Guest Reviews
- Erica (2/5): - I don’t understand how this hotel has any good reviews. The pictures are catfish! It’s very old, dirty and needs renovations. The entryway is dirty and the walls of the room are dirty. The bathroom had an odor and the shower was disgusting. Thankfully I stayed 1 night before going to the hotel, I didn’t shower that’s how bad the bathroom is! Apparently the previous guests kicked in the door so it was damaged. The host apologized & said it was getting fixed. The only positive is the location, you can walk to everything.
- John (10/5): - Great location and accommodations. After a long travel day we got there about three hours before the 3pm check in time and opted to pay the $25 early check in fee.
- Michael J (6/5): - The location of the hotel was perfect. It's right in the middle of all of Rome's attractions. You can walk to everything, except the airport. The drawback is you must walk up 2 flights of narrow stairs to get to the hotel. There is a small elevator that can fit 3 pieces of luggage and nothing else.
The room was nice except there was mold in the fridge and it never got cold. The person at the desk quickly cleaned the fridge and apologized for it. The bathroom was the bigger issue, there was mold all over the tile in the shower. Nothing was done about that issue.
I asked about the VIP gift of sparkling wine and the women at the desk had no idea what I was talking about.
- EDOUIN (10/5): - The receptionist is very considerate and helpful. He really walked us through the points of interest around the area. We had a great stay and definitely i will recommend this hotel. The stairs are a little bit tricky but the small elevator offers a greater use for the luggages. Indeed, a great stay for my family.
- Louise (10/5): - Didnt have food at hotel, but the location was excellent. Luca and his team were always helpful and very friendly. The room was immaculate and so roomy. Our stay there was delightful and i would do so again
Me and mine really had a lovely 3 days.
- William (8/5): - The only comment I have is that the hotel amenities list the hotel has an elevator. True, but to get to the elevator you must climb a flight of stairs to get on and descind a flight getting off. If mobility is an issue, this is not a great stay.
Otherwise, itsa great location.
- Mustafa (10/5): - Very good location, clean room and affordable.
- Kristen (8/5): - Moira was lovely !
- Audrey (6/5): - The location was great (Spanish steps and trevise fountain). Moira was an excellent host and she made our stay wonderful.
- Lisa (10/5): - We enjoyed staying at this property. The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. They did such a great job at communicating with us. I highly recommend!
- Mollie (10/5): Incredible hotel at incredible price - We booked a last minute trip to Rome for 1 night. This hotel was one of the cheapest within our budget, but definitely looked the best, which is why we ended up booking it.
The location is brilliant, very near to the Spanish steps, but not so much footfall outside that it disturbs you at night.
Moira was in contact via WhatsApp the day before and we discussed check in. She was so lovely and kind, we were even able to check in early which was a nice bonus!
The room itself was spacious and bright. Had everything we needed and more including complimentary toiletries and tea/ coffee / biscuits. There was also a mini fridge to use which we found handy. The bed was comfy and the shower was powerful. I have 0 complaints about this property and will certainly book again when next in Rome!
- Marianne (10/5): - Moira and her team couldnt have made us feel any more welcome. Location is 1st class, 10 mins from the Spanish steps and the Trevi fountain. Huge selection of restaurants near by as well as fantastic shopping. We would highly recommend.
- Kelley (8/5): - Property is in a fantastic location. It has an elevator, but note that there are still stairs on each floor.
- adriana (8/5): - We only stayed one night before our flight back home. the room was clean and comfortable but is not a hotel per se, its more like an apartment and you stay in rooms, elevator is tiny so prepare to take your luggage up a couple of flight of stairs, im ok with it but it was hard on my mom thats older so def a stay for younger people. The staff was super nice and we were late to check in and we had great communication about it. Its located on the heart of shopping and restaurants so very busy at night but the rooms are quiet. Comfy bed and spacious bath. No amenities at all.
- Gail (10/5): Amazing! - Moira was so helpful and accommodating! The room was very clean and there were nice treats available. The location was perfect! Steps away from the Spanish Steps and Trevor Fountain, great shopping and all Italian food and drinks!
