• Tim (10/5): - Room was clean and tidy, very spacious for us 2 adults and 3 kids, the view was amazing, felt very secure and safe within the apartment, close to the district shopping centre and very close to multiple food stores and restaurants. Check in was super simple with easy guidance for self check in and check out, basic things to get us going with wifi and tv to keep us occupied while dining in. We will definitely be returning. We can not thank you enough.

I informed the booking that this was the case and gave them permission to use my card ( the one I paid on ) as bond. My son was contacted 2 days before and was asked for his card details. It was difficult to navigate finding a way to access the car on level 3. Those details would have been handy to have. You need to go through the fire escape. Would also be good to have a map. Location and view is great and quite spacious.

Waterfront restaurants were just steps away. I would definitely recommend this location! Stayed in 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit with my husband and daughter. We all loved staying there!
• Grandparents (8/5): Fabulous location, good size and quiet - Booked a two bedroom unit as had young child. Quiet well equipped apartment with lovely views. Balcony was good size for sitting enjoying the views of the harbour. Early arrival from NZ so left bags at the local mall information office (part of agreement with apartments) - just beware they don't open till 10am. Luckily local cafe was open for coffee earlier. Friendly apartment staff and efficient key pick up and drop off. Rooms were good size. Only downside was a very smelly toilet area - reported to owners on leaving and trust they will attend to it.

• Lupco (10/5): - Fantastic apartment spacious and clean in a quiet location but yet short walking distance to tram service that takes you into the main cbd for shopping, sightseeing and casino. Would highly recommend to all our friends and relatives and we would also stay there again in any future trips to Melbourne.

A quick phone call to Tony and he explained that he didn't know they were doing that work at that time. He made some calls and got them to rearrange their work schedule so they did not interfere with our stay. Great place to stay and very quiet.

• DAVID (10/5): Excellent accommodation in accessible area. - Good location in Docklands. Easy access to CBD via free tram. Very spacious, well equipped apartment with private car parking. Meeting for check-in was a little tricky and needed 2 phone calls and a 5 minute wail outside the locked car park gate.. Once we had met the agent, the paperwork was very quick and easy.
• Angeline (10/5): Nice hotel. Tram stop is just nearby. - Nice hotel near harbour. Easy to get around. There is a restaurant opposite which sell reasonable m'sia cuisine.
• Jon (4/5): Looks good, but no real substance - The 2 bedroom unit looked stunning, but that was all that it was... looks. The aircon heating was broken and only gave cold air (which is unhelpful when there in winter). The staff weren't able to get it fixed, and while they provided some heaters s (after a very cold night), it wasn't the same as ducted aircon throughout the unit. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, and had stains on the sheets. The shower was very temperamental and very low in pressure. It was very hard to get a temperature that wasn't either burning hot or cold as the slightest changed on the tap seemed to make drastic changes in the water temperature.

Clean and has everything an apartment needs. However could do with a little updating in terms of paint and it is just down to wear and tear. However a pleasant stay and would highly recommmend.

Shops and a choice of restaurants right on the doorstep. Our apartment had fabulous comfy beds and all you could need for a few nights away. We hired a car, but just left it parked the whole time as the location was so handy, we had no need to take the car out..!!
• Michael (8/5): - It really was an apartment so there is no desk to check in. The shuttle doesnt drop you off at the apartment but a few blocks away. Then you have to go to a convenience store to ask for your apartment key. With the key they give you directions to your apartment. The apartment was great but I didn't expect any of this.

A little bit of wear and tear on the couch and walls. Only complaint is that It only has one tv in the main living area. Would have been nice to have one in the main bedroom. The tram Stop is right outside the door making it really easy to get around Melbourne. The kids also loved the pool. Would stay here again.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Convenient and clean apartment - Everything is good other than the beds. Beds are a bit hard and pillows not soft enough. Tony was very friendly and gave detailed info on how to take the tram and where are the shopping malls. The tram station is just opposite the apartment and the Harbour Town factory outlet is just a few minutes walk from the apartment. Airport is just 30mins away. Most important is that the parking at the apartment is free. We will definately book this apartment again if we visit Melbourne.

Very secure with access restricted by tags on the keys to access the apartment building and the lifts. Walking distance to Harbour Town and the Ice Rink (we were there for a skating competition, so this was important). In the free tram service which was fantastic making it easier to get around.

• Caz (10/5): Modern apartment with spectacular water views. - The apartment exceeded expectations in every way. All mod cons included plus fulle equipped kitchen if you wanted to prepare meals. Conveniently located in Docklands in free tram zone with regular service to CBD. Plenty of restaurants and cafes in close proximity with 10% discount offered at a few eateries. IGA express store adjacent to apartment building. The only drawback was the wait time for the concierge to allow us entry to the building due to miscommunication from the person conveying the message that we had arrived. No reception on site so all communication by phone or email. Definite value for our money.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Pro's and con's - Stayed here for 2 nights with my fiancé and 2 children. Strange check in system as this is not a hotel but privately owned apartments, so it felt like a bit of mucking around but it worked ok. There is no signage in the carpark as it is a residential building, so you sort of walk around trying different doors to find the elevator, inconvenient with luggage etc. Owners were helpful enough. The 2 br apartment itself was good, both excellent sized bathrooms and bedrooms with clean modern facilities. A couple more towels etc would be useful for guests, as there is no house keeping. Short term I would recommend choosing something else. I've stayed in many hotel's in the cbd and this definitely fell short in my opinion, you just sort of feel like you're really offered the absolute minimum for the price paid which is on the higher end. I realise its not a hotel but it's being run as though it is so I would still expect a little bit more effort with guests. You just dont get that looked after feeling in this apartment. Long term with a family it would probably be pretty good. Location is excellent and included parking is very very handy. Personally, when I go away even if only for a couple of nights, I like to feel as though I can pretty much do nothing in terms of cleaning so I know next time just to stick to a hotel.
• Natasha (10/5): Great Location with Comfort & Great Views - We really enjoyed our stay at Harbour Escape Apartments!! The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and had lovely views of the city and water. It was extremely well located being only a short walk to Harbour Town, the tram stop, The Melbourne Star & restaurants. Also the IGA was right outside the front door which made it convenient for groceries. Do yourself a favor and dine at Renzo's around the corner on the waterfront. The pasta was the most delicious I've ever tasted!! Tony and Suzie were great to deal with, & Tony made sure that the room suited our needs. I was a little concerned about the apartment not having a reception, but this wasn't an issue at all. I would definitely stay here on my next visit to Melbourne!!

