that we will be ok without it - so I assume it should be chosen for allergic people.

Very outdated hotel, bathrooms are modern but furniture in the room pretty old. Staff nice, but tired. Drinks in the bar cheap, as for all inclusive, but paying for not worth it.