- Jamie (6/5): Disappointed - I was very disappointed in the room here. Yes, Maura was nice and helpful. However the room was just a place to crash—devoid of any attempt to look cheery or even pleasant. Coffee machine in room, worth paper cups not meant for hot beverages. That said, cups weren’t replaced the next day. Most of all —the dismal and dirty carpeting that led to the “hotel.” The only thing it had going for it was the location.
- Christina Marie (10/5): - I cannot say enough about this property. Our host Moira was incredible. She was there to guide us when we needed help, ensured we had what we needed in our room, and even booked our taxi to the airport for us. The bed was very comfortable as well. I rarely sleep well on vacation but on this one I slept great! The location is great and we easily walked everywhere. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
- Kristen (10/5): - The property and staff are wonderful. Moira was especially lovely and the location can’t be beat. It was a perfect start to our Italy trip.
- Meredith (10/5): - The staff at the hotel were excellent. The size of the room was great, it was big enough for 2 adults and a child. We had a few lights that were not working and the staff were very quick to fix. Property is very central and walkable. The cleaners were was fantastic and so was the reception staff.
- Ramona (8/5): - Location is great, but the shower backed up and plumbing wasn’t very good.
- Shelly (10/5): - Moira was so kind and VERY helpful. From start to finish she knew our names and was always friendly snd helpful. This property is in a great location. Walkable and safe.
Thank you Moira for making our trip memorable
- Ana (10/5): - This hotel was absolutely perfect for me and my husband. The area was conveniently located to amazing name brand shopping, great food, coffee but most of all it is extremely easy to get to the tourist sites from this location. Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, Pantheon and Borghese Gallery were all walkable from here. At the hotel itself Moira is absolutely wonderful and helpful. She gave amazing recommendations and helped us when it came to transportation questions. I was nervous about navigating Rome for the 1st time but I was pleasantly surprised at how easy everything was and close it was from this hotel. Price, location and hospitality did it for me! This is where I'l stay again when I come back. 10/10 recommend.
- Brian (8/5): - We stayed for 1 night. The entry stairwell could use a good cleaning. The room was quite nice
and spacious. It took awhile to get hot water- had to let the tap run for quite awhile. Moira was very friendly and easy to deal with.
- Fernanda (10/5): - Really nice staff, spacious room, super clean. Great location.
- Albert (10/5): - Staff is very helpful. Ideal location and close to everything.
- Lory (10/5): - Excellent location and host. Great area ! Thank you!
- JC (8/5): - Close to a lot of the main attractions. Make sure your deluxe room is the one you want. We ended up in their very small room for 2 people and luggage. It worked but we thought the room we booked was bigger.
- Dennis (8/5): - Moira was great. She was helpful and very attentive to your needs
- Scot (10/5): Enjoyed our stay - This hotel is very close to the attractions, dining, and shopping. We would stay here again. Nice room, quiet, clean.
- cassandra (10/5): - I love the staff I think the ladies name is Moyra and she was great very kind and helpful person
The room was great very clean and spacious and had the best air conditioning and perfect location it was my mom and I staying here and we both felt safe even at night I would definitely stay here again
- Heather (10/5): - Shower was bad and the toilet flush button didn’t always work but other than that we loved it!
- Hasmik (10/5): - Very nice hotel close to the center.
With cozy atmosphere, clean room and great customer service.
Moira is the nicest person I have met in Europe during my trip. She was always there for me with the help.
Will definitely recommend to choose this hotel for your future trips.
- Melody (10/5): - It was a great stay, very clean rooms with great AC for Rome. Safe and convenient area
- Hugo (6/5): Central location - Central location: very close to the Pantheon, Trevi fountain and Spanish steps.
Comfortable, but definitely no luxury items.
Clean.
Very poor WiFi.
In terms of the price, it is average value for money.
- Annette (2/5): Unfortunate costly mistake - I know it was my fault, an easy typo mistake of date, but the hotel wouldn’t change the date for me. Lost $500 even when requested they had the same room available on the correct date. Hotels.com tried on my behalf numerous times to no avail, they were great, but really upsetting start to a holiday. The hotel could have made the change but chose to just keep my money.
