• susannah (10/5): Wonderful stay over New Year - I stayed at StarLodge on New Year’s Eve 2025 and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived. I was able to check in early and was even offered a complimentary room upgrade to a ground-floor pool-access room, which was a lovely surprise. The room was comfortable, bright, and spacious. The hotel offers free shuttle transport to the airport and to locations within a five-minute radius in Jerudong, including Jerudong Beach, which was very convenient. The hotel also has a gym and swimming pool, as well as an on-site restaurant that provides room service. The lobby area is spacious with plenty of seating. A particularly thoughtful touch was being given a Happy New Year cookie on New Year’s Day — a small gesture that made the stay feel extra special. I would definitely return if I have the opportunity to visit Brunei again. I didn't dislike anything, one optional suggestion would be a few sun loungers for guests.

• Hairul Hasmi (7/5): - I like the hotel room is actually bigger than expected, the environment is also nice and the swimming pool is perfect for family and children. Actually the toilet I was impressed with the soundproofing, it was very comfortable. Some of the furniture is kinda worn and the toilet flush is not as smooth as I wanted it to be. I wish there were more tv channel and the older generation prefer brunei or malaysia channel. But its not that bad overall.

• natsuchika (10/5): - 市街地の出るには、55番のバスのみ。おそらく１時間に２本。（55番のバスが2台しか運航していないと思います）　遊園地が近い。徒歩圏内。　ジムがあったが、使用できない状態だったので、設備には不満の評価をした。このため、外をジョギングすることになってしまったが、エンパイヤホテルの海岸線はジョギングに最適。往復8Kmくらい。

• Bree (6/5): Pleasant - The airport pickup and drop off was very convenient, there was someone waiting with a sign when we came out of the airport. The breakfast was good value, you can pay for the buffet or order from the menu. We had dinner at the restaurant too, so it was convenient for our 1 night stay in between flights. The rooms were a good size and they were able to give us adjoining rooms. The room smelled mildewy, although not unusual for the climate. It was a simple hotel.
