- fireprincesse (2/5): Not worth it. - I stayed for 10 hours bugs everywhere! No vault not secured. Rooms are outdated. Old. Sleepers needed to be requested. Check in else where. I'll never come back to this hotel. And tell my friends not to come to this hotel. Not good experience. I'll remember the name of the hotel.
- Christian (8/5): Next time I'm in Cebu, like the Terminator... - Great except no hot water for shower or shaving. King size bed was comfy and lots of space in the room. Buffet breakfast was excellent especially with made to order eggs. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, you have to race them to the front door to open it yourself.

- rambutan02 (8/5): April Wedding Stay - I was a late arrival for a wedding in Cebu and stayed a night with friends in a family suite before getting my own room. The hotel was so helpful and even though our wedding party was taking up space with photos and bridal gowns parked in the corridor all the staff and even the other guests were good natured and happy to help. The hotel is clean and comfortable and featured in the wedding video with its quirky towers and architecture. The breakfast buffet provided was delicious and plentiful esp. the scrambled eggs cooked for you. The confusion of where I stayed and having to argue with the groom to let me pay my bill means Im not certain of the costs but I am sure it was very reasonable.

At breakfast we were entertained by performers The only disappointment was the deluxe room did not have a refrigerator in the room I assumed all deluxe rooms had a refrigerator because I booked two other deluxe rooms that are furnished with a refrigerator. - fabinsights (10/5): Great hotel experience and extraordinary service - I stayed in MJ Hotel and Suites with my friends to celebrate the Sinulog Festival. The staff gave a good lasting first impression. They gave great hotel perks too!😍 The employees helped us get transportation to places where we wanted to go to. They were very friendly and cheerful. I also noticed they were all young and good looking. They immediately helped me when I badly needed help for my flight dilemma. I was almost late for my flight. I thought I couldn't make it anymore, so I decided to reschedule it. To do that, I had to call the airlines. Unfortunately, there was no phone signal because of the Sinulog. Security was really tight at that time. I checked my booking again thru the Traveloka app and noticed the flight got delayed for an hour. So I rushed to the airport and made it 40mins early. Thanks to all the hardworking staff at the Hotel! 😊 Without them, I could have missed my flight back to Manila. I would definitely recommend this place to people! 👌
- yecartt (2/5): Old, run down hotel that needs to be fixed ASAP. Ants found in bed - Booked MJ Hotel & Suites for 5 nights and had to check out early a day due to an ant issue. Checking in process was quick, done by the lovely ladies at reception. The security also help assist bringing my heavy luggage to the lobby. The Superior King room was ok, below average. Room is run down and old, no refrigeration, old and loud AC. Bathroom is very VERY small with an old rusty tap that almost doesn’t work. I noticed small traces of ants in the bathroom but decided to leave it as there were only a few. Come the 3rd night I woke up at 4:00am due to ANTS IN MY BED. Immediately I packed up and called reception to ask if I could switch rooms due to a bug infestation, only to be told I need to wait til 6:30am to see IF they can accomodate. Absolute rubbish customer service. I immediately checked out at 4:30am. Although the employee did offer to call a taxi and he did bring my luggage down, his service ends there. I would highly recommend everyone to spend their money elsewhere.

- yhurio (6/5): Fast internet access and near to ayala mall cebu - Usually when we are at cebu city we usually prefer near to ayala mall and we like staying at this hotel its 10 mins walk to the mall and the internet connection is very good.The bed is comfy and you need to request personal ref if you need then breakfast is ok within the price of the hotel.Basically the hotel is ok for staying it and we like it...
- randym851 (8/5): Spacious Family Room - I booked the family room for 4 people. You can request for a bed set up which for us is 1 Kingsize bed and 2 single beds. The room is spacious and clean and has a refrigerator and a small kitchen. The master bedroom has the walk in closet and toilet. For a price of 4500 pesos per night, it is quite affordable. Although some furniture and fixtures need some replacement as it is already showing signs of wear due to age.

There was no bus tub, if you would like to have, you should select park lean hotel or Mandarin hotel nearby this hotel. You can go Ayala mall by 8 minute walk but you should across a little bit crowded load. 英会話学校の生徒として二週間滞在。バスタブないのとシャワーが固定は辛い。窓を開けると隣のマンションの生活が丸見えです。ホテルマンやタクシー呼んでくれるおじちゃんはほんと良い人たちです。レストランの夜メニューはお願いしても出来ないものもあります。でもまあおしなべて悪くないです。ジムとプールがないので、もし必要な場合はすぐ近くにパークレーンホテルがあるので、そちらへ。