- Derek (10/5): Rome - Great location. Nice cool air conditioned room.
Molra was very friendly and helpful with the room and booking taxi to airport for us.
Comfortable king sized bed and our son was happy with the twin bed.
Nice bedding and pillows too.
- Terry (10/5): Perfect stay in Rome - Our stay at this cute little boutique hotel was nothing short of awesome! When we arrived, we got there quite early and the manager let us check in at noon almost 3 hours early. Our room was beautiful, well equipped, clean, and very comfortable except for maybe the pillows lol. The receptionist or guest manager Moira was awesome. She was so helpful to us throughout our entire day and not only was she helpful but she just exuded friendliness and professionalism at all times. We would highly recommend this hotel. It was a perfect location: very quiet room, very comfortable room, and Moira was fantastic!
- Neikya (8/5): - Had to book this property at the very last minute at the airport and was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Moira at the reception desk was amazingly helpful and friendly. This was perfect for what we needed. I would definitely stay here again.
- Alexandra (10/5): - Wow, this property was amazing! The staff were so kind and welcoming, especially Moira. The location was perfect! It was very walkable to all the sights and even if we were feeling lazy, there was a subway station very close. The room was very clean and modern. There were lots of great restaurants and shops nearby. Moira, the main receptionist, was the star of our show though! We went into a cafe nearby to grab some snacks and waters for the night and we ran into Moira. She was so incredibly kind and paid our bill at the cafe!!!! I couldn’t believe it, what a kind act! She said it was her pleasure to host us at this hotel and wanted to extend her appreciation. My husband and I were so happy and grateful for this kind gesture. Not only was the room fabulous but the staff were so kind and genuine. Look no further and stay at this hotel!!
- Vanessa (10/5): - Second time staying at this property. Large and modern rooms. Super clean and unbeatable location. Moira was beyond helpful and truly went out of her way to assist in any way possible. Would definitely stay again! Highly recommend!
- Cheri (10/5): - First, the hotel was wonderfully located and was easy accessible for all the places that our family needed to get to! The rooms were clean, and the service each day was amazing! Moira was exceptional! She greeted us each time we saw her, and she asked if we needed anything! She also rushed to come help us when one of our family members accidentally locked themselves out of the room! It was a wonderful stay and the service was perfect!! Everyone needs to stay here!!
- Clare (10/5): - This was the perfect place to stay for a few days. A great location! A stones throw from the Spanish steps, a small wall to the Trevi fountain and right in the middle of everything you need. The room was lovely and tidy. Moors went above & beyond to assist with any of our needs. Would recommend for an amazing stay!
- David (10/5): Great location - Great location. All the sites within walking distance. Would stay here again.
- Gustavo (10/5): - Amazing hotel in downtown Rome. I will definitely come back to this wonderful hotel!
- Sherry (10/5): - Moira was fantastic. She was very accommodating. We had an issue checking in online, she called us from her personal phone to assist. The location is fantastic, central, close to all tourist areas. Love it and will go back.
- Katya (10/5): - Clean room. Great location. Very easy check-in. Responsive and very nice property manager.
- DANIEL (10/5): - The street, though perfectly positioned for the Metro and many sites by foot, is largely without restaurants and bars, so it becomes quite calm and quiet at night.
- Tammy (8/5): - Property manager was very accommodating and friendly. Her assistant, young man, needs a little more instruction in customer service. The WiFi was down and when I asked him about it the next day, he firmly told me I was already informed it was down. I was simply asking if it was fixed. Being from out of country, no WiFi was a huge inconvenience. This property is close to a lot of shopping. It’s a bit dark walking in to the lobby area after hours, but I felt safe overall. Bathroom was dark and small.
- Jennifer (2/5): - BED BUGS .. I stayed in room 3 and informed the property that on leaving I had several bites on my arms and legs, more so than your normal mosquito bites. They assured me this had never happened there before and that I was mistaken. However, I went to a doctor immediately upon arriving in Florence (before sleeping anywhere else) and they told me that they were certainly bed bug bites. I have grappled with leaving this review because the staff were truly great except for their denial of this. The bites have gradually gotten worse and I have dealt with discomfort and embarrassment for the remainder of my trip.
