- Angela (8/5): - Our family of five have recently returned from 7 nights at Vidi Boutique hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The property is a little out of the way and had a limited restaurant menu during our stay but the rice and noodles we did have were delicious and great value. The pool was beautiful and well maintained and we pretty much had it to ourselves most of the time. The only disappointment we encountered was when I rang to confirm our free shuttle transfer, that was included in our package, we were informed they no longer provide this service. This was one of the reasons we picked this property as we were travelling with three children and it was meant to take some of the stress out of our arrival. Expedia assisted and did cover the cost of our transfer once we supplied a receipt. The staff at Vidi Boutique were amazing and went out of their way to make our time there relaxing and comfortable. Thank you to Bud ha, Jesieca, Doni, Ayu, Juni and all the other staff, you were all so kind and helpful. We loved having your cat around too, our kids called her 'Patches'.

- epafrodituss (10/5): Great Small Boutique Hotel - Hotel size is small but comfortable with big main pool also nice setting garden surrounding, room is big and bed in confortable. wife internet connection is fast for small hotel. The most memorable is the staff is friendly.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not sure? - Cockerel behind deluxe rooms, moved to other side of hotel and there for received a downgrade. 2nd room had bath although wouldn’t fill due to issue with plug and so moved for a third time. Staff were very helpful and accommodating with issues however spoke little English making communication difficult. Pool area nice although only in sun until around mid/late afternoon due to positioning. Can rent a bike from hotel although ours didn’t tell you how fast you was going!! Definitely need a bike as not in best area of Jimbaran and still far from beach with a bike. WiFi OK, works ok when signed in however signs out when phone is locked. Overal OK stay. Rooms definitely need updating. Avoid if you are a light sleeper.

- scharla (8/5): Lovely hotel, great location for the airport - This is a really nice hotel to stay in of you don't mind not being on a beach. We chose it because we had an early flight and the location is perfect for the airport. They even offered us a free airport transfer (at 6am!) which was a really nice touch. Most Bukit/Jimbaran/Uluwatu attractions are also a short taxi/grab ride away and the hotel was happy to book us a bluebird taxi instead of promoting overpriced private drivers like many other hotels in Bali/Lombok. The room itself was spacious and clean and came with its own kitchenette/living room area. There is also a great pool. A great choice for the last few days before your flight and a good value for money.

The properly facility need to improve: poor water pressure, telephone not working and only had one!, toilet ventilation fan not working. Room and toilet key not provide, had to request from front desk. Toiletries not replenish. Swimming pool is clean.

But after booking we received an email from the hotel stating that they didn't pick up after 9pm. Hotel manager refused to pay for our taxi, so we left felling ripped off.

Bathroom is big, clean with bath. Hot water. Both room a separate ac. In front of the room a big swimming pool. Withe sunbeds. Quite, no noise.
- SimonT617 (6/5): Nice family place - Stayed in August as part of a family holiday. The hotel itself looks smart from the outside with all rooms facing the excellent pool. The room we had was on 2 floors was big and spacious. Breakfast was good and a nice touch was the cake on the last day. The staff was friendly and helpful. However our room was a little dated and tired and the shower was not that brilliant. Water pressure was not so good at the sink. However the hotel is in the process of refreshing the rooms to bring them up to date.
- sampQ233QS (6/5): Ummmm - It was good don't get me wrong thats my i put it as 3 stars but there were a few let downs which annoyed me First good things were on the last day at breakfast you get a free long brownie cake for for 7 people. Kitchen space and outside area. Beds are decent for Asia and the air con is nice. The staff were nice too Let downs The area which it was built in... There was mosquitoes everywhere and you get bitten all the time. There is no misquote nets too. Getting a moped is hard because there is never mopeds anywhere rent apparently and you can't get them from the hotel because apparently they are always booked
- jaxnm2017 (8/5): Good budget place for families - Our family stayed here for five nights. The great thing about this place is the rooms are suites so gives a bit more space for everyone. Bed is nice and comfy. The bathrooms, like everywhere I've been in Bali, was clean but not the same standard as western bathrooms. But we had hot water and a shower and bath. They could improve by putting a shower curtain over the bath to stop the water going everywhere. Good aircon and fast wifi. The pool is great, nice and clean with a shallow area for little ones. Pool towels were provided by staff whenever someone was in the pool. Breakfast was good, I recommend getting the noodles, they are homemade and taste delicious. On our third morning, we were also given some sweet cakes and pies for breakfast no extra charge; on our fourth day, we got provided with a huge chocolate brownie that we shared with everyone; the people in another room got given a huge cake. We also are lunch and dinner at the restaurant. The restaurant is good and value for money. As in other reviews, the taxis don't usually know where the hotel is as it's down a little lane so take a card with you that shows the map on it, they have a large yellow sign on the street and it's near a circle k, we didn't have a problem getting to the main road and then guiding our driver to the right place. We got an airport transfer no problems and staff were always accomodating and took the time to get to know us and make us feel at home. Overall, we would recommend this place for families, of course, it's not five star but it's good, clean and affordable. We would definitely stay here again.