- 768mitchellp (6/5): Cebu Hotel - Hotel is within walking distance from Ayala Mall, be careful when crossing 2 busy streets. Room has comfortable bed and pillows. Small kitchen and small sitting area was a nice touch. Room lighting is just ok. Bathroom needs serious upkeep, molds, small ants and few mosquitos noted, yikes! Hot water where are you? WiFi in the room is excellent! TV cable not working but it’s ok I’ll just watch my favorite YouTube videos. Breakfast was a heartbreaker, food choices needs some serious improvement! Overall, you are in the Philippines, you will find no short gestures of good old Filipino hospitality with a smile.
- nicog427 (2/5): Awful Smell persisted in the Room - We checked in on July 12, 2018 around 6 PM. The only room available was a family room with 4 beds. I asked if there were any other rooms available and they said no. We left the hotel to have dinner and went back around 9 PM. Upon returning to the room, there was a very bad smell in the room. It smelled like a rat had died there. We called maintenance and their solution was to spray air freshener and place an air freshener on the AC unit. The smell subsided somewhat. At 1 AM I woke up and the smell had returned. Not as noxious as the first time, but still strong and persistent. Being too tired, I just tried to sleep it off. We complained at 8 AM about the smell, and I asked for a refund. The manager, Malu, checked the room. She informed me the smell was not that bad, and if we had asked we would have been transferred. No compensation was given. I told her that the smell was very bad and still unacceptable. I also told her we were informed there were no rooms available. Upon checking the room we had noticed that the kitchenette sink had no P trap. No amount of spray would solve it. I do not recommend the hotel. The room was meant for a family, but the smell is not good for adults, much less kids. The way the staff handled the situation is also not acceptable.
- pju2015 (8/5): Good for the price - Spent for 3 days here because of work related trip. I would say that this is afforable to its price when looking for a place just to stay. It has fast wifi, clean bathroom, complimentary drinking water bottle and a comfortable bed. Its a plus that this place has free breakfast because there are no diners nearby or if it has, you have to walk for about more than 50-100m. The breakfast is delicious. No complaints during my stay. Its much more comfortable when eating your breakfast at the hotel rather than searching for one. Also, lots of taxi nearby when going to places. It is also near Ayala Mall. You can walk it for 3 mins.
- David (6/5): Ok 2.5 star hotel in Cebu. - The location is tough, a very busy tiny street. The only thing I liked was a short walk to Ayala Mall. It was a dangerous walk for a foreigner not familiar with how rough the roads can be with no sideways. We only stayed there a short time. The hotel also requires a cash deposit. I found out on this trip that this policy is fairly standard. It was not terrible but our next hotel in the area made the stay feel worse than it was.

- David (6/5): Not what I expected but not awful. - The location is tough. A very smelly side street. Tricky to get to. Walking distance to the mall. The room was smallish but it was clean. Didn't like the cash deposit required but they did refund it in full. They we're also flexible with us charging us 500p to stay a few extra hours to catch our ship.
- jaquinne (6/5): Okay - They don't have a pool, so this is just good if you have to go to other places for swimming. They have a fast internet but sad to say during our stay it went down on the second or third day so we are have to secure data to check our emails, messages and surf. The function room is not so soundproof. There was only few choices of food. The staff are friendly and can answer questions about the city. The room is spacious but they don't have cabinet for your clothes especially if you stay longer days. They have place to hang your clothes though.
- aldrinjohnp (8/5): Nice Hotel - Recommended for short staying tourist. We stayed here last January 2018 during Sinulog Festival. The staffs are friendly and knowledgeable enough. The hotel is walking distance to Ayala Mall. Will comeback maybe some other time.
- cyrildavelim (6/5): Average - If you don’t plan to a staycation and just wanted a reasonable place to leave your things while you shop or explore the rest of Cebu. This hotel is definitely for you. Even though I think there are much cheaper hostels/airbnb finds around that offers more for what you pay. The room is spacious. Like seriously spacious. Its a little bit old though but it was bigger than expected. The bathroom has basic amenities. Buffet breakfast was poor. Service was average. And one more thing. While I was staying there one afternoon. The electricity kept on turning off. Figured there was a problem with the room card key. Ordered room service and sisig was good. It wasn’t superb but it was good. No other amenities aside from rooms. No pool, gym etc. This hotel is for someone who has no other place to stay in the city. Although location wise it is very good. About 5min walk to ayala mall.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Avoid This Hotel - The hotel messed up by downgrading the room and then lying about it at check-in. All else went downhill after that. The staff deliberately kept information from us about what was happening, delayed responding, and refused to provide an opportunity to talk with hotel's regular manager to resolve things. We were told we either needed to accept what they had done to us. There was not even an "or else" because they refused to refund even a peso for their doings.
- Raj (10/5): Excellent hotel close to Ayala mall - I was surprised to find this hotel and it was positive beyond my expectations. For the price, this hotel provided a tremendously positive experience. I was upgraded to a large suite that was provided as the room that I had actually booked was not available. This suite came with a well equipped kitchen, living area with couches and a large bedroom with a closet. To say this suite was excellent and comfortable would be understating the obvious. The breakfast buffet typical Filipino breakfast - heavy on fried foods and rice. I eat light breakfast like eggs and omelettes which I did order from the a-la-carte menu. But the real benefit of this hotel is the location and the price. This location is walkable to the Ayala Center mall. I always stay close to Ayala Center in Cebu City as it provides plenty of dining options and excellent shopping within walking distance of the surrounding hotels. And it is an extremely safe area to walk in even late at night. I highly recommend this hotel.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Check inn horrible, Hotel ok - Horrible check inn. If you do not have a print out on Paper from the reservation, they let you wait half an hour at the reception, even if it is midnight
- MickY (8/5): Nice hotel only 5 minutes from the Ayala Mall - Nice hotel only 5 minutes walk from the Ayala Mall. Convenient location. Wifi in the room. Breakfast buffet options were limited. Rooms were decent size. But no cupboard to store clothes. They do have a clothes hanger area though. modem, however problem still persisted. I would stay here again because of the proximity to Ayala Mall. And had decent size rooms and cleanliness. Staff were friendly and helpful. I had a small problem with the wifi. After the 2nd day, only 2 of the 3 devices would connect to the wifi. I asked to reset but it didn't fix the problem.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good but needs some improvement - large room with not much of a view per se if you get a room on the side. Wifi was weak in the room but good in the lobby. Breakfast was buffet but mostly limited to local taste. Not much of a selection on the menu for ordering; wasn't happy with the food when served. Staff was very helpful and pleasant.