• Glen (10/5): Excellent Family unit in Melbourne - Harbour Escape unit on the 17th floor with extensive views over Melb city and Docklands. Fantastic with city lights. Terrific position with trams close by. Was 1st visit for our teenaged daughter and she was impressed. This visit all the more cemented our love for this city.
• Robyn (10/5): Wonderful Views - Great Position - We were most impressed by the communication from the initial booking. We were met at the car park entrance on the day of arrival and while my husband parked the car I was given a guided tour of everything I would require. We then met my husband at our car space and were taken to our accommodation which was Room 1308 a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment. We were most impressed with with beautiful views over the water to Port Phillip from the living areas. We also had direct views to the Melbourne Star from the Living areas and both Bedrooms. Position was brilliant as we had an IGA directly below the accommodation, we were 1 block away from harbour town and the City Circle Tram Stop as well as having all the eateries along the Dockside to choose from. So close to Ethiad Stadium and Melbourne city.

• Darren (6/5): Good accommodation in a great location. - Good accommodation but whoever designed the shower layout needs a butt kicking you can't open the door without water going onto the floor as it's a circular design and the shower head can't move far enough either side. Everything else is fine.

• Brad (4/5): Docklands Melbourne - I have been to Melbourne a number of times now. The room was clean the main bed needed to be replaced as it was uncomfortable. There was no place to put the ironing board except on the floor. As it is a very small one that suppose to sit on top of a table & the only power point we could use was near the floor. There was no control for the air conditioning unit. So we had to use the electric heaters that are attached to the wall in each room. The power point behind the cook top was loose & the sliding door to the front veranda you could not lock.
• Ron (10/5): fantastic hotel with great views - The hotel was fantastic with free parking and was situated close to everything we needed, ie restaurants, markets, shopping centres and entertainment. We were also close to the major motorway entrances that made it easy to get to attractions outside of Melbourne. We had a great time during our stay. We'll definitely stay here again.

• CHUAH (8/5): Clean, nice views, good location. - The 2 room apartment we had at the Palladio was clean, comfortable and spacious and had a nice view of the waterfront.We found the beds comfortable, not too soft, which suits us. Great location, short walk to Harbour Town shopping and restaurants. Free trams to the city are just a short distance in front of the apartments. Car parking is free which is hard to find in Docklands. Strong wifi but it's $35 per week.The living room heater which wasn't heating up the room very well in Melbourne's winter.

However, on this occasion we did not realise that the Grand Prix was on the same weekend and consequently encountered great difficulty in finding suitable accommodation until we stumbled across Harbour Escape Apartments on the internet; we consider ourselves very fortunate indeed. • Daz (10/5): Perfect location, great views - Great apartment located on Docklands region with gorgeous views. You can walk to Costco and the Harbour City Mall, and the free tram to the CBD stops right out front. The apartment is perfectly located for those who wish all the conveniences but don't want to pay to be right in the CBD. The staff are helpful and friendly and provide a stress-free check in procedure. Of note, this is not a serviced apartment, so if you run out of the modest amount of soap, paper, etc. provided you will have to purchase your own. A minor inconvenience, but something to consider for stays of a week or longer.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Good spot walking distance to a lot of places - Nice apartment, lovely views. Some blinds on the lounge room window would be nice so if u wanted to actually sleep in you could, as one of the bedrooms has a glass door, but overall a nice place

• yvette (6/5): Habour view (if you upgrade) - Fantastic view of the habour and the Ferris wheel but was charged additional. 'Service apartment' did not have cleaners nor sufficient toiletries for a 5 days stay. Beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious but the price does not justify these comforts. Check in staff did not give detailed overview on the amenities of the accomodation and we had to ask the residents for directions to the gym and pool.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Worth every cent - We had a change of plans and had to find accommodation quickly. Prices were going up, hotels booked out until we came across this little gem through Expedia. Above our normal budget but compared favourably with what was on offer. Communication with Suzie and Tony of Harbour Escapes was prompt and efficient. Tony met us at the entrance and showed us the apartment. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay there again. Obviously it would be more economical for 2 couples but considering the location and what the apartment offers it is still a good price for one couple. We had moved from a hotel in the CBD and though the journey was only 500 metres it was like going into another world. You were away from the hustle and bustle of city life yet able to enter that domain by a 10 minute walk, or tram, if you had business to conduct. We enjoyed being able to take leisurely walks without stopping at every corner for a red light. The atmosphere around this area is very relaxing.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Convenient location with good view! - It's a great location, close to harbourtown shopping center, tram station and with cafés and convenience stores round the corner. Nice and clean room with a great view. Only drawback is the lack of cable tv and no onsite reception.

• samantha (10/5): Location great - Easy to get in and out of the city with the use of the tram network which is free. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Having a car spot included was fantastic (in secure parking). The gentleman that meet us to give keys and show us in was on time and friendly.
