- Faith (4/5): A faded grand hotel who used to care about excellence. - The staff were very helpful, friendly & professional. The jacuzzi was tepid, the pool was cool, the floor around the pool had 1/2 inch of water every where & there was visible refuse on the floor. We slept well. The bed was very comfortable. The room service was the biggest disappointment. It arrived in a paper bag!!!???!!! Paper to go coffee cups, eco plastic takeout containers, eco plastic utensils, catsup packets, etc. I don’t call this room service. I call this takeout. A $60 lukewarm breakfast served in a paper bag was not what we had in mind. Extremely disappointing. They seem to be having an identity crisis. What once was a grand hotel is a bit tired & sad. Staff are wonderful & deserve better, just as the guests do. The room service, pool & jacuzzi.

They tried to tell me that booking.com didn’t charge me for the included breakfast but they did and I showed them the email. Apparently they have issues with that.

I'm a pillow snob, but they had a variety of pillows to choose from, I was very happy about this. There are several dining options across the street, that was easy. My only point for improvement would be to turn up the temp of the hot tub, it was lukewarm... Overall good stay.

- 688seanh (8/5): Functional and cost efficient business hotel - This is a functional, pleasant and convenient accommodation venue for business travelers visiting any of the nearby corporate entities in Malvern, PA. This low rise hotel has 2/3 onsite eating venues covering all meals and a bar, a small convenience store, a small fitness room and pool. There is a short walking trail from the carpark through some neighbouring corporate properties. Walking to nearby dining and other venues is not an option due to the absence of sidewalks or pedestrian friendly road crossings. There are no onsite laundry facilities but a collect and deliver laundry / drycleaning service. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Noise from other guests in adjoining rooms or hallways is common but manageable.

- Chris (8/5): Nice hotel - Hotel is nice & open with large ceilings & importantly has automatic doors at entrance & exit. Check-in staff nice. Not a long wait. Convenient snacks, drinks & toiletry area to purchase items. Loved that we were given for free cold water bottles upon check-in. One thing I suggest changing is handing out cookies with nuts in them. Too many people allergic including my sons. Also there is a sign at seated entryway that says you are given an allergy free cookie at welcome.
- peteriM9646ZV (10/5): Attended the Azalea Society of America Conference May 7-10 2025 at the Desmond Hotel in Malvern PA. - I stayed there for the Azalea Society of America conference from May 6 to 10 2025.We were given a discount because of our conference at the hotel. The room and beds were very comfortable and spacious and a delicious breakfast was included.I used the pool and the spa which was very relaxing.There were outdoor areas for relaxing and beautifully well maintained grounds.The only complaint was getting there from the Philadelphia airport twenty-five miles away( $155 US dollars each both ways by a transfer company) The hotel shuttle took me to the nearby Jenkins Arboreteum 15 minutes away .At the conference a buffet dinner and a served banquet was good,a buffet breakfast was a disappointment and I prefered the breakfast in the main dining room although the service was slow. Its great hotel for guests with their own transportation.Longwood Gardens and Wnterthur was about 45 minutes away.Anoter complaint I had that there was only a cash only bar for the conference buffet and banquet and no bottles of wine for sale.

- topkat414 (2/5): Mother's day disappointment!!! - Here for work Saturday evening was looking forward to a nice breakfast before having to return to work again on Sunday. Double check time at front desk since it's mother's day (yes I'm a mom, working on mother's day) only to arrive at restaurant area to initially turned away, then offered a 'pick-up to go option that I could eat in a side bar area sequestered from their extra $$ mother's day brunch taking place in the regular breakfast area. Very sh**y way to start my 'working on the road' mother's day!!! Front desk, who had provided the incorrect info, via my check in text exchange, for hotel guest breakfast, was zero help and just kept looking away and typing at her computer.... Needless to say I just checked out and am now on my way to a diner somewhere between here and my next work assignment that I have to be at at noon! Hope you all have a much better mother's day than me ... This hotel screwed a paying guest in favor of their non grurst $$ brunch event, beware if you stay here at any holiday!!!!

Since it is not close to the Philly airport more shuttle informotion at the front desk would be helpful. Nice staff, Great place to stay.

Shout out to Jackie our waitress, she is incredibly friendly, attentive, and really made our dining experience amazing.

However, this time, we felt that the total experience was not worth the price paid. The room was devoid of its former charm and amenities: such as glasses for water and a magazine about the area, etc. I would not recommend this lodging to friends or family. The food that we consumed was also sub standard.

- Harry (10/5): - It was a lovely hotel and the Holiday Decorations were outstanding. Christmas Eve, restaurant closed @ 4:00 and bar @ 6:00. I realize there weren’t many guests, but every restaurant in the area was closed. Residents can always dine at home, but hotels guests can’t and free sandwiches and chips is a nice gesture but not when you’re paying $250.00 a night for a room. Same goes for nothing being open on Christmas Day. Also, guests who park in handicapped spaces usually have mobility issues. Why are the Hotel Handicapped spots so far from the Hotel?

The front desk team are FANTASTIC, very pleasant and welcoming, the restaurant servers also excellent. We had 2 great rooms, bed was extremely comfortable - far better than most hotel beds. This is our favorite hotel in the West Chester area, and we have tried them all. Good pricing & easy to get to from the highway. Plenty of parking- well lit. Kudos and thanks for a great stay!

- Kevin (1/5): I would not do it again even if it was free - Bar staff was okay and restaurants that was okay Ask for towels it was like the end of the world I had to use the towels that I had to dry the bathroom floor because they didn't even have proper drainage for the shower which was plugged up and the shower curtain was 6 in off the floor no remote control for the TV was told my stay would be 179 a night front desk turned out to be 201 a night later and they put $100 hold on a card for incidentals which we had no incidentals we had to buy towels because when we asked from they said we would have to wait at least an hour before the maid cleaning the room next to us would be able to give them to us which they are clearly on a card in the hallway in front of our room I would never go there again even if it was free

- Hilda (6/5): - The staff were great & the room was clean with a comfortable bed. But, the HVAC system did not go into ‘quiet’ mode even when switched off. So it buzzed and rattled all night, like an AC unit that is booting up to run. The windows didn't open, so I could not drown out the electrical rattle/buzz with some cricket/ environmental white noise. Also -note there is no minibar or room service, for late arrivals. Restaurant & bar was closing when I arrived; but the staff was great (!) and got me a glass of wine before they hit the lights. But there was no food available, unless you left the premises.
- Daniel (8/5): - Only thing was a little surprised no microwaves in rooms or even not able to request one we have an autistic child c good sensitivities etc we have to pack and reheat food on trips
- Lisa (10/5): - This was a quick overnight for a lacrosse tournament. It was clean, no issues.
