• J (8/5): Geweldig genoten van Rome en heel veel moois gezien. In het hotel kwamen we helemaal tot rust en konden ons opladen voor - Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Mooi gelegen op loopafstand van station en Colosseum. Metro richting Vaticaan, Spaanse trappen en Trevi fontein op de hoek van de straat. Supermarkt tegenover hotel en ook diverse leuke restaurantjes. Houd rekening met traplopen naar de kamer; voor ons geen probleem maar goed om te weten. Ontbijt is eenvoudig maar prima.

• Amanda (10/5): Book this hotel you won’t be disappointed! Would for sure recommend! - I stayed at a few hotels in Italy, and by far this was the best of them all. The hospitality was outstanding, and the customer service was excellent from start to finish. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome. There are plenty of food options just steps away, which made everything super convenient. Be sure to make reservations in advance!

• Nimfa (10/5): - I had an absolutely perfect stay at Central Lodge Hotel — a solid 10/10 experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The location is another huge plus. It’s perfectly situated, making it easy to explore the surrounding area, with restaurants, shops, and transport all within walking distance. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options, fresh ingredients, and something for everyone. It was the perfect way to start the day.
• Andreea (8/5): A good accommodation❤️ - The accommodation is nice. Staff very nice and helpful, they offered us breakfast free of charge. The room was spacious for all 3 of us and cleaned everyday. It was a bit farther than expecting from colloseum but we managed with a nice walking. Restaurants and supermarket and subway closeby. There was a little bit of bad smell in the bathroom, but during the evening, it faded away. Price is high .. Breakfast can be improved - we shouldnt comment as we got it for free🫣 but they could use some vegetables, salads… variety of cheese And prosciutto…

Außerdem Supermärkte und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Frühstücksbuffet war etwas zu einseitig, sehr viel Süßes. Etwas mehr an herzhaften Alternativen wäre schön gewesen.

• Rojas (7/5): Modern & affordable - The room has a very nice modern look & feel. The location is not bad as it is close enough to walk to many things. Shower was also very modern and easy to use. The pillows were extremely HARD and very uncomfortable. The thermostat never actually worked. We were very cold each night even though we increased the temperature to as warm as it would go. The breakfast was very very limited. Bread, croissant, cereal and yogurt. The location being close to things was convenient however, you could hear every sound going on outside the building. You could hear people walking and talking by and hear their entire conversation. Don't even mention the vehicles passing at all hours, which is expected in a major city but there is zero noise cancelling anywhere in the building. Yup, even the trash trucks came by at about 4am and yup, you could hear every bang and sound.

La ubicacion es excelente (a 10 min de Termini, a 15 del Coliseo, hay restaurantes, supermercados y lavanderia a 1 min. las habitaciones son comodas, amplias, luminosas y bonitas. 10/10!

• Abigail (7/5): Good in parts... - Friendly, helpful staff are a real asset to the hotel. Quadruple room was decent size for us and our two children and very clean and the bathroom was equally well sized with nice rainfall shower. Staff were flexible about check out which meant we could take our time. Handy supermarket across the road and excellent La Taverna Vecchia is definitely a must while you're there. Location isn't that great. Yes it's within 15 minutes of the Coliseum but then quite a walk from the other main sites. Also very noisy with street noise/traffic and they were even digging up the road during one of the nights of our stay. Breakfast was average at best. Very slim pickings on the first day after the buffet had been ransacked by a group of students and not a huge selection. When we asked for eggs they did make them.

• Naomi (9/5): The hotel standards are good, the room size excellent. The bathroom was outstanding. Good location. - Was a good location for access to metro and Termini for buses(local and airport). The room was very good size and the bathroom was excellent. Some good places to eat locally as well as coffee shops. Nice to have a jug of cold water given in the evening from the bar for the room. Arranged a taxi to pick up from airport to hotel through the hotel on arrival. The cost was 70 €. They were 40 mins late to pick us up after 3 phone calls to the contract number. Then the driver also looked for a tip! Cost of a taxi from airport would only have been 55€ . ( outside control of hotel) Although hot water available from a dispensing machine in breakfast area (7am- 11pm) to make tea it would have been better to have tea/ coffee facilities in the room. We also had to plug the fridge in as initially thought it was not working until we found plug and socket behind fridge. There are about ten steps to the reception area and no lift for bedrooms on upper floors(advice for those with restricted mobility). Hotel did help with advance request to get room on reception level floor .

• ANDREW (9/5): Good value & service near to the heart of Rome. - Friendly staff, good sized clean rooms & ensuite. Not on a Main Street so relatively quiet. Lovely square nearby for morning expresso. Good access to Colosseum & centre of Rome. Just the mix up in the room we had cancelled through Booking.com, which will hopefully be resolved. Should have just contacted the hotel directly.

Some will say that the lacation is not the best part of the city, but it was ok for us. We arrived before check in time. While all the hotels l ever stayed in, let the guests check in if there room is ready without any charge, this hotel asked for half of the price of 1 night for early check in of 2 hours!! Also, sometimes there was sewage smell in the bathroom while taking shower.

• Harry (7/5): Well located budget hotel - Well located budget hotel in Rome. Felt clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly Breakfast was very basic. Cooked eggs and pancakes were the highlight, though otherwise limited and not very fresh. TV only had a couple of channels.

Staff molto gentile. sono rimasta molto delusa dalla colazione. non ho affatto gradito il fatto di dover prendere caffè, cappuccino o latte macchiato da una macchinetta. Il gusto delle bevande era orribile. Per fortuna c'era latte freddo che ha salvato la colazione. Anche l'assenza di personale durante la colazione non è cosa piacevole.
