- JESSICA (6/5): - I would love to say we will be back to this hotel. This is our second stay winin 2months at thia hotel. The first experience was okay except for the pool and hottub area. The hottub was luke warm. We thought perhaps this was a fluke and our room was nice so we came back with a fall trip up north. The hottub again was cold and the pool was very cold. The temp in the hottub would have been nice if it was the pool water. Safly this was not the case. If you are looking for a quality hotel with a hottub to relax in or pool to swim in go elsewhere. If not, this hotel is perfect for you. Nice beds. Decent continental breakfast. Good view of the lake. For the price a working hottub and decent temperature for a pool would be nice. No, we are not picky. We swim in lake superior! This is just not acceptable for the money.

- Lisa (10/5): - We reserved an upstairs room facing Lake Huron. The hotel provides plenty of options to sit and enjoy the spectacular lakefront views. Our room was clean, spacious, and allowed us to bring our dogs. The pool area is all windows, so you can see the lake feet away, while swimming. A nice breakfast is served. Highly recommend.

However our room smelt like wet dog and there was a dog barking in the bottom room quite contunually. We told the front desk and they did come and spray the room which helped but i just felt dirty the whole time. When you go outside of the rooms and walk past the ac units sticking out of the windows they all smell like wet dog.

- Maryann (8/5): Great location! - Nice spot in St. Ignace. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean. The view was great from our room. The staff was very welcoming. The hotel itself just felt a bit tired and smelled a bit musty throughout.

The pool was cold but appeared clean but the room could have used more ventilation. The breakfast was a hot breakfast but was limited.

- Dawn (2/5): - Room smelled like mildew, especially when wall unit AC kicked on. Shower curtain had mildew on it. Floors when dirty and nasty… do not walk in your bare feet in the rooms. Pillows were small square, decorative type pillows. Beds uncomfortable.

- Misty (10/5): - The hotel was run down. Needs updating! Pool and hot tub were dirty. Breakfast was ok. Kayaks need help, broken and missing paddles. The area outside needs cleaning. Patio doors were in need of desperate repair. Vathroom exhaust fan was screaming and noisy has been replaced since the 80s and it shows! Staff was friendly but basic communication was difficult for the most part. I would not stay again, i would go to the hilton next door and pay more for the updates and cleanliness.

(132) The sliding door in our room was broken and it was as if the room was locked in a 1980’s time capsule. The beds were clean. We suspect a mouse was in the room as there were droppings in a food bag we left on the floor. Hope this helps.
- Nathan (8/5): - It was nice to have a sandy area for the kids to enter the water. I did not like that our suite was fully carpeted and, although I know it's not controllable, the geese poop makes it impossible to walk in the grass.
- Debbie (6/5): - Our door frame looked like it was mauled by a dog, very torn up. There were lots of bugs in the shower basin. There were tons of dead bugs stuck to the ceiling in the eating area. The carpet in the room turned my white socks black. The outlet and nightstand light did not work. It was not worth the $240 for the night!
- Clay (8/5): - People were fantastic. Room was clean with the exception of some mold in the bathroom ceiling. Beach area was covered in goose poop and something else....not quite sure.
- Suraj (6/5): - Rooms outdated and could use some renovation. Breakfast area was good and breakfast itself was good. Check-in staff ( evening) could be more welcoming. Check out staff was good.

- GABRIELA (6/5): - Room smelled very damp and had a car air freshener hanging from the lamp. Show was nice but looks like some mold was starting to form in the shower ceiling. Staff was polite.

Maybe I’m just a hotel snob I think it fit right in w the whole area. It seems to have a 70’s motel ish vibe going I haven’t stayed in a motel where you pull your car up to your room since I was a kid. Room was clean and they did offer kayaks for guests to use and have plenty of lounge chairs out on the “beach” Also an abundance of geese were visiting this day which was cool to see… just step over all their landmines. Lol nothing you can do about that They were out of the way from where we had to walk
- Sonja (6/5): - We had water coming through light fixture in bathroom. When we woke up in the morning the light fixture in the entry of the room was filled with water.
- John (8/5): - The property is certainly older however the staff was nice. The breakfast was good. The view was great. The shuttle to the ferry is very nice and quick.

- Kristen (10/5): - I love a hotel that actually services your room everyday, unless you ask them not to! So refreshing to not have to go get more towels or coffee etc. Upon check out I forgot all of my jewelry in the nightstand and called the hotel, the front desk went to the room, found the jewelry and assured me it would be in the mail the next day when I emailed a prepaid postage label. The staff emailed me the next day that the package was successfully mailed. Excellent customer service from start to finish at this hotel!

- TAMERA (8/5): average stay, staff were the best though! - Staff were super helpful and friendly - had to have them help set up the TV. carpet, trim work, doors, etc all were dated and could use updating and maintenance, watchout for goose/bird poop in the yard with the lawn chairs to sit and enjoy the view of the lake. overall was a decent stay.

- Traci (8/5): Would stay here again - Hotel is right on Lake Huron. We had a balcony with a beautiful view of the lake. Breakfast was great. The building is quite dated but was clean. Beds were comfortable.

- Deena (6/5): - It's clean but old. Needs updating. I booked it for the waterfront but there was bird poop everywhere. You could not get in the water. I would not have booked it if I new that.
- Anita (10/5): - They are cat friendly. The room was huge and plenty of room. The hotel staff all new Bailey. They all stopped to say hi everyday. He loved to sit in the window. There was a window that we were able to open. The property is beautiful. Clean well kept. Breakfast was fabulous. Each day they did rotate things sonit was not all the same. Must stay!

- David (8/5): Nice Place - Nice place. The two queen room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. Friendly staff, with treats for my dog at the front desk. The only mild complaint I have is the coffee. It was watered down and awful. That said, we really enjoyed our stay.
