• B (8/5): Good, solid, inexpensive hotel. - This hotel was a quiet and clean. We went to a nearby concert and all the name brand hotels were booked and were very expensive in comparison. The air conditioner/heater worked well. Shower was good, lots of hot water and good pressure. Very happy to have found this place and would stay there again. It was a little inconvenient to go to the office for ice, but really not a big deal.
• LuAnn (5/5): We wanted walking distance to the Crystal Grand theater so that was good. - Good location for what we needed. I did realize that it was not a high end property when making reservations. But some easy things could have been done to make it above average rather than just average. Our room was reserved for 2 people. 1 wash rag, 1 hand towel. There were 2 bath towels that were barely bigger than a hand towel. No glasses of any kind in the room. Even wrapped plastic would have been appreciated in the bathroom. Lots of mold at the base of the tub and bathroom baseboards held on with duct tape. The door knob was loose and there was no no additional security lock on the door. There was however a banquet type chair that could be used under the knob. Probably not the best of locations for security.

• Choua (6/5): The place was clean but the cleaning chemicals stunk the whole room, which wasnt pleasant. - The place was clean. The cleaning chemical smells horrible. It was giving me headache I had to run to Walmart to grab lysol to spray the room.
• Keith (8/5): Great stay - The gentleman at the counter was so accommodating and friendly. The type of person you could just hang out and chat with. One of the most friendly people I have ever met in the industry. Worst part really was the bed comfort. I had no problem, but my wife's back couldn't take it. The beds were harder than she would have liked.

• Dawn (2/5): Not worth the money. - Nothing really Very darkly lit on the outside making it feel very unsafe. No fan cover in the bathroom so dust was failing all down on you. Very uncomfortable beds.

• Kayla (8/5): It was very reasonable for the price! - I liked that it was close to what we needed it for. I didn’t like that the bathroom door didn’t close properly you had to shove and force it in and same to get out.
• Mlodzik (1/5): Kicked out because of a service animal. - Nothing We have a service animal for health reasons and the owner/manager kicked us out and called the police on us. The police made us leave even though our service animal falls under all ADA standards and it is completely illegal to kick us out of the hotel. Never asked either of the 2 allowable questions covered under the ADA completely ignored our response as she is a service animal and made us leave under the threat of trespassing. We were discriminated against due to a health disability

• Colleen (10/5): Helpful Manager! - The manager was always doing something to clean and offered help. Im at another motel in a nearby city and the managers speak almost no English and the man is extremely grumpy. What a difference. Thank you for your kindness😊 It didnt bother me, but the Dells cater to families and this motel has a pool and attracts those families. If you are going to complain about kids being kids, I suggest you try to find a place without at least an outdoor pool. I didnt have any complaints for the value.
• Kevin (3/5): ICE needs to visit this place. - Location was close to restaurants and bars. The rates were so low that it attracted some very sketchy people. Doors slamming all night. Kids screaming and running in the units and outside our room throughout the night. Couples yelling at each other at 3 am. Wow. Spend more you won't regret the extra $25 for a good nights sleep. This place had a third world feel

• Laura (6/5): Good for the price - The bed was very comfy. Hector was awesome - very friendly, professional and quickly took care of the 2 issues I had (wifi and 1 other small issue.) The TV was new and very good. Each room also has a microwave and new fridge. So I think new management or owners are working on improvements. This is a bare bones old-school motel, so adjust your expectations accordingly! Bring your own hair dryer etc! Several reviews mentioned bugs, specifically roaches. I always do an inspection for bedbugs and roaches no matter how nice the hotel. I saw zero bugs and no evidence of any bedbugs or roaches (I check mattress seams, behind headboards, etc.) My reservation was for a room at the far end from the office and the wifi did not reach that far. Hector allowed me to change rooms plus he worked on putting the router more central so it could reach all the rooms better. After that my wifi was great, strong enough to stream videos from my Xfinity app with no interruption. The curtains in both rooms had a little gap when I closed them. Hector offered a big paperclip to pinch them shut, which did work fine. He plans to work on a better solution, but maybe ask for the paperclip when you check in lol! Both the AC and heat worked (I stayed in October) but there was a gap when you close the door, so it might get chilly in the middle of winter. If you're on a very tight budget, this motel is safe and OK. Just remember it is an older property and bare bones accommodation.

• Neil (8/5): A nice comfortable place to stay on the cheap for the Dells. - The Malibu was conveniently located within walking distance of the Crystal Grand Theater. The was a very good Mexican restaurant and diner just across the street. Although we did not use the pool, many others seamed to enjoy it. The motel was slightly dated. The outdoor carpet to the upper rooms was faded. Our room was newly painted, and the smell of fresh paint lingered in the room. Had to leave the door open for a couple of hours to let it air out, then it was fine.

Beds and pillows were very hard, blanket felt like a hard nylon surface and wasn’t comfortable to sleep on. No mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot in the room. Had to prop a chair underneath the door handle to feel more safe because you can slightly push the door even with it locked. Toilet paper was like sandpaper.

• Chrissy (8/5): Very good - The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Staff was very nice. We didn't have a chance to go in the pool, but it looked clean and well taken care of. Would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room.

Excellent location Needs repair on lights on pool, and advertised a picnic table only a broken one. No coffee maker, fridge,or microwave in the room. Staining from door ended up getting on door knob. Looked unprofessional. Extra pillows would be a nice option.

One room had a bit of a mustyish smell and one bathroom door didn't close All the way. Also they have one microwave for all the rooms in the lobby

The room was also very damp and with mildew like scent. Carpets weren't fresh and the toilet kept stopping up. Curtains didn't close properly either.

• Marjorie (3/5): Staff made up for the shortcomings of the establishment with their friendly demeanor - I like that there was three full-size beds room was very large, and had a separate one bedroom for adults and was clean. And the older male clerk was very friendly, helpful and informative about the area. We really enjoyed meeting him. The room did not have the microwave, mini fridge, pull out sofa that advertised on the booking site. Carpets needed to be cleaned or replaced with linoleum and the building updated. The pool looked like it was new, but was completely drained of water. It would’ve been nice to have a swimming pool to come back to you at the end of the day for the money we spent on the room.

• Esther (9/5): Perfect for the price - This place is very clean the staff are so welcoming , no fridge but they provide us with ice so carry a cooler with you. They have a fireplace outside and provide fire wood . With the price is was a perfect place to spend a weekend 1 mile to Noah’s ark. So many restaurants. They pool was still u dear construction

It was a great value for us to have the three queen size beds for us and our children after a long day at the water park. The lobby had ice and a microwave and the hotel is in close proximity to the gas station and water parks. We will be staying here again next time we are in the area

• Evan (8/5): Great value for a night in the Dells. - Price and location are the name of the game here. This place is literally a bed and a shower. And that was perfectly ok with us. There's enough to do in the Dells that you shouldn't have to spend much time in a hotel room anyway. Given that this is one of the lowest priced places in the Dells I really don't have any complaints.
