- Patricia (6/5): - The room was clean and the bed was a very comfortable king size bed and very freshly made up with good pillows. Although there was no check in personal we had no problem entering. The cleaner was very pleasant and accommodating. The property outside was a bit old and needed some love. No air conditioning or heat pumps, just a fan. Our stay was mid September so no bugs to speak of but screens don’t fit the old windows well so I imagine bugs having easy access.

- Deborah (6/5): Two nights in Percé - The positive is the room was very clean and spacious. We did not realize that the accommodations are a room only, not a bed and breakfast. There is a small common kitchen that you could use if you are travelling with your own food. The area for eating is small and not comfortable. The veranda in the photo is well maintained with comfortable looking chairs however it is in need of repair and maintenance, not an inviting place to sit. Overall a disappointment.
- Brent (10/5): - This is a hidden Gem in Percé - the owners are extremely helpful, the location is central to everything in town and most importantly it's a 30 second walk to the waterfront. The rooms are comfortable, the downstairs kitchen has everything you need for coffee in the morning and there's hot water for days. If you're looking for a home base while you explore Percé I'd highly recommend checking them out.

Malgré la carte "ne pas déranger" on entrera dans votre chambre et on bouclera vos valises. Sac à main, bijoux et équipement électronique seront mis en libre-service dans l'aire commune. Très désagréable façon de conclure un séjour.

Open during off season which is great. However, no EV charger. No staff on site (although you can text to contact one). We were on the ground floor and we could hear the only other adult guests upstairs walking and closing their door. If we were there at a busier time of year with most rooms booked it might get a bit noisy I suppose.

- brent (2/5): - Sweat Box! We were there during the recent heat wave. Upon arrival, we found that there was no air conditioner in the room. We texted the owner and he inquired if the window was open. The window was open as much as it could. There is a storm window which hinges at the top that opens approx 5" which effectively blocked any potential breeze ). One of the staff brought over a fan. This did little but push around hot air. First night the lowest the temperature got was 26C. Second night lowest temperature was 29C. After two sleepless nights on the third day, miraculously, we were asked if we would like to have a portable AC unit installed in our room!!! It's surprising that the new owner wouldn't rush to his new property to make sure of the confort of his guests and install an ac unit. When you look around the property and see the neglect (i.e. grass not cut; shrubs not trim; etc) its not surprising. We do not recommend staying at Chez Rose Belaïd!

- Elizabeth (8/5): - Location was great! Walkable distance to Perce rock wharf, restaurants, boutiques. Easy check-in and checkout, with lock code provided for the room (so no keys to keep track of). Smart use of the room with table and chairs also provided. Also contains a mini fridge and freezer space, which was very convenient. Please note though that the toilet is a bit crammed (not enough space around). Also, as observed with other places, not enough sockets for plugging in electronics. This may be easily solved by providing a power bar in the room.

If this was stated somewhere in the description of the auberge on Expedia, I must have missed it, otherwise I would have never booked a room there. We do not carry so much cash with us, so we had to look for a different place to stay after driving the whole day in the fog and the rain. We are very grateful to the wonderful people at the Perce Tourist Office for their suggestions and to the lady at Motel & Chalets Glenn who welcomed us and rented us a warm, clean and comfortable chalet.
