• Mark (6/5): Basic hotel, fine for an overnight layover - reconfirm your shuttle pickup before arrival - When we finally got to the hotel due to shuttle issues, the room was basic but comfortable. The hotel was walking distance to the city and waterfront. Breakfast was basic but fine. The shuttle back to the airport was perfect. Unfortunately the hotel forgot to pick us up at the airport so we were stuck there with no phone, no local currency and no shuttle. It was an hour of stress that we did not need. When the shuttle finally came the driver went to departures rather than arrivals which caused a further unnecessary delay. Nowhere to eat at the hotel in the evening.

• Sara (2/5): 2.5 stars - not great value for money - We were able to get a two bedroom suite, keeping the family together during our layover in Brunei. I liked this option much better than two separate hotel rooms. The buffet breakfast was better than I expected after reading other reviews. I was turned off the property before we arrived after receiving scam messages in the app and directly via sms seeking my credit card details. The hotel refused to refund me after I asked to cancel the booking. The room was extremely dated, the sheets were stained, toilet seats were dirty, and the bed was rock hard and pillows were very uncomfortable. The tv didn’t have any channels programmed. The shower had only cold water.

• Oliverius3008 (8/5): Excelent price perfomance ration and short walk to city center - It is a very standard hotel, but considering the price and the location in Brunei, it represents an excellent option. The rooms are clean, the location is within walking distance of the city center, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The airport pick-up and drop-off services are particularly convenient. That said, it would be a good time to consider some general maintenance improvements to the property. The wifi did not work well, on celphone and computer!

• Walter (6/5): Hotel zum abgewöhnen - Wenig. Irgendwie war die gesamte Zeit irgendwie „gedrückt“. Möchte damit ausdrücken, niemand half richtig, kein lächeln, nur funktionieren. Fairerweise muss ich den kostenlosen Shuttle zum Flughafen loben. Allerdings las ich das Angebot erst während meines Aufenthalts. booking.com sollte darauf hinweisen, denn dann hätte ich mir 51€ Abzocktaxi für 6 KM oder 15 Minuten ersparen können. Die Auszeichnungen aus 2017 und 2018 von z. B. Tripadvisor deuten auf bessere Zeiten hin. Ich kann allen nur empfehlen niemals während Ramadan dort zu übernachten. Mein Frühstück wurde mir (abends musste ich einen Wunschzettel ausfüllen) morgens im Flur auf einen Stuhl gestellt. Nebenan im Radisson wurde normal bedient. In Restaurants können Nicht-Muslime jederzeit Essen und Trinken! Nur hier nicht!

• Vivien (8/5): Would recommend as an overnight transit hotel. - The staff were friendly, hospitable and accomodating. The free airport shuttle to and from the hotel is an amazing service, especially if you're only after a one night stay because of overnight transit in Brunei and don't want to look around Brunei. I requested shuttle service but wasn't aware that I needed to fill in a further Google form within 24 hrs of the service, but despite this the hotel and the staff very kindly accomodated my pickup request. The bathroom was clean enough. Far better than just camping overnight in the departure hall. The rooms, while clean, showed a bit of wear and tear and aging. The included breakfast wasn't great and was cold, but I understand that there's typically a buffet that wasn't offered when I stayed because of Ramadhan, which is completely understandable.

We also joined a city tour for just 5 Brunei dollars, which was very convenient since distances in Brunei are quite long. Brunei is mainly a one-night, quick-visit destination Oda üç kişi için kesinlikle çok küçüktü. Rezervasyonu üç kişilik yaptığımızı düşünmemize rağmen, bize iki kişilik oda verildiği söylendi. Üstelik ödediğimiz ücret, o anki normal fiyatlara göre oldukça yüksekti ve üçüncü kişi için neredeyse bir oda fiyatı kadar ek ücret alındı. Havluların rengi iyi değildi. Kahvaltı ise çok zayıftı, neredeyse yok denecek kadar az seçenek vardı. The room was far too small for three people. Although we believed we had made a reservation for three guests, we were told it was for two. The price we paid was quite high compared to the standard rates at the time, and we were charged almost the price of another room for the third person. With three people in the room: • There was barely space to move • Opening our suitcases was very difficult • Even for two people, the room would have felt small The property feels old and worn. The towels were discolored. Breakfast was very limited, with almost no variety.

• Jeff (8/5): If you don’t mind old and run down, “everything else was great”. - Location was great, near most sites. The breakfast changed daily and was decent one day and good the next. Could not ask more from the staff!! I will never understand why a property doesn’t prioritize clean and comfortable when it caters to people that are paying to stay at their location. Now to clarify I am not saying it was necessarily dirty (although it could have been cleaner), what I am saying is upkeep is critical. A little paint and repair of damaged areas, along with the furnishings need to be up kept and maintained and this place is definitely lacking that. This is a management problem not a staff problem and I would have loved to give a higher review but I feel like I’ve already been to generous on the rating due to the mold on the ceiling in the main hall and the room(s) that have not had any up keep since built!

• ardenous (8/5): - The hotel has surprising service to pick up and drop off guests from BSB Airport. It also offers a FREE city tour and some other tours/activities. The room is not too big, but the bathroom is spacious. The breakfast does not have too many different choices, but the dishes change everyday and the tastes are good. Plus, the cat family are cute. The room did not have dental kits, so I had to the front desk to ask for some. No coffee or tea is provided in the room. The fridge is a bit noisy, especially at night. The location is in downtown but no stores or restaurants are nearby. Electricity outlets are not too enough for two guests.

• Malcolm (9/5): - The staff were excellent. They were friendly, knowledgeable and kind, especially Faiqah on reception and the two drivers, Stanley and Boy. Included in the price was transport to and from the airport and both were punctual and very easy. I also liked the free all-day tour round Brunei. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel! The breakfast was not so good but still edible.

Hotellet hentet og kjørte oss til flyplassen, uten kostnad. Hotellet ligger litt tilbaketrukket, men sentralt - gangavstand til det meste. Frokosten var enkel, savnet brødvariasjoner.

Location is 15-18min walk to center. Loved the free airport pickup and drop off. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast doesn't have a lot of options, wished wifi were better and that TV were modern (only gets a few, limited local channels). There are more centrally located hotels, but excellent value for money. I would stay again.
