- camilla.fs (10/5): Cozy stay! - We had a wonderful stay at the Fairmont Mountain Bungalow in Fairmont Hot Springs. The place is very cozy and rustic, which makes it perfect for relaxing and disconnecting for a few days. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere is peaceful and charming. It’s a great spot to enjoy nature and unwind. We would definitely stay here again!
- Kirby (8/5): - The bed was extremely comfortable, and the cabins were clean and well maintained. Having to change Cabins twice, but no big deal.
- Jason (6/5): -
- Francis (7/5): It’s a pleasant stay! - Privacy and peaceful Smell of cigar inside the bungalow
- Lincon (10/5): -
- Kayla (3/5): Spiders - The staff was friendly and nice. SPIDERS everywhere, seemed like maybe it hasn’t been stayed in for awhile as there where cobwebs and spiders in the shower and all over the kitchenette.
- Gwendalin (6/5): - Beautiful area, cute cabins No heat in the cabin. Was cold tho whole stay
- Andrew (9/5): - Good Value for money, easy going staff, many property upgrades ongoing.
- Helen (8/5): Great cabin, just bad luck. - Retro cabin, with great updated bathrooms and appliances. Beds were comfortable. Great Thai restaurant Bad luck, there was a scheduled power shut down, we were not told about.
- Cheryl (9/5): - Very comfortable and cozy Couple of the doors on the furniture needed repairs. Wouldn't close
- Sithara (9/5): - Ambience and kitchen
- Rachel (8/5): - Nice and rustic cabin, lots of space for the whole family and pets. Insulation is not great but nice gas fire-place that kept us warm.

- Lori (9/5): Nice cozy place - We have been here before and just love it .. quiet nice cabins real wood burning fireplace is a bonus.. Clean and cozy We didn't have any complaints
- Mark (10/5): - Theresa was accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The room was super cozy, clean, and functional! Very private. The wood fire place was a perfect way to relax on a cool fall night and thebretro frindge was classic. The hotsprings at Fairmont were a 2 minute drive and delightful!
- Layna (7/5): Staff was amazing! With a few tweaks, it would have been perfect (more comfortable). - Location Cabins are cold; baseboard heat in main area not working.
Hot tub was barely warm.
- Maria (10/5): - Unique and cozy bungalows. They had a boil water advisory at the time but offered us bottled water. The beds could be updated but everything else was newly renovated. Would definitely stay there again!
- judith (6/5): - Cottage looked like it would fall over in a good wind. Toilet lid came off. They emptied the pool ! Bed was uncomfortable, rolled to the middle. Lots of pots and pans supplied but nothing to cook on except a barbecue. Bedroom door could not close and no closet. It was definitely “ quaint”
- Ken (8/5): -
- Frank n Vicky (10/5): - Great location. Quiet relaxing cute little cabins nice place to unwind
- Cheryl (10/5): The Fairmont Mountainside Bungalows are our favourite destination offering tranquility, hospitality and so much fun. - We love everything about the property and the owners. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom beautiful bungalow for no additional charge.
We absolutely love the Suttima Thai restaurant on site adjacent to the amazing pool and hot tub. There is nothing we didn’t like.
- David (10/5): - After a warm welcome a short drive to a delightful cottage that was a mix of classic cottage decor and modern conveniences. Can’t wait to visit again!
- William (10/5): - The cabin was super clean, and the operators and staff were very accommodating.
- Leslie (10/5): - Amazing!!!
- James (10/5): - Cute and quiet!
- Jay (10/5): Always a treat to stay at the bungalows - Every thing!! I stay here regularly
- Douglas (8/5): - Cabin was clean, had the basic for preparing food and comfortable. It was fine for a single person but a couple might find it too compact. The bed was set against the wall without a table and there wasn’t much room in the bathroom. Also, the thermostat didn’t change the temperature, but maybe wasn’t set up for cold conditions yet. The pool and hot tub were close, but the latter needed cleaning as there was a lot of sediment on the bottom. The Thai restaurant served nice dishes and if you wanted alcohol beverages at the patio tables there you could bring your own as they weren’t licensed. Just happened that that was their last night on September 29. Overall a nice place to stay for a few nights.
