It had a high end boutique hotel feeling with staff very responsive to our needs. Not that busy or crowded, just the right balance of guests that make you feel always personally attended. Family friendly the kitchen will cook at request for your kids.
• MECHEL (10/5): - We are from California, but are Filipinos. Stayed with small kids. Good to stay in a place that is locally-owned. They have live band and bbq stand. Complimentary buffet breakfast which is nice. Polite and accommodating staff.

• Cristina (6/5): - Just a heads up, if you stay in this hotel and you break a glass accidentally they’ll charge you upon check out. We had dinner with my whole family and the glass slipped and broke. I was surprised that they charged us. We paid for it anyway but I was just disappointed. For the amount we paid for this hotel that happened should have been curtesy for us and it’s only one glass. It’s okay I understand, but I’m not coming back here and I will not recommend this hotel.

• Joycee (8/5): - Its right on the beach, White beach , Station 1, its less crowded. There’s crystal kayak and paddle board you can hire right there. Walking distance to station 2 when on the beach and 100 pesos for four Etrike to DMall. Decent breakfast buffet included. Their restaurant its only a few feet from the sand and water. There’s reclining beach chairs you can sit and enjoy the shade under the coconut tress. Staff are nice and friendly. There’s free water jug in your room. Beach towels are provided .We didn’t know how to operate the TV but we’re mostly outside and on the water. Beds and linens are not the best but still got the best bang for my buck.

• Yen Mon (8/5): - Good location if you prefer the quieter end of Borocay. Tasty hot & cold buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. Always attentive service from the hotel staff - due to a dodgy aircon unit they swapped our room straight away. Very clean rooms & spacious shower room. Hotel has an outdoor beachfront too & convenient for sunbathing. Please be aware though re charges for henna stains on the linen (there is a notice in the rooms about this) and to keep the linen clean (!) We were charged a ridiculous amount for what was obviously non henna stains (small make up stain & minor dirt marks) - the staff will not differentiate - very frustrating & put a dampener on the end of our stay there.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - The stay was very comfortable; location was great; beachfront. Bathroom did not drain well (this is the only negative about the place). Food - good not great and occasional fruit flies lingering so I only ate the covered food not the fruits. I will definitely stay in this hotel again if there is a chance to come back; price is reasonable. Staff are so friendly and helpful and this alone is worth the return stay, if ever.

• Justine (10/5): Oasis in Busy Boracay - The Residencia Boracay was everything I was hoping for based on reviews I had read prior to going there. It is located at a quieter end of the beach in station 1 (about a 20 min walk along the beach or short tricycle ride to the center of station 2). It is nestled between to larger more upscale resorts, but you can not beat the beach front setup at this hotel - due to it being smaller it is never a problem to find a lounger to relax on and it seems the beach is the nicest and quietest here - hardly any vendors bothering you. Another bonus is the beach towels provided by the hotel. The hotel staff are all exceptional doing everything they can to go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. They assisted us to find a room to better meet our needs traveling with our 8 month old daughter and made the move from one room to another so easy! The included breakfast is wonderful with a large variety of items to choose from and the onsite restaurant is great for snacks, drinks, and room service if needed. I wouldn't even think of staying anywhere else the next time I return to Boracay - you cannot beat the value, location, and service at Residencia Boracay.

(10/5): Perfect location with kind staffs - There is the white beach just in front of the hotel.It is a perfect location to enjoy swimming, take a rest, read a book, and talk with my friend on the beach. The staffs are mostly kind and friendly like my friends. Furthermore, it is cosy and peaceful place to stay due to its location between Diniwid beach and Station 1 with no loud music at night compared to other locations. Highly recommend!

Some outside hammock should be change or updated too I think. Overall short 2 days stay is good. Best is that its not very crowded as there 4 other guests who stayed as well. Great time to relax and unwind.
• Verified traveler (2/5): CRAPPY HOTEL!!!! - DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!! We got the Superior Room and it was absolutely crappy!!! A waste of money and ruined our vacatIon. The room looked simple and ok. But it is beside the other hotel's wood fire chimney so smoke filled in our room and the whole resort, smelling like charcoal & hurting our lungs!!! The bathroom is old, cheap tiles, dirty grout & smelled like the septic tank the entire time!!! The bathroom picture is not posted in expedia so it is very decieving!!! The superior rooms are also beside the breakfast area which were noisy as early as 6am!!! Guests were also playing personal loud music & staff did not do anything about it even if we complained!!! Rooms were also not cleaned everyday, we had to request towels and trash to be changed since it was not automatic. Lastly, staff & security guards were not very helpful. They even noisily chatted with local vendors passing by and sat on the beach beds with the vendors, which ruined the entire vacation experience!!! A very crappy hotel!!!!

• Joel (6/5): Great location but everything else standard - Very standard hotel, with standard beds, bathroom and poor wifi (didn't work in our room). Breakfast is standard. Air conditioning works well and can be left on while you are out of the room. Convenient extra room to wash your sandy feet. Perfect location.
• Yong (6/5): basic hotel with good location - if you want a no-frill hotel with basic facilities and good location, this is a good choice. the room is very minimum, no coffee making facility, very simple deco (or no deco at all). No bottle water and the staff did not tell us where to get drinking water in the hotel, we have to go out and buy our own drinking water. if you need to get connected to the internet 24/7, choose other places. Internet connection in our room is hopeless, most of the time it cant get connected to the WIFI. If it does, 50% of the time it cannot connect to the internet.

It is a relatively small hotel but it can deliver more of what you can expect. It has the balance of green and modern Boracay. It has its own charm. BEACH: It has the one of the widest and whitest beach in the sland where you can get a good tan.It has a good beachfront lounging area- your privacy is secured while enjoying the beach under the shades of coconut trees. The water in front of the hotel is gradually sloping, and is very ideal for swimming. Beach beds are enough for the hotel guests. Beach towels are available upon request. The beach is just a few steps away from your door. ROOMS: The rooms are basic but spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable. Linens are clean and crisp. Flat TV, open cabinet, and a small fridge are available. A/Cs are available and reliable. Electric sockets are also provided. Hair dryers may be provided upon request.It may be better if complimentary water and flat irons are provided. BATHROOMS: The bathrooms are clean and spacious. Hot shower is provided. Water supply is plenty. Complimentary soap and shampoo is provided.Towels are available. It will be better if dental kits are provided. BReAKFAST: In house bar or restaurant is not available. • Jomar (8/5): An Affordable hotel but elegant - This hotel is very peaceful, clean and yet far more affordable compared to other hotels in Station One. This Hotel is also right beside Ambassadors Hotel. Although No kitchen is available all the time with Residencia.
