• Naima (8/5): - J’ai séjourné dans cet hôtel pendant 3 nuits et j’ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour. La chambre était confortable, avec une literie très agréable qui permet de bien se reposer. J’ai aussi apprécié la présence d’une bouilloire dans la chambre, un petit détail toujours pratique. L’emplacement est excellent, très bien situé, tout en restant calme, ce qui est vraiment appréciable. Le départ à 12h est également un vrai plus, cela permet de profiter sans stress. Le personnel était très gentil, accueillant et toujours souriant, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Le seul petit bémol est l’absence de petit-déjeuner, qui aurait été un plus pour un séjour parfait. Mais dans l’ensemble, une très belle expérience que je recommande !

Good location off the beaten track in Soho made this a perfect stay. - The room was small for two people, but the staff allowed us to store our empty luggage with them which cleared up our space. There was a place to work which was great and the location offered so many options to walk to. The staff was wonderful and their candy treats are addictive.
• LindaandJohnH (10/5): Fabulous Location - We stayed here for two nights, 7 and 8 May. One of the reasons we booked here was the location. It’s handy for the theatres, eating out and shopping. Close to Tottenham Court Road tube station which is good for northern line connections to Euston. The team are fabulous, very welcoming and helpful. Our room looked out towards Soho square and was a good size, and very quiet. The sink and fridge with plates and crockery are very helpful. It was all very clean and the most comfortable bed with lovely bedding. We very much enjoyed staying here and would definitely return - the staff really make the difference.

They are, by far, the most hospitable team we have ever had the pleasure of staying with! Every single member of the front office was incredibly warm and truly made us feel at home. They never failed to greet us, always checked in on what we needed, and were exceptionally sweet to our daughter. Every evening, they went out of their way to ask about our daily tours and activities. We were so pleasantly surprised and grateful that our room was beautifully made up every single day—coming "home" to a clean space made us so happy. Their restaurant recommendations were always spot on, and we deeply appreciate their flexibility in granting us a late check-out for our late flight. Thank you for taking such amazing care of our family!
• G3560XDirenek (10/5): Thumbs up to Resident Soho - First trip to London with family. Resident Soho delivered a ‘wow’ experience for my daughter, my sister, and me. From the moment we entered the premises, the staff members were so accommodating and made us feel so welcome. Our room was clean, comfortable, and cozy. Our stay was further elevated by the fresh, stylish decor. Housekeeping staff did a great job. After each long day of sightseeing, we returned to a room that was tidy, restocked, and refreshed. All we had to do was unwind and relax. Resident Soho’s location is interesting. It is tucked away on Carlisle, a quiet side street that, in a few steps, opens up to a busy and bustling main road. Despite being so close to the main road, our room, on the third floor, was quiet and peaceful. We all slept soundly. We extend special thanks to front-desk associate Ayush with whom we had the most interaction and who made sure we were well taken care of, throughout our stay. We so appreciate Ayush and all of the other staff members at Resident Soho. If we ever visit London again, there’s no question where we’d stay: Resident Soho is the place to be!

I have to say that the front of house staff were all extremely professional and welcoming. The room was very clean, found it all to be at a good standard. Definitely would stay there again.
• jong32 (10/5): Great Location and Exceptional Service - The location of this hotel is perfect if you want to be in the heart of Soho but have a quiet hotel. We enjoyed the restaurants and nightlife and even saw a show. Everything is walking distance and there are subways everywhere of course. The service here was exceptional. Whenever we needed something, they went above and beyond. We will be back.

Located in Soho, we enjoyed being able to walk out the door and access endless selections of pubs, restaurants, venues for entertainment... the British Museum was a pleasant walk, and for further trips both the Central and Northern lines (as well as the Elizabeth Rail Line) were an easy walk. Being in the heart of Soho, we were suprised at how quiet and relaxed the hotel was. While there is no in-hotel food service we had easy walks to any meals we desired. We did not use the room service options for wine/snacks, given the many places right outside the door, but it seemed very convenient and had a good selection of snacks and drinks. Our room was comfortable for our 6 night stay - we'll be back here for sure.
• I8592FFcharlesn (10/5): A great hotel in a great part of London - I recently did an extended vacation to Europe, starting with a transatlantic cruise and ending in Edinburgh; however, prior to Edinburgh, I spent a week in London's SoHo area and stayed at The Resident Soho. The hotel is in a great part of London, with many walkable sites nearby - smack dab in the middle of the theater district, and near many great restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is at the end of a relatively quiet street in the bustling area. Check in was a pleasant experience, as was every interaction I had with the staff. All were very friendly and helpful. The room was well maintained and modern, and included a small kitchenette which was extremely useful during my week there. (Tip: If you go, check out the M&S Food Hall on Oxford Street. I visited it just about every day and kept my mini-fridge stocked.) There was the aforementioned mini-fridge, a kettle, coffee maker, purified water dispenser, flatware, plates, glasses, etc. The bath had great water pressure and the provided towel warmer was a nice addition. The room was advertised as "soundproofed," and it was truth in advertising for a change. Although there was a lot of foot traffic in the area, and cars nearby, the room was an oasis of quiet. Furnishings were new and clean, and the carpeting (particularly the hallway) appeared to have been recently replaced. Overall, it was a great stay. Thanks to the front desk staff and housekeeping for doing a great job. I hope to return if I make it back to London.