- Fidel (10/5): - Excellent service
- Eva (2/5): - The cold water in the hot tub, and no on e
- Sonialea (7/5): Studio is not a one bedroom - The location was surrounded by nature. You could hear soft traffic noise from highway nearby when sitting outside on balcony but not inside cabin. The pool and hot tub were nice. At check-in, we were allocated a studio cabin, which was not what we booked. This was disappointing as the studio cabin did not provide the level of amenities (kitchen/oven) that we were expecting as per photos. It's particularly disappointing, as in anticipation we had already purchased groceries to cook during our stay.
The lack of anticipated amenities would not have made for a comfortable stay.
As such, I queried the cabin assigned and lack of amenities as the "charming 1-bedroom cabin" we had booked and paid for was not what we had been assigned. In fact, it was the studio cabin, which did not include full kitchen amenities.
To resolve the issue, the manager gave me a choice of a refund or a move to a two bedroom cabin which had kitchen facilities.
We accepted the move as it was late in the afternoon, and we had arrived with bags of fresh groceries, which included perishables.
This interaction left us disappointed as there was no apology, and the allocation of a studio was, in our view, dishonest.
We did accept the offer to move to the 2-bedroom cabin, but only after we confirmed it had the self-catering facilities we required.
Our stay did end up being the relaxed and comfortable stay we had planned, but sadly, only after we questioned the initial allocation that did not meet expectations.
The property is rustic and in need of some TLC but we ended up enjoying our stay.
- Darren (6/5): - Price per night too high.
- gloria (10/5): - N/A
- Kris (8/5): - We had a great few nights at this property cabins are rustic outside, but renovated inside a bit close to the highway so traffic noise in certain times of the day evening is present.
There is a Thai restaurant on the property open Wednesday till Sunday closed on Monday Tuesday
- Judy (10/5): - Friendly clean comfortable
Cozy

- Karen (9/5): Such a cute place. So homey. I'll stay he when traveling this way again! -
- Alla (10/5): - The weather was amazing, very friendly staff, nice nature around, 2 min drive ti hot springs
- Ellen (10/5): - Yes
- Laurie (8/5): - We enjoyed the privacy of the bungalows set in the woods off the highway. A group of elk were munching just off the property as we entered. Embracing the beauty and access to pool, restaurants, and the convenience of a clean bed and safe space helped melt into nature and peace. Thanks!!
- Karra-Leigh (10/5): - Beautiful place to stay♥️
- Douglas (6/5): - We stayed here 3 nights and found that it was reasonably clean but extremely dated. There was no room in tge bathroom dry haur and the shower whole warm was so low that I couldn't rinse my hair withiut bending down.During our stay houskeeping did not come to our room once.At over $200. per night, that should be a given..Resort has a ton of potential.
- Max (8/5): - I just stayed one night for a quick stopover. A decent place. Looks like it could be fun for children because of the pool and play area.
- Kurt (8/5): - Loved the peacefulness, service was very friendly, loved having a hot tub and pool so we didn’t have to go to the hot springs if we didn’t want to … the biggest problem was the bed! Very uncomfortable, sloped to the middle , time to change the mattress
Definitely recommend if you need a nice mental get away!!!
- Kellee (10/5): - Clean quiet
- Daryl (10/5): - Nice rustic cabins great pool and hot tub
- Scott (10/5): -
- Rita (10/5): - Cute little bungalows, nice little town
- Tom (10/5): -
- Alan (8/5): - Comfortable one bedroom cabin with basics. Deck with BBQ convenient for autumn night supper.
- Natalia (10/5): -
- Ceri (8/5): - Pool & hottub. Hottub, nice and warm, but no real jets. Beautiful atmosphere, relaxed. Cute little cabin with toaster, kettle, microwave, showers, and TV. front deck with a bbq & umbrella to hang outside.