- Juan (10/5): - This hotel was fantastic. First time in Rome and this was ver accessible to everywhere I needed to go. Moira was very help and welcoming. I had a wonderful experience!
- Martha (10/5): - This place is quiant and gorgeous...will definitely book again.
- Richard (10/5): - Very nice room close to everything in the heart of the city
- Lauren (10/5): Fantastic gem in Rome - Our first trip to Rome and I have been planning for years. This hotel was excellent if you’re needing a place to stay that is comfortable, close to transit and in the heart of everything! We had a basic room, it was quite spacious, bathroom water pressure was great and lots of hot water, very comfortable king sized bed. Quiet street at night. Moira was fantastic from beginning to end! She sent us clear instructions for entry as we were arriving later in the evening. She was a joy, always smiling and offering us an umbrella on days there might be rain, thank you Moira! The location is literally 5 minutes from the Spanish Steps, 11 to the Pantheon, 25 to the Coloseum, 7 minutes to Spagna station. Great restaurants and shops in the area. We will we back!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Highly recommend! - Great location with easy check in and great accommodations! The concierge even called us a taxi for the following morning and helped with anything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were updated. Overall great stay!
- Naomi (10/5): - Moira was wonderful and friendly. The location was perfect to everything and in a great neighborhood. Room was clean and was a fantastic size. Would recommend.
- Jean Andre (10/5): - I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, thanks to Moira She was incredibly attentive and made sure every part of my visit was comfortable. Highly recommend due to her excellent service!
- Laurie (10/5): - Everything was great. Moira is kind and attentive.
- Ashley (8/5): Location near shopping center - It was a nice short stay near shopping malls and restaurants. Ms. Moira was a pleasant lady that helped us a lot throughout our stay.
- annette (10/5): - Our room was nice, the bed was most comfortable, we kept repeating how great we slept! The hotel is in the perfect area to walk quickly to different sites, it was quiet in the night! Moira, the manager was super nice and helpful in giving us tips and recommendations! We would def stay at this hotel again.
- Agnes (10/5): - The property is located in area that is walkable to all the historical sites in Rome. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping opportunities around and yet it was very quiet at our hotel room and did not hear any of the street noise outside. The bed is very comfortable with top notch beddings. The safe was not working but was easily fixed.
Moira, the receptionist at the desk was the real gem of this place and helped us a lot from calling the tour company when we were running late to getting us a cab. We did get a bottle of sparkling wine too! We will definitely return if opportunity comes to return to Rome.
- Robert (10/5): - Moira was very kind and accommodating, the room was pleasant and exactly what we needed for our brief stay. Walkable to the sites as well as food.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful hotel near all the attractions, clean and spacious rooms.
- Sawin (8/5): - Very convenient location
- Maria S (8/5): - Very centric Boutique Hotel! Near Fontana di Trevi, The Spanish Steps, restaurants and shopping.
- Yamila (10/5): - It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel. The girl at the front desk Moira was amazing. She helps us all the time giving useful information. The hotel is in Excellent location. I like the Cafe. And good service. I recommend
- Laura (10/5): - Excellent property in the heart of downtown Rome!
- JUAN (10/5): - Great location, quiet and trust worthy staff. I accidentally left values on night stand while out all day and they were all there upon our return to the room. Moira was so nice and accommodating. The Boutique Hotel is located on the 2nd floor of building. Our room was big, the bed was so comfortable, and cozy. it’s 2 minutes from Spanish Stairs. The street is full of boutiques, with near by restaurants, bars, and shops. It’s 25 min walk to Vatican one way and 25 min walk to Colosseum the other way. Would definitely come back 😊
- Sandeep (10/5): - Great location (really convenient), nice bedroom and bathroom (good size). Great service and Moira (at the front desk) was wonderful and helpful. Definitely recommend this place
- Aurora (4/5): - Moira is nice and accommodating. The room we stayed was okay. There was not enough light, we were hesitant to turn the lights on due to power outage in our room. The water takes a long time to get warm and we didn’t have hot water to shower on the second day, the bathroom sink was clogged they fixed all these, but still it was very inconvenient. The entryway to our room also smelled of cigarette smoke. In fairness to them, the beds are comfortable and the room is quiet. The area is near to all the tourists spots.