- Glenice8 (4/5): Terrible - Location of the hotel is near the airport, around 15 mins drive. However, the hotel is situated in a street that not many cab drivers know about. My advice is to grab a name card as there is a map of the location of the hotel. Pictures provided on the website of the exterior of the hotel is exactly the same. However, this is where our horror story began. Booked through Expedia the "FAMILY ROOM" on the website the stated that the bedrooms are SEPARATED from the kitchenette, oh boy i am so wrong. The beds of my kids are right in-front of the kitchenette. They shifted the dining area as a "ROOM" in order to accommodate us. (Really horrible) Told them to rectify with expedia as the rooms that we have booked is far different from what they gave us initially. Still never got resolve during our stay. On our 4th day out of my frustrations seeing my kids eat their meals on the bed, i followed up if we can move in to the original room that we initially booked, the ones with with a real kitchenette. They have finally moved us after being an irate customer. Staffs speaks basic english so if you have any concerns or something, they might not get what you are saying. The hotels lines are also down so the staff are only using a handphone to call for a cab or if you want to do outside call. All in all i will not recommend this place. Find somewhere else where you can get a better service.

- GnT+3 (8/5): One night stay - We booked into this hotel for just the last night we were in Bali so we would be close to the airport. A $3 taxi fee to the airport is all it is though traffic is quite bad it can still take 15/20mins. The hotel is lovely though it was very hard to find, our driver performed 2 uturns while trying to find it as it is on the way to Nusa Dua, the Jimbaren signs point in the opposite direction. When we did find it, it is down a long dodgy looking driveway unfortunately overshadowed by a huge monster abandoned multistory building next door. A real shame for this hotel - the government should force the demolition of these such buildings. Beautifully kept hotel - lovely pool and lovely rooms, plenty of room for our three primary aged children and us with a self sustaining kitchen. However it smelt overpoweringly from mothballs - once my husband located the culprits and put them out on the back balcony it was much better! There are a few friendly fluffly rabbits which roam free on the property which my children adored. Breakfast was included which you can eat in their poolside dining area or it can be brought to the room. This was by far the worst breakfast we have had on this trip and there was lots of it. Only the fried rice was good.

- _xKeu_ (6/5): Pretty pool area, but a few things leave to be desired - The hotel pool area is lovely and looks like the photos provided. Also the bedroom looks nice and the bed is comfortable. I was less impressed though about the cleanliness of the bathroom as well as a few construction logic errors that result in flooded floor after a shower. The airport transfers seemed to come with a limited supply as well. But for a good price deal this can be an agreeable stopover.

- 889grahamm (8/5): Just like the Website - Often the website pictures make hotels look better than the reality. Not at Vidi. Although the access road does not promise much, once you enter the hotel proper, the area around the pool is an oasis. The rooms (we were in a suite) are spacious and have all the necessary amenities. The view to the pool area belied the fact that we were in the middle of Jimbaran suburbia. The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was a good Balinese breakfast of Nadi goring and fresh fruit. We only stayed one night due to a late night flight arrival. The complimentary transfer from the airport was a bonus. Overall, great value for money. We would stay again.

The room was basic and clean, but smelled a lot like moth balls, especially the bathroom. No hot water for showering. All in all, for the price it was just ok. The restaurant was very limited especially at breakfast. No major complaints.
- 864ingvilds (8/5): Friendly and helpful staff - Such kind and helpful staff, really nice pool area. They have three bunnies running around, which is pretty cool. The wifi worked well. We got some fruit from the supermarket and made a fruit salad every morning. The kitchen doesn't have a lot of equipment, but enough to make something simple. And I'm sure the staff would given us more if we asked for it. They paid for our taxi to the next hotel, which we did not expect at all! You need transport to get around, but it's so cheap in Bali, so we didn't see that as a problem. You have to go to a seafood restaurant on Jimbaran Beach just before sunset!