Je pense que nous étions dans une chambre pour handicapés car la douche était sans aucune protection, rideau ou cloison de verre. Nous étions 3 , imaginez la piscine!!! Et pas de possibilité d’ouvrir une fenêtre!

The hotel is in a perfect location, right in the heart of Soho, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and major attractions. The room was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable. What really stood out was the hospitality—the staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Despite being in a busy area, the hotel felt peaceful and relaxing. • scrumpy77 (2/5): Loud drinking in street outside day and night and so much LIGHT AVOID - Booked this to see whether an airbnb or hotel was better Excifed after seeing so many great reviews. Well , maybe they had rose tinted glasses on or liked the fact it's at the end of a cul de sac packed with loud people drinking on the street all day and late into night. I couldnt even get past them in my wheelchair very loud and intimidating.. Read that you can't hear it inside so got our key cards and excited to see these amazing quiet rooms I read about . Had requested a quiet room and said I have ms, noise sensitive and light sensitive so knew such a positively reviewed hotel would help me with that. Opened the door and straight away outside noise hit me. They hadn't bothered reading my request and had given me a front room . The staff member taking us to room didn't care and I burst into tears. Prolonged Noise paralyses me and even my bose qc headphones and loops together didn't help.. The blinds let in so much light they needn't of bothered with them.. The luxurious room didn't exsist. Guys not even as good as a premier inn. Least as premier inns the blinds are blackout and it is soundproof. I know why it's so well reviewed as when I checked out ( thank God only 1 night as didn't sleep ) and they asked if I slept well and I again said my issues and disappointment they had given a noise sensitive disabled person a front room they immediately offered a 35% refund. Um 100% when I didn't sleep . I think this makes people write good reviews. Well I tell the truth. So if light or drunken ppl in street making loud noises and that wasn't the weekend PLEASE BOOK ELSEWHERE it's truly awful. A tiny refund when it ruined my trip isn't ok. • amirp958 (10/5): A Perfect Oasis in the Heart of Soho – Exceptional Service! - My wife and I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel and we couldn't be happier with our choice. We stayed in a King room, which was beautiful, surprisingly spacious for London standards, and exceptionally clean. The housekeeping team does a fantastic job – the entire hotel felt fresh and well-maintained throughout our stay. Being in the heart of Soho, there is a slight level of city noise, but that is to be expected in such a vibrant and central location. It’s a small price to pay for being steps away from everything. The level of customer service here is truly exceptional. The front desk team went above and beyond, assisting us with local logistics and phone calls to ensure our trip was perfectly sorted. Their kindness made a huge difference. If you’re looking for a clean, professional, and perfectly located stay in London, this is it. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

• malipaz (10/5): Great hotel very recommended! - Me and my husband stayed in The resident hotel Soho for 6 nights, and it was great!! The hotel is located in the centre of London, in Soho, 1 minute walk to the underground, great bars, Tesco, soho square, and of course Oxford street! Our room was large and had all we wanted, the crew was great and helped us with every request we had, Special thanks to Bettina the manager !! We will come back again!

The bathroom was spacious and the walk in shower had good pressure! The small kitchen with fridge, microwave and filter tap was an added bonus to go alongside the usual kettle and coffee machine. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on the food. We stayed a short walk away from our evening venue on Oxford Street, so very convenient.

Accommodations were quite comfortable. Staff excellent. Evening wine in the lobby a plus! Would definitely recommend.

The single room is extremely small and is on level 0. The bed overlooks the street, which is noisy from early morning. Street lighting disturbs sleep. The price of the hotel does not reflect the quality. The service was confusing and slow.