- Bethany Lois (10/5): - I loved my stay here! It was a perfect location. So much to do was in walking distance. I walked everywhere while I stayed here. The location is in a shopping area with tons of fabulous shopping and dinning. The vibe of the area was so fun and up beat. I felt totally safe, which was great because I was a female traveling solo. I would one hundred percent recommend this property. Moira at the front desk was so kind and helpful. She would check up on me every time I saw her and was helpful with directing me and giving me tips about the places I wanted to visit. The room was so comfortable. The bed was just right and the room was equipped with everything I needed. I was afraid that the noise from the people walking on the street below would keep me up at night, I never had a problem with that. All in all this boutique hotel was a great place to stay while touring beautiful Roma. I would stay here again.
- Searra (10/5): - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Moria was a fantastic front desk attendant who was friendly and helpful with recommendations regarding the area. Great location, right in the hub of Rome.
- Maricela (10/5): - I had an excellent experience at the hotel. It’s location is perfect, close to everything, in a pedestrian street with shops and restaurants. The room was very comfortable, lots of space, and light. It was very clean and had everything we needed.
Moira at the reception was so kind and helpful, she called me in advance and sent me directions, then she greeted me and kept my bags until it was time to check in. She was always attentive at our needs, gave us directions, and even helped me sending me home something that my daughter left behind in the room. Moira was a great host.
I would recommend this hotel, very happy with my choice and would definitely go back.
- Breanna (10/5): - Excellent stay! Room was cleaned daily. Comfortable spacious room. Great location. Receptionist greeted us every encounter and made sure we were okay. Would highly recommend when in Rome!
- Ketsia (10/5): - First, the location is amazing literally maybe 2 minutes tops away from the Spanish Steps. Was able to check in early and the room was HUGE!! The receptionist Moria was so nice and accommodating. The best accommodation I have had in Rome. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Rome!!
- Michal (8/5): - Nice accomodation, friendly and helpful staff, perfect location.
- clara (10/5): - Moira was so great! She let us check in early and leave our luggage after we checked out. The location was wonderful and so was the property. 10/10
- Hitomi (10/5): - Excellent customer service.
Clean large room.
Awesome location.
Would love to stay again!
- Memo (10/5): - VERY NICE PLACE! The staff is wonderfull and the place is located perfectly. Highly recomend!
- Paul (10/5): - Great location
Very reasonably priced
- Josephine (10/5): - We loved the quiet rooms and comfy bed, the hospitality was 5 stars! The location was great.
Nothing not to like
- Kelcey (10/5): - Front desk staff was attentive and available. The location could not be beat, you can walk minutes to the Spanish steps and there is food, coffee and bars readily available nearby. The rooms were clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
- Trami (10/5): - Stayed here 4 nights and had the best experience!
This boutique hotel is in the ideal location, within close walking distance from great shops, bars, restaurants and Rome’s major landmarks and attractions. Room is clean, spacious and came with all the necessities. Staff members here were some of the friendliest, most helpful and accommodating people I have met throughout my entire trip here in Italy. Grazie mille, Moira and Alberto.
I travelled solo and felt completely safe and comfortable the entire duration of my stay, so much so that I ended up extending my stay another night. I can’t recommend this place enough and would definitely stay here again!
- Colleen (10/5): - Best experience! Marla was wonderful. Great location. Close to everything. So clean. The gentleman carried my really heavy bags down 4 flights of stairs. There’s an elevator but it stops between floors. Highly recommend!
- Ben (8/5): - Great property for those interested in visiting popular tourist spots in Rome. The property had a small fridge, small provides breakfast, safe, and comfortable bed. Unfortunately TV didn’t have available streaming services available. Overall would visit again if staying in Rome due to location to tourist spots and nearby restaurants and bars.
- Jamie (10/5): - Perfect location
- Rafael (10/5): - Great customer service experience. Extremely friendly staff. Highly recommend.