- itravelhike (10/5): Excellent facilities - Cabins were clean and well equipped. Check in was fast, informative and pleasant. Restaurant had great food.
- Greg (10/5): - What a wonderful place! Felt like I was staying at a mini-“my house”. The owner was beyond accommodating. Will definitely stay again in my next trip that way!
- Jim (10/5): - Great place! Spotty wifi was the only issue.
- Mathew (8/5): - Room had a strong musty smell. Left the windows open for two days but was still there. Some of the kitchen towels were stained. Otherwise the place was pretty decent. But for the price it was small and musty and had no storage at all.
- Robert (8/5): - Very rustic but charming. The cabins are quite close together .Limited kitchen supplies.(No baking dishes)
The pool was great and so was the hot tub
- Meghan (8/5): - Nice bungalow. Very simple but clean. And met our needs. Pet friendly for a fee. Would stay again.
- Sheri (8/5): - Loved the little veranda on the front. Very quaint, cute and quite!
- Meghan (8/5): - Lovely little spot. Very simple rooms but clean and had eveything we needed. Would definitely stay again. Pet friendly was a huge bonus
- Ryan (6/5): - The cabin we were assigned was "rustic" and upon arrival had not been cleaned. Although staff promptly cleaned the room, there was no offer of restitution for the inconvenience and waiting time.
- Sandra (8/5): - Amazing area and family friendly. Very authentic and rustic!
- Goska (10/5): Quiet and relaxing - Cute older cabins, clean and renovated , nicely spaced in park-like surroundings. We were upgraded to a cabin with full kitchen, fireplace, 2 bdrms, covered porch and BBQ. Property has a swimming pool and a hot tub. Very nice owner and staff. We extended our stay for one day so we were there for 7 nights and we are planning to come back. We were ok with everything.
- cyenthia (10/5): - The bed were so comfortable, the pool and hot tub was a nice bonus the managers were very helpful.
- Kelly (10/5): - If you have not visited here before…. You’re missing out. This place is stunning. Every direction you look is an amazing view.
The owners are so warm and welcoming. Going above and beyond to create a memorable experience. The Sunrise, the Sunset, the blanket of stars at night.
Don’t miss this life experience.
It will bring you back again and again and again.
- Amy (6/5): Perhaps the newer cabins are better but the older cabin we stayed in needs work. - Great location and interesting history. We weren’t made aware that the tap water is under a boil ban. There was a little sign in the kitchen that we might have missed and no one mentioned it at check in. Unfortunately, whoever had the cabin before us let their very hairy dog all over the furniture. The fabric chair in the living area was coated in fur and we discovered by accident that the covers on both beds were full of fur. The sheets had been changed and were fresh but the blanket for warmth had been put back on the bed absolutely covered in fur.
- Manpreet (10/5): - Overall experience is awesome
- Corinne (6/5): - We got in very late and only stayed one night so couldn't check out the pool or hot tub but they appeared open. The staff was friendly but the Bungalows need a bit of TLC. They have a nice family vibe but definitely not the place for a romantic get-a-away. Felt like staying at grandmas house. We thought it was a bit over priced for what it was. Our main concern is that you need to boil the water there (not drinkable) which we didn't know about until we got to our room and read the sign. We were at the end of our trip at this point and didn't have much water left so it was inconvenient to have to boil water to drink. The hot springs are super close but honestly not our favourite. It doesn't have a cold plunge like Radium Hot Springs.
- Vic (8/5): - Pet friendly, pool and very cute rustic themed cabin. Very homey.
- Darren (6/5): - Tiny house was quaint, but no AC. Bed and building was not level. Poor pillows and heavy road noise during the night.
- Alison (10/5): Amazing do it - Privacy, amenities, quiet, and nature! Nothing I loved it
- Bryan (8/5): - We were looking for a rustic getaway and found it, the cabins are old and quirky, it was exactly what we were looking for, the only criticism is that the repairs that were performed are rushed and could have been performed with a little more quality, a few of the deck boards are close to being rotten through, other than that the place was clean and quiet.
