- Tereza (6/5): - The bed was really comfortable, however..... The aircon remote didn't work, the unit had to be turned on manually. It was set to 26deg and that couldn't be changed. Black mould on the bathroom ceiling (lots), the bathroom tap wouldn't turn off completely and the loo cistern didn't stop dribbling into the bowl. The shower cubicle had mould in it. The bathroom window didn't shut properly. The carpet in the hall looked like many people had relieved themselves on it. The staff member was friendly though
- Kerry (4/5): - Reception area uninviting, metal shuttle over reception counter. Stained carpets throughout. Room very small and cramped, built in furniture worn, dirty ceiling fan, roller blind inoperative & in closed position. Bedding clean. Bathroom clean. Very noisy AC and could next door room shower & noisy corridor. No fly screens on windows. Should have read others reviews before booking, would not have booked there!
- Shirley (2/5): - A few issues, difficulty with the heater, empty shower wash dispenser, no hair dryer, had to ask for a spare toilet roll, some electrical plugs not working. Otherwise comfortable, a few dining options in the area, not far from the beach.
- Sarah (4/5): Not the best - I was not expecting anything fancy for the price i paid, however i still think for the price, that this place is quite poor. I will not stay here again. The place was not clean, there were stains all over the floor and on the matress protector that hung down off the bed, the room smelt very musty, the blind was broken so i couldnt pull it up to let air or light in, there were hairs in the shower that were not my own and the bed was quite wobbly and squeeky.

- Michael (6/5): - We enjoyed a clean and comfortable bed. The location is excellent, only being two blocks from cafes, restaurants and the beach. It was a cheaper place to stay. Carpets are due for replacement, some of the bathroom fittings, draw handles and toilet roll holder were rusty, the cistern on the toilet leaked, so about a third of the bathroom floor was always wet. Heat pumps are on the same frequency, so after going to bed, ours came on. Fortunately, the heat pump could be turned off at the powerpoint.

- Nick (4/5): - This property looks ready for demolition. I don't think the manager has a chance of presenting it at an acceptable standard. There was a disabled lady in the next room who kept approaching me and knocking on my door/wall through the night. The TV did not work- it had token rabbit ears for reception. The walls and carpet were in great disrepair (gross permanent stains, deep mould etc) and looked impossible to keep clean. The hot water took 5 minutes to start warming, another 5 to get hot. Lights from the advertising billboard were directed straight into the room. The windows were so decrepit they kept little of the busy road traffic noise out. If I had the energy I'd ask for a refund.

- Isabelle (4/5): - The room was really small. There was dirt on the fan surface that was visible from the bed. The carpet on the staircase and bedroom was very dirty. The location of the building was great.

- Debra (4/5): Not impreased - If they want to charge that amount for a room, it needs to be clean and. The bathroom had mould. The television should work The arial was a rabbit ear one and did not give a signal to the tv. The maintenance was poor.
- Guy (4/5): - Over priced. After hours number not available for two days. Very uncomfortable extremely OLD feeling mattress and cheap bad uncomfortable small pillows. Big gap under door and light streaming in all night. Loud residents throughout the night. And a foul smelling room of mold, smoke and maybe death? Disappointed that I cannot recommend this place.

- Jodie (10/5): - We had a perfectly comfortable stay. This place is cheap so you get what you pay for but it was ideal for our short stay. Great location only a short walk to North beach. Our room had a brand new air conditioner which was great on a very hot day. Our new place to stay in Wollongong.
- Kavitha (2/5): - Not happy , noisy doors, stinky carpet, rusty chairs and tables. Stains on the blankets not thoroughly washed extremely tiny sink (wash basin) , no soap holder in the shower. They should fix all these problems.
- Sarah (2/5): - Do not book this property. The manager advised that the building is slated for demolition and it shows. The toilet in my room leaked dirty water all over the bathroom floor. There was no hot water. When I raised the blind the window was smashed. I don't know how a property this bad can be listed for accommodation.

- John (2/5): - No Staff Had to call Number on check in Notice as Key Card we collected in a Safe did not open our door. There was no TV remote in room again called number and we received a remote. During night the Air conditioner stopped operating , Parts of Room was not cleaned to a good standard Had to ask for Clean Towels Next afternoon, they were supplied we were lucky that we didnt need air conditioning as it weather was kind.

- Liz (6/5): - Great location near North Beach and friendly staff on check in. Room was very small but comfortable. Unfortunately we had no hot water in the shower which was a challenge with small children.

- Frank (6/5): - I liked that the room was clean and tidy however no food available. Also there was no hot water for a shower in the morning. I ran the hot water tap for about 10-12 min straight but the water was cold.
- Melinda (4/5): - The hotel smelt of stale smoke. My room wasn’t ready or cleaned. They changed my room three times until they found one that was clean. I will say that the two ladies serving me were actually lovely. So no complaints about them.
- Robert (6/5): - The location is perfect. The room was fine, but the showers were variable, with cold water one morning. The walls are also thin, meaning you could hear your neighbours
- Craig (2/5): - It was in a good location and the bed was comfortable and it had sachets of coffee sugar and milk. Maybe a toaster and microwave would have been great. Maybe get new towels as the one's we had were just about transparent. I understand the building is old and we were told to run the hot water for at least 5 minutes. It was more like 10 minutes before we had hot water. We were also told the front door to the building for security purposes would be shut around about 7:30 at 8 o'clock But this was not the case it was still open at 9:30. We had a random person come knock on our door and ask us for a phone charger about 10pm. We could hear doors slamming and people talking very loud and coming in and out the building up until about 1am. The room was described as a Deluxe corner room with ensuite. Photos of the rooms and descriptions make it look good and sound good but on site definitely disappointing when we walked in. Definitely not worth $169 a night. Wouldn't stay or recommend this hotel. We definitely feel after this stay we should be refunded.