- FARAN-EBI (8/5): - Fantastic location
- Jamie (2/5): - It is not really a hotel. There is no staff, the place looks abandoned, and check-in is completely done remotely via Whatsapp. We did not met another human for the duration of our stay. Expedia needs to really re-consider this listing. We really wish we had stayed at a proper hotel in the vicinity and I would discourage anyone from staying at this glorified VRBO.
- Senait (10/5): - Front desk was very helpful, she went above and beyond.
- Veronica (10/5): - Incredible stay! Staff was incredible kind and accommodating. Very easy to reach. Location was perfect! Down the street from shopping, bars, restaurants, Spanish steps. Very spacious room, and very clean! Bonus was the size in elevator. Definitely on the bigger size for an Italian elevator.
Will definitely be staying here again!
- Leslie (10/5): - Nice property!
- Su Ferng Verena (8/5): - The staff handling their WhatsApp, she's super helpful and responsive. This is crucial esp when they dont have a regular manned reception desk. So all of you who book this hotel can rest assure you will be well virtually taken care of.
The location is good too. A nice 7-10mins walk to Spagna station while walking alongside shops and cafes so it doesn't actually feel like the walk is far and it's not secluded.
After my stay, I even whatsapped the hotel about some areas that needed deep cleaning and she replied me very positively telling me she will inform the cleaning ladies.
The TV only has Italian channels. The shared pantry/ snacks corner outside the rooms provides a coffee machine and capsules but just no creamer/ milk - so coffee the italian way~
- Emiko (10/5): Great apartment style hotel for first timer!! - The location and room itself were amazing. Very modern and clean. We were visiting Rome for the first time and chose this place for location. Definitely close to everything you want to see in city if you are new here. The place was clean and cute. Could not be happier with the choice of this hotel!!
- Tansyn (6/5): - Large room with very good air conditioning. Unfortunately the overhead shower wasn’t working properly, it took us until the last day to get it working as it had calcified. Hotel did offer for maintenance to come however not whilst we were present. The housekeeping also did not provide toilet paper beyond the first day and towels were only refreshed once. Hotel is okay if you want a large room and air conditioning however some other amenities are lacking.
- Nicholas (10/5): - Amazing property that feels like your own, within walking distance to everything you could want for around the Spanish steps.
- Maria (8/5): - Great location, easy to access main attractions in area.
Quiet and beds were comfortable.
- Whitney (4/5): - Me and two other couples had a hard time checking in, about 30 minutes to just get in the room. There is NO staff present ever it’s all done electronically, so when there was no toilet paper we were screwed. I wont Be staying here again, but decent for the price.
- Tracy (4/5): - The rooms were fine. However, access to them was very difficult. The hotel is located on the second floor, up 2 very narrow staircases which were difficult to manage with our luggage. And the digital access was very difficult due to confusing instructions and very weak wifi signal at entry point. We entered the hotel with 2 other couples. One couple was very young and technically saavy. All 3 couples struggled to gain entry.
- William (10/5): - This was our first time visiting Rome. Check in was fairly easy and communication was available with management. This hotel DOES NOT have front desk help but communication was made via messaging as well as phone calls and entrance was not difficult. The cleaning staff did a fantastic job daily and was very accommodating. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms as well. The location was absolutely AMAZING. It is located in the best shopping district in the city. Numerous cafes, restaurants, etc. are all very close by. The Spanish Steps are a 5 minute walk. Pantheon and Trevi Fountain a 15-20 minute walk. Colosseum and Vatican City roughly a 30 minute walk. Anything and everything your heart desires is within walking distance. Would definitely stay again!
- Gareth (10/5): - My wife and I had an excellent stay here for our trip to celebrate her birthday.
The location is absolutely brilliant, just off the Via del Corso with great access to anywhere you need to go in the city. Everywhere was walkable – 30 minutes to the Colosseum, maybe a few more to the Vatican, the Spanish Steps were just around the corner, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain all close too, and 30 minutes on foot from Termini station.
So many options for food and drink nearby, shopping too, and the area was safe and quiet at night when we were getting back in.
The hotel itself was very accessible, our room was superb, and the staff were very communicative via WhatsApp before we had even left and also during our stay. We couldn't really have asked for more.