• MinicoopersLiverpool (8/5): Good but few annoyances - A great spot, right in the centre of pulsating Soho. We had a superior room. Bit tight on space but a big comfy bed. Sells itself having a kitchen. In reality, there is a microwave, sink and fridge. So don't plan on cooking too much. This did not bother us as we ate out each of our three nights. Few issues. We asked for face cloths. They were delivered but never replaced. Our extractor fan in the bathroom was not working so we reported but it never got fixed. Milk was not replaced for our coffee maker. Yes, all small annoyances but not what you would expect from a top-rated hotel. Staff were friendly and polite. My one tip would be for the management to give a sweep of the pavement area outside the hotel. Each day, there were plastic bottles and rubbish. You may expect this in the area - and it is a bit of a wind trap - but not greeting you on leaving the revolving door.

• 815sumayas (10/5): Exceptional Experience - I don’t know where to begin, but let me start but saying how exceptional the team at SoHo Resident’s are! In particular, Ayush, Nishan, John and Linda. No request was too much for them, they were incredibly warm and welcoming and helped us with all our needs. They made our stay seamless and feel effortless. I can’t recommend this establishments enough! Amazing team!

• PTCanuck (10/5): A relaxing stay in an excellent location. - We have been staying in The Resident hotels since they began operation as Base2Stay in 2005. They've been through two renamings (and maybe changes of management), but have always been consistently very good. During our recent stay, the Soho hotel kept to the same high standard, right from the welcome we received on arrival to the cheery goodbye at the end. A welcome addition to the amenities was the happy hour in the evening, with wines and snacks in the comfortable foyer. We particularly enjoyed the friendly reception and attention from Ayush and the other front desk staff. Our spacious room was quiet, cosy, and kept in excellent order by the housekeeping staff. The silence, blackout blinds and very comfortable bed gave us the most restful of nights. The bathroom was also a good size, with an efficient shower over the bathtub. Our only quibble was inadequate lighting in the bathroom. As usual, the mini kitchen came in handy for breakfasts and the nights where we didn't feel like finding a restaurant. Five stars to The Resident Soho for a relaxing stay in an excellent location.

• Groover808 (10/5): Recommend, would stay again! - Very central location in Soho but quiet cul de sac, just off of Soho square. You're able to get to so many places in within 10 minutes walking such as Covent Garden, Seven Dials, 2 Dishoom locations, Carnaby, shopping, and restaurants. Tesco Express for any groceries/quick food steps away. We told them it was our wedding anniversary and greeted with champagne, card, and balloons, what a nice touch! The room was compact but had everything we needed and kitchenette with fridge (I need my cold water) was such a plus. Housekeeping everyday was great and all the staff was super friendly. For a super delicious and close english fry up, Bar Bruno is open early (4-5 AM) around the corner and we got one of their breakfasts to share on 2 mornings for takeout and ate in the room. Definitely recommend Resident Soho for your London stay!!

• kaY5804TP (10/5): You can't go wrong - This was an amazing location with it's proximity to West End. This trip was to catch as many shows as possible. With Leicester Square being so nearby we were able to score some great deals and catch more shows then we had thought. There are also multiple options for food nearby, too, as addition to great shops and a short walk to the British Museum. An overall great location! When it came to hotel itself the staff was always attentive and helpful. Everyone was kind and respectful but a shout-out to Rama for going the extra mile to help us sort out having our bags transported to the airport. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to all our friends back home and we, also, hope to be back again soon!

Very clean and in a perfect location for London theatre and shopping. A lovely surprise gesture in our room for my daughter's birthday was much appreciated! We will be back!

• JoGo545 (10/5): A Return to The Resident - I just came back from a 7-night stay at the Resident Soho London. This is my third stay at this hotel. I choose it because the location is the best... close to the West End, major museums (The British Museum, National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery,) Chinatown, Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Street and two Tube Stations. The staff is professional and kind. The nightly gratis wine hour is a plus. I encourage becoming a member of the The Resident group as there are great perks. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. If you are booking a room with a king bed, go for the superior king. The standard king rooms are very small. There is not an in-house restaurant, but the rooms have small kitchenettes with mini frig, sink, dishes, cups, and are equipped with Nespresso coffee machines, coffee pods, and milk, as well as tea kettles. Tesca market is nearby. We always opt to have a light breakfast in the room before setting off for a day of wonderful London!