- Maria Jesusa (8/5): - Cabin clean
- Kathy (10/5): - These bungalows are so cute and homey and are in a lovely area. Our bungalow was a studio and didnt not have AC but it cooled down at night with the windows open. Friendly and accommodating staff. We enjoyed the on site pool and the hot tub. Definitely will be back. Thank you
- Stine (10/5): - My second time here. My kids loved it and we spent most of the day in the pool. Easy to get to grocery shopping and close to Invermere.
- Jeremy (8/5): - Nice little cabins. They are suffering some wear and tear, primarilly the rooves. I had to use a flshlight to see the microwave pannel and the toilet seat was loose, otherwise, it's a nice place to stay. The bathroom was nicely updated. The onsite restaurant was very good but pretty pricey.
- Festo (10/5): - Clean and comfy
- Kelly (10/5): Girls Trip - Fun few days away for my besties birthday. Had stayed here previously with my husband and had a great time so didn’t hesitate to rebook for another visit! Was given an upgrade so stayed in the big three bedroom and loved the extra space! We loved the rustic cabin, the quiet wilderness atmosphere and of course the pool and hot tub were a bonus to the trip! Will definitely be back again!
- Linda (8/5): Looks are misleading - The website does not tell a complete story. There are some cute blue cottages, but we were housed in an old red cabin. Broken window panel covered with cardboard, cabin foundation in disrepair, furniture looks to be purchased at garage sales, pool gross. In general, property is in real need of upgrades, and to the older cabins.
- Allison (9/5): -
- Verified traveler (6/5): Cozy cabins with a great location - The Fairmont Bungalows was the perfect location for our "glamping" weekend. The bacholer cabin was updated with a new bathroom and the kitchette provided the basic neccesities to cook all of our meals. We loved sitting on the deck which also had a bbbq. In the cabin Tv & Wifi were available however there is no AC in the bachelor cabins we found out when we arrived. The property also had a pool which was great to cool off in. We will stay here again however request a one bedroom cabin which have AC or come in cooler months.
- Danika (8/5): - Super cute cabins, staff was helpful and friendly. Pool area was clean. We stayed in the 3 bedroom, was lovely. Will come again.
- Duane (10/5): - Loved our stay, so relaxing, will definitely return and stay longer than the 3 nights.
- Jeremy (10/5): - Fantastic place to spend a night or weekend! Great location and facilities. Would stay here again without a doubt.
- Magda (10/5): -
- David (6/5): - Cheap…but you get what you pay for.
- Robert (6/5): - Cute little cabin
- Roger (10/5): Will return again - Great place to relax, quiet and secluded. Cute little cabins, very clean and decorated. Everything worked inside. Nothing
- Nan (8/5): - The bungalow was cozy and clean however, the one that we got was on the highway and so it was noisy. The pool and hot tub were lovely that we could walk right up the driveway too.
- Sharloth (8/5): - We had a wonderful stay at the three-bedroom cabin! We saw plenty of deer and were even lucky enough to spot a moose family. The kids loved the park, and we really enjoyed being surrounded by nature. The pool could use a little maintenance and the hot tub jets weren’t working during our visit, but overall, we had a great time and truly enjoyed our stay.
- Maria (8/5): - Cute and quiet place to say. Updated interior including bathrooms. Mattress on the bed could have been updated but might be on the list of upgrades as everything else was recently updated.
- jonathan (10/5): -
- George (10/5): - We spent three nights in a one bedroom cabin and enjoyed every minute of our time. We were greeted warmly at check in and found our unit to be clean and comfortable. The basics (soap, shampoo, salt, pepper, sugar, tea and coffee) were provided. We loved the bbq! The hot tub and pool were a nice addition.
We wish that we had been told about the boil water advisory when we were phoned to confirm or even at check in. It would've saved us a second trip to the grocery store. But other than that- it was great. Thanks