Hotel is fairly new so everything was in very good shape. Facility very attractive. Pool very nice. Staff very helpful, friendly and eager to please. Free shuttle to airport much appreciated. Only negative was the location as there is nothing near to walk to so you'll need to taxi everywhere. Having said that, it is fairly central to Nusa Dua, Jimbaran Beach and Uluwatu...ie all of the locations south of the airport.
- Moadam283 (10/5): What a great hotel! Recommended. - There were 15 of us consisting of 5 families -12 adults, 5 kids. Vidi Boutique Hotel was perfect in every way for our 5 days 4 nights stay. What a wonderful stay. All of our rooms were on the ground floor overlooking the pool which both the kids and the adults loved. We swam to our hearts content. A beautiful hotel, very intimate and personal. The staff were friendly and courteous and the Managers Pak Eksik and Pak Nana made us feel like family. Nothing was a problem. The room was beautiful huge and clean with a kitchenette - fridge, microwave, and utensils for simple cooking. Mineral water were provided every single day. Breakfast were awesome - there's something for everyone in our huge family. Rice, fried vegetables, beef rendang. fish balls soup, fried chicken, fried noodles, omelet, coffee, tea, bread, butter and and an assortment of jams and peanut butter - yes, some of the dishes offered for breakfast offered throughout our stay. We were able to swim until quite late at night which was wonderful, the pool was warm, clean and heavenly. Vidi Boutique Hotel is not far from the main tourist spots, so it is an excellent location to chill and relax, and also to do the tourist traps thingies. The staff, the staff, the staff - just great. We ordered some 'salak' fruit which came in packed in packages just before we left, and the 'pia' cakes too which were recommended by Pak Nana were exquisite - we ordered some and he brought them to us too to bring home - how personal is that. We had a long chat with Pak Eksik too till quite late one night and he got us some natural herbal remedies for my Mom. And he offered some local cakes too. Now that is service beyond par. Coupled with an exquisite interior and facilities, our next stay should we come to Bali again, will definitely be with Vidi Boutique Hotel. The hotel is expanding with an additional 180 odd rooms in an new building just nest tot he present one, will be ready come July, so they must be doing quite well. Highly recommended! I'd like to thank all of the staff for making our stay unforgettable. The pics in their website is exactly what you'll get so you wont be disappointed. Wifi was super strong! I can go on and on and on.....

- 571jiwonl (10/5): Really great stay - My bf and i stayed there for five nights. We first booked four nights then extended one more night , because , yes , we loved it. The hotel is really nice as it's shown in the pictures. Its beautiful. The room was clean. We didn't see any bugs or ants even after eating fruits. The pool was clean. The breakfast was okay. They served Chinese dishes, one type of white bread and several jars of jams and butters for the bread, two types of fruits, water , tea and some juice we didn't try. We are not big on breakfast so it wasn't a big deal for us. We were able to cook some eggs in our room for some extra protein. Having a real fridge was good. We were able to stuff it with ice creams and frozen water bottles for rides and beaches, and fruits. When we booked the hotel, we were actually looking for any hotel near Klub Jimbaran to use their gym and we were very lucky. I would definitely recommend this place to others and also come back for myself. The best part of this place was the manager, Nana. He was very kind and friendly. He was very helpful. We felt very welcomed and pleased from the day one. He gave us a ride back to the airport too.

The rooms including a kitchen were big, clean and had a great view on the pool. The kittchen was fully equipped including micro wave. If something was missing you just needed to ask the staff and they gave it to you. The pool was very nice to have a relaxing time. Even after dinner we were using it. We enjoyed our included breakfast a lot. It was a huge mix of local food, toast, fresh fruits, coffee and fresh, cold milk. There was so much to eat that it felt like a big brunch. Just delicious like the food in the restaurant at night. The staff felt like a small family that took care about all of our wishes. Also they were very supportive with the baby and played with her during breakfast. The hotel is located a little bit outside of town. You need a car, taxi or motorbike to get around. The staff will help you anytime with calling a taxi. I highly recommend to stay here!
- Adrian (10/5): Perfect boutique hotel - Our favourite! The staff at this hotel are very friendly and gave us excellent service. The breakfasts were top notch, Indonesian style with fruit, tea /coffee and water. They also came and asked us if we had any special requests one day and they brought us some croissants and pastrys with an omelette. The rooms were very clean and spacious - big wardrobes in the bedroom, separate living area with separate air con units. There's also a kitchenette with a hob, microwave, kettle and a large fridge with a divided freezer unit on top (not just a compartment in the fridge). All the rooms overlook the pool, which is a lovely view with Palm trees and plants. Location wise it's about half an hour to walk to the beach or approximately 50,000 IR in a taxi. There are some restaurants and warungs a few streets down the road, a KFC and McDonalds a little further (on the way to the beach). There is a Circle K at the end of the road (from the hotel) and a few more convinience stores within 5-10 minutes walk. The internal restaurant also makes excellent food. The swimming pool is beautiful. It's very clean and big enough to enjoy a nice dip, with a separate shallow section for young children or lounging. Pool towels are provided and the sun loungers are comfortable too with parasols if required. The pool is in a great little sun trap so also perfect for working on your tan. Such a lovely place to stay and we couldn't recommend it enough.
